Abstract

This research examines the marketing strategy of Kopi Kenangan, a Grab-and-Go coffee brand founded in 2017. On its first day, it sold 700 cups of coffee, showing strong market interest. The company uses the 4P marketing mix (Product, Price, Place, Promotion) effectively, supported by product innovation and active social media promotion. Kopi Kenangan targets Millennials and Gen Z, who often visit coffee shops to relax and socialize. The brand offers a unique customer experience through tasty, affordable drinks, modern café designs, and free WiFi. This research uses a qualitative narrative method, based on secondary data from journals, articles, and market reports. The analysis includes content analysis and SWOT analysis. The results show that Kopi Kenangan has strong brand recognition and market opportunities, but also faces competition and potential risks. Its success lies in building a positive brand image, maintaining high product quality, and using smart marketing strategies. While image attracts interest, product quality is a key factor in actual purchasing decisions. To sustain growth, Kopi Kenangan must continue to innovate, maintain quality, and stay connected with the preferences of young consumers. This study gives valuable insights for businesses aiming to thrive in the competitive coffee market by appealing to the younger generation

Abstract

This study analyzes the impact of Elon Musk’s political involvement on Tesla Inc.’s financial stability and investor sentiment. Using a descriptive qualitative approach through document analysis, the research employs secondary data from financial reports, NASDAQ stock movements, and reputable media sources. Findings show that Musk’s political activity heightened stock volatility, contributed to a 9% revenue decline, and led to a 71% drop in net income in Q1 2025. Tesla’s strong association with Musk intensified market sensitivity, triggering retail panic selling and portfolio adjustments by institutional investors. Political uncertainties also weakened automotive margins and increased R&D pressures. The study recommends stronger corporate governance, greater transparency, CEO succession planning, and strategic diversification to mitigate risk. Overall, the results highlight the importance of leadership-crisis management and proactive communication in maintaining investor confidence.

Abstract

Xiaomi has emerged as a formidable competitor in the global electronics market, largely due to its strategic financial management and innovative marketing practices. This study examines how Xiaomi maintains financial stability amid intense industry competition. A qualitative research approach was employed, utilizing Bloomberg financial data to ensure accuracy and relevance. The analysis focused on key financial indicators, including gross profit, total debt, and liquidity ratios. Gross profit data highlights Xiaomi’s income trends, revealing a consistent increase over the years, except an 11.1% decline in 2022. This decline was not attributed to shortcomings in products or branding but rather to tightened international export policies affecting Chinese electronics. Despite this setback, Xiaomi significantly reduced its total debt from $335.86 billion in 2018. Furthermore, analysis of financial ratios, particularly cash ratios ranging from 0.36 to 0.93, indicates a stable liquidity position. Xiaomi's sustained financial performance is closely linked to its strategic focus on delivering high-quality, affordable products, leveraging online sales channels, executing effective marketing campaigns, investing in brand development, and building a comprehensive ecosystem of interconnected smart devices.
