Abstract

The use of technology is currently increasingly widespread, one of which is the use of AR in creating learning media. Expanding information from printed advertising materials to promotional media in videos can be done using augmented reality (AR) technology. This study aims to determine how using augmented reality (AR) as a learning medium for photosynthesis can improve understanding of scientific ideas. This study uses a research and development (R&D) method with a qualitative and quantitative approach. The sample in this study was Class VIII F of SMP Negeri 2 Tuban. The data collection technique used pretest and posttest photosynthesis material. The data analysis technique, the average percentage value of the pretest and posttest, was then analyzed using the N-Gain test score equation. The results of using AR in science learning have a lot of influence on learning activities in the classroom. Students feel more involved and motivated, while teachers find it easier to explain science concepts. Therefore, applying augmented reality technology learning to SMP Negeri 2 Tuban students can be used as a new, fun teaching material

Abstract

Raudhotul Athfal (RA) Thoriqul Falah is located in Talang Kembar Village. Mothers in Talang Kembar Village are generally unproductive housewives, so there needs to be empowerment to be more productive. The purpose of this training is to provide skills for the parents of the RA Thoriqul Falah Student, in making gardening places using vertical culture, making media, as well as selecting and planting seeds. This training activity is carried out in 2 methods, namely socialization about verticulture, and practice. The socialization method was carried out in the RA meeting room, while the practice was carried out in the school yard. The vertical planting is made from used mineral water bottles and paralon. The vegetables used were lettuce, pokcoy, and celery grown in a mixture of soil, husk and manure in a ratio of 2:1:1. Questionnaire given to all participants to find out the participants' interest in applying this technique. The results of this training showed that all participants were able to make vertical planting. All participants were able to make a composition of planting media, and were able to select and plant seeds. The results of the questionnaire showed that 90% of the participants were interested in applying this technique.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has impacted all sectors including the education. The government applies online learning to stop the spread of Covid-19 virus. So that, motivation, results, and Student’s Well-being have decreased. Teachers are required to be more creative in choosing learning methods that can create Student’s Well-being. The purpose of this study was to create Student’s Well-being in undergraduate Biology Education by practical activities on insects’s material. The practicum is carried out at home using a Pitfall Trap. This research is a quantitative descriptive study which was conducted using the One-case Study method. The research subjects were 9 student’s class 2020 of undergraduated Biology Education. The data collection was carried out by observation using a student response questionnaire sheet. The results showed that Pitfall Trap-based practicum carried out at home could create Student’s Well-being in undergraduate Biologi Education
