Abstract

This systematic literature review investigates the challenges faced by vocational school teachers in implementing educational technology. Adopting the PICOC framework, it synthesizes findings from 10 articles published between 2014-2024, selected from Scopus, Web of Science, EBSCOhost, and ProQuest databases. The review explores factors influencing teachers' readiness and effectiveness in integrating technology, such as digital competence, infrastructure, and leadership support. Key challenges identified include time constraints, inadequate training, and limited technical support. Strategies to enhance readiness involve continuous professional development, ICT expert support, diverse training programs, and collaborative learning communities. The findings contribute to developing effective policies and initiatives to support vocational teachers in successfully leveraging technology, ultimately improving education quality and preparing students for the digital era.

Abstract

Advances in modern technology have brought many changes to various lines of human life, one of which is education. The purpose of this research and development is to produce validated website-assisted learning media in order to improve learning outcomes and Student self-regulated learning. The development of learning media assisted by Website Genially is based on the limited learning media in the concentration of Office Management expertise, especially in meeting management material. This Research and Development uses the development model of Borg and Gall. The test subjects consisted of media and material experts, as well as class XI MPLB students at SMK Negeri 1 Boyolangu which were divided into small and large groups. The resulting research data is in the form of qualitative data and quantitative data. This study uses percentage descriptive analysis techniques, normality tests, and independent sample t-tests. The results of this research and development are in the form of Genially Website-assisted learning media by presenting gamification features and learning videos which have been declared very valid and feasible by expert validators and small group testing for use in learning activities and are able to improve learning outcomes and student self-regulated learning in the meeting management material.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and evaluate an artificial intelligence (AI)-based typing speed test platform for Office Management program students in the Merdeka Curriculum. In the ever-evolving digital era, fast and accurate typing skills are becoming increasingly important both in the workplace and in education. This study follows the Research & Development method with five main steps: initial research, product development, expert validation, small-scale and large-scale trials. The developed platform, called the Typing Speed ​​Test, is designed to provide real-time feedback, performance analysis, and personalized exercises based on user abilities. The trial involved 150 students from various schools in East Java, showing positive results with 90% of students reporting significant improvements in their typing skills. The platform is considered effective in improving typing speed and accuracy and supports the principles of the Merdeka Curriculum which emphasizes independent learning and the development of 21st-century competencies. The integration of AI into the platform allows for dynamic adaptation of learning, making it a modern solution that can be easily integrated into the educational curriculum. The findings of this study emphasize the importance of digital literacy and the potential of AI in providing innovative and effective learning experiences to prepare students for the demands of an increasingly technology-dependent workforce

Abstract

Technological developments in the modern era make educators required to develop interactive and innovative learning media. This study aims to produce an E-LKPD product with a Problem-Based Learning (PBL) approach in Public Relations & Protocol Subjects, to determine the feasibility of the product and to determine the difference in the average learning motivation of students in the class before and after using the E-LKPD product. The method used in this study is the modified Borg and Gall model. The results of the validation by experts and small group user trials showed that the E-LKPD with the PBL approach that was developed was declared to be very valid and effective for use in learning. The results of the percentage calculation show that there are differences in learning motivation before and after using the E-LKPD product, where students after using the product experienced a significant increase in learning motivation compared to those before using the E-LKPD product

Abstract

Abstrak: Rancang Bangun Aplikasi Praktikum Kearsipan Elektronik Berbasis Website. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan aplikasi kearsipan elektronik berbasis website sebagai media praktikum pada mata pelajaran kearsipan, yaitu pada Kompetensi Dasar Menerapkan pengelolaan arsip elektronik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (RnD) yang dikembangkan menggunakan model Borg dan Gall yang terdiri dari sepuluh langkah. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah media kearsipan elektronik yang disebut Arsipkita layak untuk diterapkan dalam proses pembelajaran, hal ini berdasarkan hasil validasi oleh ahli materi, ahli media dan siswa. Berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli media diperoleh nilai sebesar 89,80% dan 92,50% untuk ahli materi. Sedangkan berdasarkan hasil uji coba kelompok kecil dan uji coba kelompok besar diperoleh hasil 89,50% untuk uji coba kelas kecil dan 90,05% untuk uji coba kelompok besar. Berdasarkan kriteria kelayakan angka ini sudah mencapai hasil diatas 80% yang artinya layak untuk diterapkan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Kata kunci: arsip elektronik; media pembelajaran; praktikum; website Abstract: Website Design and Build-Based Electronic Archiving Practicum Applications. The purpose of this research is to develop a website-based electronic archiving application as a practicum media in archiving subjects, namely in the Basic Competencies of Implementing electronic archive management. The method used in this research is Research and Development (RnD) which was developed using the Borg and Gall model consisted of ten steps. The result of this research is that the electronic archiving media called Arsipkita is feasible to be applied in the learning process, this is based on the results of validation by material experts, media experts and students. Based on the results of the media expert's validation, the scores were 89.80% and 92.50% for the material experts. Meanwhile, based on the results of small group trials and large group trials, the results obtained were 89.50% for small group trials and 90.05% for large group trials. Based on the eligibility criteria this figure has reached a result of 80% which means it is feasible to be applied in learning activities. Keyword: electronic archives; learning media; practicum; website

Abstract

This service aims to improve digital teacher literacy through intensive training so that they can effectively implement the "Typing Speed Test" application in learning. This service activity was carried out using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach. The results of the service showed a significant increase in digital teacher literacy and students' typing skills. Teachers involved in the training were able to master and utilize the "Typing Speed Test" application well in the learning process. In addition, students who took part in this application-based learning showed a real increase in typing speed and precision, which contributed to their readiness to face the demands of an increasingly competitive world of work. This success emphasizes the importance of teacher training before implementing new technologies in learning. With an interactive and data-driven approach, this service program not only improves students' technical skills but also equips teachers with effective strategies to support student development in the digital era.

Abstract

Dalam upaya mengatasi tantangan adaptasi teknologi di sektor pendidikan, penelitian ini secara khusus mengembangkan dan menilai efektivitas implementasi Virtual Reality (VR) sebagai metode pembelajaran yang inovatif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa tentang konsep tata ruang rapat kantor. Dengan mengadopsi model pengembangan ADDIE dalam kerangka R&D, penelitian ini berhasil mengintegrasikan VR ke dalam kurikulum Manajemen Perkantoran di Universitas Negeri Malang dengan fokus utama adalah pada peningkatan kapasitas visualisasi dan interaktivitas mahasiswa. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam minat belajar, keterlibatan, dan pemahaman mahasiswa tentang materi, jika dibandingkan dengan metode pembelajaran konvensional. Pengalaman belajar yang imersif dan interaktif yang disediakan oleh VR tidak hanya memikat, tetapi juga memperkaya mahasiswa dengan kemampuan untuk menerapkan teori ke dalam praktik secara lebih nyata dan efektif. Studi ini mengkonfirmasi bahwa, penggunaan VR dalam pendidikan manajemen perkantoran berpotensi besar dalam mempersiapkan mahasiswa menghadapi tuntutan kompetensi di dunia kerja yang semakin mengedepankan penguasaan teknologi, serta mendukung kebutuhan akademik yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Digital transformation is being implemented in Sanggar Belajar Indonesia, Sungai Mulia Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, through this community service project. This study aims to assess the effectiveness of digital learning materials in improving students' memory retention compared to traditional teaching methods. The study used a qualitative methodology and involves training teachers in the creation of digital learning materials. Compared to traditional approaches, the results revealed a 42% improvement in students' memory of the material, and 78% of the implementation's success was attributed to teacher preparation. Improved teacher competency in creating digital learning resources suitable for primary school pupils' concrete operational level was the outcome of the extensive training program. A methodical approach that blends ongoing training with the creation of technology-based learning materials has demonstrated the efficacy of digital transformation in education.

Abstract

The development of technology is currently growing so rapidly and is able to affect all aspects of human life, one of which is the administration of the Kambingan Village which must provide effective and efficient services to the community. This service activity aims to provide convenience for the Kambingan village community so that the management of correspondence can be faster and more precise. The service method used is using a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation studies. Based on the results of observations and interviews, it is known that the correspondence technology used so far is considered to be less effective and efficient where the processing of correspondence takes a long time. Therefore, as an effort to improve village administration services, a Macro Vba Excel-based correspondence administration information system was developed which can provide faster correspondence services than the technology used previously. The resulting product has proven to be effective in facilitating the work of village officials, especially in the process of managing correspondence. In addition, village officials do not have to worry about filling in the wrong data because the resident's biodata is filled in automatically.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and evaluate an AppSheet-based administration system, known as SIARTA, as a learning simulation media for office management students. This system is designed to provide practical experience in office administration without requiring advanced programming skills. The research process involved prototyping, conducting system trials with students, and evaluating the effectiveness and ease of use of the application. The results of the study indicate that SIARTA can improve students' understanding of office administration in an interactive and practical way. This system has also been shown to accelerate the learning process and make it easier for students to apply administrative concepts in real life. This study shows the potential of technology in improving the quality of education and providing innovative alternatives in teaching office management. It is hoped that the results of this study can be a model for other educational institutions and contribute to the development of a more effective technology-based curriculum.
