Abstract

Rapidly growing information technology industry in Indonesia has caused the business competition to be competitive. PT. XYZ as one of information technology companies faced a new problem related with their competitiveness that have seen from business process, organization structure, and product variation they produced.To optimize PT. XYZ’s competitiveness, this research adopt Michael E. Porter Competitive Advantages framework which is to win the competition by using competitive advantages and competitive strategies. In addition, also use Business Model Canvas to strengthen its competitiveness. Focusing business as the competitive advantages analyzed by using forecasting method and formulate  competitive strategies by using generic strategy based on business focus that have been determinate earlier. This research would give a business solution for PT. XYZ to focusing business to run and the right competitive strategies that been elaborate at determining customer segment to strengthen its competitiveness in information technology industry. In the end, this research would generate ideal business model as a business solution and its implementation strategy. An action plan to strengthen its business model is formulated in three steps, which are: improve its customer segments and its building block constructed, improve its value proposition and its building block constructed, and improve overall business model. In the end, the improvements include shifting the company’s focus to Software Production company, and applying focus differentiation strategy that focus on general products and non-system corporate segments. All the changes are outlined in a business model canvas that is expected to strengthen PT. XYZ competitiveness in the future. Abstract

Kekuasaan (power) yang memberikan seseorang memiliki wewenang(authority) merupakan syaraf yang berfungsi sebagai penggerak daripada kegiatan-kegiatan untuk mempengaruhi orang lain, gunamencapai suatu tujuan. Bila kekuasaan yang dijalankan secara benardengan menerapkan wewenangnya secara tepat diharapkan akanmemberikan pengaruh yang benar sesuai harapan komunikatornya.Dalam konteks politik, kekuasaan memberikan wewenang untukmelakukan tindakan sehingga wewenang inilah yang berdampak kuatdalam mempengaruhi orang lain, baik suka atau tidak suka.

Abstract

The study aims to determine suitable position and strategy in order to reach superiority in convection business based on the company strengths and weaknesses. A study conducted in late 2012 at AR Vendor, a home-based convection company which focus on the t-shirt screen printing service. In response to the issue of the below average profit margin, the company has to rethink their position and strategy in handling the convection business environment. While AR Vendor business may growth in accordance to the population and economy growth, AR Vendor has to aware about shifting from manual to digital screen printing technology. Moreover, AR Vendor also has to pay attention to the reseller-customer preference in doing backward integration. From its internal environment, it also known that AR Vendor still did not optimizing its marketing activity and employees performance. Alternative of strategies was gathered through Porter’s generic competitive strategies, which cost-leadership strategy was chosen as the most suitable strategy by using QSPM. Through business model, customer segments that suitable with suggested strategy is them whom prioritize the quality, low price, punctuality, and customization. The cost leadership strategy also supported by business model that encourage the profit enhancement through economies of scale and cost efficiency. Keywords: strategic positioning, strategic management, QSPM, business model

Abstract

Investment is one of the efforts made in overcoming the problems of the Indonesian economy. Through the Islamic capital market sector with a variety of instruments in it able to provide new breakthroughs in the development of Indonesian Islamic finance and economic growth in Indonesia. At present the development of the Islamic capital market is very significant and continues to increase every year. In statistical data managed by the OJK, sharia shares have increased from the list of sharia securities recorded in 2013 by 328, rising to 445 in 2019. Likewise, sharia bonds and sharia mutual funds also continue to grow. Various challenges and obstacles faced in the development of Islamic capital markets ranging from regulation, literacy or public knowledge, to the lack of support from stakeholders in the Islamic capital market at this time are still coping with various efforts from both the IDX and the FSA that make the roadmap as strategies in developing the sharia capital market include regulating sharia capital market products, enhancing HR and information technology, working with the government and DSN-MUI to prove that transactions in the sharia capital market are in accordance with sharia principles. The roadmap is valid for 5 years ending in 2019. In 2020 OJK continues to undertake new efforts with the latest focus also in developing Islamic capital markets such as cooperating with MSMEs in enhancing the role of the capital market in financing the government sector.

Abstract

In Indonesia, there are many companies that offer guarantees to face risks in the future, one of the examples is sharia insurance, which means that efforts to protect each other and help each other to face risks, while BPJS is a guarantee institution prepared by the government for the community. But in practice The operation between sharia insurance and BPJS is very much different if Islamic insurance has used and the system is in accordance with sharia, while BPJS is still not clear that the contract and still contains elements of usury because there are fines to be paid when in arrears, which means that there is already an element of usury because the premiums paid are not equal to the premium earned. In this discussion using a qualitative method with a literature approach, from this literature method, we get a meeting point that there are still some BPJS systems that are not yet sharia, so the government should implement a syariah BPJS that has clear akd and differentiated management of funds to help help and investment funds. So that from the tabrru 'fund or help to help, it can be repeated if participants who are late paying premiums are not subject to fines. And for premiums, a premium table should be made when registering BPJS participation at the beginning so that it is clear that premiums will be paid and earned. And if the application for inpatient care, the system is improved so that it is no longer difficult to apply for BPJS, because BPJS is to ensure public health, it should not be complicated when needed.

Abstract

Kemiskinan merupakan salah satu masalah yang dihadapi oleh beberapa negara, salah satunya adalah negara Indonesia. Salah satu cara yang bisa meminimalisir masalah kemiskinan adalah zakat produktif melalui lembaga yang di bentuk oleh pemerintah bersama masyarakat. Zakat produktif adalah zakat yang diberikan kepada mustahiq sebagai modal untuk menjalankan suatu kegiatan ekonomi. Dari beberapa lembaga organisasi yang mengelola zakat secara efektif, efisien, dan transparan salah satunya adalah Inisiatif Zakat Indonesia (IZI) Perwakilan Jawa Timur. IZI memiliki beberapa produk dalam pemberdayaan, salah satunya Lapak Berkah Disablitas, produk tersebut diberikan pada mustahik disabilitas yang diberi kesempatan mengelola zakat produktif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis peranan zakat melalui program Lapak Berkah Disablitas untuk pemberdayaan ekonomi mustahik di Inisiatif Zakat Indonesi Perwakilan Jawa Timur. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Wawancara dilakukan kepada Mustahik dan staff pemberdayaan IZI Perwakilan Jawa Timur dan dokumentasi berupa data yang mendukung penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa IZI Perwakilan Jawa Timur sudah menjalankan programLapak Berkah Disabilitas dengan baik. Peranan yang diberikan zakat produktif melalui program Lapak Berkah Disablitas telah mampu memperbaiki perekonomian mustahik dengan memberikan modal usaha dan fasilitas guna pengembangan usaha maupun membuka usaha baru. Selanjutnya, IZI juga melakukan pengawasan berupa pendampingan yang terdiri dari pembinaan manajemen keuangan dan pembinaan spiritual mustahik. Pengawasan yang dilaksanakan IZI Perwakilan Jawa Timur, sudah dilaksanakan secara optimal, sehingga mustahik mampu mengelola modal usaha dengan baik dan mampu memanajemen keuangan dalam usahanya. Sehingga terciptalah ekonomi mustahik yang berkembang.

Abstract

With underutilized operational capacity. Sangun Laundry competes in the underserved laundry service market of Delatinos Residential Area, South Tangerang. A new business strategy that enlarges Sangun Laundry’s market share with current operational capacity is needed. To formulate one, the business environment is analyzed first. The external environment is examined using the PESTEL framework, Porter’s Five Forces, Cluster Analysis, and competitor analysis with data from literature reviews and customer survey. The internal environment is studied using Value Chain Analysis, Business Model Canvas, VRIO Analysis, and performance analysis with data from interview with the owner. The two environments are harmonized in SWOT analysis as the basis of strategy formulation, which uses Porter’s Generic Strategy, Diamond Strategy, and a new business model canvas. The result shows Sangun Laundry’s operational excellence and its need for improving customer service. Although Sangun Laundry excels in cost-efficiency and quality reputation by virtue of its resources and capabilities, underutilized operational capacity, lack of branding, and manual financial recording slow the business down. Low bargaining power of buyers, rising purchasing power, and high awareness of health hint higher future demand, but threats also come from tight rivalry, laundry appliance innovations, environmental disobedience, and quality mishaps. Sangun Laundry shall apply differentiation strategy where pick-up delivery and customer service become the value propositions, and serve the customer segment dominated by workers aged 36-55. A new customer service staff, who would operate a partner CRM software, is a required vehicle for customer service, which will boost brand perception and customer’s sharing intention.

Abstract

The primary aim of this study is to examine the efficacy of an MSME empowerment and development initiative in enhancing consumer satisfaction at the Warung Nasi Hj establishment. Artificial intelligence (AI) is a field of study and research that focuses on the development The approach employed in this service encompasses the utilisation of customer surveys, interviews conducted with store owners, as well as the analysis of both qualitative and quantitative data. Dedication has observed a noteworthy enhancement in consumer satisfaction as a result of the adoption of a complete empowerment programme, encompassing initiatives such as product quality improvement, employee training, and novel marketing methods. The findings of the survey indicate that consumers have observed favourable improvements in various aspects, including product quality, customer service, and overall experience at Warung Nasi Hj. Ai. In addition to this, stall proprietors also observed an increase in revenue and a greater portion of the market. The aforementioned findings demonstrate that the implementation of programmes aimed at empowering and developing micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) can effectively enhance the quality of MSME operations and yield sustainable profits through the augmentation of consumer happiness and business expansion. This study aims to investigate the relationship between consumer satisfaction, empowerment of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), business development, and marketing strategy.

Abstract

Strategic management is a determinant of employee performance in the long term with the level of managerial decisions and actions. It includes environmental observation, strategy formulation, strategy implementation, evaluation and control. The research was conducted to analyze Sharia Strategic Management (MSS) at BMT Maslahah. It uses qualitative research methods, while data collection through interview techniques and documentation techniques. After the research was conducted, it was found that the strategic management process used by BMT Maslahah would be updated according to the needs and long-term development of the company. As for the strategy formulation, it is done by gathering all the members who will later be adjusted to the suggestions and the results of the joint discussion. The implementation of the strategy is adjusted to the existing mission at BMT Maslahah, such as managing cooperatives according to the identity of the students and also implementing the sharia system using the salaf book standards as well as in accordance with the fatwas of the National Sharia Council (DSN). It is stated that the BMT Maslahah in its implementation has implemented sharia principles which are marked by the implementation of four aspects differentiating it from conventional strategic management, including aspects of tawhid, orientation, motivation and sharia strategy.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of financial ratios (NPL, CAR, LDR, BOPO) simultaneously on the performance of Muamalat Indonesia Bank from 2008-2018. In this study, the researchers used a type of quantitative research with a descriptive and verification research approach because of the variables to be examined for their relationship and the purpose of presenting a structured picture. This research is a quantitative study with time series data. The type of data used in this study is secondary data in the form of data for all variables, namely Return on Assets (ROA), Non-Performing Loans (NPL), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), and Operating Cost Income Operational (BOPO). This secondary data was obtained by the method of observing financial ratios registered during the observation from 2008 to 2018. Corporate financial data for that period is available at www.idx.co.id. Data collection techniques used are observation and recording and linear regression models are used to determine whether there is a significant influence of one variable with another variable. For testing the hypothesis, it used the t-test and F-test.
