Abstract

In the current independent learning curriculum of the independent campus, learning in Higher Education has shifted to being based on internet digitalization. SPADA, which will be developed, is an application owned by Wijaya Putra University, which is located at spada.uwp.ac.id. The combination of project-based learning that implements hybrid learning is learning simultaneously online and offline. The problem formulation is formulated: How is the feasibility of developing a project-based hybrid learning model based on the SPADA application for student learning? How can the project-based hybrid learning model based on the SPADA application improve students' self-regulated learning abilities? This study aims To produce the feasibility of developing a project-based hybrid learning model based on the SPADA application for student learning and To explain the project-based hybrid learning model based on SPADA in improving students' self-regulated learning abilities. The research method uses an experimental approach with pretest and posttest. Based on the research results, the project-based hybrid learning model based on the SPADA application to improve the self-regulated learning abilities of Wijaya Putra University students is very effective. This is because the self-regulated learning ability for the goal-setting indicator has increased by 0.98, the environment setting indicator has increased by 0.90, the task strategy indicator has increased by 1.06, the time management indicator has increased by 1.32, the help-seeking indicator has increased by 1.81, and for the self-evaluation indicator has increased by 1.14. The implications of the findings in this study reinforce that knowledge and skills in self-regulated learning abilities are very much needed to support educational models and processes that are increasingly disrupting traditional methods by knowing the selection of digital learning resources and can encourage efforts to improve abilities in self-regulated learning abilities.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the 'need analysis' of English for Psychology courses and evaluate the ESP textbook from the point of view of the textbook users at the Faculty of Psychology. A need analysis survey in learning ESP and ESP textbook evaluation was conducted and then analyzed quantitively. The data sources of this research were students of the Faculty of Psychology who were taken by purposive sampling, which amounted to 20 people already in the 4th, 6th, and 8th semesters, the head of the Psychology department, and three lecturers in the Psychology Faculty. The data collection used was a questionnaire and documentation. The data is in the form of questionnaire results and interviews. Documentation technique is used in collecting data, while analysis technique is used in analyzing data, namely reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions and verification. The study results show that language skill materials are crucial for future Psychology students. Regarding speaking skills, students primarily require resources for conversing with current issues that are up-to-date. Regarding the students' need to access psychology journals and textbooks, writing and skills in composing scientific articles, reports, and lab documents are essential. However, the study reveals dissatisfaction among Psychology students with the current ESP textbook, particularly in appearance, visuals, design, layout, and writing materials. Despite some elements meeting their needs, such as layout, content, exercises, and speaking resources, improvements are needed in certain areas. Consequently, it is recommended that the ESP textbook be enhanced to better cater to these requirements, and future researchers undertaking similar studies should consider this focus on English for Specific Purposes (ESP).

Abstract

The integration of digital technology into English as a Foreign Language instruction has become a crucial requirement in the Indonesian educational context. One technological tool that has recently gained prominence is Grammarly, an automated writing evaluation application that provides real-time feedback. However, the effectiveness of Grammarly in writing instruction largely depends on teachers’ Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK). This study aims to investigate how Indonesian EFL teachers demonstrate their TPACK of Grammarly in the writing course. Employing a qualitative case study design, data were collected through classroom observations, semi-structured interviews, and document analysis involving Indonesian EFL teachers. The findings demonstrate that teachers’ TPACK is enacted through three interrelated instructional practices in technology-enhanced writing instruction. Teachers shift traditional writing pedagogy toward technology-mediated learning by critically integrating Grammarly as a formative feedback tool rather than a corrective substitute. They further employ multimodal representations to scaffold students’ grammatical understanding within written discourse, while modeling effective writing practices through guided interpretation and selective uptake of Grammarly-generated feedback. The study critically concludes that strong TPACK is essential for preventing overreliance on automated feedback, enabling teachers to appropriate Grammarly as a pedagogically mediated resource that fosters students’ grammatical awareness, metalinguistic reflection, and autonomous writing development.

This is a descriptive study since it tries to depict the result of their achievement and the most difficult section of the test. The data analysis uses the computation upon the results mostly applied for Excel Program, particularly in finding the Mean (X) and the Standard Deviation (S). The findings derived from the data analysis tell that  62.85% of the class belong to Grade D which means it is far below expectation. The finding also identified that Listening Section is to be the most difficult part of the test. Still, the findings say none of the students included into the level of either extremely excellent or failed. Abstract

The urgency of this study lies in integrating three pedagogical approaches—Project-Based Learning, Hybrid Learning, and Artificial Intelligence—to enhance students’ digital literacy competence, thereby producing a learning model that can be implemented in the ICT Media course and preparing graduates with the digital literacy skills required in the era of Society 5.0. The research questions addressed in this study are as follows: (1) Is the AI-assisted Project-Based Hybrid Learning (PjBHL) model feasible for use in the ICT Media course at Universitas Wijaya Putra? (2) Is the AI-assisted PjBHL model practical to implement in the ICT Media course at Universitas Wijaya Putra? and (3) Does the use of the AI-assisted PjBHL model improve students’ digital literacy competence in the ICT Media course at Universitas Wijaya Putra? The problem-solving approach adopted in this study began with identifying students’ low levels of digital literacy competence based on classroom observations and pretest results. This condition was further analyzed by examining the limitations of the direct instruction learning model in fostering digital literacy skills, highlighting the need to explore the potential of Artificial Intelligence in supporting the PjBHL model. Accordingly, this study aims to determine the feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness of the AI-assisted PjBHL model in enhancing students’ digital literacy competence. To achieve these objectives, a development research design employing the ADDIE model—Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation—was applied. Based on the five stages of the ADDIE framework, the AI-assisted PjBHL model was found to be feasible, practical, and effective in improving students’ digital literacy competence. The model also received positive responses from students and was evaluated as relevant by experts in learning, ICT, and educational technology. Overall, the average increase in students’ digital literacy competence reached 24.4 points across all indicators.
