Abstract

ABSTRACTThis type of research is ex-post facto aims to examine (1) the influence of Self-Efficacy on independent learning students in the subjects of accounting productive; (2) the influence of achievement motivation on student learning independence in the subjects of accounting productive; and (3) the influence of self-efficacy and achievement motivation on student learning independence in the subjects of accounting productive. The subjects were students of class XI accounting department SMK Aurora totaling 63 students. This study used the instrument in the form of a questionnaire. Data were analyzed by using linear regression analysis simple and multiple linear regression as hypothesis testing. The validity of the data obtained through validity and reliability. The results research showed that: (1) There is positive and significant the influence of Self-Efficacy to the independent learning students in the subjects of accounting productive 63.4% as seen from the value tcount = 10.277 (>ttable = 2,000), at a significance level of 5% , (2) There is positive and significant the influence of achievement motivation on student learning independence on the subjects of accounting productive amounted to 68.2% as seen from the value tcount = 11.445 (>ttable = 2,000), at significance level of 5%, and (3) There is positive and significant the influence of self-efficacy and achievement motivation on the student learning independence on the subjects of accounting productive of 72.3% as seen from the value of Fcount = 78.121 (>Ftable = 3.15) at the 5% significance level.Keywords: Self-efficacy, achievement motivation, independent learning.ABSTRAKJenis penelitian ini adalah ex-post facto bertujuan untuk menguji (1) pengaruh Self-Efficacy terhadap kemandirian belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran produktif akuntansi; (2) pengaruh motivasi berprestasi terhadap kemandirian belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran produktif akuntansi; dan (3) pengaruh Self-Efficacy dan motivasi berprestasi terhadap kemandirian belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran produktif akuntansi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI jurusan akuntansi SMK Aurora yang berjumlah 63 siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen berupa kuesioner. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linier sederhana dan regresi linier berganda sebagai pengujian hipotesis. Keabsahan data diperoleh melalui validitas dan reliabilitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1) Terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan Self-Efficacy terhadap kemandirian belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran produktif akuntansi sebesar 63,4% yang dilihat dari nilai thitung = 10,277 (> ttabel = 2,000), pada taraf signifikansi 5%, (2) Terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan motivasi berprestasi terhadap kemandirian belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran produktif akuntansi sebesar 68,2% yang dilihat dari nilai thitung = 11,445 (>ttabel = 2,000), pada taraf signifikansi 5%, dan (3) Terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan Self-Efficacy dan motivasi berprestasi terhadap kemandirian belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran produktif akuntansi sebesar 72,3% yang dilihat dari nilai Fhitung = 78,121 (> Ftabel = 3,15) pada taraf signifikansi 5%.Kata kunci : Self-Efficacy, motivasi berprestasi, kemandirian belajar.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe objective of this research is to investigate the success rate of the Regional Financial Manage-ment Information System (SIMDA) with performance, information, economy, control, efficiency, and ser-vice (PIECES) evaluation methods at state secondary schools of Surakarta City. Its population was treas-urers of Junior High Schools, Senior High Schoolsand Vocational High Schools of Surakarta City. They consisted of 44. Its samples were 40 treasurers and were determined by using the proportional random sampling. The data of research were collected through questionnaire and analyzed by using the left-tailed t-test at the significance level of 0.05. The success rate attained was 81.13%. The success rate of the SIM-DA based on the indicators of PIECES evaluation methods was 84% at highest (-ttable = -1.645 >-tcount =-3.12). The strongest indicator of the SIMDA was information (85%) and the weakest indicator was econo-my (62%). The indicator of efficiency was adequately successful (75%), but it was fairly low if compared with other indicators. The results of identification both the strength and weakness of the SIMDA can be inputs for the Finance and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) in developing the future SIMDA through, for instance, provision of online reporting facilities so that the treasurers can save theirtime.Keyword :SIMDA at school, System Evaluation, PIECES evaluations method.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kesuksesan SIMDA Keuangan berdasar indi-kator metode evaluasi PIECES di Sekolah Menengah Negeri Kota Surakarta. Populasi penelitian terdiri atas bendahara SMPN, SMAN, dan SMKN Kota Surakarta yang berjumlah 44 orang. Sampel ditentukan sebanyak 40 orang bendahara. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan proporsional random sampling. Bentuk penelitian evaluasi kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dilaksanakan dengan teknik angket. Analisis da-ta menggunakan uji-t pihak kiri dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05. Tingkat kesuksesan yang dicapai yaitu sebesar 81,13%. Hipotesis “Tingkat kesuksesan SIMDA Keuangan berdasar indikator metode evaluasi PIECES di Sekolah Menengah Negeri Kota Surakarta paling tinggi 84%” diterima berdasar pada (-ttabel>thitung atau -1,645>-3,12). Berdasar metode evaluasi PIECES, SIMDA Keuangan di Sekolah Menen-gah Negeri Kota Surakarta memiliki kekuatan pada indikator information dengan nilai sebesar 85%. Kelemahan SIMDA terletak pada indikator economic dengan nilai sebesar 62%. Indikator efisiensi tergo-long sukses dengan persentase 75% namun hal ini cukup rendah jika dibanding dengan indikator lain. Hasil identifikasi kekuatan dan kelemahan SIMDA Keuangan di Sekolah Menengah Negeri Kota Surakar-ta dapat menjadi bahan masukan bagi BPKP dalam pengembangan SIMDA Keuangan kedepannya. Per-baikan tersebut antara lain pemberian fasilitas pelaporan online sehingga membantu bendahara dalam efisiensi waktu pelaporan.Kata kunci : SIMDA Keuangan Sekolah, Evaluasi Sistem, Metode Evaluasi PIECES.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe aim of this research is to find to what extent senior highschool teachers has applied innovative teaching after passing the certification examination. In addition, this research has the aim to find out the problems that the teachers have in their application of innovative teaching. Based on the problems, this research proposes some recommendations for the solutions for the problems.Specifically, this research wants to find out whether there are any differences in the application of innovative teaching between the teachers who passed the portofolio ceritification exam  and those who passed the exam in  the Teacher Profession Education and Training (PLPG).   This is a qualitative research with observation, depth-interview, questionnaire used as the instruments to get the data of the research. The objects of the research are certifiedb and non-certified senior highschool teachers of  natural science, social science, Indonesian and English of both the private and state schools in SurakartaThe research has obtained the following findings. The certification program has created an impact on both certified and non-certified senior highschool teachers in Surakarta. With their limitations, they tend to implement innovative teaching. There is a  difference between certified teachers and non-certified teachers. The former teach better than the later. There is a slight difference between the cerified teachers who passed the portofolio exam and the certified teachers who passed the PLPG exam. The portofolio teachers teach more innovatively than the PLPG teachers.The research has also found that the teachers are facing some problems that discourage them to implement innovative teaching. First, they are forced to prepare the students for the National Exam. Secondly, they have the wrong perception that teaching innovatively means using computers or laptops and this means being expensive. To solve the problems, there should be a continuous supervision and monitoring and evaluation for the teachers.                        .                                                                                              Keywords: innovative teaching, teacher certification,  professional teachers

Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan strategi tunggal terpancang. Penentuan sampel menggunakan sampling yang bertujuan. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah responden (narasumber), sumber tertulis, sumber tempat dan peristiwa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi, dan analisis dokumen. Validitas data dengan trianggulasi sumber dan trianggulasi metode. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis model interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi pendidikan karakter pada mata pelajaran produktif akuntansi di SMK Negeri 3 Surakarta sudah berjalan cukup baik dengan memasukkan 18 nilai karakter ke dalam perangkat pembelajaran (Silabus dan RPP). Akan tetapi belum terdapat fokus pengembangan kerakter teknisi akuntansi junior berupa tindakan khusus yang diperintahkan dan diteladani oleh guru kepada siswa. Terdapat beberapa hambatan dan upaya dalam kegiatan implementasi. Kata kunci: pendidikan karakter, mata pelajaran produktif akuntansi, Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan, teknisi akuntansi junior. Abstract: This research was a qualitative descriptive study with a single strategy rooted. The samples in this study used purposive sampling. Source of data used is the respondent (informant), written sources, the source places and events. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, and document analysis. The validity of the triangulation of data sources and triangulation methods. While the data analysis technique used is an interactive model of analysis techniques. The results showed that the implementation of character education in the accounting productive subject in vocational high school 3 surakarta has been going pretty well with insert 18 value characters into the learning devices (Syllabus and RPP). However, there has not been the focus of development in the specific form of  junior technician accounting character's in real action which commanded and exemplified by the teacher to the student. Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana di laboratorium unit produksi menurut Peraturan Menteri Pendidikan Nasional RI No. 40 tahun 2008 tentang Standar Sarana dan Prasarana untuk Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan/ Madrasah Aliyah Kejuruan, pengelolaan laboratorium Unit produksi, pelaksanaan kegiatan praktik di laboratorium unit produksi, kendala-kendala yang dihadapi sekolah dalam mengelola laboratorium unit produksi, dan upaya sekolah dalam mengatasi kendala yang muncul dalam mengelola laboratorium unit produksi.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, objek penelitian adalah seluruh SMK Negeri Se-Surakarta Bidang Bisnis Manajemen. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi, angket dan dokumentasi. Teknik pengambilan sempel menggunakan purposive sampling dan snowball sampling. Uji validitas data dalam penelitian ini melalui triangulasi metode dan triangulasi sumber.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: tingkat ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana di laboratorium unit produksi sebagai sarana pembelajaran siswa akuntansi pada SMK Negeri Se-Surakarta dikategorikan baik dan tidak menyimpang dari Peraturan Menteri No. 40 tahun 2008, dengan rata-rata tingkat persentase 72,92% dan rata-rata skor 3,64; tingkat pengelolaan laboratorium unit produksi sebagai sarana pembelajaran siswa akuntansi pada SMK Negeri Se-Surakarta mulai dari perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, serta pengawasan dan evaluasi, dikategorikan baik dengan rata-rata tingkat persentase 80,57% dan rata-rata skor  4,03; pelaksanaan kegiatan praktik di laboratorium unit produksi sebagai sarana pembelajaran siswa akuntansi pada SMK Negeri Se-Surakarta dikategorikan baik dengan rata-rata tingkat persentase 83,53% dan rata-rata skor  4,17; kendala yang muncul yaitu masih terdapat sekolah yang sarana prasarana belum sesuai standar, belum terdapat software, terbatasnya waktu pengelolaan, belum adanya karyawan khusus, kurangnya ketelitian siswa saat praktik; dan upaya yang dilakukan adalah berusaha meningkatkan sarana dan prasarana, menggunakan Microsoft Excel, membuat jadwal piket guru akuntansi untuk memantau siswa saat praktik, pembimbing praktik memberikan masukan kepada siswa agar lebih teliti.Kata kunci: pengelolaan laboratorium, laboratorium akuntansi, pembelajaran praktik akuntansi ABSTRACTThe objectives of this research are to investigate: the availability of facilities and infrastructures at the production unit laboratories pursuant to Regulation of the Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Indonesia Number: 40 of 2008 regarding the Standards of Facilities and Infrastructures for Vocational High Schools/Islamic Vocational High Schools; the management of production unit laboratories; the implementation of practicum activities at the production unit laboratories; the constraints encountered in the implementation of management of production unit laboratories; and the efforts done by the schools of dealing with the existing problems in managing the production unit laboratories.This research used the descriptive qualitative research method. Its objects were all of Management Business Fields, State Vocational High Schools of Surakarta. The data of the research were collected through in-depth interview, observation, questionnaire, and documentation. The samples of the research were taken by using the purposive sampling technique and the snowball sampling technique. They were validated by using the method and source triangulations.The results of the research show that: the level of availability of facilities and infrastructures at the production unit laboratories as a means of learning for the Accounting students of State Vocational High Schools of Surakarta is in the good category and does not deviate from Regulation of the Ministry of the Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Indonesia Number: 40 of 2008 with the average percentage of 72.92% and the average score of 3.64; the level of management of production unit laboratories as a means of learning of the Accounting students of State Vocational High Schools of Surakarta starting from planning, organization, implementation, supervision to evaluation respectively is in the good category with the average percentage of 80.57% and the average score of 4.03; the implementation of practicum activities at the production unit laboratories as a means of learning for the Accounting students of State Vocational High Schools of Surakarta is in the good category with the average percentage of 83.53% and the average score of 4.17; the constraints encountered in the implementation of management of the production unit laboratories are as follows: some schools have facilities and infrastructures which are not incompliant with the required standards, there is not software, the time for management is limited, there is not any specialized staff for managing the production unit laboratories, the students are less careful when doing practicum activities; and  the efforts done of dealing such constraints are as follows: striving to improve the facilities and infrastructures, using Microsoft Excel software, making schedules for the Accounting teachers to supervise the students when having practicum activities, and encouraging the practicum guiding teachers to extend inputs to the students so as to act thoroughly when doing practicum activities.Keywords:       Laboratory management, Accounting productive laboratory, and Accounting practicum learning

Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan partisipasi dan prestasi siswa dalam mata pelajaran Akuntansi pada siswa kelas X Akuntansi SMK Murni 2 Surakarta melalui penerapan Pendekatan Quantum Learning Tipe Mind Mapping dengan Media Presentasi Prezi. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, pada tiap siklus terdiri atas perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Sumber data berasal dari siswa, guru dan mitra kolaborator. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara, tes dan dokumentasi.  Validitas data dengan member check, triangulasi, expert opinion, dan key responden review. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Mind Mapping dengan media Presentasi Prezi mampu meningkatkan partisipasi dan prestasi siswa, terlihat dari: (1) pada siklus I hasil persentase partisipasi siswa dalam pembelajaran naik menjadi 69% dan nilai rata-rata 63, (2) pada siklus II yang telah menerapkan Mind Mapping dengan media Presentasi Prezi secara optimal sehingga didapat hasil persentase partisipasi belajar sebesar 78% dan nilai rata-rata 75. Simpulan dari penelitian adalah penerapan Mind Mapping dengan media presentasi Prezi mampu meningkatkan partisipasi dan prestasi belajar akuntansi. ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to increase participation and achievement of students in class X accounting at SMK Murni 2 Surakarta by implementing Mind Mapping and accompanied by a media Prezi presentation. The research is Class Action Research (CAR). The experiment was conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of planning, acting, observation, dan reflection. The source data came from the teacher, students and collaborator. Data collecting methods are collected through observation, interview, test, and documentation. The validity of data using is member check, tringulasi, expert opinion, and key respondent review. The results showend that the approach through the application Mind Mapping and accompanied by a media Prezi presentation could increase the participation and achieveement of students, seen in (1) Cycel 1 although there were still some shortcomungs, the results are the percentage of the student participation on learning activities rose by 69% and with average scores 63 (2) Cycle 2 which has implemented the use of Prezi presentation and Mind Mapping optimally in order to get the percentage of student participation by 75% and with average scores 75. The conclusions of this study is the application of, Mind Mapping and accompanied by a media Prezi presentation through the use of can increse participation and learning achievement. Keywords. Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui kinerja keuangan Desa Slemanan dengan menggunakan analisis perbandingan dan analisis sumber serta penggunaan dana. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah Pemerintah Desa Slemanan. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Validitas data menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber dan metode. Analisis data dengan menggunakan teknik analisis perbandingan dan analisis sumber serta penggunaan dana. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kinerja keuangan Desa Slemanan berdasarkan analisis perbandingan dan analisis sumber dan penggunaan dana menunjukkan kinerja keuangan yang cukup baik, dapat ditunjukkan baik pada kinerja pendapatan desa maupun kinerja belanja desa. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah analisis perbandingan dan analisis sumber serta penggunaan dana dapat digunakan untuk mengetahui kinerja keuangan Desa (APBDesa) Slemanan. Kata kunci : Analisis Perbandingan, Sumber dan Penggunaan Dana Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the financial performance of the Slemanan village by using comparative analysis and analysis of the sources and uses of funds. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Subject were Slemanan village government. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, and documentation. The data validity is checked by using triangulation techniques of sources and methods. Data analysis was performed by using comparative analysis techniques and analysis of sources and uses of funds. Results of this study indicate that the village?s financial performance in Slemanan based on comparative analysis and analysis of sources and uses of funds  shows that financial performance is quite good, which can be shown either on the income and expenditure performance of the village. Conclusions of this study is a comparative analysis and analysis of sources and uses of funds can be used to determine the financial performance of village (APBDesa) in Slemanan.   Keywords: Comparative Analysis, Sources and Uses Of Funds

Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah:1) Untuk  mengetahui  upaya-upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengembangkan bidang usaha di Koperasi Karyawan PT. Indo Acidatama; (2) Untuk  mengetahui kinerja keuangan Koperasi Karyawan PT. Indo Acidatama; 3) Untuk  mengetahui faktor pendukung pelaksanaan bidang usaha Koperasi Karyawan Indo Acidatama serta bagaimana mengoptimalkan faktor pendukung tersebut; 4) Untuk mengetahui faktor penghambat pelaksanaan bidang usaha Koperasi Karyawan Indo Acidatama serta bagaimana mengatasi faktor penghambat tersebut. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang menggunakan sumber data informan, tempat penelitian, dan dokumen. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling.Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi.Validitas data dengan trianggulasi sumber, metode, dan review.Analisis data dengan model interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Upaya-upaya untuk mengembangkan bidang usaha Koperasi Karyawan PT. Indo Acidatama (KOKARINDO) adalah melakukan  inovasi-inovasi dan membuat rencana produk baru, mengedepankan kepercayaan anggota, adanya kebijakan perusahaan untuk bermitra dengan KOKARINDO ini; 2) Kinerja keuangan Koperasi Karyawan PT. Indo Acidatama dihitung dengan analisis rasio keuangan likuiditas, solvabilitas, dan rentabilitas. Dari perhitungan terhadap beberapabidangusaha di koperasi ini, menunjukkan bahwa semua bidang usaha koperasi ini memiliki kinerja yang baik dan mampumenghasilkan keuntungan bersih guna meningkatkan kesejahteraan bagi anggotanya; 3) Faktor pendukung pelaksanaan bidang usaha Koperasi Karyawan PT. Indo Acidatama adalah: kepercayaan dari anggota koperasi, modal yang besar yang dimiliki oleh koperasi ini, tersedianya sarana dan prasarana yang baik. Adapun cara mengoptimalkan faktor pendukung tersebut adalah sistem informasiterbuka, permodalan digunakan untuk menaikkan plaffon pinjaman yang disesuaikan dengan pendapatan karyawan, dan sarana prasarana dipakai dengan baik; 4) Kendala  yang dialami koperasi ini adalah pemotongan gaji, pembatasan plafon pinjaman, dan hal-hal yang bersifat koordinasi antara pengurus koperasi. Upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi kendala tersebut adalah, anggota akan melakukan hal-hal seperti: pembukaan usaha baru, tidak meminjam lagi, meminta pihak pengurus untuk memperpanjang angsuran agar terasa lebih ringan sedangkan pengurus, melakukan usaha seperti: menegakkan aturan yang ada, melakukan rapat koordinasi secara rutin setiap bulannya. Kata kunci: bidang usaha, koperasi, kesejahteraan ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to: 1) To know the efforts which is doing to improve the business in Employees Cooperative of PT. Indo Acidatama; 2) To know the financial performance of Employees Cooperative of PT. Indo Acidatama; 3) To know the supporting factor implementation in business Employees Cooperative of PT. Indo Acidatama and how to optimize the supporting factor; 4) To know the inhibiting factor implementation in business Employees Cooperative of PT. Indo Acidatama and how to overcome its obstacle factor. This study is a qualitative study that uses data sources informants, place research, and documents. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The data was collected by interview, observation, and documentation. The validity of the triangulation of data sources, methods, and reviews.Data analysis with interactive models. The result of research showed that: 1) efforts to develop business of Cooperative Employees PT. Indo Acidatama (KOKARINDO) are made innovation and made new product plan, promoting the trust members, presence a policy company to partner with this KOKARINDO; 2) Employees Cooperative Financial Performance of PT. Indo Acidatama which is doing with the profitability of financial ratio analysisis Return on Assets and Equity Profitability. The results of several calculations such areain the cooperative,shows that all areas of business cooperatives generate net benefits for its members.However, the business unit that showing the greatest benefits for their members; 3) Supporting factors implementation of the business Cooperative Employees PT. Indo Acidatama is: trust given by the members of the cooperative, the capital of which is owned by the cooperative, the availability of good infrastructure. As for how to optimize the supporting factor is an open information system, used to raise capital loan plaffon that is trailored to employee income, and the infrastructure used properly; 4) The problem faced by the cooperative are cutbacks although only 50% wages, restrictions on borrowing ceiling, and the things that are of coordination between cooperative management. While efforts were made ??to overcome these obstacles is, members will do things like: the opening of a new business, do not borrow anymore, asking the board to extend the installment/ pay cuts in order to feel lighter. Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui implementasi Manajemen Peningkatan Mutu Berbasis Sekolah (MPMBS) di SMA Negeri 1 Sukoharjo, faktor-faktor pendukung dan penghambat pelaksanaan MPMBS, upaya yang dilakukan sekolah untuk memaksimalkan faktor pendukung dan upaya untuk mengatasi faktor penghambat pelaksanaan MPMBS. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah SMA Negeri 1 Sukoharjo. Sumber data berasal dari informan, tempat atau lokasi, dokumen, dan arsip. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah dengan wawancara, obervasi, dan dokumentasi. Validitas data menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi metode. Analisis data menggunakan analisis interaktif.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa beberapa fungsi dalam MPMBS telah digarap dengan baik oleh sekolah meliputi manajemen kurikulum, kesiswaan, sarana dan prasarana, humas, pendanaan, dan proses belajar mengajar.   ABSTRACT There are three purposes of this research. First, to know how the School-Based Quality Improvement Management (MPMBS) was being implemented in 1st Senior High School of Sukoharjo (SMAN 1 Sukoharjo). Second, to understand what the supporting and contrary factors of the MPMBS implementation were. Third, to know the actions taken by the School to maximize the supporting factors and to avoid or delete the contrary ones. This is a qualitative research with qualitative discription method. The subject of this research was SMAN 1 Sukoharjo. The data sources which were used in this research are informan, place or location, documentations, and archieves. Informations are gathered by interview, observation and documentation. This study employed triangulation validity test while, interactive analysis was used to do an analytical test. The results showed that some criterias, which are curriculum management, student management, infrastructure, public relations, financing and the process of teaching and learning, in MPMBS were already applied by school. As general, the implementaton of MPMBS in SMAN 1 Sukoharjo was good.   Keywords: Quality, Education, School Based Management.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe aim of this research is to find to what extent senior highschool teachers has applied innovative teaching after passing the certification examination. In addition, this research has the aim to find out the problems that the teachers have in their application of innovative teaching. Based on the problems, this research proposes some recommendations for the solutions for the problems.Specifically, this research wants to find out whether there are any differences in the application of innovative teaching between the teachers who passed the portofolio ceritification exam  and those who passed the exam in  the Teacher Profession Education and Training (PLPG).   This is a qualitative research with observation, depth-interview, questionnaire used as the instruments to get the data of the research. The objects of the research are certifiedb and non-certified senior highschool teachers of  natural science, social science, Indonesian and English of both the private and state schools in SurakartaThe research has obtained the following findings. The certification program has created an impact on both certified and non-certified senior highschool teachers in Surakarta. With their limitations, they tend to implement innovative teaching. There is a  difference between certified teachers and non-certified teachers. The former teach better than the later. There is a slight difference between the cerified teachers who passed the portofolio exam and the certified teachers who passed the PLPG exam. The portofolio teachers teach more innovatively than the PLPG teachers.The research has also found that the teachers are facing some problems that discourage them to implement innovative teaching. First, they are forced to prepare the students for the National Exam. Secondly, they have the wrong perception that teaching innovatively means using computers or laptops and this means being expensive. To solve the problems, there should be a continuous supervision and monitoring and evaluation for the teachers.                        .                                                                                              Keywords: innovative teaching, teacher certification,  professional teachers
