Abstract

The rapid advancement of information and communication technology in the 21st century is forcing teachers who teach students at every level of education to change their behavior and mindset, even committees that support them to achieve their teaching goals. The right approach is how one can integrate technology and education, i.e., through the Blended Learning Model. This model combines the usual online teaching and teaching classrooms. The strength of this model is that it can increase interaction between students anytime and anywhere. Rapidly growing technology integration has brought powerful changes to the education system and improved digital skills for students and lecturers. Technology can also influence how think, learn, and interact. Technological developments encourage educators to understand and utilize technology in learning and learning activities to create a dynamic learning environment.

Abstract

Physical activity is one part of occupational therapy, especially in the activity of the kneejoint, where the knee joint is an important part of the movement of the human body. Themovement of the knee joint gets weaker as people age, this is experienced by the elderly. Elderlyare elderly people who often experience knee joints, in addition to the age factor of the kneejoint, it is also influenced by post-accidents, strokes and so on which results in weak knee jointfunction. To restore and function the knee joint, a tool that controls the function of the knee jointis needed, namely a robot manipulator. This robot is a tool that works automatically the same asthe function of the leg which can move the knee joint without any effort from human power butcan be controlled via an Android-based smartphone. This robot manipulator tool works andfunctions with instructions via Android in the form of button control facilities that are onAndroid and also uses voice commands to control the robot. This manipulator robot consists ofseveral main supporting components, namely the controller, manipulator, power supply unit,sensor and actutor. This Robot Manipulator provides a speed setting mode on the tool, so that theuser can adjust the speed of the tool according to its capacity. Also, the movement of this toolcan provide convenience and reduce the risk of weak knee joints. Testing and implementingrobot manipulators for the elderly certainly needs to be analyzed for their achievements byanalyzing using the Wilcoxon Rank test, where this test applies the pretest, namely the initialsafeguards before the use of robots and posttest, namely the action after using the manipulatorrobot.

Abstract

Tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk mengkaji Philosophy TVET di era derupsi revolusi industri 4.0 di Indonesia, yang meliputi tentang bagaimana filsafat pendidikan kejuruan, TVET, pembelajaran di Abad XXI hingga Revolusi industri 4.0. Praksis pendidikan kejuruan di Indonesia lebih cendrung mengarah penggunaan mazab Prosser melalui filosfi esensialisme dan mazab Dewey filosofi pragmatis. Namun dalam perjalannyan perubahan-perubahan yang terjadi dalam pembelajaran Abad XXI dan perkembangan teknologi modern, maka peran TVET sebagai pendidikan dan pelatihan yang tujuanya mempersiapkan tenaga kerja sesuai kebutuhan dunia kerja memiliki tantangan tersendiri. TVET cenderung kefilosofi pragmatism, dan sepanjang perubahan yang terjadi pada perkembangan berbasis sains, teknologi dan rekayasa. Terkait dengan perkembangan teknologi yang modern ini merupakan ciri dari filosofi pragmatis rekonstruksi yakni reformasi sosial yang menghendaki budaya modern. Menjawab reformasi sistem TVET dibutuhkanya antisipatif terhadap perubahan Abad XXI, maka pembelajaran disesuai dengan 21st Century Skills. Revolusi Industri 4.0 menjadi era baru perindustrian yang banyak menggunakan teknologi virtual dan canggih, sehingga di era ini menjadi pendorong munculnya ide-ide baru, ciptaan baru maupun sesuatu yang lama dimodifikasi untuk berinovasi dalam mengembangkan teknologi baru. Oleh karena itu pendidikan kejuruan saat ini menghadapi tantangan yang cukup besar, maka pendidikan kejuruan mesti mempersiapkan segala hal dalam menghadapi transisi ini. Kata kunci: Philosophy TVET, pendidikan kejuruan, revolusi industri 4.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kesiapan mengajar terhadap sikap dalam mengajar calon guru mda Pendidikan Teknik Mesin FT UNP. Guru muda merupakan estapet penerus pendidikan. Banyak kompetensi yang harus disiapkan sebagai guru muda. Fenomena di lapangan banyak hal terjadi pada guru muda, mulai dari kesiapan dalam mengajar, pengkondisian kelas, mental saat mengajar dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian ex-post facto karena penelitian ini dilakukan pada suatu peristiwa yang telah terjadi kemudian dirunut ke belakang untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang dapat menimbulkan kejadian tersebut tanpa memberikan treatment atau manipulation. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis regresi. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Pendidikan Teknik Mesin angkatan 2016 yang berjumlah 45 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar angket tertutup. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengujian hipotesis adalah dengan analisis regresi. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa semakin naik kesiapan mengajar mahasiswa maka akan meningkatkan sikap dalam mengajar mahasiswa.

Abstract

This research goal is to describe the implementation of the 2013 curriculum, especially in natural science subjects at SMK Negeri 1 Payakumbuh. The 2013 curriculum is one of the government's strategies to improve the quality of education. Payakumbuh State Vocational School 1 is one of the schools that have implemented or implemented the curriculum since 2014. This evaluation research departs from a roblem found in the implementation of the 2013 curriculum in Vocational School 1 Payakumbuh, especially science. The subjects of this study were students and science teachers at SMK Negeri 1 Payakumbuh. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive qualitative. This research describes how the implementation of the 2013 curriculum in schools is based on the staskeholder countenance evaluation model and is guided by the standards used. The results showed that: 1). In the preliminary stage, 100% meet the standards of the 2013 Curriculum tool and learning planning; 2). At the transaction stage, 40% did not meet the conditions for learning implementation and 40% did not meet the standards for authentic assessment; 3). At the yield stage, 83.3% did not meet the provisions for authentic assessment results

Abstract

Based on the studies and preliminary studies that have been conducted, the research problems are as follows: The personality (needs) of lecturers and students in the learning process of computer networks shows that they have high expectations of the learning process. Where are their expectations of the learning process that is able to improve 21st century competencies (critical thinking, communication, collaboration, creativity). The process and achievements of computer network courses have not been optimal. The purpose of developing a learning model of competency based learning is to help educators realize the learning process that is able to optimize the role of students in constructing their knowledge, through real experiences students get in the learning process. The design of the development of this competency based learning model uses the ADDIE model. Data was collected by questionnaires, observations, interviews and tests. Data is analyzed using quantitative and qualitative methods (mix method) so that learning is obtained through empirical and comprehensive studies. Based on the analysis carried out all products are declared valid, practical, and effective. The results of this study can be used by lecturers, and learning designers in developing or realizing the learning process that is able to optimize the role of students to be creative and innovative in building students' knowledge and competencies in the learning process.

Abstract

This research aims to explain the contribution of the readiness of student work Field Industrial practice Vocational High School 1 West Sumatra engineering expertise machining program. The method used is descriptive moetode Ex-post facto or also called measurement after the incident. Subjects in the study were 86iperson who is a student of VHS 1 West Sumatra engineering expertise machining program. Data collection researchers did use a questionnaire that was distributed to the students. Field Industrial practice experience vocational students contributedi32.5% of the students' work readiness. The conclusion of this is the implementation Field Industrial practice peneltiian students of VHS 1 West Sumatra engineering expertise machining program included in both categories, and for job readiness 1 West Sumatra vocational students in the high category. This means that research subjects are students of VHS 1 West Sumatra engineering expertise machining program has a good level of job readiness

Abstract

The research objective is to determine the competencies needed by productive teachers to draw with software so that graduates have the competencies desired by the business world and the industrial world. Descriptive qualitative research methods. The data in this research are descriptive narrative. Data sources from interviews, observations and documentation. The resource persons consisted of planning and supervision consulting firms, lecturers majoring in building engineering education at Padang State University and teachers teaching drawing with software at SMK N1 Padang and at SMK N1 SUMBAR. Data collection techniques with interactive and non-interactive. Data analysis techniques using qualitative techniques. Data validity is done by Source Triangulation. The results of the analysis: The teacher must master the science of drawing, cost estimation, time, quality and K3. The teacher must motivate and explain to graduates drawing with software how the work environment work environment. The teacher must teach good communication ethics and soft skills. The teacher must follow the development of software and also master its use. Teachers must be able to use IT to add references and self-development.

Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah pemahaman mahasiswa yang berasal dari sekolah menengah umum lebih menekankan pada aspek teoritis, dan tidak dalam aspek keterampilan, materi pembelajaran pemangkasan rambut selama ini masih banyak disampaikan dalam aspek teori. Belum adanya media/sumber belajar yang berorientasi pada kemandirian, kemampuan dalam membuat pembelajaran berbasis elektronik belum optimal, serta hasil belajar mahasiswa rendah. Tujuan penelitian yaitu: (1) Untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran video tutorial pangkas rambut, (2) Untuk mengukur efektivitas media pembelajaran video tutorial pangkas rambut. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan Four-D yang terdiri dari tahap pendefenisian, perancangan, pengembangan dan penyebaran. Hasil uji efektifitas media video tutorial pembelajaran diperoleh dari nilai kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol mahasiswa setelah mengunakan media video tutorial pembelajaran berada dalam kategori efektif. Kesimpulannya yaitu: (1) Media pembelajaran video tutorial pangkas rambut sudah berhasil dikembangkan, (2) Media pembelajaran video tutorial pangkas rambut sudah efektif digunakan pada mata kuliah Pemangkasan Rambut mahasiswa jurusan Pendidikan Tata Rias dan Kecantikan di Universitas Negeri Padang.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal and analyze how much (1) the contribution of pedagogical competence to the implementation of teacher duties, (2) the contribution of principals' transformational leadership to the implementation of teacher duties and (3) the contribution of pedagogical competence and principals' transformational leadership to the implementation of teacher duties of SMKN 1 Padang both individually and together. This research uses a quantitative approach. The population is all teachers at SMKN 1 Padang totaling 89 people, while the sample is 56 people determined by Stratified Proportional Random Sampling technique and the strata used are educator certification and length of service. Data were obtained using a Likert scale questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. The results of data analysis show that (1) pedagogical competence contributes significantly to the implementation of teacher duties by 19.2%. (2) principals' transformational leadership significantly contributed 8.2%, while (3) pedagogical competence and principals' transformational leadership together contributed 24%. Data analysis has shown that the three hypotheses can be accepted empirically. From the findings, it can be concluded that pedagogical competence and principals' transformational leadership are two independent variables that have a positive impact on the dependent variable of teachers' task implementation. To improve the implementation of the duties of teachers of SMKN 1 Padang, it is necessary to improve through pedagogical competence and transformational leadership of principals properly and responsibly.
