Abstract

Introduction: Gutta-Percha (GP) is a standard endodontic filling material found in pure form in the Cipetir area, Indonesia. However, a study comparing physical properties (brittleness and flowability) between pure GP and commercially used GP has not been found. Therefore, this study aims to test the brittleness and flowability of Cipetir GP compared to commercial GP. Methods: This study was quasi-experimental. Forty samples were prepared for each material and test, according to ANSI/ADA specification-GP cones-no 78 in 2006. The first step began by making a sample of Cipetir GP using moulds from a cuvette, commercial GP (Inline #80), and gypsum stone. The second step was to test the brittleness (Crease Recovery Tester) and flowability (according to ADA No. 78 of 2000) of Cipetir GP and commercial GP. Results: The brittleness test of Cipetir GP showed unbroken samples, and the commercial GP showed four broken samples. The Fisher's Exact test showed a p-value of 0.087, which means there was no significant difference in brittleness between Cipetir GP and commercial GP. At the same time, the average value of flowability of Cipetir GP and commercial GP were 6.46 mm and 0.19 mm, respectively. The unpaired t-test showed a p-value<0.05, which means there was a significant difference in the flowability between Cipetir GP and commercial GP. Conclusions: There is a brittleness similarity between Cipetir GP and commercial GP, while the flowability value of Cipetir GP is higher than commercial GP. Those initial findings showed that the Cipetir GP might become an excellent candidate to be an alternative endodontic filling.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of economic literacy variables and P5 Entrepreneurship activities on entrepreneurial interest in students at SMAN 21 Bekasi City. The population in this study were 280 students of class XI SMAN 21 Bekasi City. The sample consisted of 30 students of class XI taken by random sampling. The data collection technique used a Likert scale questionnaire. Data analysis techniques with Analysis techniques with multiple correlation tests, multiple regression tests, determinant coefficient tests, F tests, and t tests. The results of the study are 1. There is a significant influence together between the economic literacy variables and P5 Entrepreneurship on entrepreneurial interest in SMAN 21 Bekasi City because the significant value is 0.028 0.05. 2. There is no significant influence of the economic literacy variable on entrepreneurial interest in SMAN 21 Bekasi City because the significant value is 0.978 0.05. 3. There is a significant influence of the P5 Entrepreneurship variable on entrepreneurial interest in SMAN 21 Bekasi City because the significant value is 0.014 0.05.

Abstract

The limited systematic evaluation of the effectiveness of partnership-based projects in supporting creative economy policies poses a challenge in developing sustainable entrepreneurship models. This study aims to evaluate the impact and effectiveness of partnership-based Wedding Organizer start-up development projects in supporting national creative economy policies. The evaluation was conducted using Stake's Countenance Model, which includes three main components: antecedents, transactions, and outcomes. The research instrument was developed based on three layers of theory: Grand Theory, Middle Range Theory, and Applied Theory. It was then validated using Aiken's V approach and tested for reliability using Cronbach's Alpha. The study's results indicate that the program has a positive impact on increasing the entrepreneurial capacity of participants, enhancing the effectiveness of partnership-based training, and promoting business sustainability. The program also successfully established a broad business network, directly contributing to local economic growth. These findings provide new insights into the effectiveness of evaluating partnership models within the creative economy ecosystem. This evaluation model can be replicated and adapted for similar programs in other creative sectors to support community-based development policies.

Abstract

Background: Macro-sized and inhomogeneous distribution of ceramic filer particles make it difficult to obtain smooth surfaces of dental composite after polishing. Objective. This study aims to synthesize alumina silica (Al2O3-SiO2) fillers using sol gel method with the additives agent chitosan 5%, 10% and polyethylene glycol (PEG) 5% to produce micro particle size and evenly distributed particle as filler dental composite. Methods. The type of research is descriptive explorative. The sol-gel process was utilized to synthesize filler particles of Al2O3-SiO2. TEOS was dissolved in ethanol and mixed with acetic acid as catalyts. Al2(NO3)3 was added into the solution and mixed homogenously. Subsequently, the additive agents (Chitosan 5%, chitosan 10% and PEG) were mixed into the mixture for 30 minutes. Drying the samples for 48 hours at 60°C in the oven. The Dynamic light scattering (DLS) SZ-1 was used to evaluate the size, particle distribution and zeta potential. Result. The results showed that the addition of chitosan 10% produced a smaller size of Al2O3-SiO2 compared to other samples. A homogeneous particle distribution is shown in the sample with PEG 5%. Meanwhile, zeta potential values of the filler particles Al2O3-SiO2 with the addition of chitosan 10% shows the biggest value. Conclusion: The additive agent of chitosan 10% can modify the surface of filler Al2O3-SiO2 in order to inhibit particle growth more effectively but better particle distribution is shown in samples with PEG 5% due to the lower viscosity than chitosan thus it is easily homogenized in the solution

Abstract

Background: Kesenjangan akses pendidikan pada anak-anak yatim menjadi salah satu tantangan yang perlu mendapatkan solusi inovatif. Tujuan: Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan menghadirkan alternatif pendidikan melalui integrasi e-Learning berbasis aplikasi smartphone yang dapat mendukung pembelajaran di Yayasan Anak Yatim. Metode: Mitra dalam program ini yaitu Yayasan Pondok Yatim dan Dhu’afa Tanjung Barat. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi, pendampingan kepada pengurus yayasan, serta evaluasi tingkat kebermanfaatan sistem melalui System Usability Scale (SUS) dan angket kepuasan pelatihan. Hasil: Hasil ,25 yang termasuk kategori sangat baik. Serta tingkat kepuasan peserta pelatihan mencapai 96%. Yang mengindikasikan bahwa aplikasi mudah digunakan, relevan dengan kebutuhan pembelajaran, dan mampu meningkatkan motivasi serta keterlibatan peserta. Selain itu, para pengasuh juga merasakan kemudahan dalam mengelola materi serta memantau perkembangan belajar para anak-anak yatim tersebut. Kesimpulan: Dengan demikian, program ini berhasil mewujudkan transformasi pendidikan alternatif yang inklusif, adaptif, dan berkelanjutan, sekaligus memberikan model pemberdayaan digital yang dapat direplikasi di lembaga serupa.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has opened significant opportunities to enhance human resource capacity, including in social institutions such as orphanages and foundations for the underprivileged. However, limitations in digital literacy, digital skills, and digital entrepreneurship often become obstacles in optimizing the use of technology. This community service program aims to empower the administrators of Pondok Yatim and Dhu’afa Tanjung Barat through training in basic digital literacy, digital skills, and digital entrepreneurship. The method applied was participatory training, carried out in three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The results of the program lead to several conclusions: first, the implementation of digital empowerment through training in literacy, skills, and digital entrepreneurship was successfully conducted for the administrators of Pondok Yatim & Dhu’afa Tanjung Barat; second, based on program evaluation, the average N-Gain Score was 0.796 or 79.64%, categorized as high, indicating that participants’ competencies increased optimally after the training. Furthermore, a satisfaction survey of the participants showed an average score of 96%, reflecting that this digital empowerment program was highly satisfying and met their expectations. Thus, the training program not only contributes to individual capacity-building but also supports the sustainability of the institution in the era of digital transformation.
