Abstract

The Characterization and Identification of Plant Natural Dye Tenun PegringsinganTenganan Village. The aim of the research was to know the dyeing process and the kind ofplant dyes are used in the manufacture of dye Pegringsingan in the village of Tenganan andthe plant characterize morphological and agronomic. The method used in this study wasexplorative and survey method. Implementation of the study consisted of three phases ofactivities, namely (1) the collection of secondary data, (2) surveys various plants natural dyeused for tenun pegringsingan and distribution, and (3) the identification of morphological andagronomic characters. The results showed there were four plant dyes for tenun pegringsingani.e sunti or noni (Morinda citrifolia) as a red dye, walnut (Aleurites moluccana (L.) Willd ) asa yellow dye, kepundung white or red (Baccaurea racemosa Var. white, Baccaurea racemosaVar. red), taum (Indigofera sp) producing a blue color.

Abstract

The Effect of Dose and Time of Application of Green Manure of Lamtoro (Leucaena leucocephala (Lam.) de Wit) on The Chemical Properties of Soil and Plant Yield of Corn (Zea mays L.) in Village Mauboke, District Of Liquiça East Timor. Corn (Zea mays L.) as food, is a source of carbohydrate both after the rice, besides corn was also used the livestock feed ingredients and raw materials industry. Low crop yields at dryland farming areas is generally associated with poor soil physical and chemical properties. The application of green lamtoro, at appropriate rate and time is expected to be able to improve the soil fertility and in the end to increase crop yields. A Field experiments was conducted atvillage Mauboke, district Liquiça of Timor Leste, to know the effects of rates and time of application green lamtoro on the soil chemical properties and the yield of corn. The experiment was done from February until July 2016. A randomized completed block designwith two factors of treatment arranged factorially, was used in this experiment. The treatment consisted of greenfertilizer lamtoro 5, 10 and 15 tha-1and times of application 1, 2, 3 and 4 weeks before planting. All treatment were replicated three times. Results of experimentindicated that the interaction between rates and time of application of green fertilizer lamtoro real effects of soil N-total, number of plant and extensive index leaf, fresh brangkasanweight plants, brangkasan oven dry weight plants. The heighest oven dry seed weight was also resulted from the same rate 15 tha-1the highest 14,46% wish was not significantly. The time of green fertilizer lamtoro of 4 MST the best improved fertility of soil chemical on the rate of 15 tha-1 with the increase of C-organic of 37,90% lowest 20,93%, P-available 76,27% lowest 26.58%, K-available 100,79% lowest 21,35%. The best rate ofgreenfertilizerlamtoro 15 tha-1highest 3.7 tha-1shelled dry. The soil with similar soil condition with that ofthe experimentrecommended that the utilizing of rate green fertilizer lamtoro 15 tha-1with time application of 4 MST the increased production of corn crops.

Abstract

Vegetations Analysis As A Basic ForAgroforestry Development In Micro Watershed TukadSumaga Village, Gerokgak District, Buleleng Regency.Forest changed to agricultural hasconsciousness can effected many problems such as soil degradations, erosion, flora and fauna extinctions,floods, dryness, and even global environmental change. Agroforestry is one of solutions to protect thebiodiversity. The research was held at Micro Watershed Tukad Sumaga Village, Gerokgak District,Buleleng Regency which consist of intercropping agroforestry system, alley cropping agroforestry system,and the trees for soil conservations agroforestry system. The purpose of this research is to discoverbiodiversity and composition of vegetations species in each agroforestry system and also to find out theagroforestry management level at Micro Watershed Tukad Sumaga Village. The research result showsthat the biggest Important Value Index (INP) in intercropping agroforestry system is in trees level bymango at 59.46%, scrubs and sapling level by teak at 80.13%, seddling level by gosh bean at 49.57%.The biggest INP in Alley Cropping Agroforestry System is in trees level by cashew at 150.33%, scrubsand saplings level by lamtoro at 95.26%, seedling level by legetan at 84,93%. The biggest INP in TheTrees for Soil Conservations Agroforestry System is in trees level by tamarind at 165,35%, %, scrubsand saplings level by india apple at 114.09%, seedling level by legetan at 83.98%. The calculations ofspecies biodiversity which as species variety, prevalent index, and domination index can separated themanagement level in each agroforestry system. The best management is Intercropping AgroforestrySystem. The second is The Trees for Soil Conservations Agroforestry System. The last is Alley CroppingAgroforestry System. The development of Intercropping Agroforestry System is needed because thissystem is the best. Monitoring, evaluations, and technical learning about forest and agricultural plantationare needed for increasing the social benefit dan preventing the deforestations.

Abstract

Adaptation Test of Paddy Rice (Oryza sativa L.) Expected Line Against Results and Disease Resilience Tungro Disease in Subak Lepang, Takmung Village, Klungkung Regency. Adaptation test of expected line paddy (Oryza sativa L) on its yield and tungro-resistance in Subak Lepang were conducted from July to September 2016. The aims of this test were to examine the growth and productivity of expected line paddy and its resistance to tungro. Twelve lines and two comparated varieties were set using Randomized Block Design. Dependent variable were growth, yield and age of 50% productive spikelets were gain, duration of yield, number of panicles, length of panicle, number of filled spikelets in each panicle, number of empty spikelets in each panicle, total spikelets, sweed set, weight of 1000 spikelets, weight of 14% water content of 1000 spikelets, weight of dry spikelets in a hectare (ton) and precentage of tungro’s invation. Statistical analisis showed that BP16732E-1 as expected line was well adapted to test, which were give better growth, yield and tungro resistency, and 13.139% higher yield compared to Ciherang variety. Future research on adaptation in different season and ecosystem should be conducted to determine this strain as new supreme strain.

Abstract

Identification and Characterization of Fruit Genetic Resources in Buleleng Regency. Fruits have great potential to be developed both to meet the needs of domestic and foreign demand, because the fruits is a source of supply of vitamins, minerals, and fiber needed in the daily menu. Several types of fruit are also required as spa, medicines, and as a means of upakara. One of the prospective development of fruits in Bali is Buleleng. Types of fruit in Buleleng are grape, mango, durian, rambutan and banana. Until now there has been generally identified genetic resources fruits in Buleleng. This study aims to identify, profile and draw up a map of the geographic distribution of genetic resources of fruits in Buleleng. Implementation of the study consists of four activities, namely: secondary data collection, survey of the types of genetic resources and distribution, identification of morphological and agronomic characters of each type of genetic resources and the growing environment and the benefits of fruits. The seeded fruit is determined by Location Quotion (LQ). Based on the observations in the field, Buleleng has a wide range of genetic resources. In a direct observation to the field there are 32 kinds of fruit and 31 sub-types of fruit. Fruits are grouped based on the economic value and their role, including: commercial fruit, rare fruit, fruit for upakara and fruit for medicine. Based on the calculation of LQ method, Buleleng has four featured i.e. avocado, grape, mango and rambutan (LQ>1).

Abstract

The Effect of Bran Type and Seed Derivatives on The Growth and Yield of Red Oyster Mushroom (Pleurotus flabellatus). Jenis dedak dan turunan benih merupakan faktor yang berperan terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil jamur tiram merah (Pleurotus flabellatus). Jamur tiram dapat tumbuh alami atau dapat memanfaatkan media tanam serbuk kayu yang disebut baglog. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menemukan jenis dedak, turunan benih dan kombinasi yang terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil jamur tiram merah. Perlakuan terdiri atas dua faktor yang didesain dengan rancangan acak kelompok (RAK). Faktor pertama adalah jenis dedak yang terdiri atas dedak beras putih, dedak beras merah dan dedak gandum. Faktor kedua adalah turunan benih yang terdiri atas benih F2, benih F3 dan benih F4, semua perlakuan diulang lima kali. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh interaksi antara perlakuan jenis dedak dan turunan benih pada setiap variabel yang diamati, kecuali pada panjang tangkai tudung pada panen kedua dan keempat, diameter tudung pada panen pertama dan keempat. Jenis dedak beras merah dan turunan benih F2 menghasilkan berat segar jamur per baglog setiap panen tertinggi dari panen 1, 2, 3 dan 4 masing-masing yaitu 66,59 g, 64,77 g, 50,30 g dan 36,34 g. Jenis dedak beras merah dan turunan benih F2 memberikan hasil total panen berat segar jamur per baglog tertinggi yaitu 217,99 g.

Abstract

Calculated Carbon Values of The Forest in Bali Province In its position as a life support system, the forest has been of great benefit to humankind, therefore, should be preserved. in its position as a life support system. Current issues that has not been the effort to determine the carbon content of vegetation contained in the forest in Bali Province so is not known how important the existence of the forest. This study is intended to complete the task and provide a general description of the importance of forests as a buffer of life. Implementation of forest carbon values ??calculated using the data of the activities Permanent Sample Plots (PSP) in Bali Province processed to obtain the amount of biomass and amount of carbon. Composition of the stands in each plot by arranging the order of INV species of minimum value to maximum INV the maximum in each plot ranged from 39.79% to 165.31% . forest stand structure in order of number of poles minimum value to a maximum of 35 rods ranging up to 249 while the number of tree trunks as much as 39 to 178 rods. the average diameter of stands in each plot ranged from 11.24 cm to 36.65 cm . forest stand structure in each plot based on high order of maximum to minimum values ??ranging from 2 m to 5 m , while the maximum height ranges from 8 m to 26 m . average height standing of tree in each plot ranged from 4.85 m to 10.48 m. forest stand volume ranged from 104.93 t C/ha to 287.38 t C/ha with an average value of carbon 168.72 t C/ha. The entire plot is in the province of Bali is dominated by stands of the carbon value of class 60-80 t C/ha with a total area of ??6 ha plot, followed by the class standing of the carbon value of 100-200 t C/ha and 80-100t C/ha, with the total area of ??the plot in a row 3 and 2 ha, as well as by class standing of the carbon value <60 t C/ha and> 120 t C/ha, with a total area of each plot of 1 ha.

Abstract

The Effects of 2-iP and NAA on The Growth of Dendrobium Hybrid Plantlets of in Subculture. The research was conducted during period of May to October 2016 at The Laboratory of Plant Tissue Culture, Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University. The research employed a completely randomized design with 9 treatments and 3 replicates. The treatment were ZA = MS + 1 ppm 2-iP + 0,00 ppm NAA; ZB = MS + 1 ppm 2-iP + 0,25 ppm NAA; ZC = MS + 1 ppm 2-iP + 0,50 ppm NAA; ZD = MS + 2 ppm 2-iP + 0,00 ppm NAA; ZE = MS + 2 ppm 2-iP + 0,25 ppm NAA; ZF = MS + 2 ppm 2-iP + 0,50 ppm NAA; ZG = MS + 3 ppm 2-iP + 0,00 ppm NAA; ZH = MS + 3 ppm 2-iP + 0,25 ppm NAA; ZI = MS + 3 ppm 2-iP + 0,50 ppm NAA. The result showed that treatment of 2-iP and NAA significantly affected number of leaves, length of leaves, total of fresh weight and oven dry weight of plantlet. The concentration of 2 ppm 2-iP and 0,00 ppm NAA was the best treatment for optimal growth for Dendrobium plantlet during subculture.

Abstract

The Effect of Trichoderma spp. on Growth, Yield, and Presence of the Diseases in Peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.). The consumption of peanuts is increasing together with increasing population, increasing nutrition, food diversification and increasing the capacity of the food and animal feed industry. However, the supply of peanuts in Indonesia is continues decline due to low soil nutrients and leaf rust attacks. The efforts can be made to increase peanut productions by applying Trichoderma spp. in peanut seeds. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Trichoderma spp. on the growth and yield of peanut plants, identifying the effect of Trichoderma spp. on the resistance of peanut plants to disease and know the best type of Trichoderma spp. for peanut plants. The design used in this study was a randomized block design (RCBD) with the treatment of a single factor type Tricoderma spp. which consists of 7 levels, namely: control, T. koningii, T. viride, T.asperellum, T. harzianum, T. ressei and T. asperellum Bedugul Bali. The treatment was repeated 4 times. The experimental results showed that the treatment of Trichoderma spp. significant until very significant effect on most of the observation variables. The best Trichoderma spp. is T. asperellum which has a very significant effect on the total number of pods (24.25 pods), weight of pods contained/plant (62.43 g), number of seeds/plant (62.75 seeds), and lowest leaf rust intensity (34,51%).

Abstract

Study of the Number of the Amount of Beed a Hole Planting and Packages Fertilizer onGrowth and Yield of Mung Bean (Vigna radiata L.) Varieties Vima-1. Mung bean (Vignaradiata L.) is one of bean plant – nuts for many consumption in Indonesia. The low productwas’nt cultivation techniques that supposed to, including the amount of seed each holeplanting and fertilizer giving them. The study aims to determine the amount seed hole theplanting and fertilizer best to the growth and yield of mung bean varieties vima-1. Researchcarried out in Subak Basangbe, Perean Kangin village, Baturiti – Tabanan, in October –December, 2014. The study was designed using a factorial randomized block design. The firstfactor the amount of seed a hole planting (1, 2, 3 seed), factor two of fertilizer (organicfertilizer compost, fertilizer chemical urea + TSP + KCl, organic fertilizer liquid biourin,organic fertilizer compost and fertilizer chemical urea + TSP + KCl, organic fertilizercompost and organic fertilizer liquid biourin, fertilizer chemical urea + TSP + KCl andorganic fertilizer liquid biourin). The growth of mung bean varieties Vima-1 is mainly ofplant height and number of leaves affected very real by the number of seeds planting hole andfertilizer package. Treatment of the amount of seed planting hole and fertilizer packages tovery significant effect on yield components, especially the number of pods and number ofseeds of plants on mung bean varieties Vima-1. Treatment of the amount of seed planting holeaffects most of the components of plant growth and yield components of mung bean. Thehighest yield on three planting seeds per hole that is 3,67 t / ha dry weight oven.
