Abstract

Smart Hospital Bed adalah hasil rancang bangun yang dilaksanakan di Fakultas Teknik UISU sebagaimana diketahui bahwa ranjang semacam ini belum ada di Indonesia, khususnya di Sumatera Utara. Pengukuran berat badan pasien dengan kondisi tidak dapat begerak, tidak sadarkan diri, trauma, atau luka bakar secara langsung sangat sulit dilakukan. Smart Hospital Bed dirancang dengan menggunakan komponen seperti Load Cell, Modul HX711, Arduino, LCD, Ranjang Pasien, Push Button, dan Potensiometer. Saat tombol “mulai” ditekan, pasien yang berbaring di ranjang akan terdeteksi dan diukur oleh sensor Load Cell. Amplifier HX711 akan bekerja sebagai inputan penguat sensor Load Cell. Mikrokontroler Arduino kemudian memproses dan mengontrol seluruh sistem. Hasil inputan pengukuran berat badan yang telah diproses selanjutnya akan ditampilkan di LCD. Tombol “tahan” berfungsi untuk menahan hasil pengukuran berat badan. Setelah dilakukan pengukuran dan menekan tombol “off”, pengukuran berat badandihentikan dan mikrokontroler akan memproses ulang sistem. Hasil dari pembuatan Smart Hospital Bed dilakukan pengujian ketelitian pengukuran, dan dihasilkan error rata-rata yang sangat rendah, yaitu sebesar 0,10%. Smart Hospital Bed diharapkan menjadi solusi atas masalah pengukuran berat badan pasien berkebutuhan khusus dan mampu bersaing dengan produk impor sejenis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan quasi eksperiment yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan pengaruh penggunaan media audio visual terhadap hasil belajar.Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah One-Group-Pretest-Posttest. Sampel pada penelitian  ini adalah kelas VIII, dengan jumlah siswa 30 orang yang diberikan  pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media audio visual.Uji Hipotesis yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah uji t. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes objektif untuk mengukur hasil belajar siswa dengan  penggunaan media audio visual. Hasil pengujian hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji t diperoleh nilai signifikan 0,027, sehingga sig 0,05. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut maka dapat dikatakan bahwa H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima, yaitu terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara data pre-test dengan data post-test  siswa yang menggunakan media audio visual pada materi gaya pada kelas VIII SMPIT Al-Fauzi. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran audio visual memberi pengaruh yang baik terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Kata Kunci : Media, Audiovisual,Gaya

Abstract

Proses peningkatan potensi siswa salah satunya dilakukan melalui Pendidikan yang berbasis teknologi dan informasi. Siswa diharapkan mampu menjadikan teknologi dan informasi sebagai sarana untuk mendapatkan sumber belajar yang sesuai dengan materi yang dipelajari di sekolah. Penggunaan Teknologi informasi membuat pembelajaran semakin cepat diakses oleh siswa. Tujuan dalam penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui Praktikalitas E Modul Praktikum Fisika SMA Berbasis Model Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap Keterampilan Proses Sains siswa. Model 4-D menjadi salah satu model Pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Tahapan 4-D model ini terdiri atas tahap Define (pendefinisian), Design (perancangan), Develop (pengembangan), dan Disseminate (penyebaran). Pada penelitian ini dibatasi pada tahap Develop uji praktikalitas produk. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan Instrumen Praktikalitas E Modul Praktikum Fisika SMA Berbasis model PBL. Teknik analisis data praktikalitas menggunakan Skala Likert yang disusun dalam bentuk pertanyaan dengan 5 (lima) kriteria respon. Hasil penelitian dari uji praktikalitas didapatkan bahwa E Modul Praktikum Fisika sangat praktis dengan nilai 85,7 berdasarkan respon guru dan praktis dengan nilai 75,695 berdasarkan respon siswa. Hasil ini menyimpulkan bahwa E Modul Praktikum Fisika SMA Berbasis model PBL praktis untuk diujicobakan ke tahap selanjutnya.

Abstract

North Pelawi Village is one of the villages located in Babalan District, Langkat Regency. Independent enterprises that make tofu are micro, small and medium enterprises that are still active in carrying out activities to produce a tofu product using vinegar at a relatively low cost. The impact of using vinegar for the manufacture of tofu, where the liquid waste can cause environmental pollution because the water flowing in the sewers has a very strong smell, especially if the volume of liquid waste is large, of course it will make people restless and disturb the surrounding environment and the effect of vinegar can cause stomach acid which can bring disease on our bodies. The implementation of the activities is carried out by theoretical and lecture methods (socialization) and the implementation method in which the above student activities are accompanied by DPL lecturers to help the community of North Pelawi Village. The results of the KKN-T activities related to tofu making are carried out through socialization in which it is hoped that the next tofu production must be switched from the use of vinegar to the use of nigarin sea water with the consequence of avoiding environmental pollution and avoiding the tendency of stomach acid and avoiding the tendency of stomach acid. The socialization activity of making tofu has benefits, namely it can increase public knowledge.

Abstract

Processed products of palm sap are cooked for a certain duration of time to produce brown sugar. In general, the community still uses coconut/aren sap water as a raw material for making brown sugar, but currently residents of Pasar Eight village in Air Putih sub-district have made brown sugar using waste palm stems to get the sap water and then mix it with white sugar. The purpose of community service is to increase online marketing and provide education on making brown sugar that is correct and good for health. Brown sugar has its own advantages, but improper processing can harm health in order to gain unilateral benefits. Based on the results of observations when visiting brown sugar craftsmen (partners), information was obtained that the marketing of palm sugar palm sap was carried out online through social media face book and product orders had reached the Pekanbaru area, although not routinely. Therefore community service is carried out by providing outreach to brown sugar craftsmen in order to expand the marketing network which will increase sales, production and profits so as to open jobs for the community. The service method is carried out by observing and interviewing and outreach. It is hoped that the results of PkM activities can increase the knowledge of brown sugar craftsmen about online brown sugar marketing and the quality of brown sugar production and hygiene.

Abstract

One of the potential livestock commodities to be developed is goats. A number of problems faced by goat breeders include seed quality, feed supply, disease prevention, market expansion to increase production. However, the main problem of discussion is the availability of animal feed. Currently goat breeders are still experiencing a problem in the supply of animal feed as a source of protein. Breeders must provide grass in sufficient quantities to be chopped as livestock feed. Most breeders still use the conventional grass chopping process. Farmers in the Pond Village area still use sickles to get grass which has to provide large amounts of grass as the number of goats also increases, therefore it takes more time and effort. The solution to solving the problems faced is to approach partners so that alternative grass chopping technology can be accepted and implemented. With the application of alternative grass chopping machines, smaller pieces of grass are obtained to be given as animal feed so that it is easier for livestock to digest the food. As the prime mover of this grass chopper is an electric motor and a gasoline engine. If the location is available a source of electric current can use an electric motor dynamo. If the conditions where the livestock is far from the reach of electricity can use a gasoline engine. Alternative grass chopper with consequences can increase livestock feed production capacity. Transferring the function of using a scythe as a grass chopping tool to chopping grass using a machine will ensure a quick time and an increase in production capacity which has been proven to work in the Kesuma cattle farming group. The grass chopper application is well supported/welcomed by the farmer group members, it is hoped that the farmer group residents will continue to use this chopper application.
