Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of leadership style, communication, and work environment on employee job satisfaction at PT. Indopura Utama Tanjung Morawa Kab. Deli Serdang over a three-month period, from March to May 2022. The method used was a census technique, with all 70 employees serving as the research sample. Data were collected through a questionnaire measuring the variables of leadership style, communication, work environment, and employee job satisfaction. The data analysis included validity and reliability tests, descriptive analysis, normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, multiple linear regression, correlation test, t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination test. The descriptive analysis results showed that the variables of leadership style, communication, work environment, and job satisfaction were categorized as good. Based on the partial hypothesis testing (t-test), leadership style, communication, and work environment were found to have a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction. The coefficient of determination indicated that these three variables contributed 75.7% to job satisfaction, while the remaining 24.3% was influenced by other factors not examined in this study, such as compensation, work discipline, and motivation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine, analyze, and examine the effect of  work commitment, work discipline, and competence to teachers performance in Sekolah Guang Ming Medan. The research approach used is quantitative with the type of survey research. The total population in this study is 53 people and a sample of 53 people with census sampling techniques in which all members of the population were research samples. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire instrument. Data analysis techniques used are validity test, reliability test, descriptive analysis, normality test, heterokedastisities test, multicollinearity test, multiple linear analysis, multiple linear correlation coefficient test, partial hypothesis test or t test, simultaneous hypothesis test or F test, and calculation coefficient of determination. The results of descriptive analysis for work commitment variables and work discipline variables are in the very good category, while the competence and teacher performance variables are in the good category, at Sekolah Guang Ming Medan. Based on partial analysis, work commitment, work discipline, and competence have a positive and significant effect on teacher performance at Sekolah Guang Ming Medan. Simultaneously, work commitment, work discipline, and competence have a positive and significant impact on teacher performance at Sekolah Guang Ming Medan. The contribution of the work commitment, work discipline, and competence  variables to improve teacher performance variables is 0.812 or 81.2%, while the remaining 0.188 or 18.8% is influenced by other variables not examined by the authors in this study, such as leadership, work motivation, organization culture and so on.

The study aims to describe the effecf of visionary leadership, organizational behavior, and work environtment on employee work performance at PT. Pundi Mas Berjaya Medan. This research was conducted for 5 (five) months, start from May 2019 to September 2019. This research use non probability sampling method. The respondents of this research are all employee at PT. The contribution of visionary leadership, organizational behavior and work environtment variable to improve the employee work performance variable is 0,822 or 82,2 %, while rest of 0,178 or 17,8% influenced by other variable not examined by writer in this research, such as work discipline, motivation, and work satisfaction. This study aims to describe the effect of transformational leadership, work motivation, and job satisfaction on employee performance at PT. Mega Bintang Mas Indonesia Medan. The population in this study is 72 (seventy two) and the sample is 72 using census technique. Research respondents are employees at PT. Mega Bintang Mas Indonesia Medan, which are 72 (seventy two) employees. The data research instruments used are questionnaires and documentation. Based on a partial analysis, transformational leadership, work motivation, job satisfaction have a positive and significant influence on employee performance at PT. Mega Bintang Mas Indonesia Medan. This study aims to describe the effect of human resource planning, organizational culture and competence on employee performance at PT. Mega Warna Lestari Medan. The population and the sample in this study is 83 (eighty tree) employees using census technique. Research respondents are employees at PT. Mega Warna Lestari Medan, which are 83 employees. The data research instruments used are questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used are validity test, reliability test, descriptive analysis, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, normality test, multiple linear analysis, multiple linear reliability coefficient test, partial hypothesis test or t test, simultaneous hypothesis test or F test and the coefficient of determination. The results of descriptive analysis at PT. Mega Warna Lestari for human resource planning is in good category, organizational culture is in very good category, competence is in good category and employee performance is in good category. Based on partial analysis, human resource planning, organizational culture and competence have a positive and significant influence on employee performance at PT. Mega Warna Lestari Medan. Simultaneously, human resource planning, organizational culture and competence have a positive and significant influence on employee performance at PT. Mega Warna Lestari Medan. The contribution of human resource planning, organizational culture and competence to improve employee performance variables amounted to 0,621 or 62,1%, while the remaining 0,389 or 38,9% is influenced by other variables that are not examined by writer in this research, such as working discipline, work motivation and job satisfaction.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh motivasi kerja, lingkungan kerja dan kompensasi terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT. Jasindo Prima Tama Medan. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama 6 (enam) bulan, dimulai dari bulan Mei 2021 sampai dengan Oktober 2021. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dan kuantitatif. Responden penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan di PT. Jasindo Prima Tama Medan yang berjumlah 82 (delapan puluh dua) orang karyawan. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner untuk mengumpulkan data dari variabel motivasi kerja, variabel lingkungan kerja, variabel kompensasi dan variabel kinerja karyawan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, analisis deskriptif, uji normalitas, uji heteroskedastisitas, uji multikolinearitas, analisis regresi linier berganda, uji koefisien korelasi linier berganda, uji hipotesis parsial uji t, uji hipotesis simultan uji f, dan perhitungan koefisien determinasi. Hasil analisis deskriptif untuk variabel motivasi kerja, variabel lingkungan kerja, variabel kompensasi dan variabel kinerja karyawan berada pada kategori baik pada PT. Jasindo Prima Tama Medan. Berdasarkan analisis secara parsial variabel motivasi kerja, variabel lingkungan kerja, variabel kompensasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT. Jasindo Prima Tama Medan. Secara simultan variabel motivasi kerja, variabel lingkungan kerja, variabel kompensasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT. Jasindo Prima Tama Medan. Kontribusi variabel motivasi kerja, variabel lingkungan kerja, variabel kompensasi terhadap peningkatan variabel kinerja karyawan sebesar 69,6%, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 30,4% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti oleh penulis dalam penelitian ini. seperti komitmen kerja, disiplin kerja, kepuasan kerja dan lain-lain.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of transformational leadership and communication on employee performance at the Dr Wahidin Sudirohusodo National Higher Education Foundation, Medan. The number of samples in this study were 76 respondents using simple random sampling method. This type of research is quantitative research using path analysis techniques and questionnaire data. Path analysis hypothesis test is done by using multiple linear analysis, classical assumption test and intervention test. The transformational leadership and communication variables partially show a significant effect on employee performance. Transformational leadership variables and communication simultaneously affect employee performance with a coefficient of determination of 87.8% which means transformational leadership variables, communication can explain employee performance as much as 87.8% and the remaining 12.2% is explained by other variables such as discipline, commitment, compensation and others.
