Abstract

Abstract: The Public Health Center (Puskesmas) is a driving center for health-oriented development, empowering societies and families, and first-level health service is responsible for improving the quality of its services by delivering relevant, fast, and targeted information to achieve its vision and mission. Especially during the Covid-19 pandemic some time ago, the role of the Puskesmas laboratory as the frontline of the first-level health service center in examining Covid-19 symptoms and carrying out vaccinations is essential. Therefore, this community service activity aims to implement a web-based laboratory application at the Gandus health center to assist laboratory staff in completing, collecting, processing, and presenting data in a more structured, easy-to-read, timely, and accurate manner. The stages of the activity include interviews, discussions, patient data collection and laboratory examinations, application installation, and socialization of its use. This activity can improve the quality of laboratory services and add value to the accreditation of the Puskesmas.Keywords: application; laboratory; Public Health Center; service  Abstrak: Puskesmas sebagai pusat penggerak pembangunan berwawasan kesehatan, pemberdayaan masyarakat, keluarga dan tempat pelayanan kesehatan tingkat pertama bertanggung jawab meningkatkan mutu layanannya melalui penyampaian informasi yang relevan, cepat dan tepat sasaran kepada pasien, dalam upaya mencapai visi dan misinya. Terutama di saat pandemi Covid-19 beberapa waktu yang lalu, maka peran laboratorium di puskesmas sebagai garda terdepan pusat layanan kesehatan tingkat pertama dalam pemeriksaan gejala Covid-19 dan pelaksanaan vaksinasi menjadi penting. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan aplikasi laboratorium berbasis web di puskesmas Gandus dalam upaya untuk membantu staf laboratorium dalam melengkapi, mengumpulkan, memproses, dan mempresentasikan data secara lebih terstruktur, mudah dipahami, akurat, dan tepat waktu. Tahapan kegiatan meliputi wawancara, diskusi, pengambilan data pasien dan pemeriksaan laboratorium, instalasi aplikasi, serta sosialisasi penggunaannya. Kegiatan ini dapat berkontribusi untuk meningkatkan kualitas layanan laboratorium dan menambah nilai akreditasi puskesmas.Kata kunci: aplikasi; laboratorium; layanan; puskesmas

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors that affect user satisfaction on the website library South Sumatra using webqual 4.0 method. Data collection in this research is done by spreading kuisioner to 40 respondent. The result of correlation test in research shows that the quality of usage and quality of information have a positive relationship while the quality of interaction has a negative relationship with user satisfaction. When viewed based on t test shows that the variable quality of usage and quality of information have a positive effect on user satisfaction library website south sumatera. While the quality of interaction variables do not have a positive effect on user satisfaction library website of South Sumatera, thus the quality of library service website of South Sumatera needs to be increased in order to increase user satisfaction.

Abstract

Museum dr.AK.Gani memerlukan media promosi untuk menarik masyarakat berkunjung ke museum fisik yang menyimpan koleksi bersejarah peninggalan sang pahlawan nasional. Pada pameran bersama museum di Sumatera Selatan, museum dr.AK.Gani turut berpartisipasi dengan memamerkan sejumlah koleksi namun tidak cukup informatif dikarenakan terbatasnya ruang pamer dan petugas yang dapat mempromosikan keberadaan museum. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan merancang brosur inovatif yang memiliki luaran berupa media promosi dalam bentuk brosur yang dapat disebarluaskan kepada pengunjung pameran secara cepat. Brosur dirancang berbasis teknologi Google Map yang memudahkan pengunjung menuju lokasi museum dipandu oleh aplikasi Google Map. Informasi yang dimuat dalam brosur mendeskripsikan museum dan mengilustrasikan koleksi serta bangunan museum dr.AK.Gani sehingga diharapkan dapat menarik minat kunjungan wisata sejarah masyarakat. Hasil evaluasi kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa brosur yang dibuat mempu memberikan informasi yang menarik minat masyarakat berkunjung ke museum dr.AK.Gani. Rata-rata pengunjung setuju bahwa brosur yang dirancang efektif memberikan informasi tentang museum dr.AK.Gani dan meningkatkan minat untuk datang berwisata ke museum fisik. Mitra PkM menyatakan bahwa brosur inovatif sudah sesuai untuk kebutuhan fasilitas layanan informasi museum dr.AK.Gani.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a mechanism for detecting machine learning-based cyber intrusions in electronic learning systems. In today's digital era, e-learning systems have become an integral part of education and training, providing global accessibility and more interactive learning efficiency. However, security and privacy challenges are becoming critical issues due to the increasingly real threat of cyber intrusion. Attackers try to take advantage of vulnerabilities and weaknesses in e-learning systems to steal sensitive data or disrupt operations. To overcome this problem, this study focuses on the use of artificial intelligence technologies, especially machine learning, to proactively detect and respond to intrusive threats. Through e-learning security analysis, identification of weaknesses, and potential loopholes for cyber-attacks, the most suitable machine learning algorithms are selected to detect patterns and signs of intrusion attacks on network data. The evaluation results show that several machine learning algorithms, such as SVM and Decision Tree, have good performance in recognizing cyber intrusions with high accuracy, precision, recall, F1-score, and ROC-AUC. By implementing machine learning-based intrusion detection technology, it is expected that electronic learning systems can be more proactive in identifying and responding to intrusion threats before significant damage occurs. This research has significant benefits in increasing security and privacy in the use of electronic learning systems. In addition, this study is expected to be a reference for further research in the world of cyber security and the application of artificial intelligence technology in supporting digital security.

Abstract

This paper aims to evaluate the performance of a machine learning model for predicting the number of visitors to a museum after the COVID-19 pandemic. The easing of policies that began to be implemented by the Palembang city government after the end of the pandemic at the end of 2022 became a momentum in predicting the number of visits to the SMBII museum. During the pandemic the museum experienced a very drastic decline due to closures and restrictions on activities at the museum and had an impact on achieving the museum's targets in the fields of tourism and education. Museum managers need to establish a strategy as an effort to achieve the targets set during the post-pandemic period. This study predicts the number of visits to the SMBII museum in post-pandemic years by applying the double exponential smoothing (ESM) model. The dataset used is SMBII museum visit data which is divided into three categories of visitors, namely students, local and foreign. The evaluation results show that the double ESM model has the best performance with MSE = 3.8 and a = 0.9. The phenomena that occurred in the student visitor category affected ESM's performance in predicting visits where MSE in the post-pandemic period had a 200% higher value than before the pandemic which was influenced by the implementation of post-pandemic policies in museums. With the forecasting results in this study, it is hoped that it can become information in developing strategies and improving the performance of post-pandemic museums

Abstract

The study Improving Information Security with Machine Learning explores the fusion of machine learning methodologies within information security, aiming to fortify conventional protocols against evolving cyber threats. By conducting a comprehensive literature review and empirical analysis, this scholarly endeavor highlights the efficacy of machine learning in anomaly detection, threat identification, and predictive analytics within security frameworks. Through practical demonstrations, such as z-score-based anomaly detection in network traffic data and NLP-based email security systems, the study illustrates the practical applications of machine learning techniques. Additionally, it delves into the mathematical underpinnings of predictive analytics and the architecture of neural networks for malware detection. However, while showcasing the transformative potential of machine learning, the study also confronts significant challenges. Ethical, legal, and privacy considerations emerge prominently, emphasizing the need for regulations addressing algorithmic biases, ethical dilemmas, and data protection. Moreover, the study emphasizes the practical challenges of scalability, interpretability, continual adaptation to evolving threats, and the harmonious interaction between human expertise and machine intelligence. By offering practical recommendations and future research directions, this scholarly exploration aims to empower researchers, practitioners, and policymakers in navigating the complex intersection of machine learning and information security, thereby fostering innovation and comprehension in this evolving domain.

Abstract

Malnutrition is one of the foremost health problems experienced by children under five in many countries, especially in low and middle-income countries. Meanwhile, the target of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2.2 is that all forms of malnutrition must end by 2025. Therefore, this study aims to predict the toddlers’ nutritional status (malnutrition, undernutrition, overnutrition, and normal nutrition) based on age, body mass index (BMI), weight, and length using the Multinomial Logistic Regression (MLR) classification method. The dataset consists of two hundred toddlers obtained from the Kaggle site. Following pre-processing, the dataset is divided, with 80 percent of the data for training and the remaining 20 percent for testing. The model was trained using 10-fold cross-validation (CV). In Addition, the MLR model performance was evaluated using the confusion matrix (CM), the area under the curve (AUC), and the Kappa coefficient (KC). The evaluation results using CM show that the accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity values are 0.9412, 0.9375, and 0.9790, respectively. AUC and KC also show excellent results. It indicates that the MLR method is an esteemed and recommended method for predicting the nutritional status of toddlers. Therefore, this research can contribute to providing early information so that the Government can immediately determine the necessary treatment.

Abstract

Conservation of Palembang Songket woven cloth is carried out at SMBII Museum. The thread fibers woven into Songket cloth are small in size and require a microscope to see the thread fibers clearly before determining the appropriate conservation mechanism for fabric damage. Community service activities are carried out by assisting in the use of digital microscopes in the conservation of Songket cloth collections. A digital microscope is used to magnify the appearance of the gold thread fibers of the Songket cloth, whether there is damage or not. The activity began with setting up a digital microscope device to be used in the study of Songket cloth conservation and continued with assistance in using the microscope by participants. The results of the assistance show that users can easily use digital microscope devices to display Songket fabric fibers that are damaged and require conservation. Hopefully, this community service will make it easier for the SMBII museum to carry out conservation and learning tasks at the museum and have an impact on ensuring the resilience of the Palembang Songket cloth cultural heritage in the digital era.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kualitas website Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Kabupaten Banyuasin agar pihak pengelola atau penyedian layanan website dapat mengetahui sejauh mana kualitas website bisa memenuhi keinginan dari seluruh penggunanya. Sampel yang digunakan sesuai rumus slovin dengan perkiraan tingkat kesalahan 5% adalah 400 responden. Pengumpulan data dengan penyebaran kuesioner dalam bentuk google form. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode webqual 4.0 yang terdiri dari 3 variabel yaitu X1 (kegunaan), X2 (kualitas informasi) dan X3 (kualitas interaksi). Untuk mengukur pengaruh antara variabel bebas terhadap variabel terikat menggunakan uji hipotesis yaitu uji F, uji T dan uji R. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa variabel X1 memiliki berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan pengguna dengan nilai thitung 6,404>ttabel 1,960 dan signifikansi 0,000<0,05. Variabel X2 memiliki berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan pengguna dengan nilai thitung 2,688 >ttabel 1,960 dan signifikansi 0,007<0,05, sedangkan variabel X3 memiliki berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan pengguna dengan nilai thitung 3,1616 >ttabel 1,960 dan signifikansi 0,000<0,05. Hasil juga moderat dengan uji R sebesar 46,9%.
