Abstract

UMKM memainkan peran penting dalam penguatan ekonomi lokal, khususnya di wilayah perkotaan seperti Kota Batam. Studi ini mengkaji strategi bisnis dan operasional CV. Berkah Artha, sebuah usaha jasa bordir yang telah menciptakan keunggulan kompetitif melalui efisiensi dan inovasi layanan. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, memanfaatkan data primer dan sekunder. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa CV. Berkah Artha berhasil meningkatkan kualitas layanan melalui penggunaan teknologi digital, pengelolaan pesanan yang efisien, dan strategi pemasaran berbasis media sosial. Tantangan seperti fluktuasi permintaan dan pasokan bahan diatasi dengan diversifikasi sumber bahan dan inovasi sistem manajemen. Studi ini menawarkan wawasan strategis bagi UMKM untuk meningkatkan daya saing melalui inovasi layanan, efisiensi operasional, dan penguatan pemasaran digital.

Abstract

The use of "Electronic Human Resource Management" (E-HRM) helps companies become more efficient as a result of the fierce competition among them to recruit and retain professional staff. However, it was found that there was an issue that the adoption of this system was not uniform in various companies, which caused a gap in the effectiveness of its use. This study aims to analyze the relationship between antecedents, behavioral intentions, E-HRM use, and E-HRM effectiveness. The research method implemented was in the form of a qualitative method, by raising the population in the form of all HR who have used E-HRM in a company located in Batam City, by sampling through purposive sampling, to obtain a sample of 280. The results of the study highlight the importance of fostering an organizational environment that supports and ensures employee readiness to optimize E-HRM results. The results of the hypothesis test indicate that performance expectancy and effort expectancy have a significant positive effect on behavioral intention. Performance expectancy had a significant positive effect on E-HRM usage, but effort expectancy could not show a significant effect on E-HRM Usage. Directly, E-HRM Efficacy Level is influenced by variables such as Performance expectancy, behavioral intention, and E-HRM usage, but cannot be directly influenced by Effort Expectancy.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Di tengah kemajuan teknologi dan digitalisasi, layanan transportasi online menjadi kebutuhan esensial di Kota Batam, mendukung mobilitas dan menciptakan lapangan kerja. Namun, stres kerja dan ketidakpastian kesejahteraan menjadi tantangan serius yang mengancam kesehatan dan kinerja pengemudi ojek online. Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh stres kerja dan pemberian reward terhadap komitmen organisasi dan kinerja pengemudi, serta mengevaluasi peran mediasi komitmen organisasi. Tujuan penelitian adalah memberikan wawasan bagi perusahaan transportasi online dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan dan efektivitas kerja pengemudi. Populasi penelitian ini adalah pengemudi ojek online di Kota Batam dengan jumlah tidak diketahui, sehingga digunakan metode rasio 1:10 untuk menentukan jumlah sampel berdasarkan 26 butir pertanyaan, menghasilkan total 260 responden. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner cetak yang diisi secara langsung dan kemudian diinput ke Google Form. Analisis data menggunakan Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Hasil menunjukkan bahwa stres kerja berdampak negatif signifikan terhadap kinerja, sementara reward berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja dan komitmen organisasi. Namun, komitmen organisasi tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja maupun sebagai mediator hubungan antara stres kerja, reward, dan kinerja.

Abstract

In today’s multigenerational workforce, managing diversity has become a strategic challenge for sustaining organizational performance, particularly in industrial zones such as Batam City. This study investigates the effect of diversity management on organizational performance among Generation Y and Z employees, with organizational climate as a mediating factor. A total of 280 employees aged 15–45 years participated as respondents, selected through purposive sampling to represent Generations Y and Z. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire and analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings show that diversity management significantly enhances organizational performance directly and indirectly through organizational climate. The results also confirm that diversity management positively shapes organizational climate, contributing to higher performance levels. These findings highlight the critical role of inclusive practices and supportive work climates in transforming generational diversity into innovation, engagement, and productivity. Theoretically, this study contributes by integrating diversity management and organizational climate frameworks into a unified model. Practically, it guides organizations in industrial clusters to implement inclusive strategies that optimize the potential of Generation Y and Z employees in achieving sustainable performance.

Abstract

Post-COVID-19 pandemic, the hospitality industry faces a major challenge to integrate technologies that support efficiency and sustainability, including the adoption of e-HRM (electronic Human Resource Management) systems in support of Green HRM (GHRM). This study aims to examine the influence of perceived ease of use (PEOU) and perceived usefulness (PU) e-HRM on the successful implementation of GHRM in the four-star hospitality sector in Batam, with attitudes towards use (ATU) as a mediating variable. The research is quantitative with a survey method using a questionnaire of 238 hotel employees who were selected by purposive sampling. The analysis was carried out using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method based on Partial Least Squares (PLS). The results show that PEOU and PU have a significant influence on the success of GHRM, both directly and through ATU. However, PU did not show any significant influence on the ATU. These findings indicate that the perception of ease of use of the system is more important in building a positive attitude than the direct benefits felt. In conclusion, the implementation of e-HRM designed with easy access and intuitive features can strengthen employees' commitment to the company's sustainability initiatives through GHRM.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh lingkungan kerja dan kompetensi terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan motivasi sebagai variabel mediasi. Lingkungan kerja dan kompetensi merupakan variabel dependen dalam penelitian ini. Sedangkan variabel independen adalah kinerja kerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan variabel mediasi yaitu motivasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini merupakan karyawan klinik kecantikan di kota Batam. Sampel penelitian ini ditentukan berdasarkan teknik random sampling dimana dalam memperoleh sampel penelitian ini menggunakan teknik probability sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mengirimkan kuesioner Google Form kepada responden. Terdapat sebanyak 261 responden yang digunakan sebagai sampel dalam penelitian ini. Data penelitian ini diolah menggunakan PLS-SEM (Partial Least Squares - Structural Equation Modelling) untuk menguji hipotesis yang menyatakan ada pengaruh antara setiap variabel penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa lingkungan kerja tidak mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan, sedangkan kompetensi dan motivasi mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan. Hasil penelitian ini juga membuktikan bahwa lingkungan kerja dan kompetensi mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan dengan motivasi sebagai variabel mediasi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi hubungan antara Organizational Climate and Culture, Innovative Organization, dan Attitudes Towards e-HRM. Data dikumpulkan dari berbagai perusahaan untuk menguji sejauh mana budaya dan iklim organisasi memengaruhi tingkat inovasi di perusahaan melalui sikap karyawan terhadap teknologi HR elektronik. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Organizational Climate and Culture memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap Innovative Organization, dengan dimediasi oleh Attitudes Towards e-HRM. Ini menandakan bahwa budaya dan iklim organisasi yang mendukung inovasi dapat mendorong perusahaan untuk mencapai tingkat inovasi yang lebih tinggi. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa perusahaan dapat memanfaatkan budaya dan iklim organisasi yang positif untuk meningkatkan inovasi.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of the implementation of e-HRM, the use of technology and information, HR services and the quality of innovation on employee productivity and job satisfaction. This research was conducted on the banking sector in the city of Tanjungpinang, Riau Islands Province, Indonesia. The respondents to this study were 250 who were bank employees in the city of Tanjungpinang. The questions in this research questionnaire are 34 questions that cover all research variables and are filled out through a google form. The research data was processed by analysis using SPSS. The results of this study show that the use of ICT and the quality of innovation used by employees in working have a positive effect on work productivity and job satisfaction. Meanwhile, the implementation of eHRM and the quality of HR services do not have a significant impact on employee work productivity.

Abstract

This study analyzes factors influencing the job satisfaction of hotel employees in the tourism sector, focusing on innovation and employees’ active role in shaping their work environment. The study involves employees of 1- to 3-star hotels in Batam City, with 352 respondents selected through probability sampling. Data were collected through a 33-item Google Form questionnaire and analyzed using the PLS method with SmartPLS 4.0. The results show that job crafting and innovative work behavior do not directly affect job satisfaction but influence organizational support and employee engagement. Organizational support and employee engagement significantly affect job satisfaction and act as mediators in the relationship between job crafting and innovative work behavior with job satisfaction. Thus, employee job satisfaction cannot be built solely through job crafting or innovation but must be supported by organizational support and employee engagement. Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) sebagai upaya meningkatkan kinerja dan kedisiplinan karyawan pada Yayasan Dikdasmen Muhammadiyah Batu Aji. Permasalahan utama mitra terletak pada belum tersusunnya SOP tertulis yang mengatur pelaksanaan kerja secara menyeluruh, sehingga menimbulkan ketidakteraturan jam kerja, ketidakjelasan pembagian tugas, serta rendahnya disiplin karyawan. Metode kegiatan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif melalui tahapan observasi, wawancara, penyusunan SOP, sosialisasi, dan evaluasi. Evaluasi dilaksanakan menggunakan kuesioner berbasis Google Form untuk menilai tingkat pemahaman dan penerimaan karyawan terhadap SOP yang diterapkan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa penerapan SOP meningkatkan keteraturan kerja, rasa keadilan, kejelasan tugas, dan tanggung jawab karyawan. Kinerja organisasi menjadi lebih tertata, dan konflik internal dapat diminimalkan. SOP yang disusun mencakup aspek operasional utama, termasuk pengelolaan mini bank, pelayanan pendidikan, keamanan, kebersihan, dan tata tertib umum. Kegiatan ini menjadi bukti bahwa SOP berperan strategis dalam meningkatkan efektivitas manajemen sumber daya manusia dalam lembaga pendidikan. Dengan demikian, penyusunan SOP dapat direkomendasikan sebagai langkah konkret dalam memperbaiki tata kelola organisasi pendidikan berbasis praktik.
