Abstract

This research aims to analyze the factors affecting loyalty of Tupperware customers. Estimated factors that affect customer loyalty are product quality, price, promotion, and design variables. This research is an explanatory research. Sampling technique is a purposive sampling, with a sample of 100 Tupperware customers at Diponegoro University. The analysis method used in this research is a multiple linear regression analysis. The result of this study indicates that product quality, price, promotion, and design variables are factors that significantly affect customer loyalty. Price variable is the most influential factor to customer loyalty. The coefficient of determination of 0.854 indicates that 85.4 percent of variation in customer loyalty can be explained by four independent variables used in the regression equation. This research suggests Tupperware keep the quality of its products and enchance promotion. The product design should be more interesting to make people more loyal to this product.

Abstract

This study was conducted to analyze the performance of the service of tax authorities, Taxation Services and Tax Compliance of taxpayers and the influence tax authorities Services and Taxation Services to the personal taxpayer compliance in Semarang District. The study using a survey research approach. The population in this study were all individual taxpayers in the district of Semarang. Sampling method using judgment sampling with a sample of 100 taxpayers. Methods of data collection using questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis. The study concluded that: (a) variable of tax authorities service had no significant effect on the variable Taxpayer Compliance; (b) Taxation Services has positive and significant effect on Taxpayer Compliance; (c) variable service of tax authorities and Taxation Services simultaneously have significant effect on Taxpayer Compliance. The research suggestions: (a) taxation socialization should be increased so that all taxpayers know that they have choices and ease to report SPT; (b) Tax Officer must more Proactive and communicative to the taxpayers; (c) rewards and punishments apply to the taxpayer in accordance with the legislation in force; (d) variable service of tax authorities and Taxation Service has simultaneously contributed influences on taxpayer compliance is relatively small at only 16.7 percent. It is therefore recommended for future studies to examine several other factors, such as the understanding of the self-assessment system, education level, income level, tax penalties, or because of attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control.Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk menganalisis kinerja Pelayanan Fiskus, Pelayanan Perpajakan dan Kepatuhan Wajib Pajak serta pengaruh Pelayanan Fiskus dan Pelayanan Perpajakan Wajib Pajak terhadap kepatuhan Wajib Pajak Orang Pribadi di Kabupaten Semarang. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan survey. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh WP Orang Pribadi (OP) di Kabupaten Semarang. Metode penarikan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik judgement Sampling dengan jumlah sampel 100 WP. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan Kuesioner, Wawancara, dan Dokumentasi. Analisis menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda. Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa: (a) Pelayanan Fiskus tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel Kepatuhan WP; (b) Pelayanan Perpajakan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap variabel Kepatuhan WP; (c) Variabel Pelayanan Fiskus dan Pelayanan Perpajakan secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kepatuhan WP. Saran-saran penelitian: (a) Sosialisasi media penyampaian SPT dan penyuluhan perpajakan harus ditingkatkan agar semua WP mengetahui bahwa mereka memiliki pilihan-pilihan dan kemudahan dalam menyampaikan SPT; (b) Petugas Pajak harus Lebih Proaktif dan Komunikatif kepada para WP; (c) menerapkan reward dan punishment kepada WP sesuai dengan peraturan perundang-undangan yang berlaku; (d) Variabel Pelayanan Fiskus dan Pelayanan Perpajakan secara simultan memiliki kontribusi pengaruh terhadap kepatuhan WP yang terbilang kecil yaitu hanya 16,7 persen. Oleh karena itu bagi penelitian selanjutnya disarankan untuk meneliti beberapa faktor lain, misalnya adalah pemahaman terhadap sistem self assessment, tingkat pendidikan, tingkat penghasilan, sanksi perpajakan, atau karena faktor sikap, norma subyektif, dan kontrol perilaku yang dipersepsikan.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to find out the influence of Occupational Health and Safety Program toward the performance of the employees mediated by work motivation. The method of data collection in this explanatory research employs questionnaire, interview, observation, and documentation. From the population of 188 employees, the proportional stratified random sampling method results in 55 employees as the sample. Data analysis uses Path Analysis. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that Occupational Health and Safety Program has positive and significant influence mediated by the variable of work motivation. PT. PLN (Persero) APJ Semarang should improve its Occupational Health and Safety Program to increase employees’ work motivation which in turn will result in maximum work performance. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan pengaruh keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja (K3) terhadap prestasi kerja karyawan yang dimediasi variabel motivasi kerja. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner, wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan PT. PLN (Persero) APJ Semarang yang berjumlah 118 orang. Metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan proportionate Stratified Random Sampling dan ditetapkan sampel sebanyak 55 orang. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis jalur. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa keselamatan kerja dan kesejahteraan (K3) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan yang dimediasi oleh variabel motivasi kerja. PT. PLN (Persero) APJ Semarang seharusnya untuk meningkatkan K3 bagi karyawan agar motivasi kerja mereka menjadi lebih tinggi, sehingga mereka dapat memberikan performa yang maksimal.Keywords: Occupational Health and Safety, Work PerformanceKeselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja, Prestasi Kerja

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of sales skills and sales behavior on sales performance. The population in this study was 32 salesforces of PT. Nasmoco Pemuda Semarang. The data used in this study are primary data obtained using questionnaires, interviews and observations. Data analysis using linear regression. The results of the study indicate that sales skills has a positive and significant effect on the sales performance. The sales behavior has a positive and significant effect on the sales performance. Simultaneously, the sales skills and sales behavior have a positive and significant effect on the sales performance. To improve sales performance, salespeople are expected to further increase their sales behavior because it is a more dominant variable. To increase sales behavior, salespeople are expected to be more responsive to listen to what prospective buyers say, not be proactive.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh keahlian penjualan dan perilaku penjualan terhadap kinerja penjualan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 32 tenaga penjual PT. Nasmoco Pemuda Semarang. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer yang di peroleh menggunakan kuesioner, wawancara dan observasi. Analisis data menggunakan regresi linier. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keahlian penjualan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja penjualan. Perilaku penjualan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja penjualan. Secara simultan, keahlian penjualan dan perilaku penjualan bersama-sama memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja penjualan. Sebaiknya dalam meningkatkan kinerja penjualan seharusnya tenaga penjual lebih meningkatkan lagi perilaku penjualannya karena merupakan variabel yang lebih dominan pengaruhnya. Untuk meningkatkan perilaku penjualan diharapkan tenaga penjual agar lebih responsif mendengarkan apa yang dikatakan calon pembeli, tidak bersikap proaktif.

Abstract

Over the past five years, the value of coal mining subsector has tended to decline. Various factors affect the value of the company including capital structure, managerial ownership, and financial performance. This study aims to examine the effect of capital structure, managerial ownership, and financial performance on firm value in the coal subsector companies listed on Indonesia Stick Exchange (IDX) for the period 2014-2018. The research sampke was determined using purposive sampling method to produce a total of 12 companies. The analytical method used is the linear regression analysis, with a significance level of 0.05 (5%) using the statictical data processing application SPSS version 21. Based on these result it can be concluded that partially capital structure has a negative and not significant effect on firm value, managerial ownership has a positive and significant effect on firm value, and financial performance has a positive and significant effect on firm value. It ts recommended for companies to always be able to increase the value of the company through the value of stock prices that are always increasing. Investors are advised to consider the fundamentals of capital structure,managerial ownership, and financial performance together to assess the value of the company.  Selama kurun waktu lima tahun terakhir, nilai perusahaan subsektor batubara cenderung mengalami penurunan. Ada berbagai faktor yang mempengaruhi nilai perusahaan diantaranya: struktur modal, kepemilikan manajerial, dan kinerja keuangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh struktur modal, kepemilikan manajeria, dan knerja keuangan terhadap nilai perusahaan subsektor batubara yang tercatat di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) periode 2014 – 2018. Sampel penelitian ini ditentukan dengan metode purposive sampling sehingga mneghasilkan sampel berjumlah 12 perusahaan. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi dengan tingkat signifikansi sebesar 0,05 (5%). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa secara parsial struktur modal berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan, kepemilikan manajerial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan, dan kinerja keuanganberpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan. Disarankan bagi perusahaan agar selalu meningkatkan nilai perusahaan melaluiharga saham yang selalu meningkat. Bagi investor disarankan untuk mempertimbangkan fundamental perusahaan melalui struktur modal, kepemilikan manajerial, dan kinerja keuangan untuk menilai nilai perusahaan.

Abstract

Nature tourism requires precision in managing it into a decent destination and has a high attractiveness. The previously owned potential becomes the impetus for better management. Glagah Wangi Beach is a type of marine tourism located in Demak. The attractions are in the form of a beach area, mangroves, and several beach rides. With the development of beaches with many tourist visits, new problems will arise, namely garbage that pollutes the beach area and has not been managed properly by tourism managers. Improvements are made around waste management for the realization of this destination as ecotourism tourism. Community-based management which is the focus of this activity aims to build the capacity of the local village community to continue to exist in the management of the ecotourism tourism industry. This community service is carried out in multi-years for 3 years with the first year's activities being to develop ecotourism potential through tourism waste management awareness through training in the manufacture of liquid fertilizer and composting. The goal is that people are aware of cleanliness and are able to utilize waste and beach waste into useful products. The result of this community service is an increase in knowledge, community insight in waste management, especially the manufacture of liquid fertilizer and composting. Keywords: waste management training; liquid fertilizer; composting; ecotourism

Abstract

Market orientation refers to entrepreneurs' efforts to understand market needs, develop products to meet consumer demands, and build relationships with customers. The aim of this research is to examine how entrepreneurial orientation and market orientation influence the business performance of SMEs in the context of furniture craftsmen in Jepara. This study investigates whether product innovation plays a mediating role in the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation, market orientation, and business performance. The research method employed is survey or interviews with furniture craftsmen in Jepara. The research sample can be selected randomly or using appropriate sampling techniques. To gather data, entrepreneurs can be provided with open-ended questionnaires on entrepreneurial orientation, market orientation, product innovation, and business performance. Data collection techniques can be analyzed using triangulation techniques. The results of the study can provide insights into the importance of entrepreneurial orientation and market orientation in enhancing the business performance of SMEs in the furniture craftsmen sector. Furthermore, this research can identify the role of product innovation as a mediating variable that connects entrepreneurial orientation and market orientation with business performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana penerapan Good Coporate governance (GCG) pada Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDes) Usaha Sejahtera Desa Pejengkolan dan apa saja hambatannya. BUMDes adalah badan usaha yang berbadan hukum yang dimiliki oleh masyarakat dan pemerintah desa yang didirikan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan pendapatan asli desa dan menggerakan roda perekonomian masyarakar desa. Penerapan GCG pada BUMDes sangat lah penting untuk  mendukung tata kelola yang baik dan menjaga keberlangsungan usaha. Prinsip-prinsip GCG seperti transparansi, akuntabilitas, responsibilitas, independensi, dan kesetaraan menjadi landasan utama dalam menjalankan tata kelola organisasi bisnis yang baik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Informan kunci dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari komisaris, Direktur, sekretaris dan bendahara BUMDes. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi pada BUMDes  Usaha Sejahtera Desa pejengkolan. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis model Miles and Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penerapan GCG pada BUMDes Usaha Sejahtera belum terlaksana sepenuhnya. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dari kelima prinsip yang dikemukakan oleh Komite Nasional Kebijakan Governance BUMDes Usaha  Sejahtera masih lemah dalam hal menjalankan prinsip independensi dan kesetaraan. Sementara penerapan prinsip transparansi, akuntabilitas dan responsbilitas sudah berjalan dengan baik, walaupun masih sederhana dan perlu perbaikan. Hal ini dikarenakan BUMDes Usaha Sejahtera masih menjumpai berbagai hambatan dalam penerapan GCG diantaranya: Keterbatasan sumber daya manusia, komitmen anggota, internal audit yang belum berjalan, dan dukungan dari stakeholder. Penelitian berimplikasi pada perbaikan tata kelola BUMDes Usaha Sejahtera melalui perbaikan sistem pengendalian internal organisasi dan sistem recruitment yang jelas.This research aims to analyze the implementation of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) in the Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) called "Usaha Sejahtera" in Pejengkolan Village, as well as identify the obstacles faced. BUMDes is a legal entity owned by the community and the village government, established with the purpose of improving the village's local income and stimulating the local economy. The implementation of GCG in BUMDes is crucial to support good governance and ensure the sustainability of the enterprise. Principles such as transparency, accountability, responsibility, independence, and equality form the foundation for effective organizational governance in the business context.The research adopts a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Key informants for this study include commissioners, directors, secretaries, and treasurers of BUMDes. Data is collected through interviews, observations, and documentation at BUMDes "Usaha Sejahtera" in Pejengkolan Village. The data analysis follows the Miles and Huberman model. The research findings indicate that the implementation of GCG in BUMDes "Usaha Sejahtera" is not fully realized. Based on the analysis of the five principles proposed by the National Committee for BUMDes Governance Policy, the enterprise shows weaknesses in implementing the principles of independence and equality. However, the principles of transparency, accountability, and responsibility have been moderately implemented, although there is room for improvement.This is because BUMDes "Usaha Sejahtera" still faces various obstacles in implementing GCG, including limited human resources, member commitment, inactive internal audit, and stakeholder support. The research implies the need for improvements in the governance of BUMDes "Usaha Sejahtera" through enhancing the internal control system and establishing a clear recruitment process.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effects of athlete endorsement, price perception, and product quality on local basketball shoe purchasing decisions, and the influence of sport involvement moderating athlete endorsement, price perception, and product quality on purchasing decisions of local AZA brand basketball shoes. This research is explanatory research using purposive sampling followed by snowball sampling. The total sample obtained was 100 respondents. Data analysis technique used was MRA. The results found are: 1) there is an influence of athlete endorsement on the purchasing decision of local basketball shoes; 2) there is an influence of price perception on the purchasing decision of local basketball shoes; 3) there is an effect of product quality on purchasing decisions for local basketball shoes, and; 4) there is an influence of sport involvement moderating athlete endorsement, price perception, and product quality on purchasing decisions for local basketball shoes brand AZA. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian eksplanatori dengan teknik sampling penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling dilanjutkan dengan snowball sampling. Sampel didapatkan 100 responden. Teknik analisis data menggunakan MRA. Hasil yang ditemukan yaitu: 1) terdapat pengaruh athlete endorsement terhadap keputusan pembelian sepatu basket lokal; 2) terdapat pengaruh persepsi harga terhadap keputusan pembelian sepatu basket lokal; 3) terdapat pengaruh kualitas produk pada keputusan pembelian sepatu basket lokal, dan; 4) terdapat pengaruh sport involvement memoderasi athlete endorsement, persepsi harga, dan kualitas produk terhadap keputusan pembelian sepatu basket lokal merek AZA. Abstract

This study was conducted to explore the affect of employee creativity, organizational climate, organizational culture, transformational leadership, and employee engagement on employee performance at Accounting Firms through employee satisfaction and work engagement as a mediating variabel. This study uses quantitative methode and structural equation modeling (SEM). This research then involved 200 respondents selected from accounting firm employees in Makassar. The results of the study show that employee creativity and organizational climate significantly influence employee satisfaction and work engagement, which has a positive impact on employee performance. Furthermore, transformational leadership and organizational culture have been proven to improve employee performance. However, employee empowerment has been proven to increase employee motivation and performance. This conclusion match with the theory which states that employee satisfaction and work commitment play an important role as mediating variabels in the relationship between the work environment and employee performance. Therefore, this study contributes to the performance management literature by highlighting the importance of these variabels in improving performance in the service sector. Practical implications show that companies in the service sector develop positive organizational cultures, transformational leadership styles, and employee empowerment strategies to improve performance.
