Abstract

Participation in an organization as a college student is an important way to self-improvement. This research analyzes students' learning in an organization and whether the student is active or not active in an organization using the Decision Tree C4.5 algorithm. Attributes analyzed were out-of-campus organization, previous organization experience, public speaking, problem-solving, confidence level, and personality. From a question from propagating on October 2021, the researcher collect 203 raw data, with 167 processes ones that were used in this research. The test conducted results in a tree or the decision tree that could be used to decide how active a student is in an organization. The accuracy value of this test using cross-validation resulted in a score of 59.27% or in comparison to the data training: data testing of 4:1 or 80%: 20%.

Abstract

In the era of Industry 4.0, characterized by the abundance of data, there are many opportunities to carry out various data-related processes. One of these is the data forecasting process which has been widely used. By analyzing data, we can make predictions and make decisions automatically. For example, one of the problems that decision-makers, especially in Kabupaten Sumedang, must solve is the changes in the prices of basic commodities that are essential for society's consumption. The prices of these commodities in the market tend to fluctuate in the short or long term. By analyzing the available data, we can predict the direction of changes in the prices of basic commodities in the market. In this study, the ARIMA model is used, which is one of the time series models that can be used to predict the possibility of an increase or decrease in the prices of basic commodities in the market in Kabupaten Sumedang. The ARIMA model uses the previous day's price data as a benchmark to predict the prices of basic commodities in the future. After being analyzed, the results of the model will be in several ARIMA model forms. An efficient ARIMA model will be used to model the prices of basic food commodities. This research produced the three best ARIMA models, namely ARIMA(1-1-1) for broiler chicken meat, ARIMA(0-1-1) for shallots, and ARIMA(0-1-1) for garlic. The accuracy test results percentage error for the best model using MAPE show an average value below 10%. Keywords: Food staples, Forecasting, Time Series, ARIMA, MAPE

Abstract

One of the problems often faced by cattle farmers is related to diseases in their cattle where one of the cattle diseases whose transmission rate is very fast is Lumpy Skin Disease (LSD). Currently, to identify the health of livestock, especially in cattle, is still very dependent on experts and of course this takes time, resulting in delays in the prevention and treatment of diseases in cattle, especially this LSD disease. The Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) algorithm is one of the algorithms can used for image classification of cows whether the cow is healthy or Lumpy. The stages of this research start from problem identification, literature study, data collection, algorithm implementation, testing, and performance evaluation results of the algorithm on cattle disease data. In this research, testing was conducted using three architectures for CNN: VGG16, VGG19, and ResNet50. The results of the experiment showed that VGG16 was the most effective architecture compared to VGG19 and ResNet50, with a training accuracy of 95.31% and a loss value of 0.1292, as well as a testing accuracy of 96.88% and a loss value of 0.102.
