Abstract

This study examines the effect of recruitment strategy, employee morale, and compensation package on talent acquisition in technology companies in Indonesia through a quantitative analysis. Data were collected from 150 employees using a structured questionnaire, and analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Partial Least Squares (PLS). The results indicate significant positive relationships between recruitment strategy, employee morale, compensation package, and talent acquisition. Effective recruitment strategies, positive employee morale, and competitive compensation packages are crucial for attracting and retaining top talent in the technology sector. The findings provide practical implications for organizations to optimize talent acquisition practices and enhance organizational performance in the digital age.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dengan judul "Pemberdayaan BUMDES: Solusi Inovatif untuk Meningkatkan Ekonomi Desa" dilaksanakan di Desa Langagon dengan fokus pada pengembangan Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDES). Tujuan utama kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kapasitas pengelola BUMDES dan memaksimalkan potensi ekonomi lokal. Melalui serangkaian pelatihan dan workshop, masyarakat diberikan keterampilan dalam manajemen usaha, pemasaran produk, dan pengelolaan keuangan. Dampak dari kegiatan ini terlihat dalam beberapa aspek. Pertama, terdapat peningkatan signifikan dalam pendapatan BUMDES, yang berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan pendapatan desa secara keseluruhan. Kedua, kegiatan ini berhasil menciptakan lapangan kerja baru, sehingga mengurangi angka pengangguran di Desa Langagon. Ketiga, terjadi peningkatan kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya kolaborasi dalam pengembangan usaha lokal. Selain aspek ekonomi, kegiatan ini juga memperkuat solidaritas sosial di antara warga, yang semakin aktif berpartisipasi dalam pengelolaan BUMDES. Dengan demikian, model pemberdayaan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan bagi desa lain dalam menghadapi tantangan ekonomi, serta meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat Desa Langagon secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to increase consumer purchasing interest by providing marketing strategy assistance to Nao-Mi MSMEs in Gorontalo. The main problem faced by partners is the suboptimal implementation of marketing strategies that are adaptable to changes in consumer behavior and the development of marketing media. The service method uses a participatory approach that places MSME actors as active subjects in all stages of the activity, from problem identification, planning, implementation of marketing assistance, to evaluation. The mentoring focused on strengthening understanding of marketing concepts, marketing strategy planning, and improving consumer-oriented marketing communication skills. The results of the activity show an increase in the understanding and awareness of MSME actors regarding the importance of planned and sustainable marketing strategies in attracting consumer purchasing interest. Additionally, the participatory approach encourages business owners to be more reflective and responsive to market dynamics, enabling them to manage marketing more independently. This activity makes a practical contribution to the development of MSMEs and strengthens the role of community service in supporting the improvement of local business competitiveness.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki sejauh mana kesiapan wirausaha generasi Z dalam menghadapi perubahan bisnis digital di Kota Gorontalo. Generasi Z diidentifikasi sebagai digital native yang memiliki kemampuan besar dalam memanfaatkan teknologi untuk memulai dan mengembangkan bisnis. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, studi ini melibatkan tujuh narasumber dari Gen Z yang aktif dalam menjalankan bisnis digital seperti kuliner online, fashion, desain grafis, dan konten digital. Metode pengumpulan informasi dilakukan dengan cara wawancara mendalam, pengamatan, dan pengarsipan. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Gen Z sangat termotivasi untuk berbisnis, dipicu oleh keinginan untuk mandiri secara finansial dan mendapatkan fleksibilitas dalam bekerja. Mereka memperlihatkan kemampuan teknologi dalam pemanfaatan media sosial dan transaksi online, namun tetap menghadapi kendala di bidang manajerial, pemasaran berbasis data, serta konsistensi dalam pengelolaan usaha jangka panjang. Ada tiga dimensi utama yang diidentifikasi dalam kesiapan: kesiapan teknologi, kesiapan individu, dan kesiapan lingkungan. Dukungan dari komunitas sosial, lembaga pendidikan, dan pemerintah dianggap krusial untuk meningkatkan daya saing serta keberlangsungan usaha digital bagi generasi muda. Penelitian ini menekankan perlunya pelatihan, bimbingan, dan kolaborasi antar sektor guna meningkatkan kapasitas kewirausahaan Gen Z di era digital.

Abstract

The business environment has undergone significant changes due to global digitalization, and MSMEs in the city of Gorontalo are no exception. The difficulties faced by MSMEs in surviving and maintaining sustainability have become a significant issue requiring attention from various stakeholders. However, digitalization also provides opportunities for MSMEs to increase their market share and enhance their competitiveness. Therefore, the aim of this research is to understand how digitalization has transformed the conventional business models of MSMEs, identify strategies for adaptation, and comprehend the challenges that arise during this process. This study examines MSMEs in the city of Gorontalo using a case study methodology and a qualitative approach. Data analysis will be conducted using the Digital Transformation Framework to examine the factors that drive and hinder the digitalization of SMEs, the Dynamic Capabilities Framework to assess how easily SMEs adapt to digital changes, and the Business Model Innovation theoretical approach to understand the changes in business model elements of SMEs. The research results show that (1) Digitalization has brought significant changes to the business models of traditional MSMEs. The use of BMI suggests that digitalization impacts not only marketing and distribution aspects but also product innovation, operational efficiency, and customer relationships. (2) The main factors influencing the level of adaptation include the desire to expand markets, improve efficiency, and keep up with the times. (3) The main challenges faced by traditional MSMEs in the process of business transformation towards digital are production capacity, logistics costs, technology management, customer response, and promotion costs.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) determine the management strategy for tourist villages and (2) determine the factors influencing tourist attraction. Linawan Village has marine tourism potential in the form of beautiful beaches and mangrove areas, but management is not yet optimal. The research method used a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation of informants such as Pokdarwis, village government, MSMEs, the Tourism Office, community leaders, tourists, and youth organizations. The results of the study indicate that (1) management strategies include tourism promotion, partnerships with the private sector, human resource development, mapping tourism potential, and revitalizing the tourism village acceleration team. (2) Factors influencing tourist attraction include accessibility, infrastructure, promotion and information, and price. The main obstacles are limited supporting facilities, suboptimal coordination between stakeholders, and weak digital promotion. The study recommends an integrated and community-based management strategy, utilizing digital media, strengthening partnerships, increasing human resource capacity, and developing new tourist attractions. These results are expected to serve as a reference for the management of Linawan Tourism Village and a reference for the development of sustainable tourism villages in other areas.
