Abstract

This research aims to describe the role of the badminton club in Indonesia, namely PB Djarum, in improving Indonesia's achievements in the national and international arena from 1969 to 2019. Badminton has a place in society just like the much-loved sport of football. The very high development of badminton is influenced by the mushrooming of clubs and the love of the Indonesian people for this sport. From this, the problem to be studied is how PB Djarum was formed and what factors strengthened PB Djarum for Indonesian sports achievements from 1969 to 2019. This research method will use historical methods, namely topic search, heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and then historiography. The results of this paper discover how PB Djarum was formed in 1969 and the role of PB Djarum in improving quality, namely by developing management of infrastructure, players and even coaches. Not only that, PB Djarum's achievements have also increased after experiencing a decline.

Abstract

As part of the implementation of the Minister of Education and Culture Regulation Number 23 of 2015 concerning Character Development, a program known as the school literacy movement (SLM) was designed. This research focuses on the application of the SLM to History subjects in senior high school. The primary purpose of this research is to comprehensively map, synthesize, and critically evaluate the existing body of scholarly literature on the implementation of the SLM within history learning in senior high schools. It aims to provide a state-of-the-art overview of what is known, what is effective, and what remains unknown or challenging. This research method uses a literature study method using the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis) model. This model comprises three stages such as article identification, filtering, and analysis. An analysis of the data used includes the findings, methodologies, and characteristics of the articles that passed the PRISMA model screening process. This analysis covers the nature, scope, and content of the studies that form the evidence base for the review. The results of the research show that the school literacy movement, based on analysis of the findings of the articles that have been collected, can have the potential to improve reading skills and understanding of history among students.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan pendampingan kepada guru sejarah di Blitar dalam rangka pengembangan bahan ajar sejarah tematik dengan materi sejarah lokal Blitar. Metode pengembangan yang dilakukan meliputi analisis kebutuhan, pelaksanaan workshop, dan pendampingan pengembangan bahan ajar. Mitra yang terlibat dalam kegiatan ini adalah guru-guru sejarah di Blitar yang tertarik dalam pengembangan bahan ajar sejarah tematik. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah kumpulan tulisan dari kelompok guru yang dikombinasikan dengan artikel pemateri workshop untuk dipublikasikan dalam bentuk e-book sebagai bahan ajar sejarah tematik di Blitar.

Abstract

ECHOING RURAL TOURISM THROUGH CULINARY YELLOW CHIPSPUMPKIN (YECHIPUM) TYPICAL OF PADUSAN VILLAGE, MOJOKERTO Pumpkin can be used as a basic ingredient for making typical village culinary in the form ofcookies. However, pumpkin has not been used optimally by rural communities as a traditionalregional culinary product, in this case, Padusan Village, Mojokerto Regency. This paper aims to:(1) provide education on the potential utilization of pumpkin as the main raw material for Padusanspecial culinary; (2) developing an innovative micro business at Padusan Village; (3) provideinformation on how unique and attractive branding is. By using the training method, this papertries to help and assist the residents of Padusan Village to take advantage of the opportunity tocreate a culinary industry made from pumpkin. In this study, pumpkin is processed into drycookies called Yechipum, an acronym for Yellow Chips Pumpkin. After conducting training andpractice with culinary practitioners, it can be concluded that Yechipum can be a typical souvenirof Padusan Village as a culinary support for rural tourism. In addition, the branding that has beenmade also has a novelty that can produce HKI for Padusan Village and also State University ofMalang. Labu kuning dapat digunakan sebagai bahan dasar pembuatan kuliner khas desa dalam bentukcookies. Meski demikian, labu kuning belum dimanfaatkan secara maksimal oleh masyarakatpedesaan sebagai produk kuliner tradisional khas daerah, dalam hal ini yaitu Desa PadusanKabupaten Mojokerto. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk: (1) memberikan edukasi pemanfaatan potensilabu kuning sebagai bahan baku utama kuliner khas Padusan; (2) mengembangkan bibit-bibitUMKM baru di Desa Padusan yang inovatif; (3) memberikan informasi bagaimana branding yangunik dan menarik. Dengan menggunakan metode pelatihan, tulisan ini berusaha membantu danmendampingi warga Desa Padusan memanfaatkan peluang untuk membuat industri kulinerberbahan dasar labu kuning. Dalam kajian ini, labu kuning diproses menjadi cookies kering yangdiberi nama Yechipum, akronim dari Yellow Chips Pumpkin. Setelah melakukan pelatihan danpraktik bersama praktisi kuliner, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Yechipum bisa menjadi oleh-oleh khasDesa Padusan sebagai kuliner penunjang wisata pedesaan. Selain itu, branding yang telah dibuatjuga mempunyai novelty yang dapat menghasilkan HKI untuk Desa Padusan dan UniversitasNegeri Malang.

Abstract

COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT THROUGH THE DEVELOPMENT OF BATIKMOTIFS AND TRAINING BASED ON THE DECORATIVE VARIETIES OFTHE SINGOSARI TEMPLE SITE Kelurahan Candirenggo memiliki potensi wisata yang luar biasa untuk bisa dikembangkansebagai sumber-sumber pemberdayaan masyarakat. Salah satu potensi tersebut adalahkeberadaan Candi Singosari. Namun sayangnya, keberadaan Candi Singosari belum bisadimanfaatkan secara optimal karena hanya mengandalkan kunjungan wisatawan ke candi dansitus sekitarnya. Padahal situs Candi Singosari memiliki kekayaan motif ragam hias padabeberapa bagian dinding candi maupun pada beberapa peninggalan artefaktual yang terletak dihalaman candi. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan pengembangan motif batik denganmengambil inspirasi dari ragam hias yang ada pada Candi Singosari dan beberapa arca disekitarnya. Untuk kemudian, motif tersebut ditawarkan kepada masyarakat KelurahanCandirenggo melalui kegiatan pelatihan membatik. Metode pengembangan motif batik ini melaluistudi identifikasi di situs Candi Singosari, lalu dilanjutkan dengan kegiatan focus group discussiondengan para arkeolog dan tokoh masyarakat setempat. Hasil dari pengembangan ini adalahbentuk motif batik yang diberi nama Singhāsana Padma. Pada tahap akhir dilaksanakanpemberdayaan masyarakat melalui kegiatan pelatihan membatik di Kelurahan Singosari yangdapat dimanfaatkan untuk merchandise ikonik untuk wisata Candi Singosari. Candirenggo village has extraordinary tourism potential to be developed as a source ofcommunity empowerment. One of these potentials is the existence of Singosari Temple.Unfortunately, the existence of Singosari Temple cannot be utilized optimally because it onlyrelies on tourist visits to the temple and surrounding sites. Even though the Singosari Temple sitehas so many ornamental motifs on some parts of the temple as well as on some artifactual relicslocated in the temple courtyard. This article aims to explain the development of batik motifs bytaking inspiration from the variety of decorations that exist in Singosari Temple and severalstatues around it. Then, the motif was offered to the people of Candirenggo village through batiktraining activities. The method of developing batik motifs was through identification studies at theSingosari Temple site. Then continued with focus group discussion activities with archeologistand local community leaders. The result of this development is a form of batik motif namedSinghāsana Padma. In the final stage, a community empowerment program is carried out throughbatik training activities in Singosari village which can be used for iconic merchandise for Singosari Temple tourism.

Abstract

Enrichment of history learning resources based on the ragawi cultural heritage site in Sidoarjo Regency Sidoarjo Regency possesses a wealth of tangible cultural heritage sites ranging from the Classical to the Colonial era, offering significant potential as history learning resources. However, this potential has not been optimally utilized in school learning due to the lack of valid teaching materials and limited accessibility of academic references for teachers. This community service activity aims to enhance teachers' competence in utilizing lokal sites as learning media through the development of research-based teaching materials. The implementation method employs a participatory approach with the Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP) of Senior High Schools (SMA/SMK/MA) in Sidoarjo Regency as the partner. The activity series includes Focus Group Discussions (FGD) for needs analysis, workshops on archaeological knowledge transfer, and intensive mentoring for book manuscript drafting. The results show an increased understanding among teachers regarding the historiography and archaeological data of Candi Pari, Candi Sumur, and colonial industrial buildings. The main output of this program is the compilation of a draft titled "Cultural Heritage Site-Based History Learning for High-School," specifically designed as enrichment material for students. This program concludes that collaboration between academics, the designation of cultural heritage buildings in Sidoarjo Regency" and educational practitioners is effective in bridging the gap between scientific archaeological data and the practical needs of history learning in schools. Kabupaten Sidoarjo memiliki kekayaan situs cagar budaya ragawi (tangible heritage) dari masa Klasik hingga Kolonial yang potensial sebagai sumber belajar sejarah. Namun, potensi ini belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal dalam pembelajaran di sekolah karena minimnya ketersediaan bahan ajar yang valid dan aksesibilitas referensi akademis bagi guru. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam memanfaatkan situs lokal sebagai media pembelajaran melalui penyusunan materi ajar berbasis riset. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatoris dengan mitra Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP) Sejarah SMA/MA Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Rangkaian kegiatan meliputi Focus Group Discussion (FGD) analisis kebutuhan, lokakarya transfer pengetahuan arkeologis, dan pendampingan intensif penyusunan naskah buku. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman guru terhadap historiografi dan data arkeologis situs Candi Pari, Candi Sumur, serta bangunan industry gula masa kolonial. Luaran utama dari program ini adalah tersusunnya draf buku "Pembelajaran Sejarah berbasis Situs Cagar budaya untuk Sekolah Menengah Atas" yang dirancang khusus sebagai materi pengayaan bagi siswa. Program ini menyimpulkan bahwa kolaborasi antara akademisi dan praktisi pendidikan efektif dalam menjembatani kesenjangan antara data ilmiah arkeologi, hasil penetapan bangunan cagar budaya Kabupaten Sidoarjo dengan kebutuhan praktis pembelajaran sejarah di sekolah.
