Abstract

This research aims to know the influence of financial education toward financial literacy on Economics Faculty students. In Economics Faculty, Universitas Negeri Semarang, there were 16 of 40 students who had good financial behaviors. It was contradictive because they have taken accounting subject who make them good in financial literacy. The research on financial literacy had the contradiction, especially in the influence of financial education variable on financial literacy. Therefore, this study raised the mediating variables; the consumer knowledge variable and psychological factor variables (motivation, self efficacy). This study was analyzed by two analyses that were descriptive analysis and path inferential analysis.  Findings show that students’ financial literacy and financial education are in enough categories; whereas, motivation and self-efficacy are in good condition, and students’ financial knowledge is in unfavorable category. The results of path analysis show that the variable of financial education does not have any direct influence toward financial literacy, but it has indirect influence through motivation. Then, the variable of financial education also does not have any direct influence toward self-efficacy, and self-efficacy does not influence toward financial literacy and financial knowledge does not have any influence toward financial literacy. Thus; the learning process on Finance should involve three aspects; cognitive, affective, and psychomotor; and it needs the development of learning model on Finance to involve students’ activeness in managing their financial activities.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian adalah seberapa besar nilai rata-rata mata pelajaran produktif, seberapa besar prestasi on the job training, seberapa besar pengaruh nilai rata-rata mata pelajaran produftif terhadap prestasi on the job training. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan dan menganalisis seberapa besar nilai rata-rata mata pelajaran produktif, untuk mendiskripsikan dan menganalisis seberapa besar prestasi on the job training dan untuk mendiskripsikan dan menganalisis seberapa besar pengaruh nilai rata-rata mata pelajaran produktif terhadap prestasi on the job training. Populasi penelitian ini sebanyak 118. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 54. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode kepustakaan, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi linier sederhana dengan program SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada pengaruh positif antara nilai rata- rata mata pelajaran produktif terhadap prestasi on the job training. Hal ini di tunjukkan nilai thitung sebesar 6,397 > ttabel (2,01) dengan probabilitas 0.000 < 0.05. Simpulan dari hasil penelitian adalah bahwa rata-rata nilai mata pelajaran produktif mencapai 7.7500 dalam kategori cukup. Rata-rata prestasi on the job training mencapai 8,0015 dalam kategori baik. Ada pengaruh antara nilai rata-rata mata pelajaran produktif terhadap prestasi on the job training dengan kontribusi sebesar 44%. Sedangkan 56% didukung oleh faktor lain yaitu minat dan motivasi mengikuti on the job training, fasilitas di dunia industri.   Kata Kunci : Mata Pelajaran Produktif, Prestasi on The Job Training

Abstract

Students in the first semester got difficulty to adapt the learning process in the university (student-oriented) which are different with the senior high school (teacher-oriented). Thus, the lecturer needed to solve the problem to sharpen students’ independence by using Jigsaw, a cooperative learning. Then, e-learning was also an important factor to spread the knowledge widely to students. Thus; the combination of Jigsaw and e-learning was expected to improve students’ achievement. The subjects of the study were 40 Economics education students in bachelor degree (S1), Unnes in Curriculum Review class. The objective of the study was to minimize the mistake, improve the students’ interest and study result in understanding the concept of the Standard of National Education through independent learning strategy based on e-learning and cooperative learning of Jigsaw. The result of study showed that students’ activities, interest, attention, participation in discussion and presentation in the classroom increased significantly with the mean 4.14. Then, students’ test results increased from pre-test which was only 74 then rose to 79 in the 1st cycle and 81 in the 2nd cycle with the level of completeness was 87.5%. Furthermore, students thought that the strategy was very good with the score 4.12

Abstract

The Objective of this study is to know and analyze the planning, the teaching-learning process and the assessment in SMK Negeri 2 Semarang. The significances of this study are firstly, as a means to improve knowledge and technology especially about learning management for educational institutions, secondly, as an input for schools about learning management so the learning objectives can be conducted effectively and efficiently, thirdly as an input for related institutions, especially about learning management so the result of the study can be experienced by the society directly. This research used qualitative approach since it was a descriptive qualitative study. The techniques for collecting the data were interview, observation and documentation. The data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation and concluding. And then triangulation was done to get the valid data. The result showed that before teaching, the teachers discuss together about planning until assessment under the control of the principal; next, the preparation by a techer including preparing the materials and media, until designing the method of teaching. After that, the teching-learning process which involves three activities; warming-up activity, main activities and cooling-down activity. And finally, the ssessment which is done during the teacjing-learning process and after learning in the form of students learning result. Moreover, for student who face difficulties in learning, the teacher gives remedial opportunity so their result can finally achieve Criteria of Minimal Score (kriteria ketuntasan minimal/KKM).

Abstract

The study was inspired by some phenomena such as; the low quality of education in Indonesia, the high unemployment of Vocational high schools graduates and the measurement of school’s productivity which only was seen by the numbers of graduates. The objective of the study was to find the contribution of teachers’ competencies, the culture of school organization, the financing of education, the leadership of the principal, the roles of school committee would influence simultaneously and partially toward the process quality and productivity of vocational high schools based on business-management in Semarang. The respondents were 138 Vocational High Schools teachers based on Business and Management in Semarang. The data were collected by questionnaire, documentation and interview. They were analyzed by doubled regression. The result showed that the culture of organization, the leadership of the principal, and the school committee gave positive influence simultaneously   toward the process quality and school productivity. Whereas, the teachers’ competencies and the financing of the school did not give any influence toward the process quality and the school productivity.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi rendahnya kreatifitas guru dengan persentase rata-rata 1,73% melalui lomba inovasi pembelajaran di kabupaten Lombok Barat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui efek mediasi kecerdasan emosi pada pengaruh supervisi kolaboratif pengawas sekolah dan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap perilaku inovatif guru. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain ex-post facto. Hasil pengujian pada taraf signifikansi 5% diperoleh hasil bahwa supervisi kolaboratif pengawas sekolah tidak berpengaruh positif terhadap perilaku inovatif guru dengan nilai β = -0,067. Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah berpengaruh positif terhadap perilaku inovatif guru dengan nilai β = 0,114. Kecerdasan emosi guru berpengaruh positif terhadap perilaku inovatif guru dengan nilai β = 0,686 dan p-value sebesar < 0,001. Supervisi kolaboratif pengawas sekolah dan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah berpengaruh positif terhadap kecerdasan emosi guru dengan masing -masing nilai β = 0,194 dan β = 0,186. Supervisi kolaboratif pengawas sekolah dan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah berpengaruh positif terhadap perilaku inovatif guru melalui kecerdasan emosi guru dengan masing-masing nilai β = 0,132 dan β = 0,127 dan p-value sebesar < 0,05. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan kecerdasan emosi guru berperan sebagai mediator untuk meningkatkan perilaku inovatif guru.

Abstract

Kinerja keuangan di perguruan tinggi swasta adalah salah satu faktor penting untuk mencapai kualitas pendidikan. Fenomena menunjukkan bahwa kinerja keuangan perguruan tinggi swasta yang kurang baik, terutama dalam hal likuiditas (current ratio) yang mendorong perguruan tinggi swasta melakukan beberapa pelanggaran dalam mendapatkan pendapatan untuk membiayai operasi institusi. Rumusan masalah yang diangkat adalah bagaimana meningkatkan kinerja keuangan perguruan tinggi swasta sehingga akan tetap mempertahankan kelangsungan hidupnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis dan menggambarkan kinerja badan penyelenggara pendidikan terhadap kinerja keuangan perguruan tinggi melalui modal intelektual dan good university governance. Metodologi penelitian ini mengangkat 71 perguruan tinggi swasta di Jawa Tengah untuk dicicipi di mana masing-masing universitas diwakili oleh responden. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah proporsional random sampling. engan statistik perhitungan rumus slovin. Analisis data yang digunakan analisis jalur. pengolahan data menggunakan Estimasi Maksimum (ML). Hasilnya menunjukkan kinerja badan penyelenggara pendidikan, modal intelektual dan good university governance memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dan meningkatkan kinerja keuangan dari perguruan tinggi langsung. ut kinerja pendidikan badan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja keuangan melalui good university governance serta good university governance terhadap kinerja keuangan melalui modal intelektual. &nbsp; Financial performance in private colleges is one of the important factors for achieving quality education. The phenomenon shows that the financial performance of private universities is not good, especially in terms of liquidity (current ratio) that encourage&nbsp; private universities committed some offense in getting the revenue to finance any operations of the institution. The formulation of The purpose of this study is to analyze and describe the performance of the organizing body of education on college financial performance through intellectual capital and good university governance. This methodology&nbsp; study raised 71 private universities in Central Java to be sampled where each university represented by the respondent. The sampling technique used is proportionate random sampling. ith the statistical calculation formulas slovin. Analysis of the data used path analysis. Processing data using Maximum Likelihood Estimation (ML). The results show the performance of the organizing body of education, intellectual capital and good university governance have significant influence and improve the financial performance of the college directly. ut the performance of the education governing body had no significant effect on the financial performance through good university governance as well as good university governance on financial performance through intellectual capital.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Menganalisis pengaruh Prestasi Belajar dan Aktivitas Berorganisasi terhadap Daya Saing mahasiswa. 2) Menganalisis peran Soft Skill sebagai variabel intervening yang memediasi pengaruh tidak langsung Prestasi Belajar dan Aktivitas Berorganisasi terhadap Daya Saing mahasiswa. Penelitian ini termasuk pada kategori kuantitatif dengan pendekatan hipotesys study. Populasi penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi Universitas Kuningan dari angkatan 2011 hingga 2014 yang berjumlah 198. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling yang menghasilkan jumlah sampel sebanyak 132. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik dokumentasi dan kuisioner. Analisis data statistik inferensial dengan path&nbsp; analisys menggunakan program SPSS versi 21. Uji normalitas dengan Kolmogorov Smirnov, uji multikolinieritas dengan melihat nilai VIF dan Condition Index, uji heteroskedaktisitas dengan uji Glejster, dan uji autokorelasi dengan Run Test. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa pengaruh langsung Prestasi Belajar terhadap Daya Saing signifikan dengan nilai koefisien jalur sebesar 14,7%. Pengaruh langsung Aktivitas Berorganisasi terhadap Daya Saing tidak signifikan. Pengaruh Soft Skill terhadap Daya Saing signifikan dengan koefisien jalur sebesar 51,9%. Peran Soft Skill dalam memediasi pengaruh tidak langsung Prestasi Belajar terhadap Daya Saing tidak signifikan. Sedangkan peran Soft Skill dalam memediasi pengaruh tidak langsung Aktivitas Berorganisasi terhadap Daya Saing signifikan dengan nilai Sobel sebesar 39,7%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, sebaiknya mahasiswa meningkatkan soft skill-nya dengan serius mengikuti aktivitas berorganisasi. Selanjutnya, kepada pihak pembantu Dekan bidang kemahasiswaan sebaiknya lebih giat lagi dalam mengajak dan mensosialisasikan aktivitas berorganisasi untuk meningkatkan soft skill mahasiswa,&nbsp; karena soft skill yang meningkat akan juga meningkatkan daya saing. &nbsp; This study aims to: 1) Analyzing the effect of Learning Achievement and Organizational Activities toward the students Competitiveness. 2) Analyzing the role of Soft Skills as intervening variable that mediate the indirect effect of Learning Achievement and Organizational Activities toward the students Competitiveness.This Thesis was an hipotesys study with quantitative approach. Population in this study is the students of Economic Education Department, Kuningan University from 2011 to 2014 graduates. The Sampling technique used simple random sampling which resulted in a total sample of 132. The Methods of data collecting in this study used&nbsp; documentation and questionnaires techniques. The statistical Analysis data used path analisys with SPSS 21th version. The Normality test used the Kolmogorov Smirnov test, multicolinierity test draw on VIF and Condition Index, test of heteroskedakticity utilized Glejster, and autocorrelation test exploited Run test. The Results of this study found that the direct effect of Learning Achievement toward the students Competitiveness were significantly 14.7%. The direct effect of the Competitiveness on the Organize Activities were not significant. The Effect of Soft Skill on Competitiveness was significantly 51.9%. Soft Skill mediating role in the Competitiveness Achievement was insignificant. But, the role of mediation Soft Skills at the Competitiveness Organize Activities were significantly with 0,397 of Sobel Test.Based on these results, we recommended that students can improve their soft skills with serious long-organize. Further, to the dean of student affairs should be more active in asking and socializing Organizational Activitised to improve the soft skills of the students, because the soft skills which is increasing would also enhance the competitiveness.

Abstract

Research objectives to find out and analyze the factors that hinder student's learning difficulties Papua grantee LPMAK on economic subjects. This research is descriptive research approach to mix method. The subject in this study is the whole student scholarship recipients Papua LPMAK totaled 52 students. Data collection is done with the now, interview and documentation. Data analysis was done with the analysis of factors and descriptive data analysis. Data collection is done with the now, interview and documentation. Data analysis was done with the analysis of factors and descriptive data analysis. The results showed there is a dominant factor that inhibits student learning difficulties Papua grantee LPMAK in Semarang City: Factors of mass media and the social environment, the use of mass media overload causing trouble Learning (learning difficulty) students. The head of Papua's Dormitory (teachers) will need to limit the activity of the child his protégé in the use of mass media and association with students of Papua and the media in the dorm.

Abstract

Cooperatives are seen as one of the important instrument to improve economic and social conditions of societies, to arouse the spirit of initiative and improving the general knowledge and technical skills of the society. On the present cooperatives members are business people of small medium scale enterprises (SMEs) which need a guidance or development. The purpose of this study is to describe the role of cooperatives in small medium scale enterprises (SMEs) development. The method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques used are observation, documentation and interview.The results of research showed that KSU Padurenan Jaya is a multi-purpose cooperatives that has five business units i.e. save loan, store, embroidery service, marketing, research and development. KSU Padurenan Jaya was instrumental in developing the small medium scale enterprises (SMEs) embroidery and convection consists of (1) aspects of the market, by following the events of the exhibition or expo, online marketing, providing material needs in the cooperative store, and create innovative products according to consumer taste. (2) the aspect of technology, by socialization and demonstration of the use technology of embroidery machines, embroidery design with computer programs, internet information technology for promoting and marketing product, And to optimize the use of the machine by provide services embroidery using advanced machine in cooperation so that can improve the productivity and efficiency of the business. (3) the aspect of the capital, by providing save loan service with simple procedures, mentoring to access other sources of financing.
