Abstract

Latar Belakang: Perkembangan zaman yang serba digital berdampak juga pada perkembangan di bidang pendidikan, perkembangan media pembelajaran yang kreatif dan inovatif merupakan salah satu aspek yang ikut berkembang. Media pembelajaran yang kreatif dan inovatif salah satunya adalah e-modul berbasis potensi lokal. E-modul dengan potensi lokal pada pembelajaran biologi sangat sesuai dengan karakteristik pembelajaran biologi yang mendekatkan peserta didik pada keadaan alam disekitarnya serta mengenali potensi yang ada disekitar daerahnya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui validitas e-modul biologi berbasis potensi lokal pada materi tumbuhan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian research and Development (R&D), penelitian ini model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri dari 5 tahapan yaitu analysis, design, development, implementation dan evaluation. Penelitian ini terbatas pada pengembangan e-modul tanpa adanya implementasi karena keterbatasan penelitian.Hasil: Uji validitas yang telah dilakukan pada e-modul yang telah dikembangkan menghasilkan penilaian aspek materi dengan presentase 88,4%, aspek penyajian dan design memiliki presentase 80,8% dan aspek kebahasaan sebesar 86%.Kesimpulan: Validitas e-modul biologi berbasis potensi lokal berdasarkan penilaian para validator ahlui dinyatakan sangat valid dengan presentase 85,06%.

Abstract

Sampah adalah bahan yang tidak digunakan lagi yang berbentuk padat maupun cair.Sampah akan menimbulkan berbagai masalah jika tidak ditangani secara baik Sampah-sampah di laut merupakan salah satu sumber pencemaran laut dan sebagai penyebab global berbagai dampak ekologis. sampah anorganik merupakan sampah yang sulit membusuk,seperti botol dan gelas plastik minuman,kertas,kayu dan sebagainya Sampah organik ,sampah yang cepat membusuk,seperti kulit buah-buahan,sayuran,sisa makanan,buah-buahan,daun -daun kering.Sampah organik ini dapat diolah menjadi kompos.Pengomposan dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan biourine.Tujuan dari pelatihan ini mengetahui bahaya sampah organik dan memanfaatkan sampah organik menjadi kompos dengan bamtuan biourine.Metode yang digunakan adalah sosialisasi bahaya sampah organik,pelatihan dan worshop.Kesipulan dari pelatihan ini dari tanggapan peserta pelatihan mengenai bahan yang digunakan dalam pelatihan banyak tersedia di lingkungan tempat tinggal mereka,terutama bahan EM4,tetapi mereka tidak tahu penggunaannya.Keunggulan pelatihan ini,kompos dari sampah organik dengan bantuan biourine dapat mempercepat pertumbuhan tanaman dan juga pupuk ini ramah lingkungan.Namun pupuk ini memiliki kekurangan yaitu proses pembuatanya membutuhkan waktu yang lama.

Abstract

Identifikasi karakteristik siswa pada awal pembelajaran sangat penting dilakukan dan data yang diperoleh sebagai pijakan guru dalam pembelajaran. Gaya belajar merupakan salah satu karakteristik peserta didik, dengan mengetahui gaya belajar peserta didik, maka akan memudahkan guru dalam mengimplementasikan pendekatan deep learning dalam pembelajaran. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam mengakomodasi kebutuhan belajar yang beragam dari siswa-siswa dengan identifikasi gaya belajar siswa sebagai dasar mengimplementasikan pendekatan deep learning dalam pembelajaran. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran deep learning dan memanfaatkan teknologi, para guru dilatih untuk mengidentifikasi gaya belajar siswa dengan lebih efisien. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah pelatihan dan workshop secara klasikal yang melibatkan guru SD N Kutoerjo 3. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan yang telah diberikan memberikan dampak yang signifikan bagi para guru dalam mengidentifikasi gaya belajar di awal pembelajaran, sehingga dapat merancang pembelajaran yang lebih inklusif serta responsif terhadap perbedaan karakteristik siswa dalam gaya belajarnya. Hal ini ditunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta pelatihan dari 50% menjadi 94%, atau kategori sangat baik.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the mathematical critical thinking skills and learning motivation of 5th grade students of UPT SDN Kutorejo 3 Tuban through the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model with material comparing and sorting fractions. This study uses a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach consisting of two cycles. The subject of the study was grade 5 students with a total of 29 students. The instruments used in this study include tests to assess mathematical critical thinking skills, learning motivation questionnaires, and observation sheets of the learning process. The results showed a significant increase in students' mathematical critical thinking skills and learning motivation after the application of the PBL model. In the first cycle, 69% of students achieved completeness in the critical thinking test, while 31% of students did not complete it. Based on the results of the questionnaire, 40% of students showed low motivation to learn. In the second cycle, the percentage of completeness increased to 75.8%, with 22 students achieving completeness. In addition, students' motivation to learn also increased, with 87.84% of students showing higher motivation compared to the first cycle. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the PBL model is able to encourage the improvement of mathematical critical thinking skills and learning motivation of 5th grade students at UPT SDN Kutorejo 3 Tuban.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak penggunaan media permainan kartu domino pada peningkatan perhatian pembelajaran dan pembelajaran Kelas IV untuk pecahan dalam UPT SDN Kutorejo 3. Studi penelitian ini menerapkan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan menggunakan desain siklus yang mencakup tahap perencanaan, tindakan melakukan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VI UPT SDN Kutorejo 3 yang berjumalah 30. Pengumumpulkan data melalui pertanyaan tentang pembelajaran, memeriksa hasil pembelajaran dan pengamatan partisipasi siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media permainan kartu domino dapat secara signifikan meningkatkan hasil pembelajaran siswa dan siswa, dengan peningkatan manfaat belajar 60% pada prasiklus, 73% pada siklus  I, dan 83% pada siklus II, serta peningkatan hasil pembelajaran siswa adalah 57% pada pra siklus, 77% pada siklus I dan 87% dalam siklus II. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa media permainan kartu domino mempunyai pengaruh dalam meningkatkan minat dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi pecahan.

Abstract

Education is the key to progress and quality development because humans can realize their full potential with education. One of the courses that discusses theory is the education profession course, which examines the concept of professional teachers. This study aims to determine the role of education profession courses in improving the character values of students as prospective biology teachers. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. Data was collected by distributing research questionnaires containing statements about the study's title. The research sample included biology education students in 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 intakes, with 45 students as respondents. This study concludes that education profession courses are essential in improving students' character values. In addition, lecturers in charge of the course are also very important in guiding and being an example for students as prospective biology teachers.Keywords:  character values, students, teachers, biology

Abstract

The study aims to describe scientific literacy skills in terms of competencies, knowledge, and attitudes. This is a descriptive quantitative study using a scientific literacy skills questionnaire with three components, using a five-point Likert scale that has undergone validity and reliability testing and has been declared valid and reliable. Data were collected from 165 subjects and analyzed descriptively for interpretation and categorization. The results indicate that scientific literacy skills in terms of competencies fall within the moderate category (74.15%), knowledge in the moderate category (73.97%), and attitudes in the high category (78.22%). The study concludes that the highest level of science literacy is in terms of attitude, while the lowest level is in terms of knowledge. Consequently, the implications for educators are suggested in developing students' science literacy knowledge through learning resources that are integrated with scientific reading materials.

Abstract

Background: The need for e-encyclopedia development due to the low utilization of ICT in developing e-encyclopedias makes students lazy and less interested in studying the morphological diversity of Pteridophyta based on local potential. Therefore, the development of Canvaflipedia addresses the above problems as a learning medium that is more interactive and easily accessible to students, and can be applied in the PBL model of learning. This study aims to design and test the validity of an electronic encyclopedia related to the morphological diversity of Pteridophyta based on local potential in PBL learning. Methods: The type of research used is an R&D study with a 4D (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate) model, but the research only reached the development stage, which focused on validity testing by three validators using a validation sheet as a research instrument. Data was collected by compiling the results of the validation sheet and analyzed descriptively and quantitatively to interpret the validity results obtained. Results: The findings of the material expert validation test analysis showed a very valid category with an average value of 91.11%. By contrast, the results of the media expert validation test analysis showed a very valid category with an average value of 87.70%. Conclusions: Based on these results, the Canvaflipedia developed is very valid for application in PBL learning.

Abstract

This study was a reasearch and development. The purposed of this research was to design a product and saw the validity of the product. This study produced a Science MODULE based Problem Based Instruction to improve students' critical thinking skills when discussing global warming material. This module presented material and questions based on the Problem Based Instruction learning model that can help students improve their critical thinking skills. The research model used in this study was the ADDIE model. The steps of this research model consists of 5 steps, they were analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The data was collected by using the validity assessment of the product, which was carried out by assessing the validity test by media experts, material experts, and users, namely teachers and students. The results of this study indicated that the validity test of media experts obtained an average of 87.6% which was stated by valid criteria, the validity test of material experts was obtained an average of 85.35% which was stated by valid criteria, and from users, namely teachers. 92.35% who were stated as very valid criteria and 87.5% of students were stated as valid criteria. Thus it can be concluded that the results of the product validity test in the form of a science module based Problem Based Instruction in global warming material was suitable for use as teaching material for SMP / MTs students because it meets the predetermined criteria.
