Abstract

Air asam tambang (AAT) merupakan salah satu dampak negatif dari kegiatan penambangan batubara yang memiliki potensi mencemari lingkungan jika tidak dikelola dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas penggunaan kapur tohor (CaO) dalam menaikkan pH air limbah tambang pada Settling Pond 14 milik PT. Marunda Grahamineral di Kecamatan Laung Tuhup, Kabupaten Murung Raya, Kalimantan Tengah. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif melalui percobaan laboratorium dengan dua metode perlakuan, yaitu pengadukan dan tanpa pengadukan. Sampel air diambil dari kolam pengapuran (kolam 4) dan diuji dengan variasi dosis kapur tohor (0,1–0,8 gram/200 ml) untuk menentukan dosis optimal yang mampu mencapai pH sesuai baku mutu (pH 6–9). Hasil menunjukkan bahwa metode pengadukan selama 2 menit dengan dosis 0,5 gram/200 ml dapat menaikkan pH dari 3,34 menjadi 6,30, sedangkan metode tanpa pengadukan dengan dosis 0,7 gram/200 ml selama 15 menit mampu meningkatkan pH menjadi 6,15. Berdasarkan perhitungan kebutuhan, kolam berkapasitas 1.597.500 liter memerlukan 3.994 kg kapur tohor untuk metode pengadukan dan 5.592 kg untuk metode tanpa pengadukan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa metode pengadukan lebih efisien dalam hal dosis dan waktu. Rekomendasi bagi penelitian selanjutnya adalah untuk memperluas parameter pengujian mencakup TSS, Fe, dan Mn, serta melakukan implementasi langsung di lapangan.. Abstract

Pada kondisi dengan curah hujan tinggi atau ekstrem, pit 23 tergenang akibat meluapnya sump dan tidak dapat menahan air akibat pemompaan yang kurang optimal, sehingga mengganggu kegiatan produksi di pit 23 CV. Bunda Kandung. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui debit air total yang direncanakan, dan mengetahui dimensi dan volume sump yang direncanakan di pit 23 CV. Bunda Kandung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif. Tahapan analisis data yang dilakukan adalah menghitung debit air total yang masuk, menentukan volume dan dimensi sump. Curah hujan maksimal terjadi pada tahun 2021, tepatnya pada bulan Oktober, yaitu sebesar 187 mm/hari. Daerah tangkapan air hujan pit 23 adalah 8,33 Ha. Curah hujan yang direncanakan sebesar 168,667 mm. Intensitas curah hujan 58,473 mm/jam. Debit air limpasan sebesar 4.037,920 m³/jam dan debit air hujan sebesar 17.471,975 m³/jam. Total debit air sebesar 21.509,896 m³/jam. Desain dimensi sump yang direkomendasikan dengan luas 2.339,60 m² dan volume 24.458,06 m3. Kata kunci: Curah hujan rencana, catchment area, debit air total

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kedisiplinan pekerja dalam pemakaian APD sebelum dan sesudah penyuluhan K3 serta mengetahui pengaruhnya terhadap tingkat kedisiplinan pekerja dalam pemakaian APD di PT. Borneo Prima. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif bersifat deskriptif. Hasil kuesioner dari 32 responden diolah dan dianalisis dengan uji validitas dan realibilitas serta uji statistik Wilcoxon sign rank test. Tingkat kedisiplinan penggunaan APD sebelum dilakukan penyuluhan K3, 6,25% sangat disiplin, disiplin 53,12%, tidak disiplin 31,25% dan sangat tidak disiplin 9,37%. Setelah dilakukan penyuluhan K3 kedisiplinan mencapai 100% karena tingkat tidak disiplin pekerja tidak ada atau mencapai angka 0%. Ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara tingkat kedisiplinan sebelum diberi penyuluhan (pretest) dan kedisiplinan setelah diberi penyuluhan (posttest) dengan p-value 0.000 berdasarkan perhitungan menggunakan software spss, jadi hipotesis yang menyatakan ada pengaruh pemberian penyuluhan K3 terhadap tingkat kedisiplinan pekerja dalam menggunakan APD di PT. Borneo Prima terbukti. Kata kunci: Penyuluhan, APD, Persentase, Responden, Disiplin.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis biaya penggunaan kapur dan tawas dalam pengolahan air asam tambang di Settling pond 03, Pit Paku, PT. Rimau Energy Mining. Air asam tambang, hasil reaksi kimia antara mineral sulfida dan air, memerlukan penanganan khusus untuk mengurangi dampak lingkungan. Penggunaan kapur dan tawas bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pH dan menurunkan kekeruhan air asam tambang. Melalui percobaan laboratorium dengan berbagai dosis kapur dan tawas, penelitian ini menemukan dosis yang paling efektif untuk menetralkan air asam tambang, meningkatkan pH, dan menurunkan kekeruhan sesuai dengan baku mutu yang ditetapkan. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga menganalisis biaya yang diperlukan untuk setiap kombinasi dosis yang diuji, dengan hasil menunjukkan perbandingan biaya pengolahan berdasarkan dosis kapur dan tawas yang digunakan. Berdasarkan analisis biaya, ditemukan bahwa kombinasi dosis kapur dan tawas yang optimal menghasilkan biaya yang lebih efektif dibandingkan metode yang diterapkan sebelumnya.. Dosis yang efektif untuk menetralkan air asam tambang adalah 1 gram kapur dan 2 gram tawas per liter, yang berhasil menaikkan pH dari 3,88-4,13 menjadi 8,10-8,40, serta menurunkan kekeruhan dari 498-522 NTU menjadi 144,9-196,1 NTU.

Abstract

Art is useful for developing skills in children, because art fosters creativity in children. Creativity is an experience in expressing and actualizing individual identity that integrated  between relationships with oneself, nature, and others. Palangka Raya is considered to have the potential to be developed as one of the centers for the development of arts and cultural activities in the Central Kalimantan Province. Based on observations, the obstacle in carrying out the activities of the PDPSU is that there is no information for ordinary people  to learn the skill of drawing anime cartoons, while many elementary age children like to watch cartoons. From these shows, the majority of Panti Asuhan Amanda are interested in drawing anime cartoons. The inability of the group of children at the Panti Asuhan Amanda in Bukit Tunggal Village to draw anime cartoons is because they do not have knowledges of these skills. Based on the above problems, the PDPSU LPPM Team of Palangka Raya University supports by providing education related to skills. drawing anime cartoons. Education and skill development activities include: (1) preparation, observation; (2) location survey and coordination; (3) socialization and mentoring stages; and (4) evaluation stages. The results obtained from skill education in drawing anime cartoons are increased ability of Panti Asuhan Amanda’s children in drawing anime cartoons. It is hoped that this drawing skills education can develop fine motor skills, develop children's imagination, creativity and initiative and train children at Panti Asuhan Aamnda  to be able to express themselves and ideas more freely.

Abstract

SMKN-5 Palangka Raya has high dedication in improving the quality of education and developing student competencies. The Teaching Campus Program exists as an effort to support students in the learning process while facilitating their adaptation to technological developments. The main objective of the Batch 1 Teaching Campus Program is to provide support to teachers and staff in developing potential and improving school quality. This program includes counseling and training on the use of technology, such as teaching students about Word software, as well as teaching and coaching activities aimed at strengthening students' character. In addition, this program prioritizes cooperation to improve school quality and deepen understanding between students. The method applied in the Teaching Campus Program uses a qualitative approach. Various achievements that have been achieved during the implementation of the Batch 1 Teaching Campus Program include the creation of a reading corner, provision of toga plant racks, repair of school name signs and updating of writing in schools, implementation of literacy and numeracy activities, construction of rubbish bins, renewal of ceremonial equipment, as well as routine ceremonial training on Mondays and holidays. Apart from that, the activities carried out also included cleaning and painting the pool behind the school, making shelves for family medicinal plants, as well as training on the use of Microsoft Excel and Word to improve students' basic technology skills.

Abstract

PT. Barito Bangun Nusantara is a company engaged in coal exploration and production activities, where the production is temporarily stored in a stockpile area before being processed or distributed. Stockpile management requires attention to several important factors, such as area design and stockpiling methods, so that storage runs effectively and does not cause a decrease in coal quality. This study was conducted on old and new stockpiles with the aim of analyzing the actual stockpiling conditions and providing technical recommendations regarding the ideal stockpile capacity and configuration. The research methods included field observation, primary and secondary data collection, and descriptive quantitative analysis. The results showed that both stockpiles experienced inefficiencies due to excess capacity. The actual tonnage reached 49,191.98 tons, exceeding the planned capacity of 35,000 tons, with a stockpile height reaching 9 m. This condition caused long stacking times and the FIFO system did not operate optimally. The study recommended an ideal stockpile capacity of 30,740.61 tons, with a maximum height of 8 m. The recommended angle of repose for the old stockpile is 30°, with a capacity of 11,542.19 tons, while for the new stockpile, it's 34°, with a capacity of 19,198.42 tons. This arrangement is expected to allow for a smoother unloading process and a more ideal stockpile.

Abstract

Program Kampus Mengajar Mandiri merupakan bagian dari kebijakan Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi mahasiswa sekaligus membantu sekolah dalam mengatasi permasalahan pembelajaran, khususnya di era digital. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di SMKN 5 Palangka Raya dengan fokus pada peningkatan literasi, numerasi, adaptasi teknologi dan administrasi sekolah. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi observasi, pendampingan pembelajaran, serta evaluasi berbasis kuisioner. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa program ini efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan siswa, dengan tingkat kepuasan mencapai 85%. Program juga berdampak positif pada pengembangan keterampilan siswa seperti komunikasi, kepemimpinan dan kemampuan kolaborasi. Disimpulkan bahwa program Kampus Mengajar Mandiri efektif sebagai upaya peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran di sekolah vokasi.

Abstract

Takaras River is a river basin that is vulnerable to pollution, particularly from the mercury usage in small-scale gold mining. This study aims to identify water quality based on mercury (Hg)and pH levels in the Takaras River. Samples were taken at two locations using a purposive sampling method. Results showed indications of mercury use on former gold mining land around the Takaras River altought the mercury content level was below 0.075 µg/L or 0.00075 mg/L in sample 1 and 2. Based on the test results, the acidity level (pH) in the two water samples from Takaras River is 3.86 and 3.84 in sample 1 and 2, compared to the maximum pH quality standard of 6-9 for Class II water, it is concluded that the scale of acidity in Takaras River is very low, indicating that the water quality in the Takaras River is highly acidic, abnormal, and shows signs of serious pollution. The implications of low pH levels in the Takaras River can cause damage to the Takaras River ecosystem, a decline in soil quality and fertility, and an increase in heavy metal toxicity in the environment surrounding the river.

Abstract

The amalgamation and flotation methods are widely used by miners because the methods are simple, fast and easy. The purpose of this study was aims to test the effectiveness of gold recovery using the amalgamation and flotation methods in conventional gold processing. The research methods used were observation and testing using the amalgamation and flotation methods in conventional gold processing. The effectiveness analysis was carried out by calculating the percentage of gold produced in the amalgamation and flotation processing methods. The test was carried out on 10 samples, each weighing 10 kg. The amalgamation process used a Hg solution, while flotation used a detergent reagent. The total primary gold processing using the amalgamation method was 11.46 grams, while the total primary gold recovery using the flotation method was 12.15 grams. The results of gold processing using the flotation method were higher than those using amalgamation because flotation can separate gold more efficiently from ore containing various impurity minerals. Meanwhile, the amalgamation method, which uses mercury, tends to be less effective and loses some of the gold because it only binds very fine and dispersed gold particles, while flotation can handle ore with lower gold content and larger gold particles.
