Abstract

This study aims to describe the form of directive speech acts in Indonesian language learning at SMP N 1 Kendal. This research is qualitative descriptive research. The research data were obtained from teachers‘ and students’ utterances in Indonesian language learning. The data sources of this research are Indonesian language teachers and students of class VIII. The data collection technique uses listening and note-taking techniques, while the data analysis technique uses agih and padan analysis methods. The technique of presenting data results using informal techniques. The results showed that there were 32 forms of directive speech acts in Indonesian language learning at SMPN 1 Kendal, including ordering, inviting, suggesting, requesting, and pleading. In this study, the data that often appears is the act of telling.

Abstract

Good knowledge and understanding of conjunctions, especially subordinating conjunctions, will help language users communicate effectively. In this research, the relationship between meaning and subordinating conjunction markers in motivational texts on Instagram social media will be explored through a qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out by observing the use of subordinating conjunctions in motivational texts on social media from four accounts on Instagram. To find out the meaning relationship contained in subordinating conjunctions, the researcher carried out data analysis using the matching method; Meanwhile, to find out the markers for subordinating conjunctions, the data was analyzed using the agih method. Data that has been successfully analyzed is presented informally. The results obtained are that there are ten relationships in the meaning of subordinating conjunctions and their markers, namely: (1) relationships in the meaning of time, including: the beginning of the event marked since; the beginning of the time of an event marked by another event marked by, when, and while; the beginning of an event that is preceded by another event marked after; and the duration of an event marked with a certain event marked until; (2) the meaning relationship of terms marked as long as, if, if, if, and if; (3) the relationship between meaning and goal marked in order; (4) concessive meaning relationships marked although and although; (5) the meaning relationship between marked comparisons such as; (6) the meaning relationship of comparison is marked rather than;  (7) causal meaning relationship marked because; (8) the meaning relationship of the results marked then, until, and so; (9) the relationship between the meaning of marked tools with and without; and (10) the meaning relationship of complementation is marked by that. Pengetahuan dan pemahaman yang baik tentang konjungsi, khususnya konjungsi subordinatif akan membantu para pemakai  bahasa dalam berkomunikasi secara efektif. Dalam penelitian ini akan dieksplorasi seputar hubungan makna dan penanda konjungsi subordinatif dalam teks motivasi di media sosial Instagram melalui pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyimakan terhadap pemanfaatan konjungsi subordinatif dalam teks motivasi di media sosial dari empat akun di Instagram. Untuk mengetahui hubungan makna yang terdapat dalam konjungsi subordinatif, analisis data peneliti lakukan dengan metode padan; sedangkan untuk mengetahui penanda konjungsi subordinatif, data dianalisis dengan  memanfaatkan metode agih. Data yang telah berhasil dianalisis disajikan secara informal. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah adanya sepuluh hubungan makna konjungsi subordinatif dan penandanya, yaitu: (1) hubungan makna waktu, meliputi: awal peristiwa berpenanda sejak; awal waktu peristiwa yang ditandai dengan peristiwa lain berpenanda demi, ketika, dan selagi; awal suatu peristiwa yang didahului dengan peristiwa lain berpenanda setelah; dan lamanya suatu peristiwa yang ditandai dengan peristiwa tertentu berpenanda hingga; (2) hubungan makna syarat berpenanda asalkan, bila, apabila, jika, dan kalau; (3) hubungan makna tujuan berpenanda agar; (4) hubungan makna konsesif berpenanda walau dan meski; (5) hubungan makna pembandingan berpenanda seperti; (6) hubungan makna  perbandingan berpenanda daripada;  (7) hubungan makna sebab  berpenanda karena; (8) hubungan makna hasil berpenanda maka, sampai, dan sehingga; (9) hubungan makna alat berpenanda dengan dan tanpa; dan (10) hubungan makna komplementasi berpenanda bahwa.

Abstract

This research aims to describe and inform about the influence of social media on the speech acts or behavior of students in an educational unit by looking at it based on direct illocution and indirect illocution. The data in this analysis are students in grades 4, 5 and 6 of SD Dhuhaa Islamic School. The primary data in this research are students' actions and speech related to direct locution and indirect illocution, while the secondary data are books or expert opinions related to the object of this research. This research is included in qualitative research. The data collection techniques used were interviews and observation. This research uses a content analysis method. Based on the research that has been carried out, it is concluded that there is an influence from the use of social media on the speech acts of students in grades 4, 5 and 6 at SD Dhuhaa Islamic School. This is because of the speech acts or behavior shown by these students, which are included in the influence of social media.

Abstract

Keutuhan sebuah teks motivasi dapat dibangun dengan hadirnya konjungsi koordinatif. Fungsi konjungsi tersebut sebagai penghubung antarkata, antarklausa atau antarkalimat, dan bisa pula antarparagraf; sehingga dapat memiliki hubungan yang lebih kuat dan jelas antarunsur tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan jenis konjungsi koordinatif dan hubungan makna konjungsi koordinatif dalam teks motivasi di media sosial Instagram. Penentuan sampel dalam penelitian kualitatif ini secara purposive sampling. Sumber data yang berasal dari media sosial Instagram diambil dari akun yang bervariasi dan data disiapkan secara bervariasi agar tujuan penelitian dapat tercapai. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi atau penyimakan. Metode agih, dengan teknik dasar berupa teknik bagi unsur langsung dan teknik lanjutan berupa teknik lesap dan teknik parafrase dimanfaatkan sebagai analisis data. Metode padan dengan teknik teknik pilah unsur penentu dimanfaatkan sebagai analisis data pula. Hasil analisis data disajikan secara informal. Hasil penelitian ini terlihat adanya hubungan makna konjungsi koordinatif berupa: (a) makna penambahan dengan penanda dan sejumlah 7 data; (b) makna pemilihan dengan penanda atau sejumlah 4 data; (c) makna pertentangan ada 2 data (1 data berpenanda padahal dan 1 data berpenanda sedangkan); (d) makna perlawanan sebanyak 9 data (1 data berpenanda tetapi dan 8 data berpenanda tapi); dan makna pembatasan dengan penanda kecuali terdapat 2 data.

Abstract

The ability to captivate and bind readers' hearts with the sentences presented needs to be mastered by prose writers. A single sentence with a transitive verb predicate can be used to present short story works of fiction. The aim of this research is to describe the role of syntax in single sentences with transitive verbs in the best short stories on cerpenmu.com. Theories about syntactic roles from Fillmore (1968), Ramlan (1987),  Sudaryanto (1987), Mastoyo (1993), Damaianti & Sitaresmi (2005) as well as theories about transitie verbs from Damaianti & Sitaresmi (2005), Chaer (2009), and Moeliono et al. (2017), will be used by researchers to achieve research objectives.  This research is qualitative research. Data collection was carried out using the technique of listening to language use in short stories. Data analysis was carried out using the agih method and the matching method. The results of data analysis are presented using informal methods. Based on the analysis carried out, it was found that there were 29 variations in syntactic roles in 60 sentences. The largest variations in syntactic roles are Actor–Action–Sufferer with 16 sentences; second position, Time–Doer–Action–Sufferer number 5 sentence; and third position, Experience–Condition–Sufferer and Experience–Condition–Result, each with 3 sentences. The syntactic role variations are under three sentences, namely 8 syntactic role variations of 2 each and 17 syntactic role variations of only 1 sentence each. There is a tendency for authors to prioritize human characters as actors and experiences in an activity or event.Kepiawaian memikat dan mengikat hati pembaca dengan kalimat yang disajikan perlu dikuasai oleh pengarang prosa. Kalimat tunggal dengan predikat verba transitif dapat digunakan untuk menyajikan karya fiksi berjenis cerpen. Tujuan penelitian ini mendeskripsikan peran sintaksis dalam kalimat tunggal berpredikat verba transitif dalam cerpen terbaik di cerpenmu.com. Teori tentang peran sintaksis dari Fillmore (1968), Ramlan (1987), Sudaryanto (1987), Mastoyo (1993), dan Damaianti & Sitaresmi, (2005) serta teori tentang verba transitif dari Damaianti & Sitaresmi (2005), Chaer (2009), dan Moeliono et al. (2017) akan peneliti manfaatkan untuk mencapai tujuan penelitian.  Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik penyimakan pemakaian bahasa pada cerpen. Analisis data dilakukan dengan metode agih dan metode padan. Hasil analisis data disajikan dengan metode informal. Berdasarkan analisis yang dilakukan, ditemukan adanya 29 variasi peran sintaksis dalam 60 kalimat. Variasi peran sintaksis terbanyak yaitu Pelaku–Perbuatan–Penderita asejumlah 16 kalimat; posisi kedua, Waktu–Pelaku–Perbuatan–Penderita sejumlah 5 kalimat; dan posisi ketiga, Pengalam–Keadaan–Penderita dan Pengalam–Keadaan–Hasil, masing-masing sejumlah 3 kalimat. Variasi peran sintaksis di bawah tiga kalimat, yaitu 8 variasi peran sintaksis masing-masing 2 kalimat dan 17 variasi peran sintaksis masing-masing hanya 1 kalimat. Ada kecenderungan pengarang mengedepankan tokoh insani sebagai pelaku dan pengalam dalam suatu aktivitas atau peristiwa.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in the context of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) with the theme "Build the Soul and Body." The main focus of this research is to explore how applying this theme in the curriculum can affect students' character-building and competency development. This research also explores the effectiveness of applying the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model in implementing the P5 project. Using the PjBL model allows students to develop creativity and independence because they can process ideas and carry out various project activities independently. The research method used was qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data was collected through observation, interviews, discussions, and direct field research. The data were analyzed using a qualitative descriptive approach, which is expected to provide valuable insights for curriculum development that is more relevant to future educational needs and contribute to the understanding of strengthening the learner profile of Pancasila through a project-based learning approach. The implementation results show that learners can understand the importance of maintaining mental and physical health and develop 21st-century skills, such as critical thinking, creativity, communication, and collaboration. These findings suggest that integrating PjBL in the Merdeka Curriculum can be an effective strategy for building learner competencies following the values of the Pancasila Learner Profile.

Abstract

The research entitled "Expressive Speech Act Patterns in Solo Comedy on Kompas TV by Marshel Widianto" aims to describe the types of expressive speech acts found in Stand Up Comedy YouTube videos by Marshel Widianto on Kompas TV with the data source being Marshel Widianto's YouTube videos on Stand Up Comedy on Kompas TV data is in the form of lingual humor units found in Marshel Widianto's speech when delivering Stand Up Comedy which contains expressive speech acts. In the process of searching and processing data, this research used qualitative descriptive techniques in the form of listening, taking notes and reading and then observing Marshel Widianto's SUC video. This research applies the matching method to determine the meaning of Marshel Widianto's speech which is included in the type of expressive speech act. In this research, 8 types of expressive speech acts were found in the form of congratulating 8 data, saying thank you 3 data, criticizing 13 data, complaining or worrying 8 data, blaming 2 data, praising or flattering 26 data, apologizing 26 data. 1 data, and insinuated 45 data. Based on the data listed, the most dominant type of expressive speech act is sarcasm with 45 data.

Abstract

 Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan wujud kohesi gramatikal dan leksikal yang terdapat dalam video food vlogger Farida Nurhan, mendeskrisikan wujud koherensi yang terdapat dalam video food vlogger Farida Nurhan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif.  Sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tuturan yang terkandung dalam video food vlogger Farida Nurhan yang diperoleh sejak Januari sampai Desember 2019. Teknik penyediaan data menggunakan teknik simak dan teknik catat. Teknik penyajian hasil analisis data dilakukan dengan cara informal. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan, ditemukan 55 data kohesi gramatikal berupa 19 data persona, 7 data demostratif, 2 data, elipsis 5 data komperatif, i 4 data substitus, 18 data konjungsi dilanjutkan 34 data kohesi leksikal yang berupa 8 data repetisi, 21 data hiponimi, 5 data kolokasi,  dan diakhiri 18 data koherensi berupa spesifik-generik, generik-spesifik, hubungan sebab akibat, hubungan sarat simpulan, dan hubungan makna alasan (argumentatif).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of technology in improving the effectiveness and efficiency of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning evaluation in the digital era. The focus of the research is on how the application of digital media and platforms, such as Learning Management Systems (LMS), Google Forms, and Quizizz, can enhance the interactivity, objectivity, and relevance of modern learning assessment. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method using a library research approach by reviewing relevant journals, books, and previous studies concerning the use of technology in PAI learning evaluation. The findings reveal that technology improves feedback accuracy and timeliness, broadens access to learning outcome data, and encourages students’ active participation. Nevertheless, several challenges were identified, including low digital literacy among teachers and students, limited infrastructure, and data security concerns. This study emphasizes the importance of enhancing teachers’ digital competence and providing adequate technological facilities to ensure that digital-based evaluation can be effectively and sustainably implemented in Islamic education contexts.
