Abstract

The utilization of vegetable waste as a raw material for liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) is an eco-friendly innovation that can enhance soil fertility and plant growth. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of LOF derived from vegetable waste from Banyuasri Market, Buleleng Regency, on the growth of shallots (Allium cepa). The study employed a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with three treatments: Formula A (liquid concentration at 2 ml/L), Formula B (liquid concentration at 5 mL/L), and a control group (without LOF). The observed parameters included leaf length and the number of leaves over a six-week observation period. The results showed that LOF treatments (Formula A and B) led to better shallot growth compared to the control group. The average leaf length in Formula A reached 45 cm, Formula B 40 cm, while the control group only achieved 30 cm. Similarly, the number of leaves followed the same trend, with Formula A producing approximately 20 leaves, Formula B 18-19 leaves, and the control group only 15 leaves. These findings indicate that LOF derived from vegetable waste significantly enhances the vegetative growth of shallots compared to plants that did not receive additional treatment. In conclusion, the application of LOF from vegetable waste can serve as an effective organic fertilizer alternative to improve shallot growth with best concentration at 5 mL/L. The use of LOF from vegetable waste also has the potential to reduce environmental pollution while promoting sustainable agricultural productivity.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan e-module IPA berbentuk flipbook bermuatan karakter toleransi pada materi pewarisan sifat kelas IX SMP serta mengetahui tingkat kevalidan dan kepraktisannya. Penelitian menggunakan model ADDIE yang dilaksanakan hanya sampai tahap development. Tahap analisis mencakup identifikasi kebutuhan guru dan peserta didik, kajian kurikulum, serta penelaahan terhadap nilai-nilai karakter toleransi. Tahap desain dilakukan dengan menyusun e-module sesuai struktur modul dan mengintegrasikan nilai toleransi dalam setiap bagian materi. Tahap pengembangan mencakup uji validitas kepada dua orang dosen Pendidikan IPA serta uji kepraktisan yang dilakukan oleh tiga guru IPA dan sepuluh peserta didik kelas IX. Hasil validasi menunjukkan kategori sangat valid dengan skor 1,00. Nilai tersebut menandakan bahwa e-module yang dikembangkan telah sesuai dari aspek media, isi dan bahasa. Selain itu, hasil uji kepraktisan memperoleh skor 74,7 oleh guru dan 43,6 oleh peserta didik yang keduanya berada pada kategori sangat praktis. Skor tersebut mengindikasikan e-module dapat digunakan oleh peserta didik dan guru dalam kegiatan pembelajaran dengan mudah. Sehingga, e-module berbentuk flipbook yang mengintegrasikan karakter toleransi dinyatakan sesuai untuk digunakan sebagai alternatif sumber belajar tambahan dalam pembelajaran IPA.

Abstract

Desa Terunyan merupakan desa Bali Aga di kawasan Geowisata Gunung Batur yang menghadapi permasalahan kekeringan dan kerentanan longsor. Program Kosabangsa 2024 diterapkan dengan pendekatan Participatory Action Learning System (PALS) melalui dua mitra utama: Kelompok Tani “Taru Menyan” pada bidang pertanian dan Sekaha Teruna-Teruni “Yowana Kerti” pada mitigasi bencana. Metode pendekatan pelaksanaan yang digunakan bagi kelompok mitra pertama yaitu PALS (Participatory Action Learning System) berdasarkan teori Mayoux disajikan. Tahapan kegiatan meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan, penerapan teknologi, pendampingan, dan penguatan kelembagaan, dengan indikator keberhasilan setiap tahap terukur. Inovasi yang diterapkan meliputi pompa air 25 HP, sistem irigasi IoT, early warning system longsor, dan pengembangan wisata geopark. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan produktivitas pertanian 25%, efisiensi air 35%, serta peningkatan kesiapsiagaan bencana. Program ini membentuk model smart eco-geopark village berbasis teknologi hijau dan kearifan lokal yang dapat direplikasi di desa rawan bencana lainnya. Implikasinya memperkuat arah riset dalam bidang pembangunan desa berbasis teknologi hijau (green technology) dan ketahanan iklim (climate resilience).

Abstract

CCR is a virtual classroom that can be used for online learning and assessment. By learning to use CCR media can improve communication skills and learning outcomes. This study aims to examine the effect of using CCR on science material, especially energy, on communication skills and learning outcomes for seventh grade Junior High School students. This research is a quasi-experimental research with a post-test only control group design. The sample of this study was class VII B as the experimental class and class control class VII D. The research instrument used was a questionnaire sheet to measure communication skills and tests were used to measure learning outcomes. The data obtained were analyzed using statistical tests. The results of data analysis on communication skills were normally distributed, so that the independent sample t-test was continued to obtain a value that had a significant difference in the average score of the communication skills questionnaire of the experimental class and control class. Furthermore, the right-hand t-test was performed. The results of data analysis on learning outcomes were normally distributed so that the independent sample t-test continued to obtain a significant value for the average score of the student learning outcomes in the experimental class and the control class. Furthermore, the right-hand t-test was carried out. It can be concluded that CCR has an effect on communication skills and learning outcomes can be seen from the results of questionnaires, observations and the average score of learning outcomes.
