Abstract

This study aims to optimize the healthcare service marketing mix to enhance patient satisfaction at RSUD Dr. Ir. Iwan Bokings, Boalemo Regency. This case study explores the impact of marketing mix elements on patient satisfaction. The research uses a quantitative method with a survey approach. The sample consists of 100 respondents selected using accidental sampling. Data was collected through a questionnaire representing eight marketing mix variables (product, price, place, promotion, people, process, physical evidence) and patient satisfaction. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression. The results show that product, price, promotion, place, and people have a positive and significant impact on patient satisfaction, while process and physical evidence do not have a significant effect. The significant positive influence of product is related to the effectiveness of diagnosis, treatment success, and the patient's experience during care. Transparent and fair pricing, as well as effective promotion through social media and word of mouth, increase patient satisfaction. The hospital's strategic location and cleanliness of the environment also contribute to patient satisfaction. Although interactions with medical and non-medical staff have a positive influence, the impact is not significant. Process and physical evidence, although important, are not substantial enough to significantly influence patient satisfaction.

The research sample consists of village officials involved in financial management, selected using a purposive sampling technique. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the SISKEUDES application has a positive impact on the village financial management process, from planning and administration to reporting. The use of this application improves work efficiency, accelerates the preparation of financial reports, and minimizes errors in record-keeping. Additionally, the real-time system in SISKEUDES allows for direct budget monitoring by relevant parties, thereby enhancing accountability and transparency. The challenges found in implementing this application include the limited human resources with inadequate technological skills and unstable internet connectivity. However, these challenges can be addressed through regular training conducted by the local government and BPKP.

Abstract

Gender has become an important issue in the workplace, especially related to its influence on job satisfaction and motivation. This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership, organizational support, compensation, and gender on job motivation, with job satisfaction as a mediating variable. This study was conducted on employees of the Muara Tirta Gorontalo Regional Water Company with a quantitative approach and explanatory design. Data were obtained from 145 respondents who were purposively selected from 609 employees, using a closed questionnaire based on a five-point Likert scale. The analysis was carried out using the path analysis method with the help of Lisrel 8.7 software. The results of the study showed that leadership, organizational support, compensation, and gender had a significant effect on job satisfaction, which then partially mediated the effect on work motivation. Fair gender treatment has been shown to reduce inequality and increase motivation. Compensation and leadership are dominant factors in shaping job satisfaction and motivation. These findings support the Social Exchange Theory which emphasizes the importance of reciprocal relationships between organizations and employees. Practically, the results of this study encourage public sector organizations to implement justice-based policies, effective leadership, and transparent compensation systems to increase work motivation.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic disrupted global economies, impacting financial performance and investor confidence in the Indonesian property and real estate sector. This study aims to evaluate the influence of Net Profit Margin (NPM), Total Asset Turnover (TATO), and Equity Multiplier (EM) on Earnings Per Share (EPS), with Return on Equity (ROE) as an intervening variable. Using path analysis via SmartPLS 3, the study analyzes secondary data from financial statements of 90 property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2019 to 2021. The findings reveal that NPM, TATO, and EM significantly affect ROE, with EM showing the strongest impact due to high leverage. However, NPM and TATO have insignificant direct effects on EPS, while EM significantly influences EPS. ROE strongly mediates the effects of NPM, TATO, and EM on EPS, confirming its role as a critical mediator. These results underscore the importance of balanced leverage and efficient asset utilization for sustaining profitability, offering insights for investors and managers navigating volatile markets.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of loading and unloading service quality, availability of human resources, operational efficiency, and information technology on customer satisfaction simultaneously at PT Pelindo Terminal Petikemas (TPK) Pantoloan, Palu, Central Sulawesi. The research method uses a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The research sample consisted of customers who used TPK Pantoloan port services. The results showed that the four variables simultaneously had a significant effect on customer satisfaction with an F test value of 103.022 and a significance level of 0.000. The determination coefficient (R²) of 0.848 indicates that 84.8% of the variation in customer satisfaction can be explained by the variables of loading and unloading service quality, availability of human resources, operational efficiency, and information technology. These findings confirm the importance of integration between service factors, human resources, efficiency, and technology in improving customer satisfaction at container ports. The managerial implications of this study are the need for continuous improvement in service quality, human resource competency development, optimization of operational efficiency, and more intensive use of information technology. This research makes an empirical contribution to port management, especially in the Central Sulawesi region which has unique operational characteristics.

Abstract

This study investigates the relationship between financial ratios and the financial performance of consumer goods manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2020 to 2023 period. The research was conducted to provide empirical evidence on how internal financial indicators influence company performance, particularly during the post pandemic recovery period. The main objective of this study is to identify which financial ratios, namely profitability, liquidity, solvency, and activity, have the most significant impact on company performance and to determine the extent of their contribution. The research used a quantitative empirical approach with secondary data obtained from audited annual reports, IDX publications, and financial databases. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical techniques, including multiple linear regression, supported by classical assumption tests to ensure the validity of the model. The results show that profitability ratios, specifically Return on Assets (ROA) and Return on Equity (ROE), have the strongest positive influence on firm performance. Solvency ratios have a significant negative effect, while liquidity and activity ratios show moderate to weak relationships. The regression model produced an R squared value of 0.63, indicating that financial ratios collectively explain a large portion of performance variation. These findings emphasize the importance of profitability and prudent debt management in achieving financial stability and sustainable growth.
