Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the Fun School Movement (GSM) program at public junior high schools in Kulon Progo Regency. The evaluation assesses the achievements and barriers within four key components of GSM: learning environment, pedagogical practices, character development, and school connectedness. The method used is Provus' Discrepancy Evaluation Model (DEM) with a mixed-methods approach, involving 3 principals, 28 teachers, and 288 students. Data were collected through interviews, observations, questionnaires, and document reviews, and analyzed using qualitative analysis and descriptive statistics. The results show that the GSM program successfully created a more positive learning environment, with an average achievement of 75.64% across the three schools, and supported student character development, with an average score of 77.92%. However, the main challenges included varying levels of understanding among teachers, low parental involvement, and the need for further teacher training. The implications of this study emphasize the need for continuous teacher training and increased parental involvement to support the more effective and sustainable implementation of GSM.

Abstract

This article examines the dynamics of Islamic entrepreneurship in Southern Thailand, particularly in the provinces of Pattani, Yala, and Narathiwat, which are predominantly inhabited by Malay Muslims. This study employs a qualitative descriptive method through a literature review approach, integrating findings on the business practices of Muslim entrepreneurs, the role of Islamic cooperatives, Islamic financial literacy, and community access to halal financing. The results indicate that while the community demonstrates a strong commitment to conducting business in accordance with Islamic principles, Islamic entrepreneurship in the region faces several structural challenges. These include a limited understanding of Islamic jurisprudence (Fiqh Muamalah), low levels of Islamic financial literacy, restricted access to formal Islamic financial institutions, and external economic shocks such as the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the existence of the Pattani Islamic Cooperative, community-based business initiatives, and the optimization of Islamic social finance instruments such as zakat, waqf, and sadaqah provide significant opportunities to strengthen the ecosystem. This article concludes that the sustainable development of Islamic entrepreneurship in Southern Thailand requires a strategic integration of ethical reinforcement, institutional support from cooperatives, and enhanced financial literacy.

Abstract

Desa sebagai unit pemerintahan terkecil memiliki peran strategis dalam mendukung pembangunan nasional dan peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Namun, penyelenggaraan pemerintahan desa masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan, seperti keterbatasan sumber daya, kapasitas aparatur yang belum optimal, serta kompleksitas pengelolaan administrasi publik. Tata kelola administrasi publik yang efektif dan efisien menjadi fondasi penting bagi terwujudnya pemerintahan desa yang transparan, akuntabel, dan responsif . Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas tata kelola administrasi publik di desa mitra melalui pendekatan kolaboratif dan partisipatif, serta memperkuat pemahaman dan kapasitas aparatur desa. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi ceramah, praktik langsung, dan dokumentasi kegiatan sebagai sarana pembelajaran dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan aparatur desa dalam pengelolaan administrasi publik, penerapan prinsip good governance, serta optimalisasi pelayanan kepada masyarakat. Partisipasi aktif perangkat desa dan masyarakat mencerminkan tumbuhnya kesadaran kolektif akan pentingnya kolaborasi dalam pembangunan desa. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan PKM ini berkontribusi positif dalam mewujudkan sistem administrasi desa yang lebih transparan, akuntabel, efektif, dan efisien, yang diharapkan berdampak pada peningkatan kemandirian dan kesejahteraan masyarakat desa.

Abstract

Introduction: The rapid development of aquaculture contributes to meeting global fish protein demand; however, it also poses environmental challenges such as declining water quality, increased aquaculture waste, and heightened risks of disease transmission. Objective: This article aims to examine the role of biosecurity-based Good Aquaculture Practices (GAP) in supporting sustainable aquaculture environmental management. Method: This study employed a literature review method with a content analysis approach, drawing on relevant national and international scientific articles. Results and Discussion: The findings indicate that the implementation of biosecurity-based GAP contributes to improved water quality and waste management, enhanced sanitation and fish health management, and reduced use of antibiotics and chemicals that may contaminate the environment, with successful implementation influenced by managerial support and policy frameworks. Conclusion: Biosecurity-based Good Aquaculture Practices represent an important approach to aquaculture environmental management, as they support the sustainability of aquaculture activities while minimizing negative impacts on aquatic environments

Abstract

Bilingual learning has been increasingly implemented in Indonesian secondary schools to enhance students’ English proficiency and global competitiveness; however, its classroom implementation remains uneven and challenging. This study aims to explore the challenges, instructional strategies, and human impacts of bilingual learning in everyday school practices. Employing a qualitative case study approach, the research was conducted at SMPS Iskandar Muda Aceh Utara through classroom observations and semi-structured interviews with teachers, students, and school administrators. The findings reveal that bilingual learning encounters interconnected challenges at multiple levels, including students’ limited academic English proficiency, teachers’ pedagogical and linguistic constraints, and insufficient institutional and policy support. Although many students demonstrate conceptual understanding, they often struggle to articulate academic ideas in English, while teachers struggle to balance content mastery and language use. To address these challenges, teachers and schools adopt adaptive strategies such as code-switching, scaffolding, flexible language practices, and gradual implementation of bilingual instruction. Beyond instructional outcomes, the study highlights significant human impacts, particularly on students’ motivation, socio-emotional development, and classroom engagement. Initial anxiety and hesitation are commonly observed; however, supportive instructional practices foster increased confidence, resilience, and active participation over time. This study concludes that bilingual learning should be understood not merely as a technical instructional model, but as a human-centered educational practice shaped by linguistic readiness, emotional dynamics, and institutional context.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Program pendampingan ini dilatarbelakangi kebutuhan nyata pengrajin songket Melayu Riau, khususnya KUB Emy Craft di Pekanbaru, yang menghadapi penurunan omzet, keterbatasan variasi produk yang masih berfokus pada kain, promosi konvensional, serta ketiadaan pencatatan keuangan yang tertib. Studi ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kinerja usaha melalui inovasi proses, diversifikasi produk, pemasaran digital berbasis konten, dan penguatan literasi keuangan. Metode: Asesmen, peningkatan kapasitas produksi, lokakarya diversifikasi produk, pelatihan pemasaran digital, klinik pembukuan SAK EMKM, dan pendampingan intensif. Hasil: Adanya peningkatan signifikan pemahaman peserta sekitar 95% pada aspek pemasaran dan keuangan. Secara praktis, program menghasilkan lima varian produk turunan baru berbasis songket, peningkatan frekuensi promosi digital dari sporadis menjadi rata-rata tiga unggahan per minggu dengan kalender konten, serta 100% peserta telah menerapkan pembukuan harian dan rekap arus kas bulanan. Kesimpulan: Pelatihan ini berhasil meningkatkan kinerja usaha melalui inovasi proses, diversifikasi produk, pemasaran digital, dan penguatan literasi keuangan.

Abstract

The Koperasi Merah Putih is designed as an instrument of people-centered economic development that emphasizes the principles of mutual cooperation, participation, and village self-reliance. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Presidential Instruction Number 9 of 2025 on the Koperasi Merah Putih in realizing the welfare of village communities. The research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, using in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation studies. Data are analyzed through the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, which consists of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the government policy has a clear direction and is relevant to village needs, although consistency of implementation at the local level varies. Cooperative institutions have been formally established, yet they still face constraints related to managerial capacity and weak accountability. Community participation in cooperatives remains relatively low, influenced by limited financial literacy and a lack of sense of ownership. From an economic empowerment perspective, cooperatives provide access to capital, entrepreneurship training, and market opportunities, although the benefits have not been evenly distributed. Tangible impacts include increased member income, reduced dependence on moneylenders, and strengthened social solidarity, even though these effects are still limited to certain areas. Therefore, this study affirms that the success of Presidential Instruction No. 9 of 2025 is strongly determined by the strengthening of cooperative governance, enhancement of human resource capacity, community participation, and sustained regulatory and financial support. The Koperasi Merah Putih has significant potential to become a driving force for village development if managed in a transparent, accountable, participatory, and sustainable manner.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of regional expenditure and economic growth on regional financial independence in Jambi Province during the period 2020–2024. The descriptive analysis shows that regional expenditure and economic growth in Jambi Province experienced fluctuations during the study period, particularly due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, but generally indicated a recovery trend. Meanwhile, the level of regional financial independence remains relatively low, as reflected by the high dependence on central government transfers. The regression results indicate that regional expenditure has an effect on regional financial independence, while economic growth also contributes to enhancing fiscal capacity. Simultaneously, both regional expenditure and economic growth influence regional financial independence.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi manufaktur pada era Industri 4.0 telah meningkatkan kebutuhan akan sistem produksi yang mampu memberikan tingkat ketelitian tinggi, fleksibilitas operasional, serta kinerja yang terotomasi. Mesin Computer Numerical Control (CNC) menjadi solusi utama dalam memenuhi kebutuhan industri tersebut karena kemampuannya menghasilkan produk yang konsisten dan presisi. Namun demikian, tingginya biaya pengadaan dan perawatan mesin CNC komersial masih menjadi kendala utama bagi institusi pendidikan vokasi serta usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM). Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan mesin CNC drilling dan grafir berbiaya rendah dengan sistem kendali berbasis Arduino Mega 2560. Mesin yang dikembangkan menggunakan motor stepper NEMA 23 untuk menggerakkan tiga sumbu gerak (X, Y, dan Z), yang dikombinasikan dengan sistem linear rail serta mekanisme ballscrew dan lead screw guna menghasilkan pergerakan linear yang halus dan presisi. Firmware GRBL diterapkan sebagai pengendali utama dalam menerjemahkan dan mengeksekusi perintah G-code yang dihasilkan dari perangkat lunak CAD/CAM. Spindle yang digunakan adalah spindle MT370 dengan daya ±370 W yang difungsikan untuk proses grafir dan cutting dan Penerapan machining allowance sebesar −0,05 mm pada perangkat lunak Aspire terbukti mampu mengurangi deviasi dimensi dan meningkatkan presisi hasil pemesinan. Pengujian eksperimental dilakukan pada beberapa jenis material, antara lain, akrilik dan aluminium, untuk mengevaluasi kinerja sistem. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa mesin CNC yang dikembangkan mampu beroperasi secara andal, menjaga kestabilan kendali gerak, serta mencapai tingkat akurasi yang memadai untuk proses drilling dan grafir. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa mesin CNC drilling dan grafir berbasis Arduino Mega2560 yang dirancang memiliki kinerja yang cukup baik untuk keperluan pendidikan dan penelitian, serta berpotensi dikembangkan lebih lanjut untuk peningkatan presisi dan otomasi sistem serta layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran pada pendidikan vokasi serta sebagai alat pendukung untuk manufaktur ringan dan kegiatan prototipe.
