Abstract

Teknik editing foto prewedding menggunakan kecerdasan buatan (AI) di Gungde Photo adalah ide dari projek independen penulis. Kelebihan menggunakan AI adalah untuk mempermudah editing foto seperti menambah objek dan menghapus objek di suatu foto. Generatif Fil, atau lebih dikenal dengan istilah generative fill dalam konteks teknologi dan seni, merujuk pada konsep pembuatan konten atau karya yang dihasilkan melalui algoritma atau model berbasis kecerdasan buatan (AI) yang bersifat generatif. Pengembangan teknologi Artificial Intelligence (AI) telah mengubah proses pengeditan digital. Penelitian ini membahas perangkat lunak yang menggunakan AI Generative Fill untuk mengedit foto dan gambar. Perangkat lunak tersebut meliputi Adobe Photoshop, Skylum Luminar, Corel PaintShop Pro, dan GIMP. Dengan menganalisis fitur dan kemampuan masing-masing perangkat lunak, penelitian ini memberikan wawasan tentang pemanfaatan AI dalam pengeditan digital dan untuk meningkatkan estetika visual foto prewedding.

Abstract

Kebudayaan Bali kaya akan tradisi dan ritus sakral yang mencerminkan nilai spiritual dan sosial dalam masyarakatnya. Salah satu ritus penting adalah Metatah atau potong gigi, yang menandai transisi dari masa kanak-kanak ke kedewasaan. Ritus ini bertujuan untuk mengikis sifat buruk manusia, dikenal sebagai Sad Ripu, dan mempersiapkan individu untuk menjalani kehidupan dewasa yang lebih bijaksana. Namun, pergeseran makna ritus ini dalam masyarakat modern, yang sering dianggap sebagai formalitas belaka, memunculkan tantangan dalam menjaga esensinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengelaborasi makna filosofis dan simbolis ritus Metatah melalui medium fotografi ekspresi. Dengan memanfaatkan elemen visual seperti pencahayaan, komposisi, dan fokus selektif, karya ini menghadirkan interpretasi baru terhadap proses spiritual dan emosional dalam ritus tersebut. Metode yang digunakan meliputi pengamatan langsung, studi pustaka, wawancara dengan ahli, serta kolaborasi dengan Komunitas Budaya Gurat Indonesia (KBGI). Hasil karya berupa 15 foto menyoroti berbagai dimensi dari Metatah, dari simbolisme Sad Ripu hingga nilai moral dan spiritual yang melekat. Penelitian ini tidak hanya memperkaya pemahaman tentang budaya Bali tetapi juga membuka peluang untuk refleksi dan pelestarian tradisi melalui medium seni yang relevan dengan generasi modern.

Abstract

This study aims to map the aesthetics and emotional content implied in black and white photographic works by Aji Susanto Anom, a leading photographer from Indonesia. This research uses a visual arts approach and literature study to analyze various aspects which include techniques, compositions, themes, and messages conveyed in the works of Aji Susanto Anom. The research method used is a qualitative analysis of a number of black and white photographic works of Aji Susanto Anom that have been carefully selected. By paying attention to every visual and narrative detail, this study will identify the unique aesthetic characteristics and emotional content implicit in each work. It will also involve an understanding of the context of these works, including cultural influences, traditional values, and Aji Susanto Anom's career journey as a photographer. The results of this study are expected to provide a deeper understanding of how aesthetics and emotional content in black and white photography can be expressed through the works of Aji Susanto Anom. The findings of this study are also expected to contribute to the development of our understanding of black and white photography as a powerful artistic medium in conveying profound and inspiring messages.

Abstract

Jember Regency is a regency located in the province of East Java, Indonesia. Jember Regency is rich in reliable tourism objects and has great opportunities to be developed in the future. There are various natural attractions that save many small paradises that are still not widely known to the public. The creation of this work aims to introduce tourist objects to the wider community in Jember Regency in Landscape photography works. In making this Landscape photography work, the creator has the opportunity to know more and introduce various tourism places in Jember Regency to the wider community. The emergence of the idea started from the creator who likes to take landscape photos where landscape photos are divided into various kinds and the creator was born in the city of Jember, so the creator wants to learn more about landscape photography and introduce tourist objects to the wider community in Jember Regency in the work of Landscape photography. The creator uses the method of exploration, observation and literature study in order to get maximum results. After doing these three methods, the creator took pictures of various tourist objects in the city of Jember. These tourist objects consist of Papuma Beach in Lojejer Village, Payangan Beach and Teluk Love in Sumberrejo Village, Tea Gambir Gardens in Sumberbaru Village, Damar Wulan Waterfall in Ledokombo Village, Sucopangepok Rice Fields. View of Sucopangepok Village and SJ88 in Sucopangepok Village, Tobacco House in Mumbulsari Village, Dan Rejo Dam in Tempurejo Village and still some tourist attractions in Jember. Abstract

Down syndrome is a genetic disorder that causes sufferers to have a low level of intelligence and experience a distinctive abnormality on the sufferer's face, the WHO data estimates that 3000 to 5000 babies are born with this condition each year, until now in Indonesia concern for children with Down syndrome is still relatively minimal, especially in Bali, due to lack of knowledge about children with special needs with Down syndrome, so many people still isolate children with Down syndrome. The purpose of the creator of using Down syndrome as an object of research is to change the stigma of people who consider Down syndrome to be small and to visualize "Singaraja Special School Down Syndrome Children's Activities in Documentary Photography" so that they get several benefits, namely for creators, they can apply the knowledge gained in lectures. , for Institutions can provide references, and add insight to each individual, for the community can provide information about the activities of children with Down syndrome. In the process of creating a photographic work, the creator uses several methods, including the observation method, literature study, and the interview method, after carrying out the method used as material for the creation of a photographic work, the creator uses EDFAT theory and aesthetics, after using several methods and theories in the creation process, the creator gets a conclusion and the results of 15 documentary photos, regarding the activities of children with Down syndrome Singaraja SLB School, among others, folding clothes, children's learning activities, playing activities and other activities. Abstract

Bali is one of the provinces in Indonesia which has a variety of unique arts, cultures and customs. From the various kinds of arts, culture and customs in Bali, it is inseparable from Hindu religious activities in general in Bali. One of them is cockfighting or commonly called tajen. Cockfighting is one of the cultures of the Hindu community in Bali to offer blood as a ritual in Hinduism known as tabuh rah. The author uses Expression Photography in realizing this work, because he wants to show tajen from a different angle and wants to be more free to explore, express, imagine, the author's experience related to the tajen phenomenon in Bali. Through digital processing, which is controlled by the author with Photoshop software, objects can be manipulated, adding or subtracting objects in order to get a work that has a maximum visual appearance. To further strengthen this, the author utilizes the theoretical basis of aesthetics and semiotics in photographic works and maximizes visual elements in photographic works. The data used in this work are secondary data and primary data. The creator's data collection process uses a qualitative method, which is a method used to observe the environment and the documentation method through digital photo camera recordings, which is then followed by image processing on computer software. The process of observing the creation of this work is done by observing objects related to the making of Expression Photography before taking a photo. At the shooting stage, data collection is also carried out on the angle of shooting / camera angle against the object and the angle of light on the object. Abstract

Di Bali sendiri sudah terdapat Yayasan khusus untuk orang orang dengan keterbatasan fisik atau penyandang disabilitas. Salah satunya adalah Yayasan Bunga Bali yang merawat penyandang disabilitas seperti tuna daksa, tuna rungu, dan tuna wicara. Disabilitas yang sudah sembuh dan mempunyai keluarga dapat kembali pulang ke rumahnya. Dengan sembuhnya kondisi mental maupun fisik dapat membuat mereka memiliki sebuah kelebihan. Sebab mereka tidak bisa terus menerus bertumpu pada keluarga mereka yang entah kapan bisa menemani dan merawat mereka. Ada beberapa penyandang disabilitas yang sudah keluar dari Yayasan dan mencari pekerjaannya dengan mandiri, ini merupakan hal yang positif dan dapatt digunakan sebagai contoh untuk para penyandang disabilitas lainnya agar bisa menjadi seperti mereka. Dari permasalahan tersebut memberikan inspirasi penulis sebagai ide dalam pembuatan karya foto yang dituangkan kedalam fotografi essay dengan teknik kolase dan foto hitam putih. Tujuan dari penelitian terfokus pada bagaimana penyandang disabilitas aktif dapat memeberikan semangat dan motivasi bagi disabilitas lainnya. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan bersumber dari data yang didapat dari wawancara, obervasi, dan analisis data. Hasil dari penelitan ini adalah 8 karya foto essay mengenai disabilias akif dari beberapa kabupaten yang ada di Bali. Karya foto yang telah dibuat diharapkan bisa memberikan gambaran kepada disabilitas lainnya serta masyrakat tentang bagaimana para disabilitas dengan keterbatasan yang mereka miliki bisa hidup mandiri dari usaha dan hasil kerja kerasnya.

Abstract

The process of making classic cars is certainly an activity that is rarely encountered by the general public and is very interesting to be documented both for the benefit of the company and published for the general public. The process of making a car that is made manually so it takes quite a long time and and goes through quite interesting stages, so it needs to be captured in more detail. To visualize the process of making the Mercedes Benz 300 SL Gullwing car in documentary photography at Tuxedo Studio, it is a unique and lively work. The making of the Mercedes Benz 300 SL Gullwing at Tuksedo Studio became a place and reference for expressing ideas in making documentary photos. In creating this documentary photography, the EDFAT method was applied.The purpose of implementing EDFAT is to describe aspects that need to be considered in shooting in order to obtain comprehensive, varied photos, both from a photographic point of view and in terms of exposure to events or events. Also by going through several stages of the creative process, namely exploration, experimentation, and embodiment. These methods and stages were passed in order to obtain a visual work that was in accordance with the wishes, the stages of the creation process that had been passed, in the end being able to provide a presentation on how to visualize the process of making a Mercedes Benz 300SL Gullwing car in documentary photography.

Abstract

Kusamba Village, Dawan District, Klungkung Regency, Bali is a salt-making area that is very famous for its distinctive taste and traditional processing. These salt farming skills have been passed down from generation to generation until now. This salt farming activity is carried out in a conventional way with traditional equipment. Although the number of salt farmers is decreasing day by day, the remaining farmers are still persistent in maintaining their business to meet the economic needs of their families. The purpose of this research is to raise, promote and know the salt processing process in Kusamba Village, Klungkung Bali in story photography. Meanwhile, the benefits of this research are that it can increase knowledge, think creatively, give satisfaction to the creator and contribute references to ISI Denpasar and the public can know the process of processing salt in Kusamba Village, Klungkung Bali. In this study used the method of observation, interviews, literature study. Meanwhile, to analyze the work, aesthetic theory is used, namely: idetional and technical levels and EDFAT theory. This research produced 15 story photography works that explain the process of processing salt in Kusamba Village, Klungkung Bali from sand selection, watering sand with sea water, drying, sand distillation, drying under the sun, crystallization, dredging salt grains, salt packaging and marketing processes. Meanwhile, how to visualize it can be concluded from the existence of internal and external factors in the application of ideas, observations, literature studies, photo shoots, selection, image processing, printing and exhibitions.
