Abstract

Aktivitas industry yang berada di Sungai Musi berdampak pada komunitas plankton. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengambil 5 stasiun dengan perbedaan jenis polutan. Hasil yang didapatkan dalam penelitian ini, terdapat 13 sebaran plankton berdasarkan masing-masing stasiun. Stasiun 1 berbeda sedikit sekali persamaan dan kedekatannya dengan stasiun lainnya. Stasiun 2,4,5, dan 3 masing-masing berada pada kuadran 4 dan 2 yang artinya pada stasiun 2,4,5 banyak memiliki kesamaan, namun sedikit sekali memiliki kesamaan dan kedekatan dengan stasiun 3. Stasiun 2,3,4, dan 5 banyak memiliki kedekatan dan kesamaan spesies dengan stasiun1.

Abstract

Study Of Water Quality In The Musi River Area Gandus And Kertapati District. Population in South Sumatra is growing rapidly and creates problems for the provision of clean water, mainly due to domestic waste from community activities and industrial waste around the Musi river. Rivers are natural resources that are very vulnerable to pollution from domestic waste and industrial waste. The Musi River is the largest and longest river in South Sumatra and is used as a source of clean water, which is currently polluted by domestic and industrial waste. This study aims to analyze the quality of river water and determine efforts to control pollution of the Musi river. The method used is a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods. The SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, and Threat) method is used to determine efforts to control water pollution. The results showed that the status of water quality at 5 monitoring points, Musi River waters located at all observation locations at stations 1, 3, 4, and 5 were classified into class C water quality, which was moderately polluted with a successive score of -28, - 21, -30, and -20 while at the observation location station 2 it is classified into class D water quality, which is heavily polluted with a score of -32 based on the US-EPA value system

Abstract

TPA Pelawi is 513 km from residential areas. TPA Pelawi implements an open dumping system. The purpose of this study was to determine the quality of the TPA groundwater and its distribution. Samples were taken as many as 4 stations, namely station 1 is river water, station 2,3, and 4 are groundwater samples. Based on the analysis of the data obtained, the quality of ground water in the Pelawi TPA is moderately polluted, Fe, Zn, Cd, Cr, Mn and Pb metals are found in the groundwater around the Pelawi TPA.

Abstract

Drainage is a facility and infrastructure for channeling rainwater from one place to another. The aim of this research is to calculate the drainage capacity of the primary channel on Jalan Dr. M. Hatta, East Baturaja District. The method used is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The research location is on Jalan Dr. M. Hatta, East Baturaja District to provide input and recommendations for the implementation of the drainage system on Jalan Dr. M. Hatta  After re-planning the drainage dimensions of the primary channel on Jalan Dr M. Hatta, the channel that has been re-planned is able to carry the planned discharge because Q channel > Q planned. as a result of the channel dimensions being inadequate to channel the flood discharge that occurs. Therefore, re-planning of the channel dimensions is necessary. The proposed design indicates variations in channel width and depth, with T ranging from 3 to 4 m, B from 2.0 to 3.5 m, and h from 1.4 to 1.6 m along Sta. 1–6.
