Abstract

This study aims to find how the implementation mix promotion package at PT. Aras Hijrah Tour & Travel Pekanbaru. The research method that is used is qualitative descriptive. The main informants of the study were Director PT.Aras Hijrah Tour & Travel Pekanbaru, supporting informants were Manager and ticket section. Data collection is done by direct interview and documentation. Data analysis is done through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results of this study concluded that has been PT. Aras Hijrah Tour & Travel uses 4 (four) promotional mix elements in the sale of its tour packages,that is : 1) Advertising, (2) Sales Promotion, (3) Public Relations, (4) Direct marketing. Implementation the promotional mix of PT. Aras Hijrah Tour & Travel it’s good, this can be seen from the combination of the promotional mix, especially for advertising and public relations. Abstract

At present the condition of Nopi Garden Nopi is no longer good due to the damage to the embankment that collapsed on Lake Nopi Lake. So the minimum number of visitors who come to Nopi Garden Lake. Therefore the study aims to describe Lake Nopi Lake as a place for Family Recreation. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods. The subjects of this study were key informants, namely Nopi garden Lake Manager, Head of Destination for Culture and Tourism of Kuantan Singingi Regency, the Community around Nopi Garden Lake, and additional informants, namely Nopi Garden Lake Visitors.Data collection techniques used are observation, documentation, and interviews.The results showed that the Nopi Garden Rustic Hill Village Mudik Quantity District, Kuantan Singingi Regency as a place for family recreation was no longer functioning. For the attraction activities at Lake Nopi Garden, it is no longer good, as there are no more activities to play bicycle water, due to damage to Nopi Garden Lake. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the promotion mix of Malay Traditional Food and the response of visitor or society about the promotion mix which have been done by Hotel Furaya Pekanbaru management. The sample of this research is 150 people, taken by using accidental sampling techniques and key informant in this research consists of 3 people. This research format is survey the characteristic of this research is descriptive research. Based on the goals were achieved, this research uses qualitative method with triangulation method techniques as data validity test and quantitative method with the descriptive statistic technique and presentation of data in table format or frequency distribution in percentage as statement of the visitor response result. Results from this study is that the Hotel Furaya Pekanbaru management has done promotions by advertisements in newspapers, flyers and social media, sales promotion and personal selling. Based on the results of questionnaires, the positive response of respondents was most dominant in only three forms of media promotion, they are an online newspaper at statement item of the clarification on information and social media at the statement item about the use of understandable sentences. The remaining answers of the respondent’s statement stated that they were less agreed or not interested in the implementation performed.Keywords: Advertising, Sales Promotion, and Personal Selling

Abstract

The promotion is part of the marketing activities i.e. convince, persuade, inform, explain, and remind the product either goods or services. The implementation of the promotion done by making the product more attractive to the hotel and is known by the prospective customer, so that they are more interested in stay or buy other products. This research uses descriptive quantitative methods to address the problem. For research purposes, first used the technique of triangulation, and for the purpose of both a descriptive statistical techniques used. The samples in the were 120 respondents, who were teken by using stratified random sample. While data collection techniques in the study use observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The results of the research implementation of Promotion through Social Media in Swiss-Belhotel Harbour Bay Batam Province of Riau Islands is the maintainer uses 2 types of social media i.e. facebook fanspage and instagram. Promotional mix or sub-variable on the promotion through the media soisal divided into advertising and public relations. Overall, the responses of the respondents against the implementation of promotion through social media conducted by the Swiss-Belhotel Harbour Bay Batam has done well.Keywords: Social Media, public relations, advertising, promotions

Abstract

Motivation is the force that drives someone to do something to achieve the goal. These forces are basically stimulated by their various needs. The need is the reason tourists visit in the tourist attraction. This study aims to find out what the motivation for travelers visiting the attractions in the village pawan Rokan Hulu. This study used a qualitative method with descriptive approach to address issues. For the purposes of the first use of the interview, and for the second goal in using Cross Tabulation techniques. The sample in this study were 60 respondents, taken using accidental sampling. While data collection techniques in this study using observation, questionnaire, interview and documentation. By using a Likert scale as a measure to determine the length of the short interval. Motivation can be grouped into four major sub groups motivational variables physical, cultural motivation, social motivation, and Fantasi.Mclntosh 1977 murphy Sharpley 1985 and 1994 (in Pitana and Gayatri 2005: 59. By indicator relaxation, health, looking for comfort, sports activities, learn the customs, know the traditions, learn the culture, see the art, stay in touch relatives, maintaining prestige, got hospitality, refuge, looking for fantasy, enjoy the satisfaction, seeking status, seeking freedom. Abstract

Attraction Waterfall Lubuak Batang one of the attractions waterfalls in District 50 City which has a height of approximately 50-70 meters. The uniqueness of this waterfall is flanked by two high stone walls and in the middle of the stone wall the waterfall is flowing beautifully, even during the dry season this waterfall is no drought and access to this tourist attraction is difficult to achieve and not far Of the Community involved.This study aims to determine the development of accessibility in waterfall Lubuak Batang and to find out how the response of visitors to accessibility to this attraction. This research uses qualitative method with survey approach, that is find out visitor response about accessibility at Lubuak Batang waterfall tourism area. Where the researchers tried to explain how the community in the development of accessibility As a questionnaire distributed as many as 50 people. Abstract

This research aims to ease, price, trust, and knowledge that given by Online travel agent at Aryaduta Hotel Pekanbaru. Grand Jatra Hotel and Primier Hotel Pekanbaru.This research was used quantitative method toexamined the issues. The sample in this research are 100 people with use Stratified Random Sampling as a method. Meanwhile this research data accumulation technique was used quisnionare, observation, and interviews. Questionnaire measuring technique of this reaseach was used Likert Scale, then the data will processing by quantitative method with numeric result that orientations at clear and certain conclusion. Based on the research that has been done, Online Travel Agent have give ease, low price, trust, and knowledge to their consumer who did make reservation by Online Travel Agent with presentation is over then 60%.Keywords:Online Tavel Agent, Ease, Trust, Price, Knowledge

Abstract

With the many visitors coming from different regions that have different attitudes will have an impact on the views on the Masjid Raya Sultan Riau. This is because of an assessment of the object faced by which each person has differences in judgment. This study aims to determine the attitude of visitors to the attraction of Masjid Raya Sultan Riau through cognitive, affective, and conative aspects. This research is a research with descriptive quantitative method with a sample of 100 visitors who come to Masjid Raya Sultan Riau and determined by using accidental sampling technique. The data collected by observation, questionnaire, and documentation. The data measurement technique uses the Likert scale and the analyzed by incorporating it into the attitude attribute categories. The results showed that the attitude of the visitors who came to Masjid Raya Sultan Riau included in the category of positive attitude. Keywords : attitude, Masjid Raya Sultan Riau, tourist

Abstract

The purpose of this research are to find out the reasons of Hotel Managers from using the OTA (Online Travel Agent) and to find out the perceptions from Hotel Managers of Pekanbaru toward the functions of OTA (Online Travel Agent) as a marketing device. There are five functions of digital marketing as follows, Attract, Engage, Retain, Learn and Relate. The data was collected from the result of spreading the questioners to the respondents as much as 34 persons that are marketing employees and Front Office of Pesonna Hotel, Batiqa and Ameera Pekanbaru. The Hotels are using OTA (Online Travel Agent) because of the development and the using of Online media are very wide. From the research that have been done, the average of respondents perceptions are agree with statements being given. The statement that got the biggest percentation of agreement is OTA (Online Travel Agent) is giving the information of the product and recent services to the consumers as big as 79 % while the statement that got the smaller percentation of agreement is the statement about OTA program (Online Travel Agent) is giving incentive to the consumers that doing repeat order as big as 44 %. Abstract

Penyengat Island or known as “Pulau Penyengat Indera Sakti” is belongto world heritage conservation area which has the eminence in historical site.Furthermore, the local community who has a great potential in managing anddeveloping tourism itself. Therefore, base on RIPPDA (Rencana IndukPengembangan Daerah) of Kepri, the government of Tanjungpinang city hasassigned Penyengat Island as a main tourismspot (ODTW) in Tanjungpinangcity.Base on this case, researcher could make a research question such as inBahasa “Bagaimana Pola Pengembangan Objek Wisata Pulau Penyengat? andBagaimana Keterlibatan Masyarakat dalam Pengelolaan Objek Wisata PulauPenyengat Kota Tanjungpinang?To answer those question, researcher should follow a qualitative stepwhich consist of analyze toward developing design in RIPPDA and analyzetoward local community involvement by using community involvement scalemethod and researcher also will compare both of them.Finally, base on research result, it shows that local communityparticipation is still low. Skills, profession, open-minded and duration on stayingeffect local community involvement in managing itself.
