The variables used are the number of companies, the number of lenders, the number of borrowers, and the number of loans whose data is taken from the Financial Services Authority. This type of research is quantitative research using the Error Correction Model (ECM) method approach. The result of this research is that the presence of peer-to-peer lending will synergize with KBMI 4 Bank and produce a mutually beneficial relationship.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has led to significant shifts in consumer behavior, particularly in terms of shopping preferences and behavior, with a marked increase in online shopping. This study aims to re-examine the factors influencing online shopping behavior during the COVID-19 pandemic by integrating  framework the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), and Cognitive Biases. The study focuses on Indonesian millennials as the target population. Data analysis is conducted using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results show that cognitive bias, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and subjective norms influence individuals' intentions to shop online. However, attitudes towards use and perceived behavioral control do not influence individuals' intentions to shop online. Finally, the results indicate that individuals' intentions to shop online impact actual online shopping behavior. The higher the individual's intention to shop online, the more certain they are to do so during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

The focus of this research is how remittances from Madura to Jakarta affect the spending habits of families left behind. Six people are available for interview. From the interviews, the informants shared the experiences of the families and the migrants themselves in managing the remittances earned. The interviews were recorded, transcribed, and analyzed using qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. The results of the interviews show that families are very happy and supportive of their members becoming circular migrant workers. This happens because of the limited job opportunities available in Madura, and the needs of life that must be met. Before a family member migrated to work, the family's life was so poor that they could not fulfill some family needs. But after a family member migrated, their economic life and even social life became better. The money earned by the family is used not only for consumption of daily needs, but the family prioritizes investment and most of them invest by buying gold, jewelry, land, and opening or expanding existing businesses. In addition, the families also prioritize their children's education so that they can go to school to the highest level possible.

Abstract

Tourism plays a crucial role in the Indonesian economy. However, the Covid-19 pandemic has substantially impacted the tourism industry. One of the destinations that have been heavily affected is the Ijen Crater. Virtual tourism has emerged as a crucial tool for promoting destinations, including the Ijen Crater, and is helpful to both tourists and tourism managers. This study examines the influence of information access, flow, and telepresence, representing the virtual reality (VR) experience of the Ijen Crater, on tourists' intention to visit the site. Hedonic value mediates the relationship between the VR experience and visits intention on the Ijen Crater. The study involved 117 respondents who had experienced Ijen crater virtual reality, and the SEM-PLS method was used for analysis. The research findings indicate that flow and telepresence have a significant influence on hedonic value, and flow itself has an indirect effect on visit intention. While information access does not significantly impact hedonic values, information access and telepresence do not indirectly influence visit intention to The ijen crater. These findings contribute new insights for researchers, stakeholders, and managers of Ijen tourism.

Abstract

Banks as intermediary institutions play an important role in a country's econo-my. When operating, there are several risks that must be faced and managed by banks. One of them is credit risk which is measured using the NPL ratio as the main indicator. Although there have been many studies on the determinants of NPL, there is still a re-search gap related to the impact of the global crisis such as the COVID-19 pandemic. So the purpose of this study is to identify the determinants of NPL in public banks in Indone-sia or banks that have been listed on the IDX during the period Q1 201 to Q4 2023. The results of the study using a dynamic panel data model with the System GMM approach show that inflation and solvency ratios have a negative and significant effect on NPL while interest rates, BOPO and Dummy COVID-19 have a positive effect on NPL. While GDP, ROE, SIZE and LLP have no effect on NPL. The results of this study can be a con-sideration for policy makers in formulating policies related to NPL and can provide in-sight for banks in managing credit risk or optimizing risk management strategies amidst economic dynamics.
