Abstract

This classroom action research aims to improve the ability to read simple sentences in grade 1B students of SDN 2 Tatura in learning Indonesian. The research subjects were 28 students, consisting of 16 males and 12 females. The research was conducted in two cycles using the PTK model which includes the stages of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The main problem in this study is the low ability of students to understand and read simple sentences. As a solution, the Early Reading Writing (MMP) method was applied which is contextual and student-centered. Data were collected through observations of teacher and student activities, as well as learning outcome tests using student worksheets (LKPD). The results of the study showed an increase in the percentage of student learning completion from 75% in cycle I to 93% in cycle II. These findings indicate that the MMP method is effective in improving the ability to read simple sentences of grade 1 students in the context of learning Indonesian

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis representasi nilai budaya Bugis Makassar dalam film Pattongko Siri’ dengan menggunakan kerangka Analisis Wacana Kritis (AWK) Teun A. van Dijk. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Data penelitian berupa wacana dalam film yang mencakup aspek linguistik dan aspek yang merepresentasikan nilai budaya Bugis-Makassar. Sumber data penelitian berupa adegan dan dialog dalam film Pattongko Siri’ yang diproduksi oleh Viu Shorts dan tayang pada tahun 2019. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan dua teknik, yaitu teknik simak dan teknik catat. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model AWK Teun A. van Dijk yang mencakup tiga struktur utama,  yakni (1) struktur makro, (2) superstruktur, dan 3) struktur mikro. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa film Pattongko Siri’ merepresentasikan nilai siri’ sebagai instrumen kontrol sosial dan mekanisme pemulihan kehormatan keluarga dalam budaya Bugis. Wacana yang dibangun menegaskan distribusi peran gender yang timpang, di mana perempuan lebih banyak menanggung beban psikologis, sementara laki-laki diposisikan sebagai penyelamat kehormatan melalui tanggung jawab moral dan sosial. Dengan demikian, film ini tidak hanya merefleksikan budaya Bugis-Makassar, tetapi juga memperkuat ideologi patriarki serta menegaskan peran adat sebagai solusi legitimasi sosial dan budaya.

Abstract

The era of the 4.0 revolution is a time characterized by the development of information technology. This era offers opportunities for digitalization in various fields, including higher education. One area that greatly requires information technology is research, particularly in the development of electronic modules as learning media. This study aims to develop an electronic module on antidiabetic testing techniques as a guide for practice and research. The research method used is a Research and Development design, utilizing the ADDIE approach model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The module used was validated by two content and language experts, two media expert validators, and validated for feasibility by 128 respondents using a questionnaire instrument, and the effectiveness evaluation of the module was tested by 36 students from the Pharmacy Department of Tadulako University. The research results show that the validity test by two content experts rated it as feasible with an average score of 4 and a percentage of 80%, the language expert rated it as very feasible with a percentage of 88.0% and an average score of 4.4, the design expert rated it as very feasible with a percentage of 92.22% and an average score of 4.6, the feasibility assessment by students rated it as very feasible to be used as learning media with an average score of 4.05 and a percentage of 81.02%, and the effectiveness test using N-Gain was 89%. This electronic module establishes a framework for developing interactive instructional materials in scientific education, particularly relevant to pharmaceutical sciences and healthcare fields, through its systematic integration of practical simulations and pharmacological research components within the learning environment.
