Abstract

The geometry of the building, especially in the column, will affect the response of the structure when the earthquake load works. This study aims to discuss about the drift and inter-story drift of the Story buildings structure sloped due to lateral earthquake loads and ductility. The case under consideration is a three-dimensional Frame 10 story. Where will be designed 3 types of concrete structure building systems. These three 3D frame systems will be analyzed and compared their performance against earthquake loads by using computer program aids. The results of this research when Improved Peak ground acceleration (PGA) values ranging from 0.8g 1.2g to 1.5g show that Model 2 (HSB-2) has the largest drift (drift) or it can be said to have the smallest stiffness among the others. After analyzing the pushover on the building reviewed then got the ductility value of building model 1,2 and 3 respectively is equal to 1.75; 1.711; And 1.686. In terms of Ductility, HSB-1 Building has the best performance among the others.

Abstract

High quality concrete as a construction material more widely used, but the higher of the concrete qualitywill cause ductility properties of concrete decreases. One way to decimate the mechanical properties of highstrength concrete is to provide additional materials in the concrete mix. This study aimed to determine theeffect of plastic rope in the concrete mixture. Technical properties of concrete under review due to theaddition of plastic rope to concrete is compressive strength. The method used in this research is to make a testpiece for later testing compressive strength. The test object is created by the addition of plastic rope along the5 cm, 7 cm and 10 cm as much as 0.5% by weight of coarse aggregate. Specimens were made for eachvariation is 3 pieces and will be tested on the concrete age 7 and 28 days. The planned results in this study isthe high quality concrete compressive strength of 55 MPa at the age of concrete 28 days. From the researchthat at the age of concrete 28 days minimum compressive strength of concrete specimen contained in theconcrete with the addition of 5 cm plastic ropes of 11.75 MPa or 21.36% of the compressive strength ofconcrete plans. The maximum concrete compressive strength at 28 days there on the concrete specimen withthe addition of plastic rope 7 and 10 cm at 12.14 MPa or 22.07% of the compressive strength of concreteplans.

Abstract

Road is one of the land transportation infrastructure that a very important role in maintaining the continuity of the distribution of goods and other services. A roads are also useful for human migration from one place to another. Road conditions that will affect performance are if the road is overloaded with traffic. In Karawang Regency, especially the Klari National Highway which is the main road in Klari sub-district, and is the entrance to the Karawang Timur toll road as the entry and exit gate for large vehicles, especially factory vehicles, private cars and other public transportation. In this study, we want to know the performance of the road on the Klari highway. The method used to determine the performance of the Klari highway is to use the Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (MKJI 1997). The survey was conducted during peak hours on Mondays. After doing the analysis and obtained the capacity of the Klari highway to the Cikampek direction of 3172 smp/hour with a degree of saturation of 0.44 and the level of service can be interpreted as being at level B and the capacity of the Klari highway to the direction of Karawang of 2937 smp/hour with a degree of saturation of 0, 49 and the level of service can be interpreted as being at level C.
