Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the problem-based learning situation in the implementation of the 2013 SMK curriculum and the learning situation after the implementation of Problem Based Learning (PBM). The approach of this research is a quantitative research using the ex post facto method and the data analyzed descriptively. The study was conducted in four majors at SMK Negeri 2 Padang. The population sample in this study was the educator who demonstrated the implementation of PBM in the implementation of the 2013 Curriculum. Information was collected with interview techniques and questionnaires by conducting Focused Group Discussions. Analyzing the data is done descriptively. This study obtained results, namely: a). PBM is so potentially carried out in the implementation of the 2013 curriculum in SMK. The stability of educators in the implementation of the 2013 curriculum is classified as very high, with an average value of around 95 and an achievement score of 72%. The accuracy of the implementation of learning in the implementation of the 2013 curriculum is classified as a very high category with an average of 153 and an achievement score of 79%. Of the 100 teachers or educators, 64 of them suggested that PBM was feasible to be implemented in all subjects in the implementation of the 2013 curriculum and b). PBM has been proven to add value to students' skills in terms of competencies, attitudes, and general and specific knowledge.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas tentang perancangan pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis animated demonstration pada mata pelajaran komputer dan jaringan dasar di sekolah menengah kejuruan (smk). Media pembelajaran yang dirancang berisi materi sejarah komputer dan komponen-komponen komputer beserta animasi perancangan jaringan komputer yang bersifat abstrak dan tidak bisa dilihat secara kasat mata. Materi tersebut digambarkan secara nyata dan mudah dipahami oleh perserta didik. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengembangan media pemebelajaran adalah R&D (research and development). Pengembangan media pembelajaran menggunakan proses 4D (four-D) dengan Use case diagram, flowchart dan selanjutnya dikembangkan menggunakan tool Adobe Flash cs6. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran komputer dan jaringan dasar mudah digunakan bagi peserta didik dan guru dalam proses pembelajaran. Kata kunci: Media Pembelajaran, Jaringan Dasar, Komputer

Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the implementation of the curriculum using the Logic Evaluation Model which includes 4 aspects; input evaluation, activity evaluation, output evaluation and outcome evaluation. The study approach used was mixed approach with a sequential explanatory method (sequence of evidence). This study was conducted by doing quantitative research first, then continue the research with qualitative methods to find conclusions. The sampling technique used Henry King's Nomogram Table, so that the number of teachers involved in this study was 78. In this study, researchers found that the implementation of Kurikulum 2013 was still quite sufficient with an average score was 3.84 and the TCR was 75.52%. The results of the evaluation of Kurikulum 2013 implementation on the input aspect was good with an average score was 3.96 and the TCR was 80.28%, in activity aspect it is sufficient with 3.70 average score and the TCR was 74.06%, The output aspect of Kurikulum 2013 implementation is sufficient with the average TCR was 3.96 and the average indicator was 73.62%, then the outcomes aspect is sufficient with the average score was 3.73 and the TCR was 74.13%. This research implies that there is a need for improvement in activities, inputs, and outcomes aspect, even though the activity evaluation component showed good Kurikulum 2013 implementation.
