Abstract

Rice (Oryza sativa) plays a crucial role as a major staple food commodity. However, diseases such as Bacterial Blight, Brown Spot, and Leaf Blast can cause significant crop losses. Current manual identification methods have limitations due to high subjectivity and long diagnosis time. This study proposes a web-based automatic detection system using a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN). The dataset was obtained from Kaggle and consisted of 2,800 images evenly distributed across four classes (700 images per class). The data were split using an 80:20 ratio for training and validation sets, followed by preprocessing steps including resizing to 224×224 pixels and data augmentation. The CNN architecture was designed with four convolutional blocks and optimized using the Adam optimizer. Training for 50 epochs achieved an accuracy of 77.50%, precision of 82.98%, recall of 77.50%, and an F1-score of 72.84%. Based on the confusion matrix analysis, the model performed very well in detecting Bacterial Blight and Brown Spot but still faced difficulties in identifying the Leaf Blast class. Overall, the developed system has the potential to serve as a decision-support tool for farmers, although further performance improvements are required, particularly for detecting specific disease variants.

Abstract

Background: The Education Office often manages school profiling with minimal and fragmented data, such as school name, district, level, total students, and total teachers. This situation makes planning reactive and error-prone, highlighting the need for a lightweight yet reliable workflow to transform aggregated data into actionable evidence. Method: This study developed a web-based profiling tool that integrates a user interface designed using a User-Centered Design (UCD) approach with a transparent K-Means clustering algorithm. Development was carried out through iterative prototyping, with features standardized using z-scores and cluster validity assessed using the silhouette method along with other internal validity indices. Results: Data entry features with header previews and numeric checks effectively reduced rework. The silhouette value peaked at $k=2$, producing two interpretable segments (moderate vs. high staffing load), with an optional $k=3$ for exploratory purposes. Usability evaluation using the System Usability Scale (SUS) yielded a score of approximately 82, indicating good user acceptance, with system response times measured in seconds. Conclusion: The system provides a streamlined and sufficient workflow for routine planning and establishes a foundation for future longitudinal developments, such as tracking the number of study groups and accreditation per period.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi telah mendorong digitalisasi dalam industri penyewaan mobil, terutama untuk mengatasi permasalahan transparansi harga, konflik pemesanan, serta keterbatasan sistem manual dalam pengelolaan data. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan aplikasi penyewaan mobil berbasis website yang dilengkapi fitur perhitungan harga transparan, pemilihan mobil berdasarkan detail dan rating, integrasi pembayaran digital Midtrans, layanan pengantaran berbasis peta interaktif Leaflet JS, notifikasi real-time melalui Fonnte API, verifikasi OTP email, serta pemantauan lokasi kendaraan menggunakan GPS. Algoritma Priority Queue diterapkan sebagai mekanisme pemrosesan konflik pemesanan, di mana pesanan dengan nilai transaksi tertinggi diprioritaskan ketika terjadi permintaan simultan pada mobil yang sama. Metode pengembangan menggunakan model Waterfall, dan seluruh fitur diuji menggunakan Black Box Testing untuk memastikan kesesuaian fungsi dengan kebutuhan pengguna. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh komponen sistem berjalan dengan baik, termasuk pemrosesan prioritas, pembayaran online, navigasi antarmuka, dan pelacakan real-time. Sistem ini terbukti mampu meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan rental mobil, transparansi layanan, serta keamanan aset kendaraan melalui pemantauan berbasis GPS.

Abstract

The soil moisture monitoring system for cayenne pepper plants is an important part in ensuring optimal plant growth. The limited land that is often found makes the use of greenhouses one solution to deal with this problem. In this research, the system uses a soil moisture sensor which can measure soil moisture and a DHT11 sensor as an air temperature measurement with IoT-based monitoring. The integration of the NodeMCU ESP8266 with the Telegram platform is going well, marked by the success of the system in sending test result notifications automatically every time there is a change in soil moisture status and also local display via the 16×2 LCD making it easier for users if they want to check directly in the field. The test results show that the monitoring system built has met the basic needs for monitoring soil moisture in cayenne pepper plants in a small-scale greenhouse and can be an effective solution in supporting IoT-based agricultural activities. Abstract

Kelurahan Taas di Kota Manado rawan banjir. Sepanjang 2023-2025, tercatat 22 kejadian banjir yang berdampak langsung pada rumah warga. Sayangnya, tidak ada sistem yang memantau kondisi air sungai secara real-time. Hal ini membuat proses evakuasi lambat dan berisiko menyebabkan kerugian materi dan korban jiwa. Penelitian ini bertujuan membuat sistem peringatan dini banjir berbasis teknologi Internet ofThings (IoT). Sistem ini menggunakan metode inferensi Fuzzy Logic Sugeno Orde-0 yang diimplementasikan melalui metodologi Prototype dan dibuat dalam dua versi. Sistem ini menggunakan sensor ultrasonik HC-SR04 untuk mengukur ketinggian air dan sensor water flow YF-S201 untuk menghitung debit air. Data dari sensor diproses oleh mikrokontroler untuk menentukan status kedaruratan, yaitu Aman, Siaga, atau Bahaya. Data ini kemudian dikirim ke platform cloud ThingSpeak dan bot notifikasi Telegram. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa versi kedua sistem memiliki arsitektur yang lebih baik. Versi kedua menggunakan ESP8266 sebagai mikrokontroler tunggal. Hal ini membuat sistem lebih efisien dengan mengurangi koneksi sebesar 36%. Sistem ini juga menghemat konsumsi daya sebesar 32%, dari sekitar 850 mA menjadi sekitar 580 mA. Kecepatan respons pemrosesan data juga meningkat hingga 3 kali lebih cepat dibandingkan versi pertama.

Abstract

Indonesia is highly vulnerable to multi-hazard natural disasters, and Kota Bitung specifically faces high risks due to its geographical contours. Currently, the dissemination of disaster information by the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) relies heavily on conventional static maps. Most existing disaster WebGIS platforms focus merely on static visualization and lack an integrated system capable of instantly analyzing a user's coordinate status against multi-hazard spatial polygons while simultaneously providing location-based evacuation routing. To address this gap, this research aims to design and develop a responsive WebGIS that allows users to independently detect their risk status and logically find the nearest evacuation route. The system development utilizes the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method. The core engine integrates the Ray Casting algorithm to solve the Point-in-Polygon problem against disaster zone boundaries, and the Haversine Formula to calculate the nearest available evacuation point. Based on comprehensive evaluations, including accuracy testing, spatial distance validation, and 11 distinct black-box testing scenarios, the system successfully processed GPS-based coordinate inputs, handled polygon boundary edge-cases, and generated evacuation routes using the OpenSource Routing Machine (OSRM). Ultimately, the proposed system provides a functional prototype for location-based disaster risk analysis and evacuation point recommendation, serving as a foundational interactive instrument to support emergency preparedness in Kota Bitung.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan sistem pengamanan dokumen soal ujian berbasis web menggunakan algoritma Advanced Encryption Standard (AES)-128 di SMA Negeri 1 Kabawo. Permasalahan utama yang ditemukan adalah pengelolaan dokumen soal ujian masih dilakukan secara manual menggunakan media penyimpanan lokal dan aplikasi pesan instan tanpa perlindungan keamanan yang memadai. Kondisi tersebut menyebabkan tingginya risiko kebocoran, kehilangan, dan penyalahgunaan dokumen oleh pihak yang tidak berwenang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengembangan sistem Waterfall yang meliputi analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, implementasi, pengujian, dan pemeliharaan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, studi dokumentasi, dan studi literatur. Sistem dikembangkan menggunakan framework CodeIgniter dengan basis data MySQL serta menerapkan algoritma AES-128 untuk proses enkripsi dan dekripsi dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu mengenkripsi dokumen menjadi ciphertext sehingga tidak dapat dibaca tanpa kunci dekripsi yang sesuai. Proses dekripsi juga berhasil mengembalikan dokumen ke bentuk asli tanpa kehilangan data. Pengujian menggunakan metode Blackbox Testing, Unit Testing, Integration Testing, dan User Acceptance Testing menunjukkan seluruh fitur sistem berjalan dengan baik, stabil, aman, serta mudah digunakan oleh pengguna sekolah. Sistem ini juga mampu membantu pihak sekolah dalam mengelola dokumen secara lebih terstruktur, efisien, dan terkontrol sehingga dapat meminimalkan potensi kebocoran soal ujian. Dengan demikian, implementasi AES-128 terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan keamanan dan kerahasiaan dokumen soal ujian di SMA Negeri 1 Kabawo.
