Abstract

The change of birth weight on low birthweight newborns reflects the nutrition condition or baby nutrition and related to the baby's immune system. Besides nutrition, the gestation period also affects weight gain on low birth weight newborns. This research to find out the correlation between the gestation period and weight gain on low birthweight newborns in the Perinatology ward of RSUD (Regional Public Hospital) Banyumas. This was quantitative research using an observational experimental design with the retrospective approach. There were 77 respondents as the samples of this research who were taken using a probability sampling technique of simple random sampling. The results showed that 47 (61%) respondents were male. Most of the mothers or 70 respondents (90.9%) were housewives. Most of them or 26 respondents (33.8%) were Primary School graduates. The results of the linear regression test showed that the significance value on the variable of the gestation period was 0007 (p0.05). There was a correlation between the gestation period and weight gain on low birth weight newborns in the Perinatology ward of RSUD Banyumas.

Abstract

Hand washing compliance is still relatively low. Efforts are needed to improve the quality of health and welfare, one of which is through education on the habit of hand washing with soap (HWWS). The objective of the study was to investigate the effect of play therapy using quartet media on knowledge, attitudes and practices of hand washing in school-aged children aged 9-12 years. This study employed a quasi-experimental one group pre-test-post-test method conducted at Banyumas Hospital. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling with a sample of 55 respondents. The research instruments occupied were a knowledge questionnaire, an attitude questionnaire, and an observation sheet for the practice of washing hands with soap. Data were analysed using the Wilcoxon test. The results revealed that knowledge, attitudes, and practices of washing hands with soap increased after being given play therapy using a quartet. The Wilcoxon test result obtained was a significance value (p) on the effect of playing therapy using quartet media, namely knowledge p = 0.000, attitude p = 0.000, and practice p = 0.000. Play therapy using quartet media has a significant influence on knowledge, attitudes, and practices of washing hands with soap.

Abstract

Health services through the chronic disease management program or Prolanis is a process to determine the health condition of patients with chronic diseases regularly, glucose being one of the parameters of the examination. Glucose levels are influenced by several factors, which are age and body mass index. This study aims to determine the relationship between blood glucose levels with body mass index and age in prolanis patients at Baturraden II Health Center. This type of research is a quantitative study with a cross sectional design using a total sampling technique and the GOD-PAP (Glucose Oxidase Para Amino Peroxidase) examination method on prolanis patients at Baturraden II Health Center. The research was carried out in April 2022 and obtained the results of the examination of blood glucose levels with an average of 133.30 mg/dl, the relationship between age and body mass index respectively to blood glucose levels was p value = 0.701 and p value = 0.211. So it can be concluded that there is no significant relationship between blood glucose levels with body mass index and age in prolanis patients at Baturraden II Health Center.

Abstract

Health service through Prolanis (Program Pengelolaan Penyakit Kronis or Chronic Disease Management Program in English) is a management program for health maintenance in order to achieve an optimal quality of life. One of the targets of prolanis is patients with hypertension. Hypertension can cause the blockage of uric acid crystals in blood vessels so that kidney function is disrupted. As a result, there is an increase in uric acid levels. Based on a preliminary study conducted on March 14, 2022, at Puskesmas Klirong II, it was found that 23 prolanis patients had complaints of joint pain, while 38 of them had hypertension. This research aimed to find out whether there is a correlation between uric acid levels and the incidence of hypertension in prolanis patients at Puskesmas Klirong II. The population was 50 people with a sample of 37 people. The sample was obtained by employing random sampling. This was an Analytical Observational research with a Cross-Sectional research design. The uric acid levels were checked with the Urikase-PAP photometer method. This research was conducted in May 2022. The results showed that 4 respondents had normal uric acid levels and normal blood pressure. On the other hand, there were 12 respondents who had normal uric acid levels and high blood pressure. Meanwhile, the other 21 respondents had high uric acid levels and high blood pressure. The results of the Fisher's Exact Test statistical test obtained a p-value = 0.028 <0.05. It was concluded that there was a correlation between uric acid levels (photometer method) and the incidence of hypertension in prolanis patients at Puskesmas Klirong II, Kabupaten Kebumen.

Abstract

Hypertension is a condition of abnormal and continuous increasing blood pressure, which has been checked several times. It is caused by some risk factors so that blood pressure cannot be maintained properly. The risk factors for hypertension that cannot be changed include age, gender, and genetics. Modifiable risk factors include smoking, a low fiber diet, dyslipidemia, and excessive salt consumption. In particular, dyslipidemia is a metabolic disorder characterized by an increase in total cholesterol, LDL, triglycerides, and HDL. Individuals who suffer from hypertension must receive regular care. One is by following Prolanis, so their high blood pressure does not cause disease complications. This study aimed to determine what factors were associated with hindrance to lowering blood pressure and the relationship of HDL levels and physical activity with blood pressure in patients with hypertension Prolanis at Ajibarang Public Health Center I. This quantitative research utilized the total sampling technique and the method of examining HDL levels of precipitation. The study was conducted in June 2022. It is shown that the relationship between HDL levels with systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure were p = 0.870 and p = 0.870, respectively. Meanwhile, the relationship between physical activity and systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure were p = 0.055 and p = 0.754, respectively. It meant that there was no relationship between HDL levels and physical activity with blood pressure in hypertension Prolanis patients at Ajiabarang Public Health Center I.

Abstract

Background: Neonatal asphyxia refers to condition newborn baby experiences lack of oxygen, leading to brain damage or even death. There are several factors that make asphyxia babies experience respiratory failure, labor factors which include prolonged labor, actions such as vacuum extraction, forceps extraction and sectiocaesarea. that can be also be caused by birth depression, infections and drugs used during labour. Based on the background above, the problem formulation in this research is :What is the relationship between the level of knowledge of mothers of babies born with Asphyxia Neonatorum? How do mothers worry about babies born with Asphyxia Neonatorum? It is hoped that it can educate pregnant women about the health of their unborn babies and carry out various positive activities to provide health services and health education to pregnant women about baby asphyxia, especially community health centers which play an active role in examining pregnant women. Method: This study quantitative research design with a questionnaire. The research design used analytical survey using cross-sectional. Abstract

Background: Shivering events during June - August 2022 obtained an average number of cesarean section actions of 106 - 110 actions per month. Of these, 53 people or 49.05% of sectio caesaria patients experienced shivering. There are several factors that can influence the incidence of shivering including age, length of operation, exposure to cold temperatures, LILA, and needle size. Objective: To determine the factors that cause shivering in sectio caesaria patients with spinal anesthesia at Banyumas Hospital. Methods: This research is a type of analytic observational study with a cross sectional approach with a random sampling technique and obtained a sample of 40 sectio caesarea patients. The analysis used is Logistic Regression. Results: There is a significant relationship between length of operation (p 0.019), operating room temperature (p 0.004), LILA (p 0.030). Conclusion: The most dominant factor affecting the incidence of shivering is body temperature (p 0.008; OR 13.1).
