Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan model peramalan, hasil peramalan dan hasil akurasi peramalan sertifikasi benih UPT PSBTH Dinas Pertanian dan Ketahanan Pangan Jawa Timur Wilayah III Kediri menggunakan metode Extreme Learning Machine (ELM) pada tahun 2023. Data yang digunakan merupakan data sekunder berupa data mentah bulanan dari tahun 2017 sampai tahun 2022 yang diperoleh langsung dari UPT PSBTH Dinas Pertanian dan Ketahanan Pangan Jawa Timur Wilayah III Kediri. Tahapan metode ELM dimulai dari penentuan model peramalan untuk menentukan input, normalisasi data, proses training , proses pengujian, denormalisasi data, dan kemudian akurasi perhitungan. Hasil penelitian model peramalan dengan performa terbaik yaitu 6 input neuron untuk komoditas padi, 5 input neuron untuk komoditas jagung, dan 13 input neuron untuk komoditas kedelai. Komoditas ketiga tersebut menggunakan 20 neuron tersembunyi. Hasil penyiaran menunjukkan pola yang sama dengan periode sebelumnya yaitu mencapai angka sertifikasi benih yang tinggi pada akhir tahun bulan September untuk komoditas padi dan jagung, dan akhir tahun bulan Oktober untuk komoditas kedelai. Hasil akurasi peramalan baik untuk komoditas padi, jagung, dan kedelai dapat dinilai baik/layak dengan masing-masing tingkat kesalahan MAPE yaitu 2,08% untuk komoditas padi, 2,85% untuk komoditas jagung, dan 1,25% untuk komoditas kedelai.

Abstract

Analisis data bivariat merupakan bagian dari capaian pembelajaran Matematika SMA yang baru muncul pada Fase E dan Fase F Kurikulum Merdeka dan belum pernah dijumpai pada kurikulum sebelumnya. Secara umum, analisis data bivariat meliputi dua topik besar yakni analisis korelasi dan analisis regresi. Hal ini mendorong perlunya peningkatan kompetensi bagi guru-guru SMA, khususnya di wilayah Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY), agar semakin menguasai dan mampu mengajarkan materi tersebut kepada siswa. Kegiatan Pengabdian pada Masyarakat ini berupa workshop analisis regresi dan korelasi bagi guru SMA, dan dikelola bersama Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP) Matematika SMA Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Kegiatan workshop tersebut memuat sejumlah materi yang meliputi konsep dasar analisis korelasi variabel kategorik dan numerikal, konsep dasar analisis regresi, praktik analisis data bivariat dengan Microsoft Excel, serta praktik analisis data bivariat dengan aplikasi berbasis web. Penyajian dalam bentuk workshop sehari secara luring dapat berjalan secara efektif. Hasil survey juga menunjukkan bahwa peserta workshop telah memahami materi dengan baik.

Abstract

Innovation in learning is needed by combining a learning approach and a classroom setting model to solve the problem of low student achievement and representation abilities. It can also be used as an effort to overcome problems in the aspect of attitude, for example, math anxiety. This study was aimed to (1) describe the effectiveness of the brain-based learning approach with a think pair share setting (BBL+TPS); (2) find out the difference between learning with BBL+TPS and the scientific approach; and (3) describe which one is more effective between the BBL+TPS and the scientific approach in terms of learning achievement, mathematical representation ability, and student’s math anxiety in statistics and probability. This study was a quasi-experimental study with the population being students of class X SMAN 2 Bantul, and the sample was students of classes X MIA 3 and X MIA 4, which were determined by using random sampling technique. The data collection techniques used are interviews, observations, and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques are descriptive and inferential statistics. The results show that: (1) BBL+TPS is effective; (2) there are differences in the effectiveness of learning between the BBL+TPS and the scientific approach; and (3) BBL+TPS is more effective than the scientific approach in terms of learning achievement and mathematical representation ability, but not more effective in terms of math anxiety. Diperlukan suatu inovasi dalam pembelajaran dengan menggabungkan pendekatan pembelajaran dan model pengaturan kelas untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan prestasi belajar dan kemampuan representasi siswa yang rendah. Hal tersebut juga dapat digunakan sebagai upaya untuk mengatasi permasalahan dalam aspek sikap contohnya kecemasan matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan keefektifan pendekatan brain-based learning dengan setting think pair share (BBL+TPS), (2) mengetahui adanya perbedaan antara pembelajaran dengan pendekatan BBL+TPS dan saintifik, dan (3) mendeskripsikan mana yang lebih efektif antara pendekatan BBL+TPS dan saintifik ditinjau dari prestasi belajar, kemampuan representasi matematika, dan kecemasan matematika pada materi statistika dan peluang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan populasi adalah siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Bantul dengan sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas X MIA 3 dan X MIA 4, yang ditentukan dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan antara lain wawancara, observasi, dan angket.  Teknik analisis data yaitu statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) pendekatan BBL+TPS efektif, (2) ada perbedaan keefektifan pembelajaran antara pendekatan BBL+TPS dan saintifik, dan (3) pendekatan BBL+TPS lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan pendekatan saintifik ditinjau dari pretasi belajar dan kemampuan representasi matematika, namun tidak lebih efektif ditinjau dari kecemasan matematika.

Abstract

The development of 21st-century education demands strengthening mathematical creative thinking as part of higher-order thinking. However, the literature shows a conceptual fragmentation that positions mathematical creativity as both a cognitive process and a measurable ability. This study aims to synthesize and integrate these two perspectives through a systematic literature review (SLR) guided by the PRISMA 2020 guidelines, resulting in a more comprehensive conceptual framework. The review process was carried out through the stages of identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion of literature from the Scopus database with strict selection criteria. Of 124,278 initial documents, 34 scientific articles were identified that met the criteria for the main unit of analysis. The analysis was conducted through a cross-study conceptual synthesis to identify the characteristics of creativity as a process and an ability, and to examine the relationship between the two. The results of the study indicate that the process approach emphasizes the dynamics of the stages of creative thinking (e.g., preparation, incubation, illumination, and verification). In contrast, the ability approach emphasizes measurable indicators such as fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. The main finding of this study is the development of an integrative conceptual framework of process–ability, which positions mathematical creativity as a multidimensional construct that simultaneously connects cognitive dynamics with measurable performance. The contribution of this study is not only a critical synthesis but also an attempt to offer a new conceptual flowchart that integrates creative thinking as a process and as an ability, and is expected to serve as the basis for developing more holistic learning and assessment designs. The implications of this study indicate the importance of developing assessment instruments that can capture both process and product simultaneously. Thus, this study expands theoretical understanding while providing new methodological directions in mathematics education research and practice. Keywords: creative thinking process, creative thinking ability, mathematics, mathematics education.

Abstract

Abstrak.Transportasi udara berperan penting dalam mendukung mobilitas masyarakat dan pertumbuhan ekonomi, termasuk dalam distribusi barang melalui bandara. Penelitian ini bertujuan membangun model prediksi jumlah barang yang dimuat di Bandara Soekarno Hatta menggunakan metode Elman Recurrent Neural Network (ERNN). Data yang digunakan adalah jumlah kunjungan wisatawan periode Januari 2006 hingga Desember 2022 yang diperoleh dari Badan Pusat Statistik, karena pola kunjungan ini dianggap berkorelasi dengan pergerakan barang. Pemilihan variabel input dilakukan berdasarkan hasil analisis autokorelasi (ACF) dan autokorelasi parsial (PACF), dengan menggunakan lag signifikan dari data kunjungan wisatawan. Data dibagi menjadi dua bagian, yaitu 80% untuk pelatihan dan 20% untuk pengujian. Model terbaik dipilih berdasarkan nilai mean absolute percentage error (MAPE) terkecil. Uji residual dilakukan untuk memastikan bahwa hasil prediksi bersifat white noise, yang menunjukkan kecocokan model. Model ERNN terbaik memiliki 10 variabel input, 3 neuron tersembunyi, dan 1 output. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan MAPE sebesar 44,55% pada data pelatihan dan 14,68% pada data pengujian. Ini menunjukkan bahwa model mampu memberikan prediksi yang cukup akurat pada data testing.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based learning model on mathematical problem-solving ability and self-efficacy of eighth-grade junior high school students in statistics material. Problem based learning is an innovative learning model that emphasizes the active involvement of students in the contextual problem-solving process, so it is believed to be able to encourage the development of critical thinking skills and increase students' self-confidence in their learning process and outcomes. This study used a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest-posttest pre-experimental design. The subjects in this study were 32 students of class VIII-G SMP Negeri 8 Yogyakarta who were selected through a purposive sampling technique. The research instrument consisted of a descriptive test to measure problem-solving ability and a Likert scale questionnaire to measure students' self-efficacy. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively and inferentially with a paired sample t-test. The results showed that there was an increase in the average score of problem-solving ability from 61.41 in the pretest to 81.84 in the posttest. Similarly, students' self-efficacy scores increased from an average of 45.41 to 71.22 after treatment. Statistical tests showed that the difference in scores was statistically significant (p < 0.001). These results indicate that the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning model significantly positively impacted students' problem-solving abilities and self-efficacy. Therefore, the PBL model can be used as a strategic alternative in mathematics learning to foster higher-order thinking skills and build self-confidence in completing academic tasks.

Abstract

Literasi statistika merupakan kemampuan penting yang perlu dikembangkan dalam pembelajaran matematika karena berkaitan dengan kemampuan memahami, menafsirkan, mengevaluasi, dan menggunakan informasi berbasis data dalam pengambilan keputusan. Namun, pembelajaran statistika di sekolah masih cenderung berfokus pada prosedur perhitungan dan belum sepenuhnya diarahkan pada penguatan literasi statistika siswa. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru MGMP Matematika SMA/SMK sederajat Kabupaten Kulon Progo dalam merancang pembelajaran dan instrumen evaluasi berbasis literasi statistika. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dalam bentuk workshop pada 28 Agustus 2025 di UNY Kampus Wates dengan peserta sebanyak 29 guru. Materi kegiatan meliputi konsep literasi statistika, penerapannya dalam pembelajaran, contoh LKPD berbasis Problem Based Learning, serta penyusunan instrumen literasi statistika. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa peserta memberikan respons positif terhadap kegiatan. Rata-rata 63% peserta menyatakan sangat setuju dan 36% setuju bahwa kegiatan meningkatkan pemahaman mereka terhadap materi. Selain itu, kualitas pelaksanaan workshop dinilai sangat baik oleh 74% peserta dan baik oleh 23% peserta. Dengan demikian, workshop ini efektif dalam memperkuat pemahaman guru mengenai literasi statistika serta memberikan acuan praktis dalam pengembangan pembelajaran dan evaluasi statistika yang kontekstual.

Abstract

This study reports the define phase of a development study aimed at designing an R-supported Statistical Reasoning Learning Environment (SRLE) model for university statistics learning. The study was motivated by a persistent instructional problem: students were able to perform statistical procedures but had difficulty interpreting results, evaluating data representations, and explaining conclusions in context. A qualitative exploratory design was employed with eight Mathematics Education students and two statistics lecturers selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, classroom observations, students’ learning artefacts, and field notes during a limited R-assisted SRLE trial. The data were analysed thematically using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña interactive model, supported by triangulation, member checking, and an audit trail. Five themes were identified: the need to shift learning from formula execution to contextual interpretation; the value of R-mediated visualisation for connecting data, graphs, and meaning; the emergence of reflective statistical habits of mind through inquiry and peer discussion; the changing role of lecturers as facilitators of statistical reasoning; and the persistence of syntax-related barriers among novice R users. The findings indicate that an R-supported SRLE model should combine real-data tasks, structured R scaffolds, multiple representations, collaborative interpretation, and explicit reflection prompts. The study contributes an empirically grounded set of design principles for the subsequent design and development stages, while avoiding premature claims about model effectiveness before larger-scale validation.

Abstract

This study developed and evaluated interactive Scratch-based learning media integrating computational thinking to support students’ self-regulated learning and mathematical problem-solving ability. The research used a Research and Development approach by adapting the ADDIE model: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Participants were 11 eleventh-grade students and one mathematics teacher at SMK PIRI 1 Yogyakarta. Data were collected through expert validation sheets, teacher and student response questionnaires, learning implementation observations, a mathematical problem-solving test, and a self-regulated learning questionnaire. Qualitative and quantitative analyses included multivariate and univariate normality tests, Hotelling’s T² test, and one-sample t-tests using RStudio. The results indicated that the developed media met validity and practicality criteria. Experts declared the media valid, while the teacher rated it very practical, students rated it practical, and implementation exceeded 80%. The media was effective in improving self-regulated learning, with a significance value of 0.006371, a mean score of 3.8, and 74.99% mastery. However, the proportion test did not confirm that mastery exceeded the predetermined criterion. Mathematical problem-solving ability also failed to meet the minimum effectiveness criterion, with a significance value of 0.1792, a mean score of 77.04, and 64% mastery. Therefore, the media requires refinement to strengthen students’ mathematical problem-solving outcomes consistently.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh model terbaik dari Elman Recurrent Neural Network dalam memprediksi kunjungan wisatawan mancanegara di Provinsi Bali. ERNN merupakan salah satu jenis jaringan recurrent yang terdiri dari lapisan tambahan yang kemudian masuk lagi sebagai input. Variabel input yang digunakan yaitu lag-lag dari variabel jumlah kunjungan wisatawan berdasarkan ACF atau PACF yang signifikan, data dipartisi menjadi 60% data training dan 40% data testing. Penentuan model terbaik dilakukan dengan menentukan banyak neuron tersembunyi yang menghasilkan model ERNN dengan nilai MAPE terkecil. Estimasi bobot model dilakukan dengan algoritma backprobagation. Fungsi pembelajaran untuk menentukan bobot-bobot menggunakan adaptive learning rate (traingdx). Evaluasi model dilakukan dengan menguji error data training hasil pemodelan, model dianggap sudah baik jika bersifat white noise dengan melihat plot ACF dan PACF. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model terbaik dari Elman RNN adalah dengan 12 variabel input, 1 neuron tersembunyi, dan 1 variabel output dengan nilai MAPE pada data training adalah 5,6216% dan untuk data testing adalah 8,4568%, yang artinya model ini baik digunakan untuk proses prediksi. Hasil prediksi menunjukkan penurunan jumlah kunjungan wisatawan pada pertengahan tahun 2020 dan cenderung meningkat mulai dari pertengahan 2021 hingga akhir 2024.Kata kunci : Elman Recurrent Neural Network; prediksi; wisatawan
