Abstract

The purpose of this research is to be able to see how the comparison of their activeness in carrying out the teaching and learning process. This research uses the type of field research (field research) with the type of comparative quantitative research. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire distributed to several respondents. Furthermore, the data analysis technique performs steps such as finding the mains of each variable, looking for the standard deviation of each variable, and also looking for the t test. The results showed that the average PAI learning activity of students with an MTsN educational background was 93.09 with a percentage of 93% and students with a junior high school background of 94.09 with a percentage of 94% with a difference or comparison of a percentage of 1.09%. students with a junior high school background are more active than students with an MTs background, this is evidenced by the t test obtained by 1.65, which is greater than the t table with a significant level of 5% with a magnitude of 0.288 or 1.65 > 0.288 this result also shows that students with a junior high school background are more active than students with an MTs background.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low reading culture of students towards religious books. The school has made efforts to develop the reading culture of its students. This study aims to determine how the strategy of developing a culture of reading books at school by teachers of religious subjects such as al-Qur'an hadith, akidah akhlak and what are the inhibiting factors of student reading culture at MAN 1 Pasaman. Through this type of research that uses a qualitative approach that describes the strategy of developing a student reading culture in improving religious literacy at MAN 1 Pasaman. This study obtained data through interviews with Al-Qur'an Hadith teachers in class XI and Akidah Akhlak teachers in classes X and XI which are the main data, then interviews with several students and observations as supporting data from the interview results. The results of the study show that the reading culture development strategies pursued by the school and carried out by teachers are not fully satisfactory and still have shortcomings. There are 5 strategies for developing a student reading culture, namely: mandatory visits to the library, reading activities 15 minutes before learning, procurement of mading, procurement of literacy corners, procurement of competitions entitled literacy. all strategies have been implemented,but there are still shortcomings. The inhibiting factors for students' reading culture are the lack of reading habits and the lack of awareness of thr importance of reading textbooks, environmental factors, namely from peers and from the family environment and lastly, the lack of use of facilities and infrastructure at school.,

Abstract

This study aims to describe the strategies of dormitory caregivers in fostering the morals of students at the Nurul Yaqin Siti Manggopoh Islamic Boarding School, Lubuk Basung District, Agam Regency. Through this type of research that uses a qualitative descriptive approach that explains the strategy of dormitory caregivers in fostering the morals of students at Pondok Pesantren Nurul Yaqin Siti Manggopoh Kecematan Lubuk Basung, Agam Regency. and observation for supporting data from interview results. The results of this study indicate that: first, the strategy of the hostel supervisor instills student discipline in congregational prayers at the Nurul Yaqin Siti Manggopoh Islamic Boarding School: a. the hostel supervisor makes rules in congregational prayers. b the supervisor of the hostel gives sanctions or punishments in congregational prayers. c the hostel supervisor gives a warning or reprimand. second, the obstacles faced by students so that they are negligent in carrying out congregational prayers at the Nurul Yaqin Siti Manggopoh Islamic Boarding School a. lack of facilities and infrastructure in the dormitory b. low student interest in carrying out congregational prayers c. lack of firmness within students to refuse friends' invitations not to pray congregation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya motivasi belajar peserta didik ketika proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Salah satu faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi motivasi belajar peserta didik adalah media pembelajaran. Media pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran salah satunya adalah media powtoon. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh media powtoon terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran SKI di Pondok Pesantren Modern Diniyyah Pasia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Quasi Experimental Design dengan design Nonequivalent Pretest-Protest Group Control Design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas IX di Pondok Pesantren Modern Diniyyah Pasia dengan jumlah populasi 100 peserta didik. Adapun sampel penelitian yaitu kelas IX.4 dengan jumlah 22 peserta didik, dan sebagai kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan media powtoon dan kelas IX.1 dengan jumlah 24 peserta didik, dan sebagai kelas kontrol yang masih menggunakan media PowerPoint. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Uji Normalitas, Uji Homogenitas, Uji-Ngain dan Uji Hipotesis. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa hasil hipotesis yang memperoleh nilai sig. (2-tailed) (0,040) < nilai taraf signifikan (0,05). Dan peningkatan motivasi belajar peserta didik kelas ekperimen dengan N-gain sebesar 0,92 dikategorikan tinggi. Maka, dari hasil data pengujian tersebut dikatakan H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima, sehingga disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh media powtoon terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik di Pondok Pesantren Modern Diniyyah Pasia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Kahoot media on student learning outcomes in Aqidah Akhlak learning in class X MAN 1 Padang Pariaman. The method used is quasi-experiment with Time Series Design and quantitative approach. The study population included 256 grade X students, with samples of class X.I as the control class and X.VI as the experimental class, each totaling 36 students, who were selected by simple randomization. Data were collected through an objective test with 25 questions. The results showed that the average student learning outcomes in the experimental class using Kahoot media reached 75.44%, higher than the control class of 67.89%. Hypothesis testing using SPSS 22.0 resulted in a significant value of 0.045 (α < 0.05), indicating that the use of Kahoot media significantly improved Aqidah Akhlak student learning outcomes. Thus, the research hypothesis is accepted.

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah yang berkaitan dengan peranan orangtua dalam memotivasi anak melaksankan shalat lima waktu di Jorong Bungo Tanjuang Kenagarian Sungai Janiah. Hal ini akan digali atau dicari informasi mengenai apa yang membuat anak di Jorong Bungo Tanjuang Kenagarian Sungai Janiah itu banyak yang meninggalkan shalat dan ada juga yang tidak melakukan shalat limawaktu. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif jenis deskriptif, dengan menggunakan informan kunci orangtua. Informan pendukung dalam penelitian ini adalah anak yang ada di Jorong Bungo Tanjuang Kenagarian Sungai Janiah. Dalam pengumpulan data, pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi dan wawancara. Adapun teknik analisi data yang di gunakan adalah menelah seluruh data, reduksi, penyajian data. Adapun teknik keabsahan data yaitu membandingkan data hasil pengamat dengan data hasil wawancara, membandingkan data yang dikatan orangtua dengan data yang dikatakan anak.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa malasnya anak shalat yang ada di Jorong Bungo Tanjuang Kenagarian Sungai Janiah, dikarenakan kurangnya peranan orangtua dalam memotivasi anaknya untuk shalat. Orangtua hanya mengingatkan tetapi tidak melihat apakah anak itu benar-benar sudah melakukan atau belum melakukan shalat.

Abstract

This research aims to understand and analyze the strengthening of Minang cultural values "Sumbang Duo Baleh" through the Annisa Forum at MAN 2 Bukittinggi. The research used a qualitative descriptive approach with the main informants namely the Annisa Forum supervisor and supporting informants such as curriculum representatives and Annisa Forum students. Data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation, then analyzed using data reduction techniques, data presentation and data withdrawal, as well as using triangulation to ensure the validity of the data. The research results show that the Annisa Forum has succeeded in strengthening Minang cultural values, especially in the aspects of Sumbang Kato, Sumbang Bagaua, and Sumbang Kurenah. Supporting factors in its implementation include support from the government, community, parents, school environment and peers, while the inhibiting factor is the lack of motivation from the students themselves.

Abstract

The author's background in conducting this research is the problem of polite character education. The aims of this study were: 1) To find out the Implementation of Polite Character Education for Grade VIII Students to Teachers at MTsS Irsyadul Wathan Nagari Baruah Gunuang 2) To find out the Implementation of Polite Character Education for Grade VIII Students to Friends at MTsS Irsyadul Wathan Nagari Baruah Gunuang. This research is an empirical research using a source of knowledge obtained from observation and also findings in the field, using a qualitative approach. The author's data collection is done by observation, interviews and documentation. The key informants in this study were students and supporting informants, namely principals and teachers at MTsS Irsyadul Wathan. As for data analysis using data reduction, data presentation and temporary conclusions in this study using data triagulation. Based on the results of the study it can be found that, the implementation of character education of class VIII students' courtesy towards the teacher 1. Students' polite attitude in respecting the teacher, 2. Students sit politely and speak respectfully, 3. Students listen to the teacher when talking and do not interrupt the teacher's conversation. 3. Shiva does not offend the teacher. While the implementation of politeness character education for class VIII students to friends is 1. Students say hello every time they meet friends, 2. Avoid hostility with friends, 3. Insult and belittle friends, 4. Forgive each other if they forget or accidentally make mistakes, 5 Advise friends if there are friends who are stingy and arrogant.

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah kondisi kecerdasan spiritual siswa yang masih jauh dari nilai-nilai keislaman. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan masih banyaknya peserta didik yang lalai dalam shalat dan sering mengundurkan waktu shalat, siswa yang tidak ikut serta dalam pelaksanaan shalat zhuhur berjamaah, siswa yang kurang pandai dalam baca tulis al-qur’an, siswa yang masih banyak berbicara kasar sesama teman serta siswa yang tidak amanah dalam menjalankan tugas yang diberikan kepada siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian deskritif kualitatif. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan ialah menggunakan observasi langsung ke sekolah dengan cara melihat kreativitas guru Pendidikan Agama Islam mengembangkan kecerdasan spiritual siswa di kelas VII, wawancara dengan guru Pendidikan Agama Islam, Wakil Kurikulum dan Siswa kelas VII serta dokumentasi seperti RPP dan Absebsi Shalat Dhuha dan Shalat Zhuhur siswa kelas VII. Adapun analisis data dilakukan dengan menelaah seluruh data, kemudian melakukan penyeleksian kembali terhadap data yang ada, kemudian melakukan display data, verifikasi data dan mengklarifikasikan data yang telah didapat. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, menunjukkan bahwa kreativitas yang dilakukan guru Pendidikan Agama Islam memiliki rasa ingin tahu terhadap siswa, mengajukan pertanyaan berbobot, memberikan gagasan dan usulan terhadap suatu masalah, mempunyai daya imajinasi, dan mengembangkan atau merinci suatu gagasan. Selain itu ditemukan faktor penghambat dan faktor pendukung dalam mengembangkan kecerdasan spiritual siswa, faktor penghambat yaitu siswa yang cepat terpengaruh terhadap lingkungan tempat bergaul dan juga kebiasaan siswa atau lingkungan sekitar. Faktor pendukung dalam mengembangkan kecerdasan spiritual siswa yaitu pihak keluarga, pihak sekolah, serta adanya sarana dan prasarana dan respon siswa yang begitu baik.

Abstract

This research proposes the use of a decision support system based on the Profile Matching method to determine the thesis supervisor. This method is effective in making decisions that are in accordance with the concentration of the thesis title, functional position, and educational level of the lecturer. This research refers to the concept of a decision support system that offers several alternative choices to assist management in making decisions efficiently. The Profile Matching method is carried out with the stages of variable weighting, factor grouping, and total value calculation. This research also refers to related studies that have been conducted previously to build a more effective and efficient system in determining supervisors. The research method used is Research and Development with a waterfall System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) model. The results showed that the use of a decision support system with the Profile Matching method can provide recommendations for supervisors in accordance with the criteria set. Product testing using Aiken's V and ISO/IEC 25010 standards also shows that this system is feasible to use with good validity values and quality that meets standards. In conclusion, the decision support system with the Profile Matching method can help speed up and improve efficiency in determining thesis supervisors in the PTIK study program at UIN Sjech M.Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi. Suggestions for further development are to consider integration with web technology for ease of access and use.
