Abstract

This community engagement program aims to enhance the competitiveness of culinary micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Medan City through training in digital marketing and basic financial management. A preliminary survey of 20 MSMEs revealed that most lacked strategic use of social media and did not maintain proper financial records. The program was implemented through interactive training and field mentoring over two months. The results showed significant improvements in four key areas: social media usage increased from 50% to 85%, financial record-keeping from 20% to 75%, digital literacy from 30% to 85%, and financial literacy from 25% to 75%. Participants also reported increased business revenue and enhanced online promotion skills. The program aligns with prior research findings while offering a unique approach through integrated methods and tangible behavioral change among participants. Limitations include a relatively short implementation period and the absence of long-term impact assessment. Nevertheless, the program is considered successful and has the potential to be replicated for other MSME sectors with a more sustainable strategy.

Abstract

The influence of Work Discipline and Work Facilities is reviewed in this study to examine the Employee Performance of PT Arina Multikarya Medan as partially and simultaneously. The data type of utilized is quantitative data. This study takes subjects from the population, i.e., company employees, a total of 30 person, where the population is used as a sample. Data gathered in this study uses interview techniques, making questionnaires, and documentation studies, namely obtained through books and journals. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression. The inferences of this study include: (1) Partially, the Work Discipline variable (X1) has a significant influence on the Employee Performance of PT Arina Multikarya Medan, as evidenced by the probability with a significance obtained of 0.000 (less than 0.05). (2) Partially, the Work Facilities variable (X2) has a significant influence on the Employee Performance of PT Arina Multikarya Medan, as evidenced by the probability with a significance obtained of 0.006. (3) Simultaneously, the variables Work Discipline (X1) and Work Facilities (X2) have a significant influence on Employee Performance at PT Arina Multikarya Medan, as proven by the F probability with a significance of 0.000. In addition, the determination of 0.900, which means 90 percent, indicates a very strong influence on the contribution of Employee Performance at PT Arina Multikarya Medan, given by the variables Work Discipline and Work Facilities.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of training and supervision on employee performance at the Medan City Human Resources Development and Personnel Agency (BKPSDM). This study was designed with a causal type with a quantitative research approach. This study used subjects from the population, namely 89 employees at the Medan City Human Resources Development and Personnel Agency with a saturated sampling technique. The use of the Likert scale in this study. Data were analyzed using multiple regression techniques using the IBM Statistics SPSS Ver24 application. Training has a significant effect on Employee Performance at the Medan City Human Resources Development and Personnel Agency (BKPSDM); (2) Supervision does not have a significant effect on Employee Performance at the Medan City Human Resources Development and Personnel Agency (BKPSDM). (3) Training and Supervision have a significant effect on Employee Performance at the Medan City Human Resources Development and Personnel Agency (BKPSDM) with a contribution of only 25.5 percent.

Abstract

Faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi keputusan pelanggan dalam berkunjung ke tempat wisata Sawah Punden yaitu fasilitas dan harga. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan penelitian yang betujuan mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh fasilitas dan harga terhadap keputusan berkunjung ke tempat wisata tersebut. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa kuesioner. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 65 orang. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Regresi Linier Berganda. Pengolahan data dibantu dengan aplikasi SPSS versi 29. Adapun hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial dan simultan variabel fasilitas (X1) memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of attendance and work motivation on employee productivity at PT. Adi Perkasa Medan's Active MAP and how much influence it has. The method used in this study is a quantitative method with several tests, namely reliability analysis , classical assumption deviation test and linear regression . Based on the results of the primary data regression which was processed using SPSS 18, the following multiple linear regression equation was obtained: Y = 13.937 + 0.584 X 1 +0.722 X 2. Partially, the attendance level variable (X 1 ) has a positive and significant effect on the work productivity of PT. MAP Active Adi Perkasa Medan . This means that the hypothesis in this study is accepted, as evidenced by the value of t count < t table (4.682 > 1.691). While the work motivation variable (X 2 ) has a positive and significant influence on the work productivity of PT. MAP Active Adi Perkasa Medan . This means that the hypothesis in this study is accepted, as evidenced by the value of t count > t table (4.017 > 1.691). Simultaneously, the variables of attendance (X1 ) and work motivation (X2 ) have a positive and significant influence on the work productivity of PT. MAP Active Adi Perkasa Medan . This means that the hypothesis in this study is accepted, as evidenced by the calculated F value > F table (17,392 > 3,26 ) . Variables of attendance level (X1 ) and work motivation (X2 ) were able to contribute to the influence of the employee productivity variable by 50.6% while the remaining 49.4% was influenced by other variables not examined in this study. From the conclusions above, the authors suggest that in terms of attendance levels, employees are no longer lazy to come to work and do absenteeism without explanation so that employee productivity does not decrease. The work motivation given by the leadership is very necessary so that employees can work with enthusiasm. Employees should work well according to procedures and regulations so that company leaders are satisfied.

Abstract

Paper waste is a crucial environmental issue due to its increasing volume alongside high domestic and office activities. This community service aims to educate and train PKK women in Bane Village, North Siantar District, in processing paper waste into recycled paper with economic value. The method used in this activity consists of theoretical counseling using presentation media and direct practical training (demonstration and practice). The processing stages include pulping, mixing adhesives, and the printing and drying process. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in environmental awareness and technical skills among participants. The PKK women successfully produced aesthetic recycled paper using simple household equipment without requiring large capital. The conclusion of this service is that paper recycling training is effective in changing public perception of waste into creative economic opportunities. Future recommendations include continuous assistance in product packaging and marketing aspects to enhance the economic independence of the PKK group.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the village development strategy has an effect on increasing village income in Sei Merah Village, Kec . Tj Morawa . The method used in this study is a quantitative method with several tests, namely reliability and simple linear regression . Based on the results of the primary data regression which was processed using SPSS 1 8 , the following simple linear regression equation was obtained : Y : 21.622 + 0.704X. Based on these data, it can be determined that the size of the t table is 2,003 and it is known that the village development strategy variable has a t count of 5.608, when compared to the t table, the result is 5.608 > 2.003, so it can be concluded that the village development strategy variable has a significant effect on the variable of increasing village income. Based on the results of the regression calculation of the coefficient of determination of the summary model in the table above, it can be seen that the coefficient of determination (R square) obtained in this study is 0.360. This means that 36% of the variables of increasing village income can be influenced by the variables of village development strategies. While the remaining 64% can be influenced by other independent variables that are not included in the study.

Abstract

This community service activity takes the form of education on the introduction of financial investment instruments aimed at providing knowledge and insight to the residents of Air Joman village regarding various financial investment instruments. Research results show that on average Indonesian people carry out savings and investment activities using only 13% of their income. This can be concluded that Indonesian people still have low awareness regarding the importance of investing. The target audience for this community service activity was the villagers in Air Joman village, with approximately 14 people attending. Education regarding the introduction of financial investment instruments is carried out using lecture and question and answer methods. The lecture method is used to explain introductory concepts of financial investment. Meanwhile, the question and answer method provides participants with the opportunity to discuss further the material that has been presented.
