Abstract

Cogreg Village in Parung District, Bogor Regency, has great potential in the micro, small and medium enterprise (MSME) sector, especially through the Kemuning Mandiri UKM which operates in the field of processed catfish and snacks. However, these SMEs face various challenges such as inadequate product packaging, limited marketing, and low awareness and knowledge about work safety (K3). These problems hinder competitiveness and business growth. This research aims to implement solutions in the form of socialization, training and application of sealer technology to improve product quality, work safety and production efficiency. Through the stages of socialization, training, technology application, mentoring, and program sustainability, the results achieved show a significant increase in technical knowledge and K3 practices, optimization of product packaging, and expansion of business networks. Before the intervention, products were packaged manually with low shelf life and limited marketing. After training, products have better, consistent and safer packaging quality, and there is an increase in partners' understanding of the importance of SOP and K3. This program not only increases product competitiveness but also contributes to strengthening the local economy. Thus, this research makes a real contribution in increasing the capacity and quality of Kemuning Mandiri UKM products in a sustainable manner

Abstract

Program pengabdian masyarakat bertema “Edukasi Lansia untuk Penggunaan YouTubesebagai Sarana Hiburan dan Edukasi” bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi digital lansiadi Daerah Bekasi. Program ini dirancang untuk membantu lansia memahami penggunaanplatform YouTube sebagai media edukasi dan hiburan yang relevan, serta mengatasikendala dalam penggunaan teknologi. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada 18 Oktober 2024,diikuti oleh 42 lansia, dengan pendekatan terstruktur meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan,penerapan teknologi, pendampingan, dan evaluasi. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa lebih dari80% peserta berhasil memahami dasar-dasar penggunaan perangkat digital dan aplikasiYouTube. Selain itu, kepercayaan diri lansia dalam menggunakan teknologi meningkatsignifikan, memungkinkan mereka untuk lebih mandiri dan aktif dalam mengaksesinformasi digital. Hambatan seperti perbedaan tingkat pemahaman, akses internet terbatas,dan kepercayaan diri rendah berhasil diatasi melalui pendekatan adaptif. Program inidiharapkan dapat direplikasi di wilayah lain untuk mempersempit kesenjangan digital dikalangan lansia.

Abstract

The increasing demand for reliable and high-performance Wi-Fi networks in educational institutions necessitates efficient infrastructure management. However, many schools still face issues such as poor signal strength and inefficient bandwidth allocation. This study aims to optimize Wi-Fi network infrastructure and bandwidth management using Mikrotik technology, addressing these limitations through strategic access point (AP) placement, Queue Tree-based bandwidth allocation, and real-time monitoring. A mixed-methods approach was used, combining quantitative performance measurements and qualitative user feedback. Results show significant improvements, with signal strength increasing from -83 dBm to -34 dBm, download speeds reaching 41.52 Mbps, and reduced latency in high-traffic areas. These findings suggest that proper infrastructure design and bandwidth management strategies can enhance network stability and efficiency in educational environments. This study contributes to the field by providing a practical model for Wi-Fi optimization in schools, potentially benefiting similar institutions globally.

Abstract

The Integrated Service Post (Pos Pelayanan Terpadu or POSYANDU) is a monthly activity center aimed at monitoring toddlers under five years old. The Posyandu Application plays a vital role in public service due to its ability to simplify complex tasks and reduce the time required for tasks that were once time-consuming. The aim of this research is to implement an application to regularly monitor the growth and nutritional intake of toddlers. As its execution is still manual, Posyandu cadres face difficulties in data retrieval and recording similar names in different formats. Moreover, mothers find it challenging to monitor their children's growth solely through the Posyandu book, as in this modern era, they are more inclined towards using gadgets rather than reading books. This research applies the waterfall method, a development model following the classic life cycle. This method employs sequential and systematic phases, along with Blackbox testing for system validation. The research results in a Posyandu data processing application that supports reporting services for child growth and development at Posyandu. Furthermore, the application facilitates parents or mothers in presenting information for monitoring their children's immunization.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effects of cinnamon (Cinnamomum burmannii) extraction temperature and duration on the physicochemical and organoleptic characteristics of herbal paper soap. The experiment involved three extraction temperatures (60°C, 70°C, and 80°C) and two extraction durations (15 and 20 minutes), resulting in six treatment combinations. The findings indicate that an extraction temperature of 60°C for 15 minutes produced the best moisture content, and foam stability, while the optimal free alkali content was obtained at 80°C for 20 minutes. The highest antibacterial activity was observed at 70°C for 15 minutes. In the organoleptic evaluation, the best color scoring was achieved at 60°C for 20 minutes, aroma scoring at 80°C for 20 minutes, and thickness scoring at 60°C for 15 minutes. Further analysis revealed that extraction temperature and duration significantly influenced the physicochemical properties, including free alkali content, foam stability, and skin irritation, as well as organoleptic characteristics such as color, aroma, and thickness. However, these factors had no significant effect on moisture content and antibacterial activity. Overall, the paper soap met the quality standards outlined in SNI 06-3532-2016, except for free alkali content, which exceeded the maximum allowable limit of 0.1%, making it non-compliant with soap quality standards

Abstract

This study aims to design and develop a web-based helpdesk ticketing application to address the manual service management problems at PT Centrepark Citra Corpora. The method used is Rapid Application Development (RAD), which allows for rapid and iterative system development based on user feedback. The resulting system is a web-based helpdesk application featuring role-based login, ticket management, technician reporting, status notifications, and report generation. System design was based on user requirements analysis, visualized through a use case diagram and implemented within an integrated database structure. The system was tested using black-box testing and involved 10 internal users across three main roles (admin, technician, and client). Test results indicated that all features functioned as expected and were well received by users. The application has proven to improve efficiency, traceability, and documentation of internal technical services. This system is expected to support digital transformation initiatives and can be replicated in other organizations with similar service management needs.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a web-based Posyandu information system to improve the efficiency and accuracy of child health record keeping in preventing stunting. The system was designed to address the challenges faced by Posyandu Pamuji Rahayu in Banyurata Village, Kebumen, which still relies on a manual record-keeping system prone to damage and data loss. Using the Waterfall system development methodology, this study resulted in a system that allows both cadres and parents to access child health data digitally, improving transparency and the effectiveness of monitoring children's growth. The testing results show that the system successfully enhanced efficiency, facilitated data entry, and enabled early detection of stunting through visualizations of children's growth graphs. Despite challenges in digital literacy among cadres and limited internet access in remote areas, the findings indicate that the web-based system has great potential for broader implementation in supporting stunting prevention programs at Posyandu.

Abstract

This study aims to design and implement a web-based Point of Sales (POS) application as a solution to automate the stationery sales process at Wesley Pelita Bangsa School. The existing manual sales management causes inefficiencies and potential errors in stock recording and financial reporting. The development method used is the Waterfall model, which includes the stages of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and literature review to ensure that both functional and non-functional system requirements were met. The implemented POS system successfully automates stock reduction during transactions, automatic receipt generation, and accurate, easily accessible sales reporting. System testing using Blackbox Testing demonstrated that the application operates according to specifications without significant errors. Therefore, this application can improve operational efficiency, reduce recording errors, and support the smooth learning process at Wesley Pelita Bangsa School. This research provides practical contributions to sales management and can serve as a reference for developing similar systems in non-formal educational environments.

Abstract

This research aims to design and implement a web-based project management system at Fanaya Art Construction. The system is designed to facilitate project management, from data collection, progress tracking, to automatic report generation. The user interface design approach prioritizes intuitiveness and responsiveness, making navigation easier and ensuring easy access across various devices. The Black Box method is used in system testing to ensure that the system functionality meets user needs. Using CodeIgniter, MySQL, and technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, the system centrally manages project and client data, accelerates the reporting process, and enhances team collaboration. The implementation of this system has shown improvements in operational efficiency and more transparent and structured project management at Fanaya Art Construction.

Abstract

PT. Buntariva Mitra Solusi, which is engaged in providing services, faces significant problems due to the use of manual systems in managing service requests, employee data, and evaluating service provider performance, which causes delays in the process and decreases the level of client trust. This study aims to design and implement an integrated web platform that is able to automate and unify all of the company's main business processes, including service request management, employee data management, contract arrangements, and real-time monitoring and evaluation of service provider performance. The development method applied is the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with a waterfall model, which allows for systematic and structured project management. The platform implementation is carried out using the PHP programming language, MySQL database, and Apache as a web server. System testing is carried out using the Black Box method to ensure that all functions run according to specifications without any significant errors. The test results show that the system can increase transparency, speed up operational processes, and provide easy access to information for management and clients.
