Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of online learning on learning outcomes of objects around us in fifth-grade elementary school students. The subjects of this study were the fifth-grade students of MIS Al-Khairiyah, totaling 36 people, consisting of 19 males and 17 females. This study uses descriptive quantitative research with data testing using SPSS 25. Data were obtained through questionnaires, data from schools, and interviews. The data analysis consists of validity, normality, and hypothesis testing. The Kolmogorov Smirnov normality test results are known to have Sig = 0.200 0.05, so it can be concluded that the residual value is normally distributed. The hypothesis test results show that the value of fcount and ftable = 69.234 4.121. From the test results, it can be concluded that online learning significantly affects student learning outcomes. The coefficient of determination is 0.671, which means that online learning can explain student learning outcomes by 67.1%. This research contributes to developing the e-learning process in education for the better.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of student motivation by using the SAVI learning model in the Thematic subjects Theme VI Sub-theme of the life cycle of living things class IV SDIT Bina Insan Batang Kuis. This type of research is descriptive research. The population in this study was grade IV students of SDIT Binan Insan Batang Kuis which amounted to 110 students. The sample in this study was all grade IV students of SDIT Binan Insan Batang Kuis totaling 110 students. Data collection using questionnaires, observations, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques use descriptive analysis techniques. From the results of the study, the percentage of motivation with internal encouragement was 78.29% with the high category, and the percentage of motivation with external encouragement was 73.49% with the medium category, while the overall learning motivation of grade IV students of SDIT Binan Insan Batang Kuis for the 2023/2024 Academic Year was a medium category of 75.89%.

Abstract

This study employed a True-Experimental Design involving all fourth-grade students at SDN 101729 Kampung Lalang, with a total of 56 participants, divided into an experimental group and a control group, each consisting of 29 students. The data collection method used was a performance test, which was validated through a rater reliability test and content validation. The hypothesis was tested using the independent sample t-test. The research findings indicate that the pretest data from both the experimental and control groups were normally distributed and homogeneous. The t-value for the pretest was smaller than the t-table (0.036 < 0.05), indicating that there was no significant difference between the two groups before the intervention. However, the posttest results showed that the t-calculated value (0.729 > 0.05) was higher than the t-table, indicating a significant effect of the Cooperative Script Model on students' learning interest. The findings suggest that the Cooperative Script Model is more effective in enhancing learning interest compared to conventional methods. This model is recommended for further implementation in other subjects to increase student engagement.

Abstract

This study employs an experimental research design to determine the effect of using the Game-Based Learning model on students' learning outcomes in spatial building materials. The research uses a True-Experimental Design with a Posttest Only Control Group Design approach. The population includes all fifth-grade students from SDN 060799 Medan Labuhan, consisting of two classes, Class V A and Class V B. Sampling was conducted using a simple random sampling technique. The results show that the average posttest score in the experimental group, which used the Game-Based Learning model, was 76, while the control group scored 70.95. Hypothesis testing using an independent sample t-test yielded a t-value of 2.072, which is greater than the critical value of t-table (1.684), with a significance level of 0.044 (p < 0.05). These findings indicate that the Game-Based Learning model has a significantly greater impact on student learning outcomes compared to conventional methods.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the impact of audio-visual media on student learning outcomes in the subject of animal growth for third-grade students at SD Muhammadiyah 37 Tanjung Selamat. The study employed an experimental method with a "One Group Pretest Posttest Design." The sample consisted of 20 students from the same grade and school. Data collection was conducted through observation and a story-writing test, and the data were analyzed using inferential statistical techniques. The results of the study revealed a significant improvement in student learning outcomes after the use of audio-visual media. Statistical analysis using the t-test showed that the obtained t-value was 4.99 with a degree of freedom (df) of 19 at a significance level of 0.05, with a critical t-value of 1.72. Since t-count > t-table, the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted. This confirms that the use of audio-visual media significantly improves student learning outcomes in the subject of animal growth for third-grade students at SD Muhammadiyah 37 Tanjung Selamat.

Abstract

Masalah serius penyalahgunaan Narkotika, Psikotropika, dan Zat Adiktif  di kalangan pelajar telah menimbulkan dampak negatif yang signifikan pada aspek kesehatan fisik, mental, dan pencapaian akademik, memperjelas pentingnya pencegahan yang berbasis pada bukti nyata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membantu sekolah dan pemerintah dalam mengurangi insiden penyalahgunaan NAPZA pada remaja di lingkungan sekolah melalui program pencegahan yang didasarkan pada bukti empiris. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan survei komprehensif yang diterapkan pada siswa, dengan fokus pada pengumpulan data mengenai faktor risiko, faktor pelindung dan perilaku negatif remaja. Pemilihan sekolah dilakukan dengan melihat data kawasan rawan narkoba yang di peroleh dari BNNP Sumatera Utara dan melakukan survey langsung ke sekolah yang berada di kawasan rawan narkoba untuk untuk memperoleh data berkaitan dengan kondisi lingkungan sekitar sekolah, tingkat kepedulian kepala sekolah terhadap program pencegahan penyalahgunaan narkoba dan bentuk pelaksanaan programnya, baik dalam dokumen peraturan tertulis maupun pelaksanaan kegiatan program pencegahan yang ada di sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksaan kegiatan intervensi keluarga dan anak mampu membentuk meningkatkan faktor pelindung dan menurunkan perilaku negatif remaja. Keterlibatan aktif keluarga dalam program pencegahan dapat meningkatkan faktor pelindung sehingga menurunkan resiko perilaku negatif pada remaja, serta perubahan positif dalam komunikasi antara anak dan orang tua dapat merubah sikap remaja menjadi lebih baik.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara minat membaca dengan hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) pada siswa kelas V SDS GKPS Bangun Tobing. Variabel bebas (X) dalam penelitian ini adalah minat membaca, sedangkan variabel terikat (Y) adalah hasil belajar IPS. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan metode survei dengan teknik korelasi. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2022 – 2024, dengan subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V SDS GKPS Bangun Tobing dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 46 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan penyebaran angket, serta pengambilan dokumentasi. Data yang dikumpulkan kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis persyaratan data. Berdasarkan penelitian, didapatkan hasil bahwa sebanyak 54,3% responden memiliki minat membaca cukup, 39,1% memiliki minat membaca baik, dan minat membaca kurang sebanyak 6.6%. Sebagian besar responden memiliki hasil belajar yang cukup sebanyak 58.7% responden, 37% memiliki hasil belajar baik, dan yang memiliki hasil belajar kurang sebanyak 4.3%. Berdasarkan Uji Spearman didapatkan nilai signifikan sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara minat membaca dengan hasil belajar siswa di SDS GKPS Bangun Tobing.

Abstract

This type of research is classroom action research, which consists of 4 stages, namely planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that through the application of the directed reading thinking activity model and audio-visual media it can improve student learning outcomes, namely the increase in the average pre-cycle (67.5%) 7 students (43.75%) who completed, cycle I ( 72.5%) as many as 9 students (56.25%) who completed and in cycle II (81.87%) as many as 13 students (81.25%) who completed and at the end who completed in cycle III (88.43%) ) as many as 14 students (87.5%). This proves that the directed reading thinking activity model and audio-viual media can improve learning outcomes in Indonesian for Class IV Students at SDS GKPS Bangun Tobing, Stm Hilir District, Deli Serdang Regency.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) Untuk mengetahui peran orang tua dalam meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa di SD IT  Bina Insan Lubuk Pakam Deli Serdang Sumatera Utara (2) Untuk mengetahui prestasi belajar siswa di SD IT  Bina Insan Lubuk Pakam Deli Serdang Sumatera Utara Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan, yaitu dengan melakukan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yaitu: Reduksi Data (Data Reduction), Penyajian data (data display), Penarikan kesimpulan (Conclusion Drawing/ Verification). Adapun sumber data pada penelitian ini yaitu: guru, orang tua siswa dan siswa SD IT  Bina Insan Lubuk Pakam Deli Serdang Sumatera Utara. Hasil penelitian yang di peroleh terkait (1) Peran orang tua dalam meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa di SD IT  Bina Insan Lubuk Pakam Deli Serdang Sumatera Utara merupakan salah satu faktor pendukung untuk memenuhi kebutuhan anak dalam proses pembelajaran sehingga termotivasi untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajarnya, dengan banyak atau sedikitnya penghasilan orang tua memberikan semangat kepada siswa untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajarnya. (2) Prestasi belajar siswa di SD IT  Bina Insan Lubuk Pakam Deli Serdang Sumatera Utara setiap semesternya mengalami peningkatan

Abstract

This study aims to examine: 1) the Indonesian language learning outcomes of students using the conventional teaching model at UPT SPF SD NEGERI 106800; 2) the learning outcomes of students using the CIRC (Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition) learning model at the same school; and 3) the effect of the CIRC learning model on Indonesian language learning outcomes in class IV. The research employed a quantitative experimental approach with a quasi-experimental design (non-equivalent control group design) using pretest and posttest methods. Two classes were involved: an experimental class (class IV-A) with 15 students and a control class (class IV-B) with 15 students. The findings reveal a significant impact of the CIRC learning model on student learning outcomes. The average score of students in the experimental class using the CIRC model was 83.33, compared to 76.33 in the control class using conventional methods. The t-test results showed a significant difference with Sig. (2-tailed) < 0.05 (0.00 < 0.05), indicating the positive influence of the CIRC model on learning outcomes.
