Abstract

Pestisida adalah bahan kimia yang digunakan untuk membunuh hama baik insekta, jamur, virus, dan segala sesuatu yang dapat merusak tanaman. Bahan aktif pestisida yang ditemukan mencapai 53 jenis, untuk insektisida didominasi golongan piretroid (41,38%), Organofosfat (13,79%), Karbamat (10,34%). Untuk fungisida sekitar 73,91% berupa mancozeb yang termasuk dalam golongan dithiocarbamat. Pestisida kimia adalah bahan kimia yang digunakan untuk mengendalikan hama dan jasad pengganggu lainnya pada tanaman. Pestisida organik adalah ramuan obat-obatan untuk mengendalikan hama dan segala penyakit tanaman yang dibuat dari bahan alami seperti tumbuhan, hewan, atau mikroorganisme. Bawang merah (Allium cepa L. var. aggregatum) adalah bumbu masak yang sering dijumpai di dapur rumah. Bawang merah mengandung vitamin C, kalium, serat, asam folat, kalsium, zat besi. Selain mengandung zat yang berguna bagi tubuh, bawang merah juga  mengandung senyawa acetogenin yang dapat dimanfaatkan dalam pembuatasn pestisida. Hama adalah segala binatang yang dapat merusak tanaman dan umumnya merugikan manusia dari segi ekonomi. Pada penelitian ini didapatkan hasil pada hari ke-0 masih terdapat daun keriting dan berlubang pada tanaman cabai. Kemudian pada hari ke-3 setelah dilakukan penyemprotan pestisida terdapat sedikit perubahan dimana daun keriting dan berlubang mulai berkurang. Pada hari ke-6 didapatkan hasil daun keriting dan berlubang semakin berkurang. Homogenitas  pestisida setelah fermentasi pada saat sebelum penyaringan masih terdapat butiran-butiran yang disebabkan oleh sisa bahan-bahan seperti daun jeruk yang belum halus secara merata. Kemudian untuk menghilangi butiran tersebut dilakukan penyaringan dan didapatkan hasil pestisida organik yang homogen dan tidak ada butiran sisa bahan.                                                                                                          Kata kunci : Pestisida, Hama, Bawang Merah

Abstract

Desa Wisata Lerep berada di Kecamatan Ungaran Barat, Kabupaten Semarang. Desa Wisata Lerep merupakan desa yang cukup luas, kurang lebih 682 hektar yang memiliki 64 RT, 10 RW serta delapan dusun. Selain itu, Desa Wisata Lerep mempunyai wilayah yang sangat luas dan potensi alam yang melimpah. Desa Wisata Lerep memiliki cukup banyak potensi alam diantaranya curug, persawahan, pemandangan alam serta keanekaragaman hayati. Semakin meningkatnya kasus covid-19 termasuk di Desa Lerep. Maka, perlu adanya upaya bagi setiap warga untuk meningkatkan kesadaran untuk tetap menjaga protokol kesehatan diantaranya dengan penyemprotan desinfektan guna menghambat atau membunuh mikroorganisme pada virus. Bahan yang digunakan dalam pembuatan desinfektan yaitu dengan memanfaatkan jenis tumbuhan yang ada disekitar rumah warga agar mampu secara mandiri dalam membuatnya.Kata Kunci : Virus, Bahan alami, Desinfektan

Abstract

The good postpartum care is an effort to prevent maternal mortality ratio (MMR). MMR in Grobogan Regency in 2018 was 152,5 per 100.000 live birth, higher than MMR in Central Java Province, which was 78,6 per 100.000 live birth. The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between maternal education and family income with postpartum care practices. This was explanatory research type and cross sectional study design. The population in this study were mothers giving birth in January - June 2019 in number 140 and sample choosen by simple random sampling with a minimum sample size of 54 people. Data analysis is concluding univariat and bivariate (descriptive and analytic) by using chi – square with continuity correction method with α 5%. The results of this study are the majority of respondents are post-partum mothers with basic education (61.1%), high family income (55.6%) and good postpartum care practices (64.8%). The percentage of good postpartum care practices was greater for mothers who attended further education (76.2%) and low family income (70.8%). The results of data analysis showed that there was no relationship between maternal education (pvalue = 0.270) and family income (pvalue = 0.588). Recommendation to provide counseling and interpersonal communication to postpartum mothers so that the practice is even better.

Abstract

Pendaki gunung sebagian besar memilih bahan makanan yang dapat diolah secara cepat dan instan tanpa memikirkan kebutuhan nutrisi yang diperlukan saat mendaki gunung. Pendaki lebih banyak membutuhkan nutrisi untuk meningkatkan kadar hemoglobinnya, wanita lebih rentan mengalami defisit hemoglobin dikarenakan wanita harus melewati periode menstruasi setiap bulannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan tingkat kecukupan gizi (protein, zat besi, asam folat, vitamin B12, vitamin A dan vitamin C) dengan kadar hemoglobin pada wanita pendaki gunung. Studi penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross sectional di Basecamp Gunung Prau jalur pendakian Pathak Banteng, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 40 orang pendaki wanita yang berusia 15-30 tahun, subjek dipilih menggunakan kriteria inklusi dan ekslusi. Data di kumpulkan dengan melakukan wawancara recall 2x24 jam. Kadar hemoglobin diukur menggunakan alat Quik-Check Hb. Data dianalisis dengan uji korelasi pearson, rank spearman dan regresi linear. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa 28% subjek mengalami anemia. Saat tidak mendaki, subjek memiliki tingkat kecukupan protein (p=0,001) dan zat besi (p=0,001) yang lebih baik daripada saat mendaki. Terdapat hubungan antara tingkat kecukupan zat besi (p=0,008; r=0,417) dan vitamin C (p=0,019; r=0,369) dengan kadar hemoglobin pada wanita pendaki gunung. Tidak terdapat hubungan antara tingkat kecukupan protein, asam folat, vitamin B12, dan vitamin A dengan kadar hemoglobin pada wanita pendaki gunung (p>0,05). Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah tingkat kecukupan zat besi merupakan variabel yang paling berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kadar hemoglobin (p=0,050).

Abstract

Status gizi sangat penting bagi kesehatan menstruasi remaja putri. Baik kekurangan maupun kelebihan gizi dapat memengaruhi waktu menarke, keteraturan siklus menstruasi, serta munculnya gangguan menstruasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan status gizi dan siklus menstruasi pada remaja putri dengan menggunakan metode scoping review. Scoping review ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan data dari Scopus, PubMed, dan PubMed Central. Populasi target mencakup remaja putri yang berkaitan dengan status gizi dan siklus menstruasi. Pencarian dilakukan dengan kata kunci "nutrition status” AND “menstrual cycle” AND “adolescent girls", yang menghasilkan 1.079 artikel. Setelah disaring dengan batasan waktu 10 tahun terakhir, diperoleh 6 artikel yang relevan. Hasil dari scoping review menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi status gizi dan siklus menstruasi pada remaja putri dikategorikan ke dalam enam kelompok: (1) ketidakseimbangan gizi, (2) Indeks Massa Tubuh (IMT), (3) faktor sosial-ekonomi, (4) kebiasaan makan dan pola diet, (5) tingkat aktivitas fisik, serta (6) pola tidur dan gaya hidup. Status gizi dan siklus menstruasi saling berkaitan melalui berbagai faktor yang kompleks. Secara keseluruhan, kesehatan menstruasi remaja dipengaruhi oleh faktor gizi, status sosial-ekonomi, dan gaya hidup. Asupan gizi seimbang mendukung keteraturan siklus menstruasi, sementara faktor sosial-ekonomi dan gaya hidup berkontribusi terhadap gangguan menstruasi. Intervensi yang tepat sasaran serta akses layanan kesehatan yang lebih baik sangat diperlukan.

Educational settings and peer-based programs are key in enhancing both menstrual and nutritional health, which are vital to supporting the overall well-being of adolescent girls. This Study aims to explore the factors influencing the promotion of menstrual health through nutrition education and peer-based interventions for adolescent girls using a scoping review methodology. Subject and Method: This scoping review was conducted using data obtained from PubMed Central, Science Direct and Google Scholar. The target population includes adolescent girl related to their menstrual health, nutritional education and peer-based intervention. A search was conducted using the keywords “Menstrual health" AND "nutritional education" AND "peer-based inter­ventions" AND ("adolescent girls" OR "teen girls" OR "adolescent health") AND ("menstruation" OR "menstrual hygiene" OR "menstrual health promotion") AND ("nutrition" OR "diet" OR "healthy eating") AND ("peer support" OR "peer education" OR "peer-led programs"), yielding 4.245  articles, which were then filtered down to 7 relevant articles after applying a 10-year time frame. Results: Several factors influence the promotion of menstrual health through nutrition education and peer-based interventions for adolescent girls. These include social support from peers, skills-based education, family involvement (especially mothers), sufficient nutrition literacy, psychosocial factors such as self-confidence and self-control, the role of schools as a health education platform, and the theoretical models used in the program, such as the Theory of Planned Behavior. Conclusion: Peer-led and skills-based education improves health outcomes for adolescent girls. Combining peer support, family involvement, and active learning enhances program success. Schools and communities should adopt these models to address adolescent health issues effectively.

Abstract

Communication technology development has influenced adolescent food choices and intakes. This study aimed to investigate the association between social media exposure to food and beverage content and nutrient intake among female adolescents. The study was conducted in a cross-sectional design. The targeted population was 104 female students aged 14–18 years old at 'XY' High School in Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia. Eighty-one subjects were chosen by clustered random sampling. Data were collected by interviews using structured questionnaires and a 3x24-hour recall method. Data analyses were conducted by chi-square, Fisher exact tests, and logistic regression. The median and standard deviations of social-media, the duration, frequency, and the number of accounts were 2.3±3.00 hours/access, 2.0±2.00 times/day, and 3.6±2.46 accounts/access, respectively. Mean and standard deviations of adequacy levels for energy 107.4±15.39% and protein 124.8±25.8%. Duration of social-media exposures (p-value = 0.040) and body image (p-value= 0.040) were associated with food selection. Food selection was associated with energy (p-value = 0.003) and protein (p-value = 0.002) adequacy levels. After controlling for body image, social-media exposure duration > 2.3 hours had an OR of 3.4 for selecting the accessed foods. It was concluded that social media exposure duration was associated with food selection, which was then associated with energy and protein intakes.

Abstract

Background: Overweight prevalence in Indonesia is 16.5% in late teens. Lifestyle is a risk factor for overweight teenagers, especially those who live in urban areas. Objectives: To analyze the relationship between lifestyle and eating patterns on the incidence of overweight in teenagers living in urban areas. Methods: This research was an observational study with a cross-sectional design. The population of teenagers in Jakarta aged 15 - 18 was 996, based on Ministry of Health Basic Health Research 2018 data. The sample number were 372 using the research criteria of simple random sampling. Research instruments include questionnaires, digital weight scales, and stadiometers. The statistical test used Chi Square to determine the risk factors for overweight. Results: The number of overweight teenagers was 0.12%; the majority were in their late teens (55.6%), female (52.7%), rarely consumed sweet foods (62.9%), often consumed sweet drinks (58.9%), rarely consume fatty/fried foods (61.0%), often consume vegetables and fruit (65.1%), do not drink alcohol (98.4%), moderate sport activity (41.9%), and not smoking (77.7%). Overweight risk factors are consuming sweet drinks (p=0.044; OR=1.582; CI=1.010-2.477) and education (p=0.040; OR=1.847; CI=1.059 – 3.220). Adolescents with frequent sweet drinks consumption have a 1.58 risk of being overweight compared to those who do not consume sweet drinks. Adolescents with higher education are at risk of being overweight by 1.84 compared to those with lower education. Conclusions: Risk factors for overweight Jakarta teenagers are frequent consumption of sweet drinks and advanced education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors associated with anemia in breastfeeding mothers in agricultural areas. This type of research used analytic observational with a cross sectional approach. The sample of this study was 50 breastfeeding mothers who met the inclusion criteria. The research instrument consisted of informed consent, Questionnaire, Semi Quantitative-Food Frequency Questionnaire (SQ-FFQ), easy touch GCHb, nutrition application and data processing software. The statistical test used was the Chi-Square test. The results showed that the proportion of anemia in breastfeeding mothers was 50%. The results of the Chi-Square test showed that there was no significant relationship between hydration, micronutrient intake, exposure to cigarette smoke, tea intake, and physical activity with anemia in breastfeeding mothers (p>0.05). However, there was a relationship between family income and anemia in breastfeeding mothers (p=0.004, p<0.05). Factors related to the incidence of anemia in breastfeeding mothers in agricultural areas are family income. The community is expected to be able to control the factors that can affect anemia in breastfeeding mothers. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menganalisis faktor–faktor yang berhubungan dengan anemia ibu menyusui di daerah pertanian. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 50 ibu menyusui yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari inform consent, kuesioner recall aktivitas fisik, form Semi Quantitative-Food Frequency Questionaire (SQ-FFQ), easy touch GCHb, aplikasi nutrisurvey, dan perangkat lunak pengolah data. Uji statistik yang digunakan uji Chi-Square.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proporsi anemia pada ibu menyusui sebesar 50%. Hasil Uji Chi-Square menunjukkan tidak terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara hidrasi, asupan mikronutrien, paparan asap rokok, asupan teh, dan aktivitas fisik dengan anemia pada ibu menyusui (p>0,05). Namun, terdapat hubungan antara pendapatan keluarga dengan anemia ibu menyusui (p=0,004, p<0,05). Faktor yang berhubungan dengan kejadian anemia ibu menyusui di daerah pertanian adalah pendapatan keluarga. Bagi masyarakat diharapkan dapat melakukan pengendalian faktor – faktor yang dapat memengaruhi anemia pada ibu menyusui.
