Abstract

Digital transformation has become an urgent necessity for modern organizations, including higher education institutions, to enhance employee performance in the face of increasingly competitive work environments. This process relies not only on the adoption of technology but also on the ability of individuals to effectively engage in knowledge sharing. This study aims to analyze the effect of digital transformation and knowledge sharing on employee performance, with organizational commitment as a mediating variable. A quantitative approach was employed, using Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) on a sample of employees within a university setting. The results indicate that digital transformation has a significant positive effect on employee performance, both directly and indirectly through organizational commitment. Knowledge sharing was also found to play a crucial role in improving performance, with organizational commitment serving as a mediator that strengthens this relationship.

Abstract

In the era of globalization marked by increasingly complex work dynamics, the issue of turnover intentions has become a serious concern, especially in the banking sector. Generation Z, which is starting to dominate the workforce, has different characteristics and work expectations compared to previous generations, thus requiring a more adaptive HR management approach. This study aims to examine the effect of job satisfaction, job stress, and burnout on turnover intentions of Generation Z employees in the banking sector in Jakarta, with organizational commitment as a mediating variable. The findings of this study are expected to contribute to formulating more effective employee retention strategies amidst the challenges of global competition and changes in workforce characteristics. However, this study also provides insights relevant to understanding turnover intentions, particularly in the context of Generation Z employees in the Jakarta banking sector, where job satisfaction, job stress, and burnout play a significant role. The research utilizes the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach with Partial Least Squares (PLS) analysis using SmartPLS 3.0 software. The findings indicate that leadership, motivation, and work environment significantly and positively affect employee performance. These findings are relevant to the broader framework of turnover intentions, where organizational commitment can serve as a mediating variable. The study contributes to human resource management practices by highlighting the importance of internal organizational factors that influence not only performance but also employee retention. Organizations are encouraged to develop supportive leadership, improve motivation strategies, and create a conducive work environment to reduce stress and burnout while increasing job satisfaction and commitment among Generation Z employees. These efforts are particularly important in the competitive and dynamic banking industry, where talent retention is critical for long-term success.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis peran Good Governance dalam memediasi pengaruh kompetensi aparatur dan sistem pengendalian internal pemerintah terhadap kualitas Laporan Akuntabilitas Kinerja Instansi Pemerintah (LAKIP) di Kabupaten Merauke. Good Governance, yang mencakup prinsip-prinsip transparansi, akuntabilitas, dan partisipasi, dianggap sebagai faktor penting dalam memperbaiki efektivitas dan kualitas pelaporan kinerja pemerintahan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei, mengumpulkan data melalui kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada pejabat terkait di lingkungan pemerintah Kabupaten Merauke. Analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik regresi berganda dan analisis jalur untuk mengevaluasi hubungan antara kompetensi aparatur, sistem pengendalian internal, Good Governance, dan kualitas LAKIP. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 38 OPD dengan jumlah 90 orang terdiri dari pejabat Esalon III dan IV dari setiap OPD/Bagian. Hasil kuesioner ditabulasi dan dianalisis dengan Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) menggunakan aplikasi SmartPLS. Hasil analisis membuktikan Good Governance, Kompetensi Aparatur, Sistem Pengendalian Internal, Kualitas LAKIP di Kabupaten Merauke. Kompetensi aparatur memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap kualitas LAKIP di Kabupaten Merauke, Kompetensi Aparatur berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Good Governance di Kabupaten Merauke, Sistem Pengendalian Internal memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap kualitas LAKIP di Kabupaten Merauke, Good Governance berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kualitas LAKIP di Kabupaten Merauke, Good Governance memediasi system pengendalian internal berpengaruh secara posifit dan signifikan terhadap kualitas LAKIP di Kabupaten Merauke, Good Governance memediasi kompetensi apartur secara posifit dan signifikan terhadap kualitas LAKIP di Kabupaten Merauke, Good Governance memediasi system pengendalian internal secara tidak posifit dan tidak signifikan terhadap kualitas LAKIP di Kabupaten Merauke.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze women entrepreneurship in Indonesia particularly to examine the need for achievement, creativity and entrepreneurial self-efficacy on entrepreneurial intentions, and the mediation role of entrepreneurial self-efficacy on both relationships. This study uses a quantitative approach and online survey in the data collection process. The population in this study are employees who work in the culinary field in Jakarta city. The sample in this study was taken using a purposive sampling technique. We obtained 126 respondents and analyzed by using partial least square structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) WarpPls 7.0. The results showed that the need for achievement and entrepreneurial self-efficacy had a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial intentions, and also entrepreneurial self-efficacy mediates the impact of creativity on entrepreneurial intentions. This study did not find a significant effect of creativity on entrepreneurial intentions, and entrepreneurial self-efficacy did not mediate the impact of need for achievement on entrepreneurial intentions.

Abstract

Women's SMEs contribute to the economy, so attention to business performance is important to improve. Efforts to improve the performance of women SMEs require knowledge of the factors that play an important role in SME performance. This research was conducted on women SMEs in Belitung district by examining several factors that affect performance, namely social networks, family support and product innovation. In previous studies, there were differences in the results of several researchers on the influence of determining factors on performance, so this research will fill this gap as well as test the role of product innovation as a mediator of social networks and family support on business performance. By using the cross-section method, 113 women’s SMEs were obtained who have been running a business for a minimum of 1.5 years and are engaged in the processing industry. Data analysis with Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), SmartPLS v.4.0 was used in data processing. The path coefficient results show that social network variables and product innovation have a positive and significations effect, while family support has no significations effect on SME performance. Product innovation partially mediates social networks towards women’s SMEs performance, while product innovation fully mediates family support on women’s SMEs performance. Family support has no significations effect towards women’s SMEs performance, this illustrates that women’s SMEs lack family support in their business activities.

Abstract

MSMEs have an important role in the Indonesian economy. It is necessary to know the factors that affect the performance of SMEs. The purpose of this research is to test empirically the effect of e-commerce, market orientation, and entrepreneurial orientation on MSME business performance. The research method used is the quantitative method. The population in this study are the owners of MSME Ayam Geprek di Jakarta. The sampling technique uses the purposive sampling method. The Source of data used is primary data. The data analysis tool used was regression analysis which was processed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation. The results of this study indicate that e-commerce has a positive and significant effect on business performance. Market orientation has a positive but insignificant effect on business performance. Entrepreneurial orientation has a positive and significant effect on business performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of entrepreneurship education and the environment on entrepreneurial intentions. This study also aims to determine the mediating effect of entrepreneurial attitudes on the influence of entrepreneurship education on entrepreneurial intentions and the environment on entrepreneurial intentions. The subjects of this study were students studying at Universitas Tarumanagara, majoring in management with a concentration in entrepreneurship. The sample used in this study was 100 respondents. The sample selection technique used in taking respondents is non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling approach. The data collection technique uses the survey method with questionnaires distributed online via Whatsapp social media, which is made via the Google form. Data analysis was performed on SmartPLS software version 3.3.9. The results of the data analysis show that entrepreneurship education and the environment each have a positive but not significant effect on entrepreneurial intentions. Entrepreneurial attitude has a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial intentions.

Abstract

This examination aims to investigate the influence of market orientation, entrepreneurial orientation, commercial enterprise method, and innovation on the commercial enterprise performance of SMEs within the production sector in North Jakarta. The pattern selection approach in this study used a non-probability sampling technique with a convenience sampling technique. The sample on this look at is a convection business in North Jakarta with a complete of 100 respondents. data have analyzed the usage of the SEM technique with the SmartPLS utility. The consequences of this have a look at located that there may be a fine and significant effect of marketplace orientation on business performance, entrepreneurial orientation has an effective and good-sized impact on commercial enterprise overall performance, commercial enterprise method has an advantageous and vast effect on commercial enterprise performance, innovation has an insignificant high-quality effect on business performance.

Abstract

Perusahaan pertambangan batubara merupakan tiga besar kontributor bagi perekonomian nasional setelah sektor perdagangan dan eceran serta sektor pertanian dan peternakan. Perusahaan pertambangan batu bara menunjukkan tren negatif pada capaian pengembalian aset atau return on assets (ROA) terutama pada tahun 2021 sebagai puncak yang dialami. Hal ini tidak lain dan tidak bukan dikarenakan oleh pandemi Covid-19 yang sedang merebah dan mengakibatkan banyak sektor perusahaan mengalami kemunduran akibat aturan pembatasan wilayah yang diberlakukan. Mengisyaratkan bahwa mayoritas perusahaan gagal dalam mencapai tingkat pengembalian aset secara maksimal melainkan banyak perusahaan mengalami kerugian pada tahun 2021. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatahui pengaruh efisiensi operasional, perputaran modal kerja, dan perputaran aset pada tingkat pengembalian aset dari perusahaan pertambangan batu bara yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada tahun 2018-2022. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adaah regresi data panel yang menggabungkan data time series yaitu tahun 2018-2022 dan data cross section berupa 16 perusahaan kemudian dilakukan uji asumsi klasik dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa efisiensi operasional (BOPO) berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap tingkat pengembalian aset (ROA). Sedangkan perputaran modal kerja (WCTO) dan perputaran aset total (TATO) berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap tingkat pengembalian aset (ROA).
