Abstract

The POE2WE learning model is a learning model developed to determine students' understanding of a concept with a constructivist approach. Hands on activity is an activity designed to involve students in seeking information and asking questions, doing activities and finding, collecting data and analyzing, and making their own conclusions. The purpose of this study was to analyze the application of the hand on activity-based POE2WE model to critical thinking skills. This research uses literature study method. The research was conducted by collecting secondary data from articles relevant to the topic under study. The data were analyzed and concluded. The results of the synthesis of relevant research indicate that the Hands On Activity learning model is effective for critical thinking and is active in social interaction. In addition, POE2WE learning will make it easier for teachers by involving students to be more active, and reflecting on new understandings according to the initial knowledge possessed by students.

Abstract

This study aims to measure students' understanding of the concept of  This study aims to measure students' conceptual understanding of quantum phenomena with the help of the quizizz application evaluation media. The research method uses descriptive methods. Learning evaluation using quizziz helps improve students' understanding of quantum phenomena. The understanding of students is 52% with an understanding level of understanding, 5% for understanding very understanding and 43% understanding enough. Learning evaluation using quizziz can be used by educators as an alternative ICT-based learning media to be utilized as much as possible to achieve learning objectives

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the explanation of time dilation according to scientific theory and the Qur'an, and to analyze the application of video with the POE2WE model. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with a literature review technique. The results of this study indicate that according to scientific theory time dilation is the time difference due to relative motion. Two observers moving relative to each other will experience a time difference. In several verses of the Qur'an Allah explains that one day according to Allah is equal to a thousand years according to human calculations. This shows that before Einstein discovered the theory of relativity, the Qur'an had long explained the phenomenon. The application of video with the POE2WE model in time dilation physics learning material is very suitable to be applied. The videos are presented in an interesting way so that they are not boring and are not centered on the teacher as a source of information.

Abstract

Mathematics learning often poses challenges due to low student interest, resulting in reduced participation and outcomes. This study aims to enhance students' learning interest through the application of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) assisted by Kahoot. Using a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach, the study was conducted in two cycles, each comprising planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Results showed an increase in students' learning interest from 51% (low) in the pre-cycle to 67% (moderate) in Cycle I, and 81% (high) in Cycle II. The findings demonstrate the effectiveness of PBL assisted by Kahoot in fostering interest and engagement in mathematics. Teachers are encouraged to integrate gamified tools like Kahoot and tailor learning strategies to students' needs.

Abstract

Abstract Learning media has a big role in helping students understand the material being studied. However, without teaching materials and other supporting tools, students often experience difficulties, especially when learning story problems in math. Therefore, teachers need to provide effective media to convey the material. At one of the MTS in Semarang Regency, the utilization of utilization of mathematics learning media is not optimal; the media applied is still in the form of printed LKS books, which are not sufficient. Learning media is needed that can be used both in class and for self-study. This research is intended to design an AIR-based E-LKPD through an ethnomathematics approach on the topic of comparison. comparison. The type of research applied in this study is Research and Development (RnD) using the ADDIE development model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation), but within the limitations of the development stage. Data were collected through observation, interviews, expert validation sheets, and documentation. The results of this study include E-LKPD design and its validity according to experts. Based on the assessment of the material experts, the E-LKPD achieved an average score of 89% in the highly valid category, and from media experts 85%, also with a very valid category. Overall, E-LKPD achieved an average score of 88% and was rated as very valid, proving that the E-LKPD meets the validity criteria. E-LKPD meets the necessary validity criteria. Keywords: E-LKPD, AIR, Ethnomathematics, Learning Media Abstrak Media pembelajaran memiliki berperan besar dalam membantu peserta didik memahami materi yang dipelajari. Namun, tanpa adanya materi ajar dan alat pendukung lainnya, peserta didik sering mengalami kesulitan, terutama saat mempelajari soal cerita dalam matematika. Karena itu, guru perlu menyediakan media yang efektif untuk menyampaikan materi. Di salah satu MTS di Kabupaten Semarang , pemanfaatan media pembelajaran matematika belum optimal; media yang diterapkan masih berupa buku LKS cetak, yang tidak cukup memadai. Diperlukan media pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan baik dalam kelas maupun untuk belajar mandiri. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan guna merancang E-LKPD berbasis AIR melalui pendekatan etnomatematika pada topik perbandingan. Jenis penelitian yang diterapkan pada studi ini adalah Research and Development (RnD) menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation), tetapi dalam batasan pada tahap development (pengembangan). Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, lembar validasi ahli, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari studi ini meliputi desain E-LKPD dan validitasnya menurut ahli. Berdasarkan penilaian dari ahli materi, E-LKPD mencapai nilai rata-rata 89% dalam kategori yang sangat valid, dan dari ahli media 85%, juga dengan kategori sangat valid. Secara keseluruhan, E-LKPD mencapai nilai rata-rata 88% dan dinilai sangat valid, membuktikan bahwa E-LKPD memenuhi kriteria validitas yang diperlukan. Abstract

Bahasa Indonesia: Perkembangan teknologi yang pesat di era ini membawa perubahan signifikan dalam dunia pendidikan. Salah satu penerapan teknologi dalam pendidikan adalah media pembelajaran digital, seperti Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik Elektronik (E-LKPD), yang dapat digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi tanggapan guru dan siswa terhadap tingkat kepraktisan penggunaan E-LKPD sebagai media pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif, dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dan penyebaran angket kuesioner. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari guru matematika dan 32 siswa kelas VII di salah satu MTS di Kabupaten Semarang, Indonesia. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa respon guru terhadap E-LKPD mencapai 89% dengan kategori "Sangat Praktis," sementara siswa memberikan penilaian 90% dengan kategori yang sama. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa E-LKPD sangat praktis digunakan sebagai alat pembelajaran matematika. Bahasa Inggris: The rapid development of technology in this era has brought significant changes in the world of education. One of the applications of technology in education is digital learning media, such as Electronic Student Worksheets (E-LKPD), which can be used in learning activities. This study aims to evaluate the responses of teachers and students to the level of practicality of using E-LKPD as a learning medium. The method used is quantitative descriptive research, with data collection through interviews and distributing questionnaires. The subjects of this study consisted of mathematics teachers and 32 grade VII students at one of the MTS in Semarang Regency, Indonesia. The evaluation results showed that the teacher response to E-LKPD reached 89% with the category "Very Practical," while students gave an assessment of 90% with the same category. Based on these results, it can be concluded that E-LKPD is very practical to use as a mathematics learning tool.

Abstract

Classroom Action Research (CAR) enables teachers to enhance teaching quality and student achievement. In Tasikmalaya Regency, however, many teachers need help to develop CAR effectively, impacting learning outcomes. To address this, a CAR training program utilizing the POE2WE (Predict, Observe, Explain, Elaborate, Write, Evaluate) model was implemented through the Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, fostering active teacher engagement. The training, targeting high school teachers in Tasikmalaya, focused on equipping participants to develop high-quality CAR. Results indicated significant improvements in teacher competence, with participants achieving high ratings in critical skills: discussion activity (3.8), prediction formulation (3.7), and self-evaluation (3.9). Over 90% of participants expressed satisfaction with training materials, instructor competency, and the applicability of theory to practice. These findings underscore the value of structured CAR skills enhancement for educational development in Tasikmalaya and beyond, recommending that future programs adopt adaptable models to meet evolving teacher needs in classroom outcomes.Top of Form

Abstract

In recent years, fostering critical thinking skills in students has become a priority in higher education, particularly in physics courses where analytical thinking is essential. This research aimed to develop an e-module based on the discovery learning model using Wizer.me to optimize students' critical thinking skills in basic physics courses with valid and practical criteria. This research uses research and development (R&D) methods with McKenney's development model. The data in this research are needs analysis data, validation data, and practicality data. The research instrument consisted of analysis sheets, validity, and practicality questionnaires. The data analysis technique uses descriptive percentages. Based on the research results, the e-module based on the discovery learning model using Wizer.me has been proven valid and practical in optimizing students' critical thinking skills in basic physics courses. This e-module can be implemented as an effective learning tool to enhance students' critical thinking abilities.

Abstract

Literasi adalah kemampuan individu dalam memanfaatkan potensi dan keterampilan untuk memahami serta mengelola informasi dalam aktivitas sehari-hari, seperti membaca, menulis, berhitung, dan menyelesaikan masalah. Dalam pembelajaran matematika, literasi matematika merupakan kompetensi penting yang harus dimiliki siswa. Namun, tingkat literasi Negara Indonesia masih dikategorikan rendah. Tercermin dari hasil tes Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) dua periode terakhir, yang menunjukkan skor Indonesia di bawah rata-rata negara anggota Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). Pada PISA 2018, skor literasi sains Indonesia mencapai 379, menempatkan Indonesia di peringkat 74 dari 79 negara. Pada PISA 2022 yang diumumkan pada 5 Desember 2023, skor turun menjadi 366 poin, atau 106 poin di bawah rata-rata global, dengan peringkat 70 dari 81 negara peserta. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan studi pustaka (literature review) guna menganalisis indikator, pengaruh, dan menyusun cara meningkatkan kemampuan literasi matematika serta menyesuaikannya dengan gaya belajar siswa. Berdasarkan temuan studi sebelumnya, literasi memiliki dampak signifikan terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa.
