Abstract

This research was made not only to find out scope of green area and total of carbon dioxide’s emission in Palangka Raya which can be absorbed by vegetation but also to find out suitability of land use of green area of Palangka Raya with necessity of green open space in Palangka Raya. The research was a description about environment condition in Palangka Raya which related to total of carbon dioxide’s emission and scope of vegetated land. The result of the research based on analysis of land cover and carbon dioxide absorption showed that scope of vegetated land in Palangka Raya was 219.498.7 hectares and it was still able to absorb all carbon dioxide’s emission amount to 387.366,248 tons which came from energy consumption and respiration of Palangka Raya’s inhabitants. Based on the extent of its region, urban area of Palangka Raya needed green open space (RTH) with wide to 14.096,1 hectares, based on the number of inhabitants was needed 581,84 hectares RTH which consisted of city park, city forest, median, river border and cemetery, based on equality of water use was needed 323,75 hectares RTH and based on carbon dioxide’s emission was needed 3.331,38 ha RTH. Based on suitability plan of land use of green area in urban area of Palangka Raya, there was lack of green open space. Sub district Pahandut lack of RTH based on extent of its district (-3.513,23 hectares), number of inhabitants (-244,85 hectares), need of water (-142,45 hectares) and carbon dioxide’s emission (-2.368,88 hectares) while sub district Jekan Raya lack of RTH based on extent of its district (-9.071,96 hectares) and carbon dioxide’s emission (-5.660,93 hectares). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui luas kawasan hijau dan jumlah emisi karbondioksida  yang mampu diserap oleh vegetasi serta untuk mengetahui kesesuaian tata ruang kawasan hijau Kota Palangka Raya dengan kebutuhan ruang terbuka hijau Kota Palangka Raya. Penelitian berupa deskripsi tentang keadaan lingkungan di Kota Palangka Raya yang berkaitan dengan jumlah emisi karbondioksida dan luas lahan bervegetasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan analisis tutupan lahan dan serapan karbondioksida, diketahui luas lahan bervegetasi di Kota Palangka Raya adalah 219.498,7 ha dan masih mampu menyerap seluruh emisi karbondioksida sejumlah 387.366,248 ton yang berasal dari konsumsi energi dan respirasi penduduk Kota Palangka Raya. Berdasarkan luas wilayah, kawasan perkotaan Kota Palangka Raya memerlukan RTH seluas 14.096,1 ha, berdasarkan jumlah penduduk diperlukan 581,84 ha RTH yang berupa taman kota, hutan kota, jalur hijau jalan, sempadan sungai dan pemakaman, berdasarkan kesetaraan penggunaan air diperlukan 323,75 ha RTH dan berdasarkan emisi karbondioksida diperlukan 3.331,38 ha RTH. Berdasarkan kesesuaian rencana tata ruang hijau kawasan perkotaan Kota Palangka Raya, diperoleh adanya kekurangan RTH. Kecamatan Pahandut kekurangan RTH berdasarkan luas wilayah (-3.513,23 ha), jumlah penduduk (-244,85 ha), kebutuhan air (-142,45 ha) dan emisi karbondioksida (-2.368,88 ha), sedangkan Kecamatan Jekan Raya kekurangan RTH berdasarkan luas wilayah (-8.936,96 ha) dan emisi karbondioksida (-2.849,04 ha).

Abstract

PT. IMK is located in Murung Raya Regency, Central Kalimantan Province, which is engaged in gold and silver mining with an area of 47.940 hectares contract. The purpose of this study is to assess the reclamation activities that have been done in the Serujan Pit. The implementation of reclamation in PT. IMK begins with the stage based on the decree of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Number : 1827 K/30/MEM/2018 on the guidelines of good mining engineering regulations. The parameters used in assessing the success of reclamation are land utilization, revegetation, and finishing. The results of the success criteria derive the score value and the weights used as the basis of the assessment. Based on the results of the reclamation assessment obtained by the total value of 93.33%, with a good category (reclamation results are acceptable).

Abstract

Desa Teluk Nyatu merupakan desa yang terletak di Kecamatan Kurun, Kabupaten Gunung Mas, Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah. Desa Teluk Nyatu belum memiliki peta administrasi wilayah yang terbaru dan memenuhi standar peta, seperti skala, indeks peta, dan keterangan peta. Kegiatan pemetaan untuk membuat peta administrasi wilayah Desa Teluk Nyatu agar pemerintah Desa Teluk Nyatu memiliki peta administrasi wilayah yang terbaru dan memenuhi standar. Kegiatan pemetaan ini dilaksanakan dengan metode pengambilan data langsung di lapangan, pengambilan data koordinat fasilitas desa, foto fasilitas sebagai pendukung. Kegiatan ini menghasilkan peta administrasi yang terbaru dengan standar peta yang sudah terpenuhi.

Abstract

Desa Tanjung Riu merupakan salah satu Desa di Kecamatan Kurun, Kabupaten Gunung Mas, Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah. Kawasan Desa Tanjung Riu memiliki potensi lahan dari bekas kegiatan pertambangan yang meninggalkan lubang bekas tambang (kolong) yang terisi air. Pemetaan lahan bekas pertambangan dilakukan untuk memudahkan pemerintah desa dan masyarakat untuk menata dan memanfaatkan lahan bekas pertambangan agar dapat meningkatkan pendapatan secara ekonomi bagi masyarakat di Desa Tanjung Riu. Pemetaan dimulai dengan observasi wilayah batas desa, menentukan titik lokasi area lahan bekas kegiatan pertambangan dengan GPS, serta menentukan titik adminitrasi desa, seperti area Perkantoran Desa, area Pendidikan, Rumah Ibadah, Puskesmas dan Posyandu, dengan hasil hampir 40% merupakan lahan terlantar bekas kegiatan Pertambangan, kemudian 50% didominasi Hutan atau Kebun Masyarakat seperti Karet dan Buah-buahan, kemudian 10%  terisi oleh pemukiman. Hasil pemetaan diketahui lahan bekas pertambangan yang ada diwilayah Desa Tanjung Riu masih dapat dikelola untuk pemanfaatan lainnya seperti tempat wisata maupun tempat budidaya ikan.

Abstract

Kuluk Bali Village has the authority to regulate and manage government affairs, regional affairs and community interests based on customary law, customary rights and community initiatives which are recognized and respected in the government system of the unitary state of the Republic of Indonesia. Mastery of technology in the field of regional mapping is part of the need for village officials and the community to know and protect their rights, such as village territorial boundaries and also community rights over their ownership areas, for example community gardens and other forms of managed land. The community's need to map their managed areas and the limited knowledge of the community in mapping areas are the basis for carrying out training activities on the use of GPS. The training aims to improve knowledge and skills, especially for Kuluk Bali village officials to become superior human resources in mastering technology, one of which is GPS. The training method is carried out by providing lectures, practical assistance and discussions. The training provides knowledge for village officials and communities to operate GPS, so that they can independently determine village boundaries and coordinate points for their management areas.

Abstract

Ilmu kebumian merupakan salah satu Pelajaran yang ada di SMA Negeri 2 Palangka Raya, ilmu ini sendiri bagian dari cabang - cabang ilmu yang mempelajari bumi. Bidang Ilmu Kebumian dari tingkat dasar hingga tingkat lanjut selalu berhubungan dengan teori dan aplikasinya. Pengenalan ilmu di kelas akan membantu pelajar untuk mengetahui prinsip-prinsip yang ada dilapangan berdasarkan pengalaman para dosen. Kegiatan pengenalan merupakan aktivitas yang dapat mengenalkan ilmu mengenai bumi melalui presentasi-presentasi serta berbagi pengalaman di lapangan kepada siswa di SMA Negeri 2 Palangka Raya. Kegiatan ini memberikan motivasi dan pengetahuan terutama mengenai kebumian. Tujuan dari kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini adalah memberikan pengajaran yang baik berupa materi serta pengalaman untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa/i. Hal ini didasari bahwa Sebagian anak-anak kurangnya minat dalam belajar terutama dalam hal kebumian dan manfaat belajar mengenai masalah-masalah kebumian. Kegiatan pengabdian ini memberikan motivasi kepada anak-anak dan menujukkan sisi pentingnya kita mempelajari tentang kebumian. Metode kegiatan yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah metode yang digunakan dalam melakukan pemberdayaan kelompok sasaran yaitu: Pengenalan, struktur geologi, mineral pada batuan.

Abstract

The research was conducted at an unlicensed gold mining location in Petuk Barunai Village, Rakumpit District, Palangka Raya City. This study aims to determine the quality of Takaras River water based on the results of testing Takaras River water samples in the laboratory and to analyze the Water Pollution Index in the community mining area in the Takaras River. The Pollution Index is systematically an index related to polluting compounds that are meaningful for a designation. This research begins by analyzing 3 samples of Takaras River water affected by gold mining and then testing the samples in the laboratory. Processing data obtained from laboratory test results from each parameter tested to obtain values to determine Water Quality and compare with Water Quality Standards.The river water parameters to be studied are pH of Takaras River water, Hg, Pb, Cu, Fe, Cd, TDS, TSS, BOD, COD and DO. Parameters that comply with class II water quality standards are Fe, Cd, Pb, TDS and DO. While the parameters that pass class II water quality standards are Hg, Cu, pH, TSS, BOD, and COD. Based on the Pollution Index analysis, the Takaras River is included in the Moderately Polluted category (Fairly Polluted) with IP results of 6.23. Abstract

The Banturung area, a sub-district in Bukit Batu District, Palangka Raya City, mostly consists of rocky hill morphology. This research aims to determine the characteristics of rocks in the Banturung area based on petrological analysis and direct observation of rock outcrops at the research location. Characteristics can be determined by direct field observation or by macroscopic observation, where what is observed are physical properties including color, structure, texture, mineral composition and also the formation process. From the results of the analysis it is known that the characteristics of the rocks at the research location include igneous rock types and there are several mineral compositions with an average percentage of quartz 52.5%, plagioclase 21.3%, mica 8.6%, biotite 5%, hornblende 11, 3% and 1.3% pyrite mineral.

Abstract

Community Service Program (PKM) Mapping Infrastructure Location Points using satellite-based GPS in Penda Pilang Village in order to prepare location information and types of infrastructure facilities available, and can be used as a base map in future infrastructure development. The product resulting from this activity is a Map of Infrastructure Location Points in Penda Pilang Village, Kurun District, Gunung Mas Regency, Central Kalimantan Province. On the map, there are 9 (nine) physical infrastructures consisting of Village Gate, Church, Village Office and BPD, PAUD, Kindergarten, Elementary School, Middle School, Posyandu, and Community Health Center.
