Abstract

AbstractCurrently, Muslims have a lack of understanding of epistemology, which results in the weak mastery of Muslim thought towards science and technology. In medieval times, Islamic thinkers with integrated thoughts were born from the mastery of epistemology sourced from the Qur'an and Sunnah.This study aims to explain Tuan Guru Kiai Zainuddin Abdul Majid's thinking in science development, making him a pioneer in Islamic education and a national hero in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. These paper methods are a historical approach and literature with content analysis. This study's results show that Tuan Guru Zainuddin Abdul Majid integrated his thoughts. His ideas are written in Tuhfatul Anfenaniyah Syarah Nahdlatuzzainiyah and his verse ya man yarum. His paper that religion and science are like buildings standing firmly. If religion and science are kept separate, so Muslims will fall behind. So, Islam people must comprehend Shari'a, Nahu, Shoref (grammar), Fiqh (Islamic law), astronomy, language, math, geometry, algebra, chemistry, and geography integrated to advance in this time and the future. His ideas were based on the scientific and dialectical foundations of Bayani, Burhani, and Irfani's epistemology, which is the basis for developing Islamic education. His thought was successful in developing Islamic education institutions based on Islamic integration. AbstrakLemahnya penguasaan epistemology menyebabkan lemahnya pemikiran umat Islam dalam penguasaan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi dewasa ini. Penguasaan epistemology yang bersumber dari al-Qur’an dan Sunnah telah melahirkan pemikir Islam yang memiliki pemikiran integral pada abad pertengahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pemikiran Tuan Guru Kiai Zainuddin Abdul Majid dalam pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan, yang menjadikannya sebagai pelopor pendidikan Islam dan pahlawan nasional di Lombok, Nusa Tenggara Barat. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan historis dan literatur dengan analisis konten. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Tuan Guru Zainuddin Abdul Majid telah mengintegrasikan pemikirannya. Ide-idenya ditulis dalam Tuhfatul Anfenaniyah Syarah Nahdlatuzzainiyah dan syairnya ya man yarum. Dalam karya tulisnya diyatakan bahwa agama dan sains ibarat bangunan yang berdiri kokoh. Jika agama dan sains dipisahkan, maka umat Islam akan tertinggal. Baginya, umat Islam harus memahami Syariat, Nahu, Shoref (tata bahasa), Fiqh (hukum Islam), astronomi, bahasa, matematika, geometri, aljabar, kimia, dan geografi yang terintegrasi untuk mencapai kemajuan di masa ini dan masa depan. Ide-idenya didasarkan pada fondasi ilmiah dan dialektis epistemologi Bayani, Burhani, dan Irfani, yang dijadikan sebagai dasar dalam mengembangkan pendidikan Islam. Abstract

Education is a process or effort to transfer, preserve and transform cultural values and norms into all aspects and types to the next generation of religion and nation, so that the development of educational institutions becomes the answer to all the demands and needs of the community.The focus of research in writing this thesis is: (1) What is the form of development of traditional educational institutions in Al-Ishlahuddiny Islamic boarding school? (2) What is the form of development of modern educational institutions in al-Ishlahuddiny islamic boarding school? (3) What are the implications of the development of educational institutions on social relations?. The research method used is qualitative method. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Descriptive data analysis techniques by sorting out data, clarifying data, and interpreting data found in the field so that it is easier to draw a conclusion. The results and discussion of this research are (1) Development of traditional educational institutions from the diniyah level to the ma'had level with wetonan, sorogan, memorization and muzakkarah learning methods as well as the curriculum used sourced from classical / traditional books. (2) The development of modern educational institutions from the Ibtidaiyah madrasah level to the tertiary level with lectures, question and answer, and discussion methods as well as the curriculum used is in line with those issued by the Ministry of Education. (3). The implications of the development of such educational institutions are directed at the sections of proselytizing, education and government.

Abstract

Teachers are educators, mentors, coaches, and curriculum balancers who can create conditions and a conducive learning atmosphere, such as a fun, interesting learning atmosphere, giving students space to think actively and innovatively in exploring and elaborating their abilities. The teacher's role is very important in improving student learning achievement so they must be more creative in choosing teaching methods. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of teacher creativity on motivation to learn to read the Koran in students of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 1 Sumbawa. This type of research is ex post facto comparative causal research using a quantitative approach. The research instrument was a questionnaire based on the research procedures used in this study. Data analysis was carried out through research instrument tests which included validity and reliability followed by the classical assumption test. The method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study show that teacher creativity has a direct effect on learning motivation. Because it has a probability value (0.000) <0.05, which means there is a positive and significant influence between teacher creativity on learning motivation. This means that the higher the teacher's creativity in teaching, the higher the learning motivation of students in class X Madarasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 1 Sumbawa.

Abstract

[Bahasa]: Guru Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di Kecamatan Masbagik Lombok Timur belum memiliki pengetahuan dan pemahaman yang memadai tentang Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Salah satu upaya untuk membantu mereka adalah melalui pelatihan PTK. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman guru PAI di Kecamatan Masbagik dalam mendesain atau merancang PTK. Program pengabdian ini dilakukan di Ponpes Halimatussa’dian NW Lombok Timur. Partisipan dalam kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah 40 orang guru PAI di Kecamatan Masbagik Lombok Timur. Kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan dengan metode workshop dengan melakukan tatap muka langsung di kelas memberikan pelatihan mengenai metode penelitian PTK, penyusunan proposal dan laporan PTK yang terdiri dari tiga tahapan kegiatan, yakni perencanan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi kegiatan. Hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa para guru PAI memiliki pengetahuan dan pemahaman yang memadai terkait PTK, serta mampu melakukan perancangan PTK dengan baik. Proses bimbingan dan pendampingan telah membantu untuk menyempurnakan kemampuan mereka dalam merancang PTK dengan lebih baik. Kata Kunci: desain, kapasitas guru, Pendidikan Agama Islam, Penelitian Tindakan Kelas [English]: Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in Masbagik, East Lombok, lack adequate knowledge and understanding of Classroom Action Research (CAR). One effort to assist them is through a workshop on CAR. This community engagement activity aims to enhance the knowledge and understanding of PAI teachers in Masbagik in designing CAR. The research was conducted at Halimatussa'diah Islamic Boarding School in East Lombok, with 40 PAI teachers from Masbagik involved in the workshop. The community engagement was carried out through a workshop involving face-to-face interactions in the classroom, training on CAR methods, and CAR proposal design exercise, consisting of three stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation. This community service program results show that PAI teachers possess adequate knowledge and understanding of CAR and are proficient in designing CAR projects. The guidance and mentoring process significantly improved their CAR design skills. Keywords: design, teacher capacity, Islamic religion education, Classroom Action Research

Abstract

This research is about Jean Piaget's constructivism learning theory. The type of research used in this study is field research because researchers have to go directly into the field and be involved with local schools. This study describes the theory of constructivism in learning. Constructivist epistemology is a theory that describes the way a person obtains knowledge by constructing that knowledge within himself, without waiting or expecting the transfer of knowledge from others or educators (teachers). Researchers conclude that Piaget's perspective constructivism learning theory is a learning process that gives freedom to students in constructing the knowledge that exists within them. Each theory has advantages and disadvantages in its implementation, as well as advantages and disadvantages of constructivism theory in learning. The right solution to complement these shortcomings is for teachers to be able to make changes in the learning model and add insight and knowledge in order to implement constructivism theory in the learning process. In conclusion, the theory of constructivism at SDI Bilal bin Robbah has not been able to be applied in all classes because there are obstacles that there are students who cannot read, especially in grades 1 and 2. The solution to overcome these difficulties is that SDI Bilal bin Robbah teachers create a program called Diniyah Sore, where students practice reading. In contrast, in grades 3 and 4, it can be implemented properly because students can read and seek literacy on their own with teacher guidance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of changes in the sanad-based learning approach in modern Islamic boarding schools on students, teachers, and the schools themselves. Additionally, this research aims to investigate whether this approach provides a positive contribution to the understanding of religion, character development, and the relevance of Islamic boarding schools in contemporary society. The research method used is a literature review with a qualitative approach. Data were obtained from relevant literature sources, including scholarly journals, books, articles, and documents related to sanad-based modern Islamic boarding school education. Data analysis was conducted using a content analysis approach to identify common patterns in the accessed literature. The results of the literature review indicate that the sanad-based learning revolution has a positive impact on students' understanding of religion. Furthermore, this approach also has the potential to assist in shaping students' character by emphasizing ethical and moral values. Islamic boarding schools that implement this approach also tend to be more relevant in contemporary society, attracting student interest and gaining broader support from the community. In conclusion, based on the results of this literature review, it can be concluded that the revolution in sanad-based learning in modern Islamic boarding schools has a positive influence on enhancing religious understanding, character development, and the relevance of these schools in society. This approach has helped Islamic boarding schools remain relevant in the face of modern challenges. The contribution of this study is to provide a better understanding of the changes in the approach to learning in modern Islamic boarding schools and its positive contribution to Islamic education in Indonesia. This study can serve as a foundation for further development in the field of Islamic boarding school education and sanad-based learning.

Abstract

The plurality of a society is the result of multicultural inherent in their lives, at the level of education (school) plurality can be seen from the diversity of students and multicultural life in the school environment. Not only in the wider community, diversity among students also creates big problems such as the outbreak of intolerant attitudes towards fellow students. This is contrary to the multicultural values that should exist in each learner. With the embedding of these values, it will give reciprocity to the attitude of tolerance in students. This article examines multicultural values in PAI learning and the implications for students' tolerance attitudes at SMK Cendekia NW Aiklomak. This article uses the theory of multicultural values in Islamic education, the relationship between multicultural and Islamic education. This article concludes: multicultural values in Islamic education learning include: values of justice, equality, brotherhood, tolerance, ukhuwah, equality and unity. Multicultural values in PAI Learning shape students' tolerance attitudes and behaviors in the form of: respecting differences, willingness to listen to opinions, rejecting discrimination, building constructive dialogue and building cooperation.

Abstract

This research analyzes the strategies employed by school principals to enhance the pedagogical competence of Islamic Education and Character Education (PAI) teachers at SMA Darul Hikmah Pagutan Mataram, particularly in terms of teaching ability and curriculum development. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, the study collected data through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research findings indicate that school principals have implemented various coaching strategies, both individually and in groups, such as classroom visits, mentoring, and the Teacher Subject Council forum (Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran [MGMP]). However, time constraints and limited resources pose significant challenges to optimal coaching implementation. The study concludes that the role of the school principal as a supervisor is crucial in improving the quality of PAI instruction. Abstrak: Penelitian ini menganalisis strategi yang digunakan oleh kepala sekolah untuk meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti (PAI) di SMA Darul Hikmah Pagutan Mataram, khususnya dalam hal kemampuan mengajar dan pengembangan kurikulum. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, penelitian ini mengumpulkan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah telah menerapkan berbagai strategi pembinaan, baik secara individu maupun kelompok, seperti kunjungan kelas, pendampingan, dan forum Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP). Namun, keterbatasan waktu dan sumber daya yang terbatas menjadi tantangan yang cukup besar dalam pelaksanaan pembinaan yang optimal. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa peran kepala sekolah sebagai supervisor sangat penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran PAI.

Abstract

This article aims to discuss the importance of education in forming a superior generation based on the values ​​of the Koran and Hadith. Education has a vital role in developing knowledge and human potential. Through education, individuals can explore and optimize their abilities to face life's challenges and contribute positively to society. This research uses qualitative methods with a library research research approach, and examines various interpretations of the Al-Qur'an and Hadith as well as the opinions of Muslim scholars regarding the goals of education. The results of this research show that education must be based on faith and piety, developing humans to become obedient servants of Allah and responsible caliphs on earth. Education in Islam not only emphasizes cognitive development, but also strengthening character and commendable morals. Education based on the Al-Qur'an and Hadith has a role in forming a generation that is strong, has morals, and is able to carry out its role as a trustworthy and responsible leader. This research underlines that education must have clear and directed goals, and be supported by appropriate strategies to produce individuals who are academically and character competent. With a comprehensive approach, Islamic education can develop superior human beings and can have a positive impact on the people and the country.
