Abstract

Pragmatism could be understood as an approach whose position is equal to the other approaches in literary studies. Pragmatism focussed discussion on the role and readers functin totally. Cultural studies has to do with the whole aspects of human’s life as a method to undertand cultural changes and its effect in social life. The Text of Wasiat Renungan Masa-Pengalaman Baru as literary objection this research was understood in cultural changes and the previous phenomenon was a prat of field discusiion of cultural studies wich could be done by decoding organic structure which shapes it (diction), function (das sein=reality), and the meaning (das sollen=idealisme). Research data ws collected trough transcription tehnique because the text of Renungan Masa-Pengalaman Baru is a lingual symbol (forms) to understand meaning and function. Analysis and data interpretation used phenomenology approach. It was conclued that the pragmatism of Wasiat Renungan Masa-Pengalaman Baru composed by Hamzanwadi was understood through pattern realtions function and meaning.  Culture decentring was someone’s emotion expression to keep expectation to one he loves, communication for a reality which have to be faced, satire toward unconciousness on life reality. Pragmatism constituted idea guidance and good deeds, direction and goal of noble strugle, warning to the unappropriate events, inspirations the new appropriate  one, basic and good behaviour standard in choosing and selecting life struggle instruments.  Key words: Wasiat Renungan Masa-Pengalaman Baru, Pragmatism, Culture Studies

Abstract

This study is an evaluative study using the CIPP model to evaluate the effectiveness of implementing the School-based Management program at the 1 Sukasada State High School. The subjects involved 70 respondents, including the head of the school, teachers, entrepreneurs, students, and school committees. Data processing is performed in a descriptive quantitative manner with simple statistical analysis and tabulation, following the National Department of Education standards. The results showed a context component score of 2,973, an input of 3,604, a process of 2,892, and a product (output and outcomes) of 2,495. The results of the observations show that the conditions of the community and the potential of the area are very supportive of the development of schools. However, of the 483 alumni, only 230 (46.75%) were traceable, with 27.39% working according to competence and 20.87% continuing education. Low output quality is affected by the efficiency of processes, contexts, and inputs, resulting in low school performance efficiency scores. Thus, the effectiveness of the implementation of School-based Management in the State High School 1 Sukasada was assessed as unsatisfactory. It is recommended that managers improve planning, consider market needs, and improve the effectiveness of implementation and evaluation of School-Based Management programs in the school.

Abstract

The study focuses on three critical aspects of reading: content comprehension, reading speed, and reading effectiveness. The objective is to understand the literacy competence of these students based on PIRLS parameters and to propose recommendations for enhancing their reading literacy. Data was gathered through reading tests, observations, and interviews. The findings reveal that the student's ability to comprehend reading content falls into the low category, at 0.51%, compared to 15%, 19%, and 24% in IEA countries. Their reading speed is moderate, averaging 151.1 words per minute, within the national average range of 130-180 words per minute. However, according to PIRLS, their reading effectiveness is low, at 34.9%, compared to the 60-80% standard in IEA member countries; the low level of content comprehension, reading effectiveness, and moderate reading speed level can be attributed to external factors. These include the perception of teachers, parents, society, and the government that reading merely involves stringing words together in a broader grammatical context. Internally, students are encouraged to read fluently to gather factual information and to measure the number of words read within a specific timeframe. This study underscores the need for a comprehensive approach to improve reading literacy among fourth-grade students in East Lombok.

Abstract

Tujuan di adakan kegiatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) ini untuk mengetahui prestasi belajar siswa dengan menggunakan metode demonstrasi pada kelas IV  SDN 3 Filial SDN 1 Sajang. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan penelitian ini adalah metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), meliputi: (1) Perencanaan (Planning), (2) Pelaksanaan dan Observasi (Acting and Observing), dan (3) Refleksi (Reflecting). Data di kumpulkan dengan tes tertulis, observasi dan kuesioner. Analisis data dilakukan dengan evaluasi berupa soal tes tertulis pada setiap akhir putaran. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data maka dapat dikemukakan beberapa kesimpulan yaitu : prestasi siswa Kelas IV SDN 3 Filial SDN 1 Sajang dalam  mengidentifikasi serta mendeskripsikan hubungan antara makhluk hidup dengan lingkungannya dan menyusun laporan hasil pengamatan dalam bentuk LKS yang terkait dengan pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dapat ditingkatkan melalui metode demonstrasi, metode demonstrasi sebagai salah satu metode pembelajaran dapat  meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa Kelas IV SDN 3 Filial SDN 1 Sajang dalam pembelajaran IPA dengan Materi Makhluk Hidup dan lingkungannya, metode demonstrasi sebagai salah satu metode pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan keterampilan siswa Kelas IV SDN 3 Filial SDN 1 Sajang dalam menulis laporan hasil pengamatan dalam bentuk LKS pada pembelajaran IPA.

Abstract

The aims of this study were (1) to find out the life history of TGKH. Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Madjid as National Hero from West Nusa Tenggara Province; (2) Analyze the character values contained in the heroism of TGKH. Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Madjid in social, da'wah, and education; (3) Analyze the integration of the heroic values of the TGKH. Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Madjid as a learning resource for social studies subjects at MTs. Mu'allimin NWDI Pancor. Literature research was used to explore the value of heroism TGKH. Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Madjid. The results showed that TGKH. Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Madjid is one of the National Heroes from NTB who fought for independence in the fields of preaching and education. The values can be analyzed from the TGKH National Hero figures. Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Madjid, namely: religious values, nationality, scholarship, brotherhood (cooperation, mutual cooperation), leadership, independence, innovation and creativity, entrepreneurship, and health. The implications of the values of his struggle in shaping the national character of students are the value of awareness of the nature of the struggle in life, the value of awareness in work, the value of awareness of space and time, the value of awareness of the relationship with God Almighty, fellow human beings, and the natural environment. Integrating heroic values TGKH. Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Madjid was carried out by adding the involvement of values in the indicators developed in the IPS learning syllabus and integrating it through lesson plans and teaching materials.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) untuk mengetahui riwayat hidup TGKH. Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Madjid sebagai Pahlawan Nasional dari Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat; (2)  Menganalisis nilai-nilai karakter yang terkandung dalam kepahlawanan tokoh TGKH. Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Madjid dalam bidang sosial, dakwah, dan pendidikan; (3) Menganalisis integrasi nilai-nilai kepahlawanan tokoh TGKH. Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Madjid sebagai sumber belajar pada mata pelajaran IPS di MTs. Mu'allimin NWDI Pancor. Penelitian kepustakaan digunakan untuk menggali nilai kepahlawanan TGKH. Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Madjid. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa TGKH. Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Madjid adalah salah satu Pahlawan Nasional asal NTB yang memperjuangkan kemerdekaan di bidang dakwah dan pendidikan. Nilai-nilai tersebut dapat dianalisis dari tokoh-tokoh Pahlawan Nasional TGKH. Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Madjid, yaitu: nilai-nilai religius, kebangsaan, keilmuwan, ukhuwah (kerja sama, gotong royong), kepemimpinan, kemandirian, inovasi dan kreativitas, kewirausahaan, dan kesehatan. Implikasi nilai-nilai perjuangannya dalam membentuk karakter bangsa peserta didik adalah nilai kesadaran hakikat perjuangan dalam hidup, nilai kesadaran dalam berkarya, nilai kesadaran ruang dan waktu, nilai kesadaran akan hubungan dengan Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, sesama manusia, dan alam lingkungan. Mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai kepahlawanan TGKH. Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Madjid dilakukan dengan menambahkan keterlibatan nilai dalam indikator yang dikembangkan dalam silabus pembelajaran IPS dan mengintegrasikannya melalui RPP dan bahan ajar.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the profiles of students with functional learning disabilities in 30 schools (Elementary Schools/Madrasah Ibtidaiyah) in Lombok Timur, Indonesia, as well as to explore the challenges faced by teachers and principals in providing appropriate interventions. The research methodology employed data analysis from questionnaires, interviews, and Focus Group Discussions with 120 teachers from Elementary Schools/Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. The analysis results indicate that out of a total of 2763 registered students, 283 students experience functional learning disabilities, with the majority being female students (58%) and male students (42%). Cognitive and dyslexia-related disabilities are the most common types of disabilities, followed by behavioural and emotional disabilities. Teachers and principals encounter difficulties in providing appropriate and effective interventions for these students with special needs. Based on the results of the analysis, it is concluded that concerted efforts are required among schools, teachers, parents, and various stakeholders to develop more effective inclusive education strategies. Recommended steps include providing additional training for teachers, creating more structured student support programs, and enhancing communication between schools and parents.
