Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has had an impact on the implementation of vocational secondary schools (VSS) internships. The enactment of the area causes internship activities not to run optimally. Vocational secondary schools 1 Mojokerjo provides direction to students in the performance of internship activities. The method used in this research is descriptive exploratory. The result of this study is the regulation of the implementation of internships during the Enforcement of Restrictions on Community Activities (ERCA) period in the East Java region under the Directives of the East Java Provincial Education Office. They rescheduled internship activities that match the student's domicile or location. Students are not allowed to do an internship at the company. Schools encourage students to maintain health protocols and monitor student conditions boldly.

Abstract

This research is aimed to: (1) develop of assignment and monitoring information system of prakerin students based on SMS gateway with Raspberry Pi, and (2) reveal the quality of assignment and monitoring information system of prakerin students based on SMS gateway with Raspberry based on ISO 9126 on aspects of usability, functionality and portability. This development study refers to the Waterfall development procedure by Roger S. Pressman. The development design was grouped into five procedures, consisting of: (a) communication, (b) planning, (c) modeling, (d) construction and (e) deployment. The results of this research are: (1) development of assignment and monitoring information system of prakerin students based on SMS gateway with Raspberry Pi done by using web-based CMS Kalkun and (2) testing the quality level using ISO 9126 on usablity aspect results 85% (high) with alpha cronbach of 0.851 (good), functionality aspect yields 1 (good), and meets the portability aspect.

Abstract

The use of fossil fuels is currently very high, resulting in an increase of CO2 in the atmosphere. The transport sector is currently the largest contributor to the greenhouse effect worldwide. Electric vehicles are the main solution for researchers to develop. This study compares force, torque, and orbital flux of electro-orbital ring-type motors and radial electro-motors. This research uses a simulation method to determine the value of force, torque, and linkage flux in each type of motor using MagNet Software. This research is development research using a simulation approach. The simulation test subjects consisted of computers, MagNet 7.5 software, Solidworks, Calipers, Protractors, and Rulers. There are 3 data collected in this research, and the data are as follows: (1) force, (2) torque, and (3) linkage flux. Data analysis was done by simulating with magnet software and then comparing the test results on the linkage force, torque and flux. The simulation results are then compared to determine the performance of each motor. The result of this research is that the performance of the ring-type orbital electro motor compared to the radial electro motor is better in attractive conditions, but lower in repulsive conditions. In the magnetic attraction condition, the average value ratio of the ring type orbital electro motor compared to the radial electro motor is 1.08:1 force, 1.68:1 torque, and 1:1.03 linkage flux. In the reject condition, the average ratio of ring-type electro motor orbitals compared to radial electro motor is 1:1.3 force, 1:1.06 torque, and 1:1.6 linkage flux.

Abstract

Practical learning is an important activity to improve the skills of prospective vocational education teachers. Supporting facilities have an essential role in the implementation of the practice. This study aims to analyze the learning media's needs for making wireless engine diagnostic tools with raspberry pi. The method used in this research is ADDIE. This research only reached the design stage. This study focuses on the needs analysis used in the development process. The research sample is in the form of an application layout design that will be developed. The instrument in this study was an assessment sheet in the form of a questionnaire regarding the feasibility of the design. Experts in the field of application development assess designs. Developing a wireless engine diagnostic tool with raspberry pi is needed to support learning for prospective vocational teachers. The design of learning media Design of the Wireless Engine Diagnostic Tool with Raspberry Pi can be developed for practical learning of vocational students. The results of the media feasibility test by media experts can be categorized as "very feasible" to continue at the development stage.
