Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membuktikan peran financial literacy dalam memediasi pengaruh corona virus awareness dan financial attitude terhadap financial wellbeing rumah tangga. Populasi penelitian ini adalah rumah tangga di Kabupaten Jember dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 108 responden. Analisis data menggunakan teknik Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa corona virus awareness, financial attitude dan financial literacy berpengaruh terhadap financial wellbeing. Financial literacy terbukti memediasi pengaruh financial attitude terhadap financial wellbeing, tetapi tidak mampu memediasi dampak corona virus awareness terhadap financial wellbeing rumah tangga. Literasi keuangan mampu memediasi variabel-variabel yang berhubungan dengan kesejahteraan finansial meski dalam kondisi pandemi COVID-19.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Influence of Taste, Service Quality, Interior Design, and Digital Marketing on Customer Satisfaction case study at cafe hachi. The method used in this study is quantitative. The data collection method was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 120 respondents who had visited cafe hachi. The data analysis method used is the multiple linear regression analysis method using SPSS Version 26 software. The results of the analysis obtained indicate that Taste, Service Quality, Interior Design, and Digital Marketing on Customer Satisfaction case study at cafe hachi, with a contribution level of influence of 0.962 or 96.2% of the results of the R2 Determination Coefficient Test. The results of this study indicate that the variables Taste, Service Quality, Interior Design and Digital Marketing partially have a positive and significant effect on Customer Satisfaction.

Abstract

The business competition in the culinary industry has become increasingly intense along with the development of lifestyle trends that prioritize unique and memorable consumption experiences. In such conditions, business actors are required to adopt appropriate marketing strategies in order to maintain consumer loyalty. One of the businesses facing this challenge is Cafe Kopi Boss Jember. Based on this phenomenon, this study aims to analyze the role of digital marketing, market segmentation, and customer experience in enhancing consumer loyalty at Cafe Kopi Boss Jember. This research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method through questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents who are consumers of Cafe Kopi Boss Jember, selected using purposive sampling technique. The collected data were analyzed using validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression to examine the influence of each variable. The results of the study indicate that digital marketing, market segmentation, and customer experience have a positive effect on consumer loyalty, both simultaneously and partially. Among these variables, customer experience has the most dominant influence compared to the others. This suggests that in improving consumer loyalty, apart from utilizing digital technology and identifying the right market segments, providing a pleasant, comfortable, and memorable experience for consumers is a key factor that cannot be overlooked. The implication of this study is the importance for the management of Cafe Kopi Boss Jember to strengthen an interactive digital marketing strategy, design more targeted market segmentation, and continuously enhance the quality of customer experience through service, atmosphere, and menu innovations. These efforts are expected to sustainably increase consumer loyalty and strengthen the cafe’s competitiveness amid the fierce competition in the culinary industry.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian pada remaja siswa SMA/SMK di Kecamatan Genteng untuk mengetahui pengaruh literasi keuangan terhadap perilaku konsumsi Generasi Z (X1), untuk mengetahui pengaruh teman sebaya terhadap perilaku konsumtif (X2) dan untuk mengetahui pengaruhnya. pengaruh kondisi sosial ekonomi orang tua (X3) terhadap perilaku konsumtif. (Y) bagi siswa SMA/SMK di Kecamatan Genteng. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada 378 responden dan mengkonversi hasilnya ke dalam skala likert (1-5) sehingga dapat dianalisis hubungan antar variabel. Dengan menggunakan Uji Normalitas Kolgorov Smirnov dan regresi linier berganda diperoleh hasil bahwa variabel literasi keuangan dan rekan kerja signifikan terhadap perilaku konsumen. Hasil tes ini memerlukan pembelajaran terkait literasi keuangan pada siswa. Hasil uji hipotesis menyatakan bahwa variabel sosial ekonomi tidak signifikan terhadap perilaku konsumen. Hasil pengujian ini menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan ekonomi antar siswa mempunyai pengaruh terhadap perilaku konsumtif siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh harga tiket, fasilitas, dan media sosial terhadap minat berkunjung wisatawan di Pantai Pancer Puger, Kabupaten Jember. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan explanatory research. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 134 responden wisatawan dan dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa harga tiket, fasilitas dan media sosial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat berkunjung, Temuan ini memberikan implikasi praktis bagi pengelola destinasi wisata dalam menyusun strategi pengembangan terpadu dengan mempertimbangkan harga tiket, fasilitas dan media sosial. Penelitian yang akan datang sebaiknya menggunakan variabel tambahan seperti kualitas pelayanan, persepsi keamanan, dan citra destinasi guna memperoleh gambaran yang lebih komprehensif mengenai determinan minat berkunjung. Studi komparatif antara beberapa destinasi wisata pantai di wilayah Jember dan sekitarnya juga dapat memperkaya perspektif dalam merumuskan strategi promosi dan pengembangan pariwisata Kabupaten Jember.Kata kunci: Harga tiket, fasilitas, media sosial, minat berkunjung

Abstract

Generation Z has a great potential as part of the increasingly diverse consumption and investment targets in the current era of information technology advancement. Their important role in the economy must be directed to be wise in managing personal finances. The purpose of the study was to examine impact of income, financial literacy, and financial behavior toward the investment decisions of the Z generation. Observations in this study were 562 respondents from active students at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Muhammadiyah Jember. Multiple linear regression analysis was used as a data analysis tool. The results of the study show that income has no significant effect on investment decisions, while financial literacy and financial behavior are found to have a significant effect on investment decisions

Abstract

This study investigates the effect of the lunar cycle specifically the new moon and full moon phases on stock price patterns within the SRI KEHATI Index over a five-year period (2019–2023). Financial astrology, which integrates finance, astronomy, and behavioral psychology, has long been debated for its potential influence on investor sentiment and market movements. Using a quantitative research approach, this study analyzes secondary data from 11 companies selected through purposive sampling, resulting in 8,046 total observations across lunar cycles. Abnormal returns were calculated using the market model, and differences in stock price behavior were examined through paired sample t-tests comparing three days before and three days after both the new moon and full moon events. The empirical findings show no significant difference in abnormal returns surrounding either lunar event. Specifically, price patterns before and after the new moon exhibit no observable changes, indicating trend continuity rather than reversal. Likewise, the full moon phase does not produce statistically significant price deviations, suggesting that investor behavior in the SRI KEHATI Index is not influenced by lunar phenomena. These results contrast with prior studies that reported mixed evidence regarding lunar effects on market performance, implying that the impact of astronomical cycles may be context-dependent and vary across indices, time periods, and investor characteristics. Overall, this study concludes that lunar cycles do not affect price patterns in the SRI KEHATI Index. The findings contribute to behavioral finance research by emphasizing the limited role of lunar-driven sentiment in Indonesian sustainable stock indices.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pengetahuan investasi, literasi keuangan, dan persepsi risiko terhadap keputusan investasi tabungan emas. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah meningkatnya minat masyarakat terhadap produk tabungan emas, khususnya di PT. Pegadaian (persero) CP Jember. Fenomena tersebut menunjukkan adanya pergeseran perilaku masyarakat dalam memilih instrumen investasi yang dinilai aman, mudah akses, dan terjangkau. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan penyebaran kuesioner terstruktur kepada 150 responden yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Analisis data dilakukan dengan regresi linier beganda untuk mengetahui pengaruh masing-masing variabel independen secara parsial dan simultan terhadap variabel dependen, yaitu keputusan investasi tabungan emas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan investasi, literasi keuangan, dan persepsi risiko berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan investasi tabungan emas. Di antara ketiga variabel tersebut, persepsi risiko merupakan faktor yang paling dominan. Temuan ini sejalan dengan Prospect Theory (Kahneman & Tversky 1979) yang menjelaskan bahwa keputusan investasi dipengaruhi oleh cara individu memandang risiko dan potensi keuntungan. Persepsi risiko penting karena menentukan keberanian dan kehati-hatian investor, pengetahuan investasi membantu memilih karakteristik instrumen yang dipilih, dan literasi keuangan memperkuat kemampuan dalam mengelola dan mengoptimalkan keputusan investasi. Secara keseluruhan, hasil penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya peningkatan edukasi keuangan dan pemahaman risiko sebagai dasar pengambilan keputusan investasi yang rasional. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi empiris terhadap perilaku investasi masyarakat Jember, yang memiliki karakterisistik ekonomi dan tingkat literasi keuangan berbeda dibandingkan dengan wilayah lainnya.

Abstract

A widely discussed topic today is financial behavior, especially the tendency for someone to think short-term and make impulsive purchases. This often causes financial problems, even for someone with adequate income, due to being less responsible in managing their finances. This study was conducted to evaluate the effect of financial literacy, self-efficacy, and gender differences on individual financial behavior in the Generation Z group, especially students of Jember City Colleges. This study uses a quantitative method with data collection techniques through questionnaires. The number of samples used was 398 respondents, selected using a purposive sampling technique. To analyze the relationship between the variables in this study, a multiple linear regression technique was used. The results of the multiple linear regression analysis showed that the three variables had a positive and significant effect on financial behavior. Financial literacy has a positive effect of 1.022, self-efficacy of 0.109, gender of 0.199 with a sig value of all variables of 0.00 or <0.05. The results of the analysis show that financial literacy, self-efficacy, and gender contribute to the financial behavior of students of Colleges in Jember City.

Abstract

Student interest in entrepreneurship is very important to produce a creative and independent young generation. However, the level of interest is still relatively low, which is often caused by lack of funds, fear of failure, and the time needed to launch and operate a company is very short. The purpose of this study was to investigate how students' interest in entrepreneurship at the University of Muhammadiyah Jember is influenced by their entrepreneurial knowledge, motivation, and creativity. By distributing questionnaires, this study used survey techniques and quantitative approaches. Purposive sampling procedures and proportional stratified random sampling were used to select 200 respondents as samples from a total population of 8,362 students. Multiple linear regression was used to examine the data after the classical assumptions were tested. According to the results of the study, students' interest in entrepreneurship at the University of Muhammadiyah Jember is positively and significantly influenced by three independent variables, namely entrepreneurial knowledge, entrepreneurial motivation, and creativity.
