Abstract

The variational homotopy perturbation method is developed by combining variational iteration method and homotopy perturbation method. Variational iteration method has an efficient process in solving a wide variety of equations and systems of equations. Meanwhile, homotopy perturbation method yields a very rapid convergence of the solution series in most cases. The developed method, variational homotopy perturbation method, took full advantage of both methods. In this study, we described an application of the variational homotopy perturbation method to solve systems of homogeneous partial differential equations. Here we consider some initial value problems of homogeneous partial differential equation systems with two and three variables. The results show that the obtained solution using this method was in agreement with the solution using the homotopy analysis method and variational iteration method, which prove the validity of the variational homotopy perturbation method when applied to systems of partial differential equations.

Abstract

In graph theory, the locating-chromatic number is a parameter that characterizes the minimum number of colors required to assign to the vertices of a graph such that each vertex can be uniquely identified by its color and the colors of its neighbors. The locating-chromatic number of a graph refers to a concept in graph coloring, which involves assigning colors to the vertices of a graph in such a way that adjacent vertices do not share the same color. It represents the minimum number of colors needed for a proper vertex coloring. This study investigates the locating-chromatic number of certain barbell operation on pizza graphs and its subdivisions

Abstract

Backgrounds. As educational institutions with Islamic characteristics, madrasahs play unique roles and bear special responsibilities in this national project. Madrasahs function not only as institutions for knowledge transfer, but also as centers for character formation and religious understanding of Indonesia's young Muslim generation. Aims. This research conducts an in-depth analysis of the religious moderation culture development model at MTsN 3 Surabaya City, positioned as a pioneer in responding to the national agenda for strengthening religious moderation. Facing challenges of intolerance and radicalism, this madrasah has designed a holistic and systematic program architecture. Methods. Using qualitative analysis methods on institutional publication data and news reports, this study identifies three main strategic pillars: (1) student empowerment as agents of change through the flagship program "Young Ambassadors of Religious Moderation"; (2) institutional ecosystem strengthening through in-depth teacher training and internal knowledge production in the form of dozens of moderation books; and (3) holistic integration of moderation values into curriculum, school culture, and strategic partnerships. Result. The main findings indicate that this strategy not only successfully forms tolerant, prosocial, and nationally minded student characters, but also fundamentally transforms the school climate into a safer, more harmonious, and collaborative environment. Conclusion. The central thesis of this report is that the comprehensive implementation of religious moderation at MTsN 3 Surabaya City functions as an instrumental mechanism to realize an inclusive education model based on the Child-Friendly School (CFS) framework. Implementation. This model proves effective in translating macro policies into impactful micro practices, offering valuable insights for other educational institutions.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi capaian hasil belajar materi bola kasti pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 057230 Babalan pada masa pandemi covid-19. Pelaksanaan pengabdian dilakukan melalui pembelajaran home visit materi bola kasti dengan hasil pengukuran kegiatan belajar siswa pada masa pademi Covid-19. Materi yang disampaikan guru dilakukan melalui belajar kunjungan ke rumah siswa yang sudah dibagi menjadi 4 kelompok. Materi bola kasti diberikan pada siswa SD kelas IV harus dapat dicapai hasil belajarnya pada situasi pandemi covid-19. Pengabdian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan yang dilaksanakan dengan kemampuan analisis peneliti dalam menghubungkan antar variabel penelitian. Pengabdian ini berfokus perolehan kegiatan yang mencerminkan capaian hasil belajar materi bola kasti melalui pembelajaran home visit. Data yang diperoleh berupa hasil pantauan dan kajian kegiatan pembelajaran pada masa pandemi covid-19 siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 057230 Babalan. Hasil analisis data diperoleh pada materi bola kasti yaitu siswa memiliki hasil belajar aspek psikomotorik unjuk kerja dengan jumlah 24 orang siswa (100%) mencapai status hasil belajar “tuntas”, dan 0 orang siswa (0%) memiliki hasil belajar “tidak tuntas”. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran home visit untuk siswa kelas IV materi bola kasti menunjukkan bahwa siswa dapat mengikuti pembelajaran dengan baik sehingga mampu mencapai kelulusan klasikal diatas 75%. Simpulan dalam pengabdian ini adalah strategi capaian hasil belajar materi bola kasti pada siswa kelas IV situasi pandemi covid-19 adalah strategi home visit dengan metode belajar mandiri dan kelompok. Konsep belajar mandiri adalah siswa dipersiapkan untuk memiliki pengetahuan dasar tetang materi yang akan diajarkan yakni materi bola kasti. Kemudian kelompok adalah belajar sesama teman dalam kelompok sehingga terjadi diskusi dan saling mendukung terkait kemampuan pelaksanaan teknik yang harus dikuasai. Kemudian sebagai pendukung adalah belajar home visit dilakukan disekitar rumah siswa, hal ini memberikan peran pada efektivitas waktu siswa dalam mendalami materi beriringan dengan menunggu guru datang ke lokasi belajar, kemudian tempat belajar akan menjadi memori siswa pada aspek terbentuknya ingatan akan penguasaan teknik yang disampaikan saat pembelajaran berlangsung.

Abstract

2002. Bilangan kromatik lokasi suatu graf merupakan perpaduan dari pewarnaan titik dan dimensi partisi graf\cite{C}. Misalkan $c$ suatu pewarnaan titik pada graf $G$ dengan $c(u)\ne c(v)$ untuk $u$ dan $v$  bertetangga di $G$. Misalkan $C_i$ himpunan titik-titik yang diberi warna $i$ dan $\Pi = \{C_1, C_2,\dots, C_k\}$ merupakan himpunan partisi dari $V(G)$. Kode warna $c_\Pi (v)$ dari $v$ adalah $k$-pasangan terurut $(d(v,C_1),d(v,C_2),\dots,d(v,C_k)$ dengan $d(v,C_i)=min\{d(v,x)|x\in C_i\}$ untuk $1\le i\le k$. Jika setiap titik di $G$ mempunyai kode warna yang berbeda, maka $c$ disebut pewarnaan lokasi dari $G$. Nilai terkecil $k$ sedemikian sehingga $G$ mempunyai pewarnaan lokasi disebut bilangan kromatik lokasi graf $G$. Amalgamasi dari $n\ge3$ buah graf lintasan $(P_m,m\ge3)$ dinotasikan dengan $_nP_m$  diperoleh dengan cara menyatukan satu titik dari setiap graf lintasan $P_m$. Graf barbel dari amalgamasi  lintasan diperoleh dengan menghubungkan dua jiplakan dari graf amalgamasi lintasan $_nP_m$, yang dihubungkan oleh sebuah sisi dinotasikan dengan $B(_nP_m )$. Batas atas bilangan kromatik lokasi graf amalgamasi lintasan untuk $m,n\ge3$ adalah $\lceil \sqrt{n} \ \rceil +1$ dan $\lceil \sqrt{n} \ \rceil +2$ untuk graf barbelnya.

Abstract

Berdasarkan data UPT. Puskesmas Dondo, Desa Tinabogan Kecamatan Dondo kabupaten Tolitoli, Jumlah pasien di ruangan UGD Puskesmas sekitar 1825 pasien sepanjang tahun 2023 dan 40% Berada Dalam Kategori Kegawat daruratan Triase Kuning. Dimana, anggota keluarga mengalami kecemasan akibat anggota keluarga yang dibawa ke IGD.  Desain penelitian ini kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi penelitian ini keluarga pasien yang berkunjung ke IGD dalam 3 bulan terakhir sebanayak 132 responden,   sampel sebanyak 57 responden, menggunakan Purposive Sampling. Hasil uji chi-square didapatkan nilai p = 0.001 kecil sama dengan nilai a = 0.05 yang berarti terdapat hubungan peran perawat edukator dengan kecemasan keluarga pasien triase kuning di ruangan unit gawat darurat UPT. Puskesmas Dondo.  Terdapat hubungan peran perawat edukator terhadap  kecemasan keluarga pasien  triase kuning di ruangan UGD UPT Puskesmas Dondo. Bagi UPT Puskesmas Dondo agar memberikan kesempatan pelatihan komunikasi efektif kepada perawat agar kualitas pelayanan di IGD semakin meningkat

Abstract

Diabetes triggers 6.7 million deaths or 1 case every 5 seconds in sufferers. Indonesia is in fifth position for diabetes sufferers, namely 19.47 million. The study aims to determine the relationship between family support and dietary compliance of type 2 diabetes mellitus patients in the Kuraitaji Health Center Work Area, Pariaman City. This type of research is descriptive analytical with a cross-sectional approach design. The population in this study were 366 Type II DM sufferers. Sampling used a random sampling technique with a total of 65 people. Data collection was carried out by documentation study and computerized data processing, using univariate and bivariate analysis. The results of the univariate analysis showed that 47 respondents (60.3%) had insufficient family support, 8 respondents (10.3%) had sufficient family support, and 23 respondents (29.5%) had good family support. Type 2 DM sufferers who had non-compliance were 47 respondents (60.3%), and compliance was 31 respondents (39.7%). The results of the bivariate analysis showed a significant relationship between family support and dietary compliance in type II diabetes mellitus patients (p-value = 0.000 ≤ 0.05). In conclusion, family support is related to the level of compliance of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus at the Kurai Taji Health Center, Pariaman City in 2022.

Abstract

The elderly are a group of people who enter the final phase of life characterised by a decrease in physical, cognitive and social abilities, which can affect their independence and quality of life. This study aims to determine the relationship between the level of independence with the quality of life of the elderly at Sabai Nan Aluih Tresna Werdha Social Home in Sicincin. The method used is quantitative research with descriptive correlation design and crosssectional approach. The sampling technique used quota sampling, obtained 53 samples. Data were collected through a questionnaire that measured the level of independence of the Barthel index and WHOQOL-Bref quality of life. The results showed that 50.9% of the elderly were in the mild dependence category, and 77.4% had poor quality of life. The data were analysed using bivariate analysis with fisher's exact test. The results of the bivariate analysis showed that there was no relationship between the level of independence and the quality of life of the elderly at the sabai nan aluih tresna werdha social home in Sicincin in 2024. with a p-value of 0.217> 0.10. It is hoped that the orphanage will further assist the elderly according to the level of independence in meeting their needs so that the quality of life of the elderly can be maintained properly and further increase the active involvement of the elderly in various activities held by the orphanage so that they still have a more meaningful and meaningful meaning of life.

Abstract

Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) Swasta Nurul Huda Pringsewu memiliki empat jurusan, yaitu Asisten Perawat, Farmasi, Multimedia, dan Teknik Kendaraan Ringan. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh, rata-rata hanya sekitar 34% lulusan SMKS Nurul Huda Pringsewu yang melanjutkan pendidikannya ke perguruan tinggi. Perlu adanya pembinaan terintegrasi untuk meningkatkan keinginan para siswa melanjutkan pendidikannya. Pelaksanaan pengabdian ini menitik beratkan pada pembinaan komprehensif guru dan siswa. Pembinaan guru meliputi pelatihan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menyelesaikan permasalahan matematika, sains, dan komputasi. Pembinaan siswa meliputi motivasi cara belajar yang efektif untuk mendukung pembelajaran sepanjang hayat serta memberikan wawasan aplikasi matematika pada sains dan komputasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis statistik diperoleh bahwa nilai tes akhir berbeda sangat signifikan dengan nilai tes awal setelah dilakukan workshop.

Abstract

The low English proficiency level that faced by Indonesia is the problem highlighted in English First’s survey in 2023. This research is aimed at determining which factors influence students' motivation and learning attitudes toward English language learning, to generalize the motivation and attitude possessed by students in Palembang. This study used a cross-sectional survey design on non-English department students at four universities in Palembang, Indonesia. 427 participants were involved in this research from four sample universities in the population. The data was collected through quantitative method and using two distribution methods by online and offline. The data were presented in graphical form compared the mean value of motivational factors and attitudinal tendencies in English learning. The correlation test results between motivation and students' attitudes towards English learning showed a strong correlation. Several motivational interpretations lead to the conclusion that, according to this research, students had a higher predisposition to learn English integratively and had a positive attitude with a higher cognitive aspect tendency. The findings of this study are likely to assist numerous interested parties in improving and maintaining student learning achievement in English language learning
