Abstract

Pasar Pedati Village in Central Bengkulu Regency is one of the regions with a relatively high production of young coconuts. The demand for young coconuts has been increasing yearly, driven by various factors, including population growth. This study aims to analyze the level of demand for young coconuts and assess the influence of factors such as the price of young coconuts, watermelon prices, traders' income, seasons, and sales systems on the demand for young coconuts in Pasar Pedati Village. This research employs a quantitative approach, utilizing questionnaires and interviews conducted with 65 young coconut traders selected using the census sampling technique. Data were analyzed using multiple coefficient of determination analysis (R²) with the assistance of SPSS Statistics 25 software. Hypotheses were tested using both simultaneous regression analysis (F-test) and partial regression analysis (T-test). The findings reveal that the demand for young coconuts is high, with 60% of respondents reporting strong demand. Partial analysis indicates that the price of young coconuts and traders' income significantly influence demand, while simultaneous testing shows that all independent variables collectively have a significant impact on the dependent variable. The adjusted R-square value is 0.856, indicating that 85.6% of the variance in young coconut demand is explained by the independent variables, namely, the price of young coconuts, watermelon prices, traders' income, seasons, and sales systems, while the remaining 14.4% is explained by other factors not included in this study.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the estimated trend of mustard greens production and consumption in Bengkulu Province for the next 10 years 2022 - 2031. This research was conducted in Bengkulu Province using secondary data, with analysis using the least squares method. The results of this research show that the predicted trend in the estimated production of mustard greens (Brassica juncea L) in Bengkulu Province in 2022 - 2031 shows a straight line movement from bottom left to top right, that mustard greens production tends to increase, with the average growth being 0.989 percent per year starting from the forecast year for mustard greens (Brassica juncea L) commodities in the next 10 year period for Bengkulu Province, the average growth is 0.989% per year, starting from 2022 amounting to around 32,782 tons, in 2023 amounting to around 32,839 tons, in 2024 amounting to around 32,897 tons, in 2025 totaling around 32,954 tons, in 2026 totaling around 33,012 tons, in 2027 totaling around 33,070 tons, in 2028 totaling around 33,120 tons, in 2029 totaling around 33,185 tons, in 2030 totaling around 33.24 tons, in 2031 amounting to around 33,305 tons. The estimated trend of consumption of mustard greens (Brassica juncea L) in Indonesia in 2022 - 2031 shows a straight line movement from bottom left to top right, that consumption of mustard greens tends to increase, with an average growth of 1.144 percent per starting from 2022 amounting to around 1.65 tonnes, in 2023 amounting to around 1.66 tonnes, in 2024 amounting to around 1.68 tonnes, in 2025 amounting to around 1.69 tonnes, in 2026 amounting to around 1.7 tonnes, in 2027 amounting to around 1.72 tons, in 2028 amounting to around 1.73 tons, in 2029 amounting to around 1.74 tons, in 2030 amounting to around 1.75 tons, and in 2031 amounting to around 1.76 tons.

Abstract

Purpose : The aim of this research is to determine the advantages and acceptance obtained by each owner of home-based tempeh industries located in Sukaraja District. Method: The research conducted in Sukaraja District used a sampling method that took certain considerations into account, namely the duration of the business (10 years) and the production volume (500 kg per month). After consideration, the number of respondents obtained was 5 (five) respondents. Quantitative research, the data obtained in the field is processed using Microsoft Excel. Results: This study presents the revenue of home-based tempeh industries in Sukaraja District for the month of April, with an average revenue of Rp.23,325,000. Poernomo's tempeh industry generated a revenue of Rp.29,935,000, Randat earned Rp.24,450,000, Salim Rp.22,960,000, Saumi Rp.21,480,000, and Agil's industry earned Rp.17,800,000. The profits obtained from the five home-based tempeh industries are as follows: Poernomo's Rp.11,890,698, Randat's Rp.7,371,032, Salim's Rp.7,806,869, Saumi's Rp.6,085,774, Agil's Rp.4,295,209, with an average profit of Rp.7,489,916. Findings: Success acceptance highest can be attributed to several key factors, including operational efficiency and greater economies of scale and greater economies of scale Novelty: This study provides new insights into the profits earned by tempeh artisans in Sukaraja sub-district. Sukaraja sub-district. Originality: This study offers an analysis of the profitability of the household-scale profit analysis of the household-scale tempeh industry in Sukaraja District. Abstract

Tren nongkrong dikedai kopi membuat bisnis kedai kopi memiliki kemajuan yang sangat pesat. Tomoro Coffee yang terletak di Padang Jati, Kota Bengkulu menjadi salah satu kedai kopi yang populer dengan menawarkan minuman kopi yang dapat menyesuaikan kebutuhan pecinta kopi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kepuasan konsumen terhadap minuman kopi Tomoro Padang Jati, Kota Bengkulu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif dan regresi linear berganda. Penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan metode standar eror untuk proporsi atau presentase Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan dari variabel kualitas produk, harga, citra merek dan inovasi produk terhadap kepuasan konsumen pada minuman Kopi Tomoro Coffee Padang Jati, Kota Bengkulu. Maka dapat disimpulkan kualitas produk, harga, citra merek dan inovasi produk pada Kopi Tomoro Coffee Padang Jati, Kota Bengkulu terbukti dapat meningkatkan kepuasan konsumen. Secara parsial tidak terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan dari variabel kualitas pelayanan dan emosional terhadap kepuasan konsumen pada minuman Kopi Tomoro Coffee Padang Jati, Kota Bengkulu. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa variabel kualitas pelayanan dan emosional tidak mempengaruhi kepuasan konsumen secara langsung. Dengan Adjusted R Square (R2 ) sebesar 0,645 atau 64,5%, penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya variabel-variabel tersebut dalam meningkatkan kepuasan pelanggan di Tomoro Coffee Padang Jati, Kota Bengkulu.

Abstract

The importance of nutrients in vegetables for the human body to meet the needs of minerals and vitamins. Indonesians can meet their vegetable needs with various choices at varying prices. This study aims to determine the method of determining the selling price of vegetables and the effect of price determination on the number of sales of vegetable retailers at the Pulau Baai Market in Bengkulu City. The research methods used is qualitative and quantitative. The selection of respondents used the census method totaling 28 people. The analysis used in this study is descriptive analysis and simple linear regression. The results of the study showed that vegetable retailers at the Pulau Baai Market in Bengkulu City used the (mark pricing) method in determining prices, where the average markup value for cabbage was IDR 3,096 /kg, tomatoes IDR 2,378 /kg, carrots IDR 3,453 /kg, Chinese cabbage IDR 2,685 /kg, spinach IDR 721 /kg, and kale IDR 255 /kg and vegetables whose pricing affects the number of sales are Chinese cabbage and kale. Meanwhile, the determination of selling prices that do not affect the amount of sales are cabbage, tomatoes, carrots, and spinach.

Abstract

Sawang Lebar Village is one of the villages located in Tanjung Agung Palik District, North Bengkulu, Bengkulu Province. Based on data from the Bengkulu Tengah Regency Agriculture Service in 2023, farmers in Sawang Lebar Village generally grow tomatoes as their daily source of income. The nature of tomatoes is that they rot quickly so that unsold fruit is simply thrown away. The purpose of this community service activity is to form a tomato noodle and healthy stick processing business unit and to increase the skills and knowledge of members of the Sabar Subur and Bina Karya Farmers Group regarding food processing. This tomato noodle and healthy stick processing activity has been carried out for 1 month from preparation to implementation of the activity for the implementation of the activity at the Village Hall in Sawang Lebar Village, Tanjung Agung Palik District, North Bengkulu, Bengkulu Province which was attended by mothers from the Sabar Subur and Bina Karya Farmers Group consisting of 20 (twenty) people. During the activity, there were no obstacles faced because each participant, the day before the activity was carried out, had received material on processing tomato sticks and tomato noodles.

Abstract

Pentingnya nutrisi dalam sayuran bagi tubuh manusia untuk memenuhi kebutuhan mineral dan vitamin. Masyarakat Indonesia dapat memenuhi kebutuhan akan sayuran dengan berbagai pilihan sayuran dengan harga yang bervariasi pula. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui metode penetapan harga jual sayuran dan pengaruh penetapan harga terhadap jumlah penjualan pedagang pengecer sayuran di Pasar Pulau Baai Kota Bengkulu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Pemilihan responden menggunakan metode sensus yang berjumlah 28 orang. Analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif dan regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Pedagang pengecer sayuran di Pasar Pulau Baai Kota Bengkulu menggunakan metode (mark up pricing) dalam penetapan harga, yang mana untuk nilai rata-rata mark up sayur kol sebesar Rp 3.096/Kg, tomat sebesar Rp 2.378/Kg, wortel sebesar Rp 3.453/Kg, sawi putih sebesar Rp 2.685/Kg, bayam sebesar Rp 721/Kg, dan kangkung sebesar Rp 255/Kg serta sayuran yang penetapan harganya berpengaruh terhadap jumlah penjualan yaitu sayuran sawi putih dan sayur kangkung. Sedangkan penetapan harga jual yang tidak berpengaruh terhadap jumlah penjualan yakni sayuran kol, tomat, wortel, dan bayam

Abstract

School-age children are future assets that require full attention from parents and the government, especially in fulfilling their nutritional intake. They need a balanced nutritional intake to get the needs of their physical and biological development. As one of the schools located in the middle of the city, students at SMKN 4 Bengkulu City have very high potential in consuming snacks that are circulated both in the school environment and outside the school. This community service activity is carried out with the aim of providing education to students of SMKN 4 Bengkulu City, about choosing food products or snacks that are safe for consumption, and how to detect preservatives contained in food in a simple way. The activity begins with socialization and counseling on the importance of healthy food consumption for adolescents, followed by the practice of analyzing the detection of preservatives in food products. The results of the activity showed that socializing the importance of consuming healthy and nutritious food products could increase the knowledge, concern and understanding of students at SMKN 4 Bengkulu City, so that they could be more selective in choosing the snacks they consumed. Furthermore, the students of SMKN 4 Bengkulu City were able to analyze the detection of preservatives with a simple method, so as to avoid the consumption of harmful foods, with the result that no samples of snack products containing borax or formalin were found.

Abstract

Love bird di Indonesia dikenal dengan sebutan burung cinta. Studi bertujuan untuk mengetahui total jumlah dan kepadatan love bird yang didomestikasi oleh para pemelihara burung di beberapa kecamatan di Kaur. Studi telah dilaksanakan selama 3 bulan pada tahun 2024. Studi dilakukan dengan metode survei lapangan melalui aktifitas interview para pemelihara burung menggunakan kuisioner dan observasi langsung di lokasi. Penentuan responden menggunakan metode pengumpulan data bola salju. Variabel utama dalam studi ini antara lain jumlah burung yang dipelihara berdasarkan struktur umur burung (muda dan dewasa) dan perhitungan kepadatan populasi berdasarkan formula Density. Hasil studi diketahui bahwa jumlah total love bird di 5 kecamatan yang ada di Kaur berjumlah 51 ekor yang terdiri atas 28 jantan dan 23 betina. Seluruh love bird (100%) adalah love bird umur dewasa dan 0% yang berumur muda pada saat studi dilakukan. Kepadatan love bird masih tergolong rendah karena ≤ 1 ekor/km2 (D = 0,036 ekor/km2). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa love bird jantan dewasa masih menjadi pilihan pemelihara dan masih memiliki potensi untuk dikembangkan lebih banyak jumlahnya. Abstract

Air Putih Village is a village that has just expanded from its main village on September 15 2011. Therefore Air Putih Village is still in the process of learning to become a more advanced and superior village in various sectors. The agricultural sector is very important in supporting the local, national and international economy. Of course, the agricultural sector is also expected to be able to become a supporting sector for Air Putih Village to become a village that is more independent in the economy and food. The problem that is often faced is the increase in the price of basic commodities which continues to soar, this of course contributes to the economic difficulties of the people who live in poverty, while vegetable crops support basic commodities. In order to meet the needs and convenience of food for the people of Air Putih Village, the Dehasen University Faculty of Agriculture Community Service team and partners agreed to hold a socialization for the use of yards. The yard of the house can be used as a planting medium for various vegetables to support people's daily food needs. This makes it easier for people to meet their needs for minerals and vitamins. Besides that, it can help the community's economy by reducing expenses for vegetable needs. So counseling and training was carried out on the use of home yards by planting various vegetables. The benefits of using yard land economically are able to reduce family expenses and even if it is occupied can provide additional family income.
