Abstract

Penelitian kali ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis beban kerja yang dialami serta mengidentifikasi penyebab beban kerja berlebih yang dirasakan operatori di PT X. PT X merupakan sebuah perusahaan yang bergerak di sector industry yang memproduksi berbagai macam jenis roller.Subjek penelitian kali ini adalah 16 operator produksi di PT X. Beban kerja yang diukur adalah beban kerja fisik dan mental yang diolah dengan menggunakan metode Cardiovascular Load(CVL), Metode NASA – Task Load Index (NASA TLX), Metode Workload Analysis(WLA). Manfaat dari penelitian kali ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar tingkatan beban kerja baik fisik dan mental yang dialami oleh PT X serta mengetahui apakah jumlah pekerja sudah sesuai dengan standard optimal beban kerja operator. Berdasarkan hasil analisis Metode NASA- Task Load Index (NASA TLX) terdapat 9 operator yang mengalami beban kerja mental berat dimana operator yang menerima beban mental terberat adalah operator las titik dengan indeks WWL sebesar 80%. Berdasarkan hasil analisis metode Cardiovascular Load (CVL) terdapat 2 operator yang mengalami beban kerja fisik berlebih dengan beban kerja fisik terberat dialami oleh operator las titik dengan persentase Cardiovascular load sebesar 43.5 %.Berdasarkan Hasil analisis dengan metode Workload Analysis didapati bahwa divisi welding di PT X mengalami beban kerja berlebih dengan besaran WLA sebesar 108 % . Usulan perbaikan yang diberikan berupa penambahan tenaga kerja divisi pengelasan,penempatan job description berdasarkan factor usia, penambahan alat bantu suhu ruangan, pemberian music, pengembangan departemen konseling, pemberian pelatihan serta menerapkan kebijakan rekreasi Kata kunci: Beban Kerja Fisik, Beban Kerja Mental, Cardiovascular Load, Nasa – TLX, Workload Analysis

Abstract

Sejak awal tahun 2020, tepatnya mulai pada bulan Maret, seluruh dunia dilanda oleh wabah virus COVID-19. Hal ini membawa begitu banyak dampak terhadap berbagai aspek kehidupan manusia. Salah satu aspek yang terkena dampak nya yaitu aspek pendidikan. Sistem pembelajaran yang biasanya berjalan secara luring, berubah menjadi diadakan secara daring. Berdasarkan laporan oleh ABC news pada tanggal 7 Maret 2020, puluhan negara terpaksa harus menutup sekolah. Banyak sekolah ditutup untuk memperkecil rantai penyebaran virus COVID-19. Aspek pendidikan merupakan aspek yang penting dalam rangka menghasilkan generasi yang berwawasan dan berintegritas. Tentunya, dengan diadakannya sistem pembelajaran secara online/daring membuat beban tersendiri bagi para pelajar maupun mahasiswa. Diperlukan waktu yang cukup untuk beradaptasi pada model pembelajaran yang baru ini. Ditambah lagi, sistem pembelajaran yang dijalankan dari rumah atau learn from home malah nyatanya membuat para pelajar lebih mudah teralihkan fokus nya oleh berbagai macam kegiatan yang ada. Pola belajar yang dijalankan pemerintah yaitu pembelajaran online mempengaruhi juga siswa SMA dan SMK. Tujuan dari dilakukannya penelitian ini yaitu menganalisis seperti apa beban kerja mental yang dialami oleh para siswa SMA dan SMK selama pembelajaran online. Pengukuran beban kerja mental dilakukan terhadap 50 siswa SMA dan 50 siswa SMK yang berada di wilayah Jakarta Utara. Metode pengukuran beban kerja mental yang digunakan yaitu; NASA-TLX, SWAT (Subjective Workload Assessment Technique), dan RSME (Rating Scale Mental Effort). Hasil perhitungan 73,39 menunjukan rata-rata skor yang ditanggung oleh para siswa SMA dan SMK berkategori cukup berat dan berat. Hasil perhitungan RSME memberikan rata-rata skor 80,89 dengan keterangan beban kerja mental berat.

Abstract

Peningkatan produktivitas dapat dilakukan dengan memperbaiki lingkungan kerja dengan ilmu ergonomi agar menjadi lebih nyaman dan menurunkan waktu menganggur dari pengerjaan suatu produk. Penelitian ini dilakukan di stasiun kerja painting pada PT. X yang merupakan sebuah perusahaan yang bergerak di industri jasa pengecatan powder coating. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi keluhan dan menganalisis postur tubuh pekerja, menghitung waktu baku dan waktu menganggur pekerja, merancang alat bantu kerja yang kuat, melakukan simulasi, dan memberikan usulan perbaikan agar dapat meningkatkan kenyamanan pekerja saat bekerja, meminimalisir waktu menganggur serta mengurangi waktu kerja lembur. Metode ergonomic yang digunakan yaitu kuisioner Nordic Body Map dan REBA, sedangkan untuk menghitung waktu baku menggunakan stopwatch time study dan peta pekerja dan mesin untuk memetakan waktu menganggur. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif karena data yang akan diambil dan diolah akan disajikan dalam bentuk numerik. Usulan perbaikan yang diberikan yaitu dengan merancangan alat bantu kerja berupa meja kerja, hanger, dan tangga kecil. Hasil simulasi uji kekuatan dari ketiga alat bantu kerja dapat dinyatakan kuat untuk menahan beban yang telah ditentukan dan hasil simulasi terhadap postur tubuh pekerja dapat menurunkan skor REBA sebesar 7 dan 6 untuk kedua aktivitasnya. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan, pengurangan waktu menganggur terbesar terdapat pada pekerja pertama di proses spraying dengan waktu 4,62 detik atau 14,9% menjadi sebesar 0,2 detik atau 0,65% serta terdapat peningkatan kapasitas produksi pengecatan sebesar 16,67% dari keadaan sebelumnya. Dengan hasil tersebut dapat diketahui bahwa perancangan alat bantu kerja dapat mengatasi permasalahan yang terdapat pada perusahaan.

Abstract

Work fatigue is an important aspect and is very influential in determining the level of accidents, especially motorbike accidents. According to WHO, almost 30% of all deaths due to road accidents involve two- and three-wheel­ed motorized vehicles, such as motorbikes, mopeds, scooters and electric bicycles (e-bikes), and the number continues to increase. Motor­cycles dominate road deaths in many low- and middle-income countries, where nine out of ten traffic accident deaths occur among motorcyclists, as in Indonesia. However, until now, in Indonesia, there has been no monitor­ing system capable of identifying fatigue in motorbike drivers in the transportation sector. This research aims to determine fatigue patterns based on driver working hours and create a sensor system to monitor fatigue measurements in real-time to reduce the number of accidents. The research began with processing questionnaire data with Pearson correlation, which showed a close relationship between driver fatigue and driving time and a close relationship between fatigue and increased heart rate and sweating levels. From calibration tests with an error of 3% and direct measurements of working conditions, it was found that two-wheeled vehicle driver fatigue occurs after 2-3 hours of work. With a measurement system using the Box Whiskers analysis method, respondents' working conditions can also be de­ter­mined, which are divided into 4 zones, namely zone 1 (initial condition or good condition), zone 2 a declining condition, zone 3 a tired condition and zone 4 is a resting condition. Hopefully, this research will identify fati­gue zones correctly and reduce the number of accidents because it can iden­tify tired drivers so they do not have to force themselves to continue working and driving their motorbikes. As a conclusion from this research, a measure­ment system using two sensors, such as ECG and GSR can identify work fatigue zones well and is expected to reduce the number of accidents due to work fatigue.

Abstract

This research is located in conventional car washes where there are still many who use human labor in carrying out car wash activities. The posture during the car wash is considered less ergonomic, so this study aims to help car wash workers reduce their fatigue and even help their work position become more ergonomic. This research began with observations at the car wash and also interviews with workers. Interviews with the workers were conducted using the Nordic Body Map (NBM). Based on the results of observations and interviews, it was determined that the working posture was considered less ergonomic where there were three working postures, namely the posture when taking the water hose, the posture of washing the side of the car, and the posture of washing the top of the car. The three postures that are considered problematic are analyzed using the Workplace Ergonomic Risk Assessment (WERA) to determine the value of their ergonomics. When he learned that the three postures were problematic, the research continued by designing tools to reduce workload, this design was carried out using the VDI 2222 method. Designing with the VDI 2222 method there are 4 stages, namely analysis, concept, design, and completion. By using the VDI 2222 method, the concept, size, and specifications needed for belts and seats are known as a car washing aid. The last stage of this study is to re-analyze with the WERA method on all three postures but with the help of tools.

Abstract

Material handling is one of the things that is often a problem for both large companies and MSMEs. One example of a manual material handling problem occurs in MSMEs Tirta 88 as a provider of drinking water in gallons. The average sales of gallon refillable water at MSMEs Tirta 88 over the past 6 months is 348 gallons / day. Therefore, workers at MSMEs Tirta 88 have many complaints. The complaint data collection uses a Nordic Body Map (NBM) questionnaire. Then the work posture assessment using the Rapid Entire Body (REBA) method and the Workplace Ergonomy Risk Assessment (WERA). The design method used is VDI 2221. The results of this study are in the form of a new 3D gallon basket design that is in accordance with the anthropometry of workers in MSMEs Tirta 88 and will be implemented. Before being implemented, a 3D design simulation analysis was carried out in order to determine the decrease in Rapid Entire Body (REBA) and Workplace Ergonomy Risk Assessment (WERA) scores. The simulation results showed a decrease in the Rapid Entire Body (REBA) score to four for all postures and the Workplace Ergonomy Risk Assessment (WERA) to 35 for two postures and 30 for one posture.

Abstract

Occupational accidents are unexpected events, because accidents that cause injuries, disabilities, up to the worst can result in death, or the cessation of the production process. PT. Indofood Fortuna Makmur is a manufacturing company engaged in the production of snacks. In production activities, potential work hazards can be found easily in work areas, in warehouses, production departments and packing departments. During 2021-2022 there were several work accidents that occurred due to worker negligence or potential hazards from the work environment. Based on the results of the HIRARC table for the warehouse, production and packing departments, it can be seen that the most high risks occur in the production department and the results of interviews with employees with the potential for work accidents are more common in the production department. part. One of the risks of work accidents that often occur is workers slipping because of slippery floors. To analyze and carry out implementation in reducing the risk of work accidents, in addition to using the HIRARC method to identify and analyze potential hazard risks, the HAZOP method to classify or classify potential hazards, and the FMEA method are used to determine priority sequences for handling work accidents. The results of this study are in the form of proposed improvements and implementation of the production process of potato chips and tempeh chips at PT. Indofood Fortuna Makmur. The implementation that has been carried out is the use of safety shoes for the production floor area, the use of food tongs in the sorting area, the installation of K3 displays, the socialization of K3. Based on the implementation results that have been carried out, there has been a change in potential risk.

Abstract

Today's increasingly rapid industrial development means that companies must pay attention to several things during the production process so that they can face the tough competition, one of which is by paying more attention to the quality of their products and the risks that could result in the product becoming defective so that it can meet customer satisfaction. Labor is one of the important factors that a company has, for this reason, an even workload and in accordance with capacity is one of the things that greatly influences the performance of the workforce to produce products that comply with standards. This analysis uses several methods, including: cardio vascular load, full time equivalent, and line balancing. This research aims to provide suggestions for improvements that are expected to reduce the workload of production workers and waiting times at PT. From the research carried out, it can be concluded that materials mixing workstations experience excessive workload or are overloaded so that work on these workstations is less than optimal, so that more operator power is needed or additional operators are needed at materials mixing workstations. The packing work station experiences underload or underload so it is necessary to reduce operators so that it does not become a burden on the company, especially in salary expenses.

Abstract

New days the cutlery rack as a storage place for cutlery such as plates, cups and spoons. Cleanliness of cutlery is a very important and influential part of food and drink, cutlery that is not washed clean can cause organisms or germs that are left behind to multiply and contaminate food. The results of the questionnaire 59% stated that it was difficult for the community to arrange cutlery. This happens because people place cutlery in a messy or not well-organized manner. In this study, a redesign of the existing food equipment racks was carried out. The design was carried out using the ergonomics method, the AHP reverse engineering method and VDI 2221. The results of the research and redesign of cutlery rack products that had been carried out using the AHP method were used to determine community needs analysis while to find out the design to be made was carried out by ergonomics method, reverse engineering, and VDI 2221. After these methods were carried out, the product design results were obtained with a length of 440 mm, a width of 550 mm, and a height of 600 mm. Furthermore, the product is made with the concept that has been selected, namely variant concept 3 using materials such as teak wood and UV Sterilizer lamps. This product targets people who need a neat and clean place to store food equipment.

Abstract

Turn signal lights or rearview mirror are useful as markers when you want to turn right and left when you are at a corner, a T-junction, or an intersection. By turning on one side of the light, namely the right or left, it gives information to the riders behind and in front that you want to turn. Several factors can cause motorists to forget to turn off the turn signal, such as lack of concentration or the color of the turn signal during the day is less visible. Turn signal lights that stay on can confuse other motorists. Confusion of other drivers can break the concentration of road users and cause traffic accidents. With the aim of researching the causes of turn signal lights that keep on and confuse other people, a questionnaire was distributed to motorists. The research method used is AHP by distributing questionnaires to motorists and the result is the design of a 'Smart Light Spion' for the development of motorcycle accessories.
