The total population in this study was 174 civil servants in Langgudu District, while the number of samples in this study were 100 people who were taken using the Slovin formula. The calculation process uses STATA version 17. The results of the study show that cultural variables partially have no effect on the interest of civil servants to transact at Bank NTB Syariah because they have a significance value of 0.584. However, if testing is carried out simultaneously the Cultural Variables, Religiosity, and Knowledge affect the interest of Civil Servants to carry out socio-economic transactions at Bank NTB Syariah with an r Square value of 0.23. Abstract

The Middle East has become the main stage of geopolitical competition between various countries and non-state actors. In this digital era, cyber warfare has become a major instrument in expanding influence and securing interests in the region. US intervention in Middle Eastern countries is quite large, including cyber attacks. Cyber warfare has become an inseparable part of regional conflicts in the Middle East. This occurs in conflict countries such as Syria, Yemen, and Libya. Each has different political, military, and economic interests, triggering a series of cyber attacks and counterattacks. This study aims to determine the influence of US cyber attacks on countries in the Middle East, especially countries in conflict, and to measure the impact of these attacks on the geopolitical conditions of the Middle East. This study uses a library research method, namely a literature study. This method is carried out by taking data from library sources such as theses, journals, or other scientific articles. The findings of this study explain that the United States has a high political tendency towards conflict countries in the Middle East and uses cyberspace as an influential medium to intervene in order to launch attacks and obtain intelligence data.

Abstract

This research discusses the relevance of the thought of Muhammad Abduh, a reformist Islamic intellectual, to the policies and work programs of the Indonesian government. Muhammad Abduh is known as a figure who championed the reinterpretation of Sharia principles to respond to the challenges of modernity, focusing on social justice, waqf reform, Islamic financial systems, and education. His thinking provides an important foundation for the development of a modern Islamic economy that is inclusive and equitable. In the context of Indonesian government policy, the 2024-2029 work program that carries the vision of Indonesia Emas 2045 integrates the values of Sharia economics and social justice in line with Muhammad Abduh's ideas. Programs such as strengthening the Sharia economy, optimizing ZISWAF (zakat, infaq, sadaqah and waqf) funds, and alleviating extreme poverty reflect the practical implementation of Muhammad Abduh's ideas. The government also emphasizes economic transformation, halal industry development, increasing Sharia financial inclusion, and Islamic values-based education to strengthen global competitiveness. This study uses a descriptive-analytical method to evaluate the relationship between Muhammad Abduh's thought and public policy in Indonesia. The analysis shows that Muhammad Abduh's ideas are not only relevant in addressing national development challenges, but also provide concrete solutions in creating social justice, community empowerment, and strengthening the Sharia economic system. This research also offers practical recommendations on how Muhammad Abduh's Islamic economic principles can be applied more broadly to support sustainable and inclusive development in Indonesia.

Abstract

Despite its substantial zakat potential, economic inequality remains a significant challenge in Indonesia. This study examines the impact of productive zakat on the economic empowerment of mustahiq (zakat recipients) at the Modern Islamic Boarding School Darul Ilmi Indonesia. The research employs a mixed-method approach, combining quantitative income analysis before and after receiving zakat with qualitative insights from beneficiary interviews. The Wilcoxon signed-rank test results indicate a significant increase in mustahiq income post-zakat. This highlights the effectiveness of productive zakat in enhancing economic self-sufficiency. The study's novelty lies in its comprehensive evaluation of zakat's role in socio-economic upliftment within an Islamic educational context. These findings underscore the potential for replicating such models in similar institutions to mitigate economic disparities.

Abstract

The advancement of technology and the development of time, in fact, don’t make sufism become deserted enthusiasts. Sufism is often considered an alternative way of embroidery in the modern era. This is inseparable from the fact that Islamic puritanism echoed by Salafi-Wahabi groups is considered to give birth to new humanitarian problems. Although it was also once considered a barrier in the progress of Islam by Modernists, it is undeniable that the need for sufism in society seems to never die. While in the Arab region the existence of sufism is threatened because it is considered contrary to the idea of Islamic puritanism and is considered a barrier in the progress of Islam, sufism in Turkey actually gets direct opposition from ultra-secular rulers. This makes sufi leaders in Turkey must transform the teachings of sufism. Through this article, the author seeks to display the patterns and approaches of a new sufism in Turkey, which came to be known as modern sufism. The authors base this study from the analysis of Said Nursi and Fethullah Gulen’s thoughts on sufism. The authors conclude that the pattern and approach of modern sufism in Turkey is carried out without tariqah. Nevertheless, the order transformed into an Islamic movement by adopting a state-legalized organization. It is also a form of adaptation carried out by sufi figures in Turkey as a measure of anticipation of the repressive actions of ultra-secular rulers against the followers of the order.

Abstract

In the digital era, the preservation and dissemination of Islamic traditions face both disruption and opportunity due to the rapid proliferation of emerging technologies. This study aims to systematically identify how technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR), blockchain, and social media have been applied to support Islamic education, cultural heritage preservation, and religious communication. Using the PRISMA 2020 framework, a systematic literature review was conducted on 26 peer-reviewed studies published between 2020 and 2025 across Scopus, Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, and Taylor & Francis databases. The findings reveal diverse technological applications, from AI-based Qur'anic interpretation tools and VR-based ritual simulations to blockchain-driven manuscript authentication. These technologies contribute to educational innovation, cultural preservation, and digital da’wah while raising concerns over theological authenticity, spiritual commodification, and ethical alignment with Islamic values. The study concludes that emerging technologies offer meaningful pathways and cautionary implications for sustaining Islamic traditions in the digital age. Strategic engagement and ethical integration are crucial to ensuring that technological innovation reinforces rather than dilutes Islam's spiritual, cultural, and communal dimensions.

Abstract

Indonesia, as the country with the largest Muslim population in the world, has big aspirations to become a global halal industry hub. The halal industry encompasses various sectors – from food/beverages, Muslim fashion, halal tourism, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals to Islamic finance – all of which are run in accordance with sharia principles. A macroeconomic review of the development of the halal industry in Indonesia is important given its potential contribution to economic growth, job creation, and Indonesia's position in the global halal economy. This paper will examine five key aspects: the macroeconomic conditions of the halal industry in Indonesia and globally, government support, the role of young people, and a case study of the halal fashion industry, accompanied by a critical discussion of the pros and cons of halal industry development in Indonesia. This analysis draws on the findings of five key studies: AlBanna (2019), Hudaefi & Jaswir (2019), Rusydiana (2023), Julianti et al. (2024), and Rini et al. (2025), to provide an integrated and up-to-date academic perspective.

The results of this research show that post-peace, facilitated by Saudi Arabia, Iran and China, is a new door in turning the page towards a conducive Middle East region, especially the country of Yemen itself. This reconciliation or peace occurred after experiencing a long civil war between the Sunni-dominated government group supported by Saudi Arabia and the Shia Houthi group supported by Iran, where this horizontal conflict was approximately eight years and had claimed lives and property that were not A little. An important part of the peace results that were realized and held in Iran on March 10 2023 recently was the way to end the complex problems that shackle Yemen, thereby having an overall impact on the Middle East region because this issue involves the interests of many countries.
